Chapter 27: Apocalypse Many Years Ago.

(Celia’s POV)

Going decently fast, I made it to where the shot at me was taken. Inside of a ruined building… was just a few people. They were scrappy, looked to be starving, but didn’t look too bad.

Bang, Bang, Bang!

Whipping out their handgun, one of the people had unloaded their entire mag into me. But this did absolutely nothing. Not even my dress was damaged. Guns are great, sure. Not against powerful fantasy beings like me, though.

Celia: “Do you think that such a weak weapon could hope to hurt me?” I ask with the tone of a Higher Being.

Man: “What are you… No, no… no! The zombies are started to evolve!?” He exclaimed in horror.

Celia: “Zombies? Oh, are those what destroyed this dimension?” I reply.

Woman: “Yes… Twenty years ago, an outbreak of undead happened, and the world was destroyed.” She explained.

Celia: “I see. Well, if you see a pristine person like me around, don’t bother them. I am a Supreme Goddess, and the others like me are also too powerful for firearms to harm them in the least.” I advise.

This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

Woman: “Have… are we going to be saved?” She asked with a hopeful tone.

Celia: “If it this situation was normal, I would help, but it isn’t. Instead, this dimension was just chosen as a fighting ground for Higher Beings. If you wish to survive, stay away from beings like me.” I advise once more.

Leaving them, I started to fly around the world. Unlike the second part of the game, this dimension was a real and full one. It wasn’t some small arena; I mean. Ah, and, I gave those people some supplies before I left them. I didn’t wish for them to die, after all, even if they shot at me.

Finding 10,000 players in this dimension will be… very hard. Of course, if I still could use my divine sense thingy, then this wouldn’t be a problem at all. But I guess that the game is now caring about balance, or something along those lines, annoyingly…

Faith: “Celia, just go slow with it. After this is the fourth part of the game, which is far more dangerous.” She said with a coaxing tone.

Celia: “You make it sound like this part will take a while to complete…” I say with a nervous tone.

Faith: “Since it is you, it might not last as long as usual. But typically, this section of the game takes years to complete. In history, the longest it went for was 10 years, and the shortest was 6 years.” She explained with a groan.

Celia: “Damn… that is still a little longer than I had hoped for.” I say with a groan of my own.

Faith: “Hey, look on the bright side. Perhaps one of your family members is in this dimension. Who knows what you’ll find in this dimension… At the very least, it will be very entertaining.” She said with a cheerful tone.

Celia: “Entertaining? What does that matter…” I reply, confusedly.

Faith: “Huh? You do recall that this is being recorded now, right? In fact, with your popularity, I am certain that many people are watching you specifically.” She replied with a giggle.

Celia: “…”

Faith: “Those words you said to those survivors probably made the viewers laugh.” She added, with another laugh as well.
