Chapter 12: Shocking Disguise!
(Celia’s POV)
Ria: “These are an ancient race called superior humans. Remember, you once had the chance to evolve into a similar race.” She explained in my head.
Celia: “I remember. But what does that have to do with how they look?” I ask.
Ria: “Nothing special, I just thought to bring it up. Anyway, due to you being a Supreme Goddess, you can see through their disguise.” She replied.
Celia: “Disguise? And, I can do it even in a practically human body like this?” I reply.
Ria: “You can. Here, want to see their disguise? It will explain why the others tried fighting them.” She asked, and did so before I could give an answer.
Before me, which used to be the image of a beautiful woman, was now some grotesque space horror monster. Why the fuck would they disguise themselves like this!? It is basically asking for trouble.
Ria: “I highly doubt that it is on purpose. They might have been cursed to look like this. Since they are only a technological species, they don’t know the magic to undo the curse.” She assumed.
Celia: “Oh.” I say with an understanding reply.
The woman didn’t hear the chat with my wife, of course. She just kept leading me further into the weird place. I called it weird, but it was more like those rooms that we stayed in. Except, the rooms weren’t made for living in.
I mean, there probably were rooms like that in this place, but all the ones I’ve seen so far looked to be mainly for research. Eventually, I was led to a cell.
Celia: “Am I a prisoner?” I ask.
Woman: “It depends…” She replied.
Celia: “On what?” I say with a head tilt.
Woman: “You called me a pretty woman earlier… Was that a joke?” She asked.
Celia: “No. I have no idea why the others attacked, you just look like a normal human to me.” I answer.
Woman: “…What do I look like?” She asked.
Celia: “Green hair with similar green eyes. Very pretty, in my opinion.” I answer with a smile.
At my words, the woman fell to her knees, crying her eyes out. Hm… does the curse extend to their vision as well? If it does, then that means that not even she has seen her true form in a while.
Annette: “Annette is my name.” She informed, getting up from the ground.
Celia: “Nice to meet you, I am Celia.” I say with a smile.
Despite not being able to see their appearance, she was able to cuff me and deal with her tears. Maybe it works like a reflection to them, rather than how it works with others?

Annette: “How can you see my true form?” She asked with a nervous tone.
Celia: “I have some connection to magic, so I can see through the curse.” I answer.
Annette: “Magic? So… magic really was the solution… And you said it is a curse?” She replied.
Celia: “As far as I can guess, yes. How did this happen, anyway?” I ask with a curious tone.
Annette: “Despite looking like you, a human, my race isn’t yours. Instead, we are a more advanced version. Both technologically and DNA wise. For example, this problem occurred to my race over two thousand years ago.” She explained.
Two thousand years? How sad…
Celia: “And in that time, you haven’t found a solution?” I ask.
Annette: “Not at all. Luckily, a hundred years ago, we found this planet. The beings on it could use an odd power, which they call magic. But all this time, we haven’t discovered a way to use it ourselves.” She replied.
Celia: “The solution would be to break the curse using magic. Breaking it will be hard, especially if the original cause has been forgotten.” I say with a thinking pose.
Annette: “A being claiming to be a Supreme Goddess was the one who cursed us. My people would never forget who did this horrible thing to us. Due to it, we weren’t able to go out and learn from the people on this planet. We do look like monsters to them, after all.” She informed.
Ria: “Did she say her domain?” She asked.
Annette: “Who are… how did you get here?” She said in shock.
Celia: “This is one of my wives, Ria. She was here this entire time. Like the woman who cursed you, she is a higher being.” I explain.
Annette: “…”
Going on like this would be very confusing, so Ria and I explained everything to her. About our true identities, and my purpose for coming to this dimension. To help, my wife gave her some useful memories.
Annette: “So… cursed by a higher being, and now we have to be saved by them as well? That is extremely upsetting…” She said with a sigh.
Celia: “It is upsetting, but we can, or rather, Ria, can help. Currently, I am just a normal human with Nano Machines in me, not a Supreme Goddess.” I say with a warm tone.
Annette: “I understand… Her domain, that is, if she wasn’t lying, was curses.” She explained.
Ria: “Hm… then it will be difficult to break the curse. Our best bet would be to find her.” She said with a thinking pose.
Annette: “Is that even possible? From what you’ve said, beings like you three can come and leave any dimension that they please.” She asked with a nervous tone.
Ria: “If she isn’t within this dimension still, then I will just go find her. The amount of Supreme Goddesses number in the thousands.” She replied.
Annette: “…”
Ria: “At most, it will take a month or two to find her. I just have to convince her to forgive your race.” She said with a confident tone.
Annette: “Good luck… We didn’t record why she got angry with us.” She said with a groan.
Ria: “It has been many years, so she probably just forgot to undo the curse and isn’t angry anymore.” She said with a shrug.
Celia: “Going on how forgetful most higher beings are, I am inclined to believe this line of thinking.” I say with a laugh.
Ria and I laughed, but Annette didn’t. I guess that higher beings were the only ones that would find this funny. It is still weird to think that I fall into such a category these days…
Annette: “Will you two really help us for free, and can the curse really be broken?” She asked.
Celia: “Not for free, but at a cheap price. That is, we need your help off the island.” I reply.
Annette: “That will be easy.” She said with a confident tone.
Ria: “Good. Now as for if the curse can be broken… All that Supreme Goddess has to do is snap her fingers, and the curse will be broken as easy as that.” She explained.
Annette: “…”
Ria: “Please pamper my wife properly while I am away.” She ordered with a serious tone.
Annette: “I will not mistreat her, I swear.” She hurriedly replied.
With a chuckle, Ria vanished. Aww… I already miss her.
Annette: “Celia…” She said with a shaky tone.
Celia: “What?” I reply.
Annette: “What is your domain?” She asked with a curious expression.
Celia: “I am Celia, Supreme Goddess of Lesbian Love.” I answer with a proud tone and pose.
Annette: “…”
Celia: “I am serious…” I say with a pout.
This, finally earned me some laughter from the cute woman. Yup. Women sure are the prettiest when they’re happy. Ah, I miss my wife. Speaking of my family, I have a “fun” prank to play on my daughter and the rest…
