Chapter 662:[Princess of the Frost Giants of Valhal (2)]
“Princess of the Frost Giants! If you touched my daughter not only will the Norse Clan chase you down anywhere you go, and make sure that there isn’t a place in this world where you can live comfortably, Allen will never forgive you!” Elena gritted her teeth. Her face distorted in fury—who dares hurt her daughter in her presence?! If it was not because of the girl’s identity, status, and power, Elena would have ordered everyone to attack her and kill her.
But such a thing does not matter to the Frost Princess. However, at this moment, “Calm your nerves Princess of the Frost Giants. What you see is nothing but an incarnation and not the real person…” God Tyr, who was still calm, said.
“…?!” These words dragged Princess Ilse from her fury and the hand strangling Eerika slowly loosened. Elena hurriedly rushed towards Eerika’s side and held her in an embrace before retreating away. But Princess Ilse ignored them and turned towards the God Tyr, “What did you say?”
The God Tyr lay down his sword from her neck and turned towards the sleeping prince, “I heard he is a clone, but I completely disagree. He was probably an incarnation, so perfect that even you were fooled. In any case, he is alive and well, the original that is…”
“An incarnation…” Princess Ilse muttered absentmindedly then, her expression lightened and seemed to have sighed in relief. As long as he is okay…
“Where is he now?”
To her answer, the God Tyr frowned as he also didn’t know it. Seeing this, Princess Ilse turned towards Eerika’s direction who was breathing heavily. When she saw Princess Ilse look at her, she glared defiantly at her as well. She was almost killed... this b*tch!!
“Why would I tell you?” Eerika snorted in anger.
“… …” Princess Ilse frowned.
Elena immediately stepped in front of Eerika, all while staring angrily at her as well. “You’re angry? Hmph! Why don’t you try to kill me again? I don’t care who you are, but know this, Sol came here to protect me. If something happened to me, he would never forgive you! If you think I am bluffing, then go… kill me!” Eerika grinned coldly.
"Damn it, you dare to antagonize me? Don’t assume I don’t dare to kill you." Princess Ilse’s aura once again exploded but Eerika was not the least bit daunted.
"Antagonize you? Hmph! Come on, kill me then. Let’s see who it is who gets killed!" Eerika grit her teeth and endured the icy cold aura assaulting her, though, with Elena who was shielding her from this the Princess cold aura, she was only a bit affected by it. Her expression is full of anger and at the same time, pride. She was not the least bit scared, after all, she knows how important she was to Allen. Allen loves her... why would she get scared...?
“… …” Princess Ilse’s expression was red as it could be due to intense anger or some other else. “You will regret this…” Although Princess Ilse said that in an overbearing manner, she was the same as before……no, her face was redder compared to the usual whiteness of her skin, making the redness more conspicuous. However, she fought down the urge to attack, after recalling where she was at as well as the appearance of the God Tyr.
She never feared anything, but it would be unwise to antagonize them too far. In addition, they are the only ones who have information about her husband so she reigned down her rage and discomfort by taking a deep breath.
For a few seconds, not more than ten, the two people looked at each other. Although they were just looking at each other, the tension in the room rose as if crossing swords.
“……it seems like I’ve been rush, I apologize. I hope you understand the feeling of a wife worrying about her husband,” Princess Ilse bowed respectfully but her voice clearly emphasized the word 'Husband'
Twitch! “…haha, of course, I understand full well, after all, I too am a wife. I am not that narrow-minded to blame someone one barbaric to know some etiquette…” Eerika smiled amiably.
Twitch! Twitch! “…is that so? Then, I would be gratified if someone broad-minded can tell me where my husband’s real body is at right now, I would be much grateful if you did,”
“Ha ha, since I don’t know if you are truly my husband’s friend, I cannot disclose any of that kind of information…if you’d like, we can only wait for my Sol to wake up and tell that to you, yourself, right?”
“… …much obliged,”
Understanding that taking information from her is already an impossible cause, Princess Ilse could only answer as such.
Princess Ilse gave a pleasant smile as if the tension before had been a lie. Likewise, Eerika also smiled. Although they smiled at each other, both smiles were rather fake as an intense storm brewed between them that even affected the God Tyr as the latter couldn’t help but step back in apprehension, not knowing how to intercede on their charade. Princess Ilse smile was like a smile had just been pasted and stuck to her face. Because of her beauty, Eerika’s smile had the same feeling as a smiling doll.
They weren’t sincere smiles but rather smiles for show.
Not smiling from their hearts, but instead only putting on a smiling expression.
While they understood each other, they did not say anything. ……No, they couldn’t.
Like that, with a smile that would cause Allen to doubt his eyes if he saw, Princess Ilse coldly glanced at Eerika hatefully and turned around, sitting at the chair beside the bed. She quietly watched the sleeping youth, her gaze who was originally cold turned warm and affectionate, like a passing breeze in a prairie, unlike the cold snowy peak before.
Eerika was indeed not someone narrow-minded. If she placed herself on Princess Ilse shoes, although she still doesn’t know about her relationship with Allen, just by looking at her actions and expression, she could easily surmise what she wanted to know, and she realized, she would also do and act the same if she knew her beloved, Allen was in such condition, not knowing anything why or how. Despite feeling pain and jealousy from knowing this girl who harbors true love towards her beloved, she could only bite her lips and walk forward.
In the Norse Clan, she was the only one entitled to stay by his side—no one can take care of him as she does. And so, even if some outsider was to suddenly appear out of nowhere, as someone who has that right, she needed to stay strong and be a ‘proper wife’ and stay more besides Allen. That is her place. She would never relinquish that even if some old flame appeared and tried to snatch it!
However, to Eerika’s surprise, Princess Ilse didn’t say anything nor she seemed to notice her approach as her gaze was fixed at Allen unwaveringly. To this, Eerika could only nod her head in appreciation—at least this person seemed to truly love Sol, she thought.
… …
“I feel like shit,” Allen groaned.

After clearing the 29th layer of the Dungeon, Allen decided to take a rest and returned to the [Ruinos Castle] along with Laura and the others. Because Laura’s stomach was already swollen to some extent, showing her 5th month of Pregnancy, Laura was forbidden to go out and do some strenuous exercise, not only by Allen but also by the other girls.
And so, Laura was confined Within the Castle grounds. Although, as someone who was always strict and disciplined, and serious in the act of being a servant, not doing anything and just lazing around was quite a sorrowful boredom for her. Because of that, she often tried to clean, move, or even tried to organized Allen and the others wardrobe, which Allen and the others forbid her from doing so.
However, since she was adamant and even desperately asking for it, Allen could only smile wryly and let her do what she wanted. Sometimes, light exercise is also needed by pregnant women…is what he concluded and so he gave her freedom she was asking. However, Allen was still worried about her, so Agatha Dorhuck, who was researching and making potions as work was called by him, making her monitor and support Laura from doing anything. It was even to the point that sometimes, Maria Makiling would check on her health from time to time.
In Allen’s circle of trusted friends and family, she was really given the role of being a reliable elder sister—taking care of Laura and the still sleeping Baishe within the World of Solheim. Apparently, according to her, Baishe’s delivery seemed to be coming sooner than expected, probably even earlier than Laura, making Allen quite happy. He really dearly missed her in this long absence of hers. And also, he was quite excited about his daughter-to-be…
Leaning on the chaise longue Allen sighing after recalling that he was actually staying within the Dungeon for almost four days straight, fighting and fighting—since he entered the 20th level. And yet he still didn’t know how deep the Dungeon was. It couldn’t be a Hundred-level Dungeon, right? And for some unknown reason, the Dungeon was getting stronger and stronger as well as he dived deep within it. Although using his entire strength it was still quite a breeze, but he was slowly unlocking the limitations he put on his strength. Now, his limitation had reached until the Initial Mid God realm.
The Dungeon is getting more troublesome—though, the rewards are also getting better.
“Are you okay?” Laura, bringing a tray of coffee, suddenly appeared. She placed the tray at the top of the table and then touched the underside of her wrist to his forehead, asking worryingly. “You indeed look terrible. Your eyes are all glassy and you’re warm,” she said, shaking her head. “You should be in bed and rest for a while,”
“I don’t know what’s happening though, but for some reason, my energy is whisking away these past few days, as if something bad had happened. It’s worse than the time when I was affected by the [Curse of the Death mask],” Allen muttered, confused. His energy was surely being sucked by something he couldn’t understand, making it hard for him to continue the exploration even more.
Did something happen…? Allen couldn’t help but think as such. But he couldn’t think of anything that had happened these past few days… no, that would be the War in the Celestial Realm. However, what had occurred that even he, staying in this Independent Space separated from that realm to be also affected…?
Even his Demonic Trigger is being unstable these past few days—and one more problem is, I feel as if Lime is hiding something from me…
I tried asking what was happening to my body as well as the ‘idiot’ disappearance but she wouldn’t say anything…
He doesn’t seem to be locked away—
What is happening…?
Could it be his doing? However, there’s no precedent of this happening before. If he wanted to take over my body, even without Lime’s interference, that ‘idiot’ would rather face me head-on, and not something like this, slowly sucking my energy away. Wait… suddenly, Allen realized something. Now that you mention it, I can’t feel his presence within my body, did he left…? But Lime would surely tell me if that happens because Lime knows what would be the effect of our separation like how Solomon ended up with…
…did he joins the war, using my clone outside and something bad happened to him?
That’s the only possible conclusion…!
But, Lime doesn’t seem to be panicking that much, and just a bit worried—I thought it was something about the upcoming war but if it’s because of that ‘idiot’ then all the more reason why she would show such expression. But it’s not something serious…since my soul is still connected with him at the very least, if something happened to his soul, I would be affected—
…I see, if I sum up all of these reasons then—his body got the problem. He overdraft his magic power and of course, the vessel would not be able to contain it, after all, it was just a mere clone, not my direct incarnation, or creation of artificial bodies like Sheeya and the other [Pain] incarnations—I would not be surprised if he ignored this fact and still fought until death.
But with his power, even Duke Rank Demons would not be a problem—did someone from the Prince level appeared? Or did either Mammon or Vergil attack…? That would be a problem…!
Which side was he fighting with? He, going on the Demon Side is impossible and completely unthinkable, that much I have belief in. And so it’s either the Norse Clan, the Olympus or the Aryan Clan…
Then, if someone who that ‘idiot’ couldn’t even deal with appeared, did one of the God Clans gets destroyed…?
Eerika…
Allen bit his lips in frustration—no, if that happens, ‘he’ would return and I would know it. And since nothing worst seemed to have happened and he seemed to be still alive there, so I can probably conclude that the worst thing hadn’t yet happened. But damn… I’m still worried about that girl!
“…I guess, sending Lightning and the others should be enough for Reinforcement.”
Their evolution should have been completed by now and their powers should still be comparable to that of Sacred Beasts…though not enough against Duke Class and above Demons but they are still able to be at least help defend Eerika and protect her.
Then, about that ‘idiot’, although it would weaken me for the time being but…sending my incarnation should be enough to completely give that guy something to hold on to before I can complete my quest here. Though splitting my body in half would be extremely painful but I have no choice—
Creating a God Incarnation was actually only applicable to the High God Domain. At most, the Peak Mid God could do was create a weaker version of the Incarnation, which didn’t even possess half of the God’s power and authority and after the process, the Mid God would suffer a severe backlash, like he was split apart and be weakened permanently.
The worst thing is that, when the Incarnation died, the power taken from the Mid God would not be recovered and be lost for eternity. That is why no Mid God would dare do this kind of suicidal act...at least, not before they reach the True God Realm, the High God!
But for Allen, the consequences are reduced by much as with Lime’s help and the fact that he had created the Hall of Incarnations, much earlier than normal meant that he can create an incarnation that is just slightly inferior to the original, that even a created artificial bodies like Sheeya and the other [Pain] incarnation couldn’t be compared. The problem is, should he send the incarnation along with Lightning and the others—but if it’s possible, the one that ‘idiot’ is currently using would be better…
I guess I’m going with ‘that’ one—it’s also much safer than both of us rather than splitting my body into two.
I can just send one of my incarnations through the ‘bond link’ between us and support it with my magic power from here. Although it can restructure the Clone’s body he was using, but the body’s strength was comparably weaker than an original Incarnation, but that should be enough. Now the type of incarnation I should send… I guess, it’s not something I needed to carefully consider, due to [Frostmourne], that ‘idiot’ affinity can only be ice or water, and although he can accommodate the light and darkness of the Dark Angel, it would be incomparably weaker—
I might lose my Draconic powers for the time being but that would be alright…
[Dragon King of Envy Physiology]—would be sent to that ‘idiot’ for support. As for me, having the Dark Angel, the Undead King and the FireBird’s physiology should be enough to clear the entire Dungeon…
I would surely lose a huge chunk of my Strength and Defense because of this—fortunately enough, I’m close to breaking through the Lesser Saint Realm and so my body should be enough to compensate for the Dragon King's power. The Demonic Dragon of Thunder and Lightning Martial Spirit should be enough to patch up with the loss.
“Man… this is really troublesome…” Allen sighs.
“Is something worrying you?” a voice echoed from above.
Allen snapped out of his daze and when he looks up, he saw an extremely familiar face, Alkrasha looking at him with a faint smile. And much to his surprise, he was actually already lying on the chaise longue with his head on her lap, while her hand combed through his hair—
It seemed like he was just deep in his thoughts that he didn’t even notice Alkrasha’s arrival ar the fact that he was already lying on is back when he recalled that he was just leaning on it a while ago.
“You’ve been in a daze for a while, did something happened…?” There was a gentle expression on Alkrasha’s face, and her compound eyes were sparkling with strange but warm emotions. Allen smiled as he stared Alkrasha’s face, extending his hand; he gently caressed her perfectly beautiful face. “Can’t say nothing had happened—just that, it seems like the war had finally erupted on the Celestial realm…”
“The war? Is that Demon-God War?” Alkrasha asked, worried.
