VOLUME 16 Chapter 661: [Princess of the Frost Giants of Valhal]

Outside of the City, a young girl dressed in a snow-white clothes and has beautiful golden hair like rays of the sun was floating in the sky. Her face was beautiful but grim. As soon as she appeared, everything grew dim, and the air itself began to vibrate. The land quaked, and cracks appeared on the surfaces of the nearby buildings and trees, despite the restrictive barriers that protected them. The girl’s phoenix-like eyes radiated intense killing intent.

As she flew through the air, the beautiful girl’s face was filled with killing intent.

Anger and fury dyed her expression—

“Who goes there!!”

“Halt immediately!”

“If you take a step further you will be executed without hesitation!”

“Executed?” Even as the words left her mouth, the beautiful girl lifted up her cute and fragile-looking slender right arm and violently punched the barrier protecting Asgard. BAAAANNG!!! The small slender fist carried a ferocious force as it violently smashed against the energy cover. However, it only resulted in a tiny little ripple. Other than this, it did not have even the slightest effect.

The beautiful girl’s expression was dark and solemn as she eyed that firm and unshakable energy barrier. The waves of ripples that spread out had some momentum. However, there was still a huge gap between it and destroying the energy barrier. And this caused her to get annoyed extremely…!

“You dareeee!!” Immediately, a roaring sound echoed out in all directions as the entire city shook.

“What gall! You dare to make a move against Asgard!?!?”

As the barrier shook, howls could be heard within the city and crowds of people appeared, shooting through the air toward the gate. “Are you looking to die!?!?” They are all wearing flashy and luxurious golden armors, holding sharp weapons.

But the beautiful girl only snorted in contempt. “I don’t believe that I cannot break this crappy thing of yours!” Her breathing gradually became more intense. Her eyes became red. As she clenched her fist, frost energy immediately surged wildly. She let out a loud cry as she violently smashed her tiny fist into the incomparably strong energy cover.

Baaaanng!!

Following the swing of the beautiful girl’s fist, an extremely loud sound suddenly appeared in the square. Countless people lifted their heads and watched as crack lines instantly spread out on the energy cover while having completely stunned faces. After their shock persisted for an instant, they immediately turned toward the calm beautiful little girl who was still in her punching stance. This energy cover which even a Mid God would need a long period of time in order to break was actually almost broken by a random swing of a little girl’s fist?

How is this possible…?!

“Impossible!” Within the sea of clouds, Elena and the other Elders of Asgard were also stunned as they eyed the energy barrier that was covered with crack lines. Immediately, they cried out in a flustered and exasperated manner.

“You bastard!! How dare you waltz here in Asgard and cause chaos!!”

“Apprehend her!!”

“Kill herrr!!”

“Shut up!” cried the beautiful girl, glaring at the annoying flies that came rushing towards her. She clenched her right hand into a fist and then slammed it into the air around her, which rippled like seawaters as a massive boom echoed out. Cracks spread out in all directions, ripping the air, ground or buildings apart in shocking fashion.

The beautiful little girl, radiating killing intent, shot toward the incoming guards and soldiers. All it took was a single punch from her, and they went flying off one by one like kites with their strings cut. They tumbled through the air, crying out miserably. The little girl was like an explosively violent dragon. Everywhere she went, everything shook. It was like a whirlwind that none of the nearly thousand approaching Godkins and High Humans could do anything to stop.

Suddenly, a roar could be heard from within the city as dozens of figures shot out. Their auras emanated shocking power as they emerged.

“Frost Giant, are you here as a representative of the Jotunn Clan to declare war on Asgard!?” One of the approaching figures was a white-haired old man who spoke with a grim voice. Next to him was none other than Elena, whose face was written with astonishment. She stared in shock at the beautiful little girl as they approached.

“I’m not here representing my Clan. God Tyr! I’m here as a wife, representing myself!” The beautiful girl’s jaw was set, and her phoenix-like eyes radiated killing intent. She punctuated her words by once again slamming her fist down onto the barrier. “Give me back my husband! Or else, I will destroy your Asgard!!!”

“Husband?!” Elena and the others showed a confused expression. “I think you are misunderstanding something here, we don’t have your husband.”

“Lies!” The girl cried out in anger. “You dare lie in the face of me, Asgardian?! You are courting your own doom!!"

"...?!!"

"I can feel his aura within this City! I had chased him all the way to the other Continents only for me to be late all the time, him disappearing for who knows where! Now, I know that he is here! Give me back my husband right this instant or else I would destroy your City, Asgardians!!”

The killing intent boiling in the girl’s eyes seemed to have no end. She had suppressed it for a long time but could do so no longer.

“…But that’s…” Elena was getting annoyed. This is surely is a misunderstanding. However, before she could argue—

The War God Tyr appeared in front of her, facing the beautiful girl.

“I take it, you are looking for Býleistr…?”

“…?!!” The girl’s action suddenly halted and she stared at the War God Tyr with a glare.

“Where is he?!” she asked coldly.

“He is indeed here…”

“…?!!” The girl’s expression brightened. However, the War God’s next words seemed to have poured cold water on her excitement, “However, I doubt he would remember you, Frost Giant…” The War God shook his head lightly.

“What? What did you just say?!” The little girl asked reflexively. Her expression turned grim and her expression darkens. “What did you do?!” her words passed through gritting teeth.

“We didn’t do anything, nor do we know anything. However, from what I can see, he doesn’t remember anything as to when he exists as Býleistr, or any of his previous incarnations, even including the time when he was once a Frost Giant…or a God, at that!” The War God honestly replied. He knows about the identity of the girl before him and although he was afraid, they are now truly facing quite a terrible enemy. And if the Frost Giants would appear and enter the fray, it would surely be difficult to protect Asgard or assure its safety anymore!

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Of all the races of giants, the foremost enemies of the Asgardians were the Frost Giants. Therefore, the War God Tyr knows how truly terrifying these monsters was once they are full bent on destroying you!

Besides, according to her descendants’ words, Býleistr seemed to have been truly helping and protecting them all this time. Although he didn’t want to acknowledge his existence as Býleistr, the War God Tyr was assured that he was none other than him.

Presence and aura couldn’t be doubted. Although this kind of suspicion greatly wavered when he heard about him being the infamous Wise King Solomon and the Demon Prince Dante at the same time, twin brother of the Demon Prince of Absolute Evil; Vergil and wondered if he might have been mistaken but when this little girl here appeared in front of him and was looking for her husband, the War God Tyr was finally affirmed of his suspicion—

The white-clothed beautiful girl in front of them and was raging like a little bull, was none other than—Princess of the Frost Giants of Valhal; Princess Ilse.

“What nonsense are you talking about!?” Princess Ilse cried out in anger.

“Say what you want but this is the truth!” The War God Tyr responded with a sigh.

“… …” Princess Ilse glared at the War God, her phoenix-like eyes glaring and full of threatening rays. However, after seeing that the War God Tyr didn’t seem to be lying, Princess Ilse could only grit her teeth in unwillingness.

“Where is he…?” she asked. At this moment, she finally managed to calm herself. However, the presence emanating from her was like that of a ticking bomb, ready to explode anytime.

“For the sake of your father, Primordial Ymir, I won’t go too hard on you. I will lead you to him but you must swear to never create chaos within our home or else we would surely chase you out!” The War God Tyr coolly muttered.

“You Excellency God Tyr—!” Elena and the others cried out in alarm but the War God waved his hand at them, causing them to shut up.

“How about it?” The War God Tyr stared at Princess Ilse with a faint smile. If she was here, she would surely not stay back when Asgard would be attacked by enemies. Rather than making them an enemy, might as well pull them to their sides that would surely be a good decision. Much less, Princess Ilse power was extremely strong… she would surely be a good addition to their force!

Princess Ilse frowned for a bit. She was not an idiot and she knows as to what was happening in the entire Continent. Thus, she immediately realized the War God’s intention—however, if the ‘Fool’ was really here, then, she has no reason to refuse it. And so, she nodded her head.

With the War God Tyr and the other Elders including Elena, Princess Ilse was able to bypass the barrier and immediately went straight towards a luxurious mansion, which from a distance looked quite magnificent. Palatial structures sprawled around it, and in front was a large square in which could be seen eighteen dragon statues that emanated shocking auras.

This imperial mansion had only one main gate, which was completely gold. Protruding from the surface of this gate were roughly a thousand golden nails. Each of these nails was completely out of the ordinary, and obviously could be considered a precious treasure.

The gate was also carved with soaring clouds and auspicious beasts. Everything was gold, making it look like some sort of Celestial gate.

This was the number one ancestral mansion of the Norse Clan in all of Asgard. In total, they had nearly dozens, each one of which looked like an imperial palace of some sort, although it wasn’t. However, this one was the top and most precious Mansion in Asgard, being once the resident of Odin the king of the Æsir who rules over Asgard as king.

After being erected, these mansions stood mightily for countless years, never weakening. They were like a figurative shield for the entire Clan.

“Who are you?!”

Sitting inside this luxurious palace-like Mansion was a very beautiful girl, Eerika Balder. She was currently taking care of Allen who was still in a coma. However, suddenly she was startled when several people, led by an unfamiliar girl burst into the room. She hurriedly stood up and positions herself defending in front of Allen’s bed.

“Eerika!” Elena called out the moment she arrived.

“Mother?! What’s happening here?!” Eerika frowned. “Who are you?” she turned towards the young girl who was staring fixedly at Allen lying on the bed. Her instinct telling her that this girl is dangerous. She hurriedly tried to stop her when she saw her walking rapidly towards the bed where Allen was.

“Stop! What are you doing?! Who are—?!”

However, she was suddenly blasted by an invisible force, sending her body crashing into the wall.

“Eerika!” Elena’s figure flickered and she appeared behind Eerika, catching her daughter whose face was now extremely pale.

“Princess Ilse! You dare?!” Elena yelled out in anger. However, the War God Tyr appeared before her, shaking his head.

“Fool…”

A soft and gentle voice echoed inside the room. Then, a plop! rang out as the beautiful white-dressed girl suddenly kneeled just beside the bed.

She finally found him! After so long of looking, she finally found him and yet—she saw him lying on the bed, motionless and his aura erratic. Why is this happening...?! What is going on?

She felt her heart was being gnawed by hundreds of tiny insects.

Why—why are you like this when I finally found you?! She felt suffocated. You don’t know how desperate I was looking for you…! And yet—

She couldn't breathe.

She wanted to run beside him but her body wouldn't move.

She was afraid.

She was afraid that he might not wake up anymore—

His existence was gradually thinning out as if fading away. This is even worse than death...!!

Just what had happened to him...?!

NO… please…not now… not now that I finally found you…!

Princess Ilse was afraid that he might leave her. Leave her for good this time. He was just lying quietly on the bed. His face was extremely pale and looks fragile. Even though he was in a coma, his appearance was like he was dead; his body was cold as a piece of ice. Though Frost Giants were actually cold-blooded but his was far colder than normal. It’s as if she was touching was not a living being but a block of ice.

He was like a fragile flower bud, favorable but piteous. Princes Ilse looked at the handsome boy on the bed. She was suddenly obsessed. She sat still, holding her husband’s cold hands quietly. She was lost in thoughts.

Why is he like this?

What had happened to him…?

What happened to him to be this weak…? She felt her heartbroken. “What happened to him…?” Princess Ilse glanced at Eerika and coldly stared at her. “Why is his existence so unstable…? Just what had happened to him…?!” her words became increasingly colder, so cold that everybody could feel the ice in her words. Everyone felt as if they were being cut by the edge of a sword. Even the aura around her was so cold, it’s as if their soul would also turn cold.

“Please, listen for a moment—”

“Mom, it's fine…” Elena felt that Princess Ilse’s killing intent was focused on Eerika alone and hurriedly stepped forward. However, Eerika stops her and faced Princess Ilse courageously. Although she doesn’t know this woman but seeing her concern for Allen, Eerika felt that she needed to step out this time or else she would lose something—as to what would she lose, she wasn’t clear yet but it’s what her feeling was telling her—“…that’s, because of me, he overdraft his strength, causing him to become like this…”

“… …” Princess Ilse eyes widened in shock and then in the next second, her silhouette flickered and reappeared in front of Eerika like a ghost. With her slender, long, and white hand, she seized the girl’s throat. “Eerika?!” Elena’s face changed and along with her, the God Tyr also charged in towards Princess Ilse.

“If what you said is the truth, then you are my enemy, little godkin!” Princess Ilse muttered with an icy cold voice. Baaam!! Within the room, Elena’s figure was sent flying by the sudden surge of magic power while the God Tyr managed to appear behind Princess Ilse, disregarding the girl’s mana.

“Put her down, Princess of the Frost Giants…!”

The God Tyr muttered coldly as a sword was placed against her neck.

However, Princess Ilse completely ignored him as her gaze fixed on the struggling Eerika, as if she had not noticed the old geezer. Eerika’s face was quite flushed red. She grabbed onto the arm that tightly threatened her life. But no matter how hard she struggled and tried to escape, the hand that was locked onto her throat would not loosen even a single bit. After a short while she bit her lips and let go, letting Princess Ilse strangle her as tears accumulated at the corner of her eyes, falling ever so slowly.

“…kill me…if you do, Sol would never forgive you…kill me, if you dare…!” She bit her lips and growled.

Grabbing her by the throat, Princess Ilse lifted her up into the air. However, after hearing Eerika’s threat, Princess Ilse’s brows furrowed. “You dare threaten me using him?” After a loud growl that seemed to have shattered the heaven, Princess Ilse hair flapped out of anger. She then released the magic power that she had suppressed for a long time.

At that moment, a torrent of magic power gushed out, centered around Princess Ilse, causing the teacups and water basin on the table to rattle. Eerika felt daunted by the intense pressure being released by the Frost Giant Princess before her. Chilliness permeated the sky and the air around them. The Princess of the Frost Giants; Princess Ilse’s blonde hair slowly turned in a shade of snow as a beautiful and intricate, Ice crown appeared at the top of her head!

Above the clouds outside the Palace, heavy waves of mana blanketed the sky. The majestic and terrifying energy rolled forward with great strength and vigor, dimming the color of Heaven and Earth and stealing away the Sun’s light.

Hail and snow started to fall!
