Chapter 606: [ Kris Tian ]
As they sat there, chatting, Liu Muxiao, Layla, and the others started walking towards them.
“…here’s your company~”
The woman muttered genially as noticed Liu Muxiao's group approaching.
“… …” Hmm… Allen stared at the woman, his expression somewhat complicated. Seemingly realized something yet not at the same time—what is this…?
“…hei!” As he deep in thought, two arms appeared from behind, passing through each top of his shoulders, and suddenly embraced Allen from behind.
“…flirting on other beautiful women again, you bad boy?” Liu Muxiao’s voice rang out as her pretty face came from the left of Allen’s face. A mischievous smile appeared on her face. Her virility-brown eyes which were a-sparkle with the ‘joie de vivre’, came into view, staring fixedly at him. They were like two beryl-heliodor jewels melted onto the snow, causing Allen to smile unmeant…
Looking at her clothes, she was in the full-length bright red dress with the golden peony enhancing her noble aura. It looks extremely comfortable and it was even emanating a light flowery scent. She's just like a fairy.
“…I wasn’t. I’m silently enjoying my night with a new friend…no ulterior motives here or whatsoever, I swear~” Allen replied with a gentle voice.
“…oh, really? But from what I heard from Mireya JieJie, you are now a Big Bad Wolf, targeting another lamb~” Liu Muxiao grinned mischievously.
“…Ah, I didn’t say that!” Mireya immediately shook her head and hands in panic. Her expression looks comical.
“Oh really? I’m a Big Bad Wolf?” Allen chuckled in amusement. “Then, my next red riding hood is this girl?” he looked at the woman beside him with a playful smile.
“…oh my, I feel scared~” The woman responded with a laugh. Followed by her laugh, Allen and the others as well.
Although this was the first time they had met, it seems like the woman was extremely great at socializing and she was immediately submerged into their circle without any signs of awkwardness and distance. They laughed, chat and exchange banter like old friends.
“So? Who is this beautiful little sister?” Layla walked over and asked with a faint smile.
“My name is Kristian…” The woman stood up and with a warm smile that doesn’t seem to be fake and offered her hand towards Layla.
“Kristian? That’s quite a boyish name…” Liu Muxiao exclaimed in surprise as she heard the woman's name.
The woman chuckled in amusement. “I get that a lot. However, it was not made of one word. It’s Kris, K. R. I. S, and Tian, T. I. A. N… so, it became Kristian. It became a nickname before I knew it."
“…that’s a wonderful name…” Layla muttered as she accepted Kristian’s hand and shook it. And with a happy smile, she introduced herself, “My name is Layla, Allen’s older sister. That one is Liu Muxiao, this one is Alkrasha, and the two scary girls you have seen a while ago, Laura, Mireya and the one we also met just now …Romeia, is it not?”
“Yeah, the name’s Romeia…” Romeia nodded her head as she looks at Kristian with a faint and amiable smile.
“Allen… I see… so his name is Allen…” The woman covered her lips out of habit as she giggled.
“Eh?” Layla was taken aback. “You don’t know?”
“Ah, no…”
“Of course not. We haven’t introduced ourselves, after all.” Allen was the one who answered.
“Eh? You’re talking so happily I thought,”
“You’re mistaking it. Neither of us introduced ourselves because we know that this might be the last time we see each other so there is no need to know it. It’s not like we would want to treasure our meeting. And besides, this is just a casual acquaintance, nothing more…” Allen muttered indifferently with a shrugged. Twirling his glass of wine, tang! ting! the ice cubes on the glass made a noise and Allen drunk from it.
“Eeeh? So you’re not thinking of sinking your fangs at her as well…?” Liu Muxiao teased.
“Just what do you think of me…?” Allen frowned as she stared at Liu Muxiao who was acting surprised by what he said. He circled his arms around her waist and pulled her around, making her face her and pinched her cheek with her other hand. “Am I really that of a horn dog…?!”
“…Ish djidjint shey jat!” Liu Muxiao wrinkled her nose, angry but her eyes were stars shining with a gleam. The smile on the face of the man she ever loved seemed so dazzling that she almost felt like her heart would stop beating.
She playfully slaps the hands that were toying her cheek and continued with a coquettish smile, “…however, no matter how you see this, accompanied by your previous offenses, I thought you became interested in this beauty and was planning to drag her to somewhere and have fun~?”
“Then, that’s too bad, your expectation of me falls short~” Allen smirk.
“Ahaha, don’t sulk, come let this JieJie give you a kiss then~” Liu Muxiao grinned and peck a soft kiss on Allen’s lips. Though only for a moment before winking at him. Her calamine-pink lips tasted like rose petals. She then whispered to him in a dulcet voice as sweet as any songbird; “How is it? Forgive me now?”

Allen raised his right eyebrow while glancing at Liu Muxiao sideways, “…not yet,” he said. A playful smile appearing on his lips.
“Then...” Liu Muxiao grinned but before she could do anything again, she was pulled away by someone.
“Really, that’s too much PA… mind your image in public~” Layla reminded as she dragged Liu Muxiao away, who was chuckling in amusement.
“…I’m sorry about them…” Layla turned towards the woman; Kris Tian and said with an apologetic smile. She seemed to have thought that Liu Muxiao was doing this intentionally to chase away bees from the honeypot.
“Nah, it’s fine, it’s fine…” Kris Tian waved her hand with a wry smile, “…well, they do seem really intimate, I feel really envious now…”
“Ha ha, thank you~” Liu Muxiao responded with a big smile. Then, suddenly she stopped the moment she faced Kris Tian and her brows furrowed. “…Have we met…before…?” She asked, a little in a daze.
“… well, I’m not too sure either.” Kris Tian replied. “The thing is, you sure do look familiar but… I seem to meet someone before that looks like you—though, there were only several similarities, so I don’t…”
“…well, if I did meet you before, I should have remembered it. After all, I would never—”
“Then, what about the past world…?”
As Liu Muxiao was in deep thought, trying to recall, Allen’s voice rang out.
“Eh?!” Liu Muxiao and the others reflexively turned towards Allen, only to find him drinking on the glass indifferently. He wasn't even looking at them.
“… …”
“Husband, do you mean ‘that’ world…?” Liu Muxiao asked while tilting her head in confusion. “But even ‘there’ I still can’t recall seeing her there though. And besides, that should be impossible since that ‘world’ doesn’t exist in our current path… you said that it’s impossible to cross over it even if you managed to walk over the Thousand Worlds without problem…”
“Hey…what is this ‘past world’?” Kris Tian walks over and asks curiously.
“…nah, it’s nothing…” Layla stepped in and responded. She then turned around and glanced at Allen, “…What is it, Allen? Are you saying that you know…Kris Tian…?” and asked.
But Allen shook her head. “I don’t know…”
“What? But you did…”
“I have a feeling, that is. It’s just that, I can’t find her in my memories, there were people similar to her appearance but…” Allen turned and looks at Kris Tian, but the latter was standing still, looking at Allen, eye to eye. “…she is not among them.”
“But Husband, why ‘that’ world? If you didn’t remember her then I would also not—”
“Elementary, my dear Watson…” Allen shrugged. He then turned towards Kris Tian and continued, “Although I couldn’t’ remember her, I noticed one or two indications that say ‘that’ world. It gives me the basis for several deductions.”
“Deductions?
“That’s right… the fact that she came into me and talk to me like she had just seen an old friend, acting casually without being too familiar but also not acting like a stranger as well, can be inferred as one point of suspicion.”
“Eh?!”
“I… I didn’t …” Kris Tian immediately waved her hands, flustered.
But Allen ignored her and continued,
“… I’m still not yet certain but, surely you must have seen me from somewhere or someone like me. And you came unto me, wanting to know me, or probably wanted to confirm something…However, I don’t ever recall meeting you. So we certainly hadn’t met yet, is what I want to think. But something tells me that I know you…I know you so well my heart beats rapidly and my blood boils wildly…”
“… …”
“…probably, if not in the mortal world, then, only in that world… but there’s a very low chance of this happening since that world doesn’t exist in the natural ‘path’ anymore. And my mind blanked out and couldn’t move on…” Allen then turned towards Kris Tian. His expression confused, “Why then, when Xiao Mu asked you if you had met her before, you answered, ‘well, I’m not too sure either.’ a vague response, completely different from when I had asked you a while ago. It means you had seen her before or even once met her… is that it, right?”
“… …”
Liu Muxiao frowned. She bit her lips, trying to recall every person she had met in the past and current lives. However, “But husband… I, I couldn’t recall someone like her in my memories…”
Allen stared at Liu Muxiao for a moment, as if trying to look at through her or even convey something. However, when Allen glanced at Kris Tian, he suddenly saw, to his surprise, Kris Tian’s face becoming more and more green, seemingly panicking or anxious.
Don’t tell me… Allen’s mind goes off, after realizing that his earlier assumption, the conclusion that should have never happened…was…
No way…
Allen’s nerves taut and his body trembled. But seeing the girl’s complexion, Allen sighs. If what he was thinking was true then… hiding her motive and identity is justifiable…isn't it?
“…Then, if that is the case… it’s probably just my misconception. I was actually going to ask you if you can remember her or something, due to her strange behavior but I guess…I’m mistaken…?” Allen looks back at Kris Tian and noticed her amazement and smiled that wonderful smile of his.
“Well, if she was not in yours as well, then maybe I was indeed thinking too much…” Allen sighs. He then smiled wryly and said with a hollow laugh.
“…however, husband making a mistake is almost improbable… then, you are… you are from ‘that’ world…?” But Liu Muxiao didn’t feel anything as her expression change in an instant. Her face serious and a sharp aura-like blade was emitted from her body.
“Xiao Mu…!”
“Muxiao!”
Layla and the others immediately stood beside Liu Muxiao and in front of Allen, staring at Kris Tian, confused yet they too have released their auras as well.
“…Ah no, no, you misunderstood! I don’t know what world you’re talking about but I came from Earth-101 and just like what he thought, I just thought that Mister Allen look like someone I know from before…of course, I know it wasn’t him but I just felt that it was really wonderful to find someone familiar in this place and I walk over…”
She immediately gives reasons, which in fact, she as well, couldn’t believe it.
“… …” When she says that, the atmosphere turned frozen and all the confused expression instantly turned sharp.
“You’re lying!” Alkrasha muttered coldly. “…don’t think you can just lie easily in front of me! I can see through it!”
“… …” Kris Tian’s expression turned unsightly. She turned towards Alkrasha, with clear anger and helplessness. Looking at it, it's not anger towards a stranger, but towards someone, she completely knew of.
Alkrasha remark caused the other’s chest to became heavy, then, when they noticed Kris Tian's gaze they were now certain that this girl really knows Allen, and perhaps even Alkrasha.
“No, no…I am not! I swear!!” Kris Tian smiled bitterly as she slowly edged back. She then turned towards Liu Muxiao, and with a complicated expression flashing in her eyes she smiled helplessly. “Look… what I say is the truth. I, I’m not planning anything…besides, this is a party, being called by others is normal… besides, I admit, Mister Allen really is a handsome man…”
“Mister…?” Allen’s voice rang out, attracting Kris Tian’s attention.
“So you are calling me Mister…?” his voice somewhat laded with sorrow and sadness that every person who heard it would have a heartache.
“…w, what do you want me to call you, then…?”
“Hmm…something like…” Allen’s lips arched upwards but he didn't finish what he’s saying and stared at Kris Tian meaningfully. At this Kris Tian’s face turned pale.
“You! Don’t tell me…!”
“It’s not ‘you’…right?” Allen smiled faintly. “…however, judging from your expression—I would never think it’s possible…” Really…? Is such a thing really possible…? Allen was still doubtful a bit.
“… …” Kris Tian stopped and looked at Allen and said through clenched teeth. She finally gave up. “…how…?”
Allen didn’t answer and instead, tapped on the seat next to him, the seat was she was just sitting at. His meaning was obvious…
