Chapter 471: [ The Winner in the End… is who? (2) ]
“HA HA HA HA HA!!” Along with the booming thunder, suddenly a maniacal laughter echoed in the entire dimension. The laughter was shrill but filled with determination and even a touch of madness. As the laughter reached the ears of Hanjin, it seemed completely brutal.
Allen was holding his head back as he laughed and laughed. It was the laughter of no regrets, a laughter filled with lofty sentiment, a laughter filled with a stubbornness that soared to the heavens!
The sky was thick with black clouds, and lightning fell down like rain, shaking Heaven and Earth. And Allen was in the middle of it all, head thrown back as the brutal sound of his laughter rose up into the face of the Heavens.
“HA HAHAHAHAHA!!!” The color of Allen’s hair began to change. It was no longer silver, but now gray with black stripes. His facial features appeared even demonic as another pair of horns appeared from the sides of his head, pointing upward. Now, he has two pairs of horns growing from his head, a pair pointing in front while another pair was pointing upward. His stature was tall and thin as before, but his aura was now completely different.
ROOOOOOAAAAAARRRR!!!! As Allen roared, his hair grew longer and longer, soon reaching his lower back. The tempest around him grew in intensity, causing Allen to slowly float up in the midst of the hurricane.
Bang! Boom! Bangg!!
Lightning and thunder fell down to circulate around him, causing the hurricane to turn into a lightning storm, shocking to Heaven and Earth. The intense killing intent, boiling murderous desire, immediately erupted from Allen. It roiled, emanating out in all directions.
The 'Cursed' Allen was set free!
Along with his freedom, killing intent poured like a fountain, sending Allen’s mind into complete chaos.
Kill!
Slaughter!
Destroy everything!
Stomp everything like ants!
Slice every living being...!!
Mow down every creature in the world...!
It crushed his Core, sent his soul into insanity, staining it with terrifying frenzy!
The insanity transformed into world-shaking killing dementia. It toppled Allen’s usual thinking ability—melted his mind into nothingness and filling him with a devilish will. It turned into a self-destructive desire, which in turn caused his power to climb upward.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
Allen’s laughter was filled with insanity. It echoed through the air…
The sight of it caused Hanjin’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief. His mind filled with roaring.
… A chill….!?
What was that…!?
Something is different about this youth…!!
Even though his suffocating aura of making other creatures look at him in awe, like a born King, at this time is slowly dissipating. At this moment, Hanjin could sense a threatening degree of perfection from him.
“How could this be…? He… he….”
It can’t be…
However, amidst the shock and terror, Hanjin’s eyes gleamed in thick killing intent! He then finally took a big breath and spewed out flames from its mouth that could not be controlled upon release as it was too powerful.
It wasn't something as plain as a flamethrower; no, this was as if a giant pillar of flame flew out of its mouth.
ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR
However, despite Allen’s distance from the flames, he could still feel the heat and the created shock wave. It was an extremely hot, crimson flame breath. Flames hotter than even the surface of the sun shot towards the sky a horizontal pillar of flames.
Like a flash of light, it was imbued with concentrated magic power and fire energy, thick enough to possibly be able to burn someone’s eyes if they were to look directly at it. It simply isn’t comparable to the attacks by newbie dragons–this was a weapon that could easily destroy a country or two.
That was slightly different compared to a cannon or a nuclear weapon. To be more precise –it was a ray of destruction—a flame pillar of destruction that spans several hundreds of meters, obliterating everything in its path.
The glowing crimson flame breath then continued flying towards him at a quick speed.

The entire space exploded with a storm of crimson flames, reaching Allen instantly.
Within the space of time of a few breaths, the thumping of a heartbeat could be heard, like thunder rattling out in all directions. As of this moment, it appeared as if there were a shocking magic power, heat and cold fighting back against the natural law of Heaven and Earth!
Extreme cold and extreme heat exploded up shockingly!!
As of this moment, every beat of Allen’s heart caused the tempest around him to pause, caused the air to vibrate, caused the land in the area to quake.
"——This is the end," Allen muttered as he raised the sword, and paused.
Surrounding him, a countless number of specks of light appeared. As if being absorbed by him, the thick silver colored flames on his body blazed even stronger and then as if they instructed to do so, they all rushed and converged onto the sword's blade like they were being sucked in.
Then, from behind him, a silhouette of a beautiful white bird spread her wings and let out a sheer cry as if announcing its presence into the sky.
CRYAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
Taking a deep breath, the sword that Allen held was shooting streams of white lightning into the surroundings. Like machine gun fire, the continuous barrage gouged out the air as well as the earth underneath him.
The surrounding temperature dropped and a white mist was floating around. It might be the effects of the Ice Phoenix magic power; small crystals of condensed water were floating in the air and were melting when it touched Allen’s skin.
Each time the white flame fused with the sword, it caused the sword to turn bigger and malicious.
The tip was thrust into the sky as if it was going to cut the entire world apart.
The attack that’s going to be shot now will be an incomparable destructive attack that will slice everything in view.
“Disappear, trash..........!” Allen coldly muttered and swung his sword glowing brightly in Hanjin’s direction. Only that action caused echoes of creaks at the surrounding space.
In an instant, light overflowed out of Rebellion-------as if the sword strike made by the blade was extending, it extended towards the sky.
And then Rebellion's light easily sliced through the incoming pillar of flame that was burning violently, and passed towards the dumbfounded Hanjin, before going into the sky. When that happened, the wind that was blowing around ceased like it was a lie.
An absolute and invincible single concentrated attack.
A combination attack of both two people of a single being— the night sky dyed red together with the sound of a giant explosion.
Splitting the cloud that was swirling around them, even space itself seemed to have sliced up as an over five meters tall tear in the space could be seen, revealing the face of the moon from the outside.

On a distant mountaintop, a youth whose body was covered with black robe suddenly looked in a certain direction, frowning, muttering to himself: “So someone ascended…”
He then cast his gaze towards the man beside him, he scowled: “A new God had appeared, what do you want to do now…?”
The man beside him ignored the youth’s anger and just look at the horizon with a brilliant smile. Satisfied, he muttered: “It’s not new—it’s welcome back…right…?”
“… …??”
“He he, it has been a long time since 'he' had appeared so you aren’t able to remember this aura, brother Frey but this is really familiar that I would never forget…just where did 'he' had gone to all these years?”
“That doesn’t matter, Apollo, we had faked our death but we still don’t know what you were looking for!” Looking at his happy expression, Frey gritted his teeth in frustration.
“Brother Frey, relax… we will find it for sure, the thing that could turn this war upside down… the reason why the Christian Clan had suddenly disappeared into thin air—” Apollo smiled nonchalantly. “My Oracle can never be wrong…the truth on this matter must be related to this sudden Demon Invasion…
“Then, why did we not include Athena on this?! With her abnormal mind, she should be able to help us greatly!”
“No,” Apollo shook his head. “Athena has her own path—I saw it on my oracle, she has a great role in all of this---!”
“Apollo, I can feel something hidden in your words. Just what is it, that you really after?”
Just what is Apollo really wanted?
Apollo didn’t answer Frey back and still kept his mysterious smile.
“Frey, do you think, there is good and evil in this war?”
“Huh? Just what are you saying Apollo?”
“…no matter which side, all of them is neither good nor evil…”
“… we are all doing what we thought is right… saving the world? Destroying the world? Do you think all of those matters? Don’t be so naïve Frey…”
Frey couldn’t understand what Apollo was saying. All he could do was furrowed his brows in confusion.
Didn’t matter? Just what is he trying to say? If those didn’t matter, then what matters in this war?
“Does this God’s toy called world to exist eternally within a raging inferno, or will it diverge from its path and rise out of that inferno like a real phoenix?”
“Everything… depends on what happens now!” Apollo, the normally taciturn man, suddenly smiled.
It was a smile that contained an emotional sigh, but also, incredible ferocity!
Apparently, there were dark forces that had existed for unknown years in this world… that were slowly beginning to bare their fangs!
“…and what I want is only one thing…” Apollo didn’t continue his words and turned around. He started walking towards the opposite direction of the Greek palace.
Looking at his back, Frey was rooted on his spot. He couldn’t understand anything that was Apollo was saying…

Aside from them, there were also some others who noticed this phenomenon.
The ordinary common mortals just looked and revered, some prostrated and showed their piety… but there were also those who were shocked because of this.
Most of this was some secluded Gods who choose to hide their selves from the world.
Who just ascended?
A human ascended to Godhood?
That’s impossible!
They thought that a human managed to ascend but when they feel the aura coming from the light, all of this vanished.
A very familiar yet unfamiliar aura…
A presence of an Ancient one…
Did someone successfully revived and managed to regain his [ Divinity ]?
Who was it?
