Chapter 110: [ Gao Butian Vs Allen Bando ]

“Why did you not say anything?” Sun Lingling asked. “If you just told master, then even if he wouldn’t believe you but at least he would listen… in that case, there might still be a chance!”

Liu Muxiao shook her head. “Even if he would, he would still forget about me whenever the day ends. In addition, in that time my father and sect were hell bent on killing all of you, no matter what I said they would never listen. And in that time, I bear many responsibilities and I can’t bear to set them all aside just because of my personal issues.”

“Besides, even if I tell the truth, what do you think my father would do? What do you think the sect will do?”

Liu Muxiao’s tone softened; “My child will only suffer worse… and I don’t want that to happen so I hid the truth. Only my mother knows about it…”

“… …” Sun Lingling turned silent. She just can’t believe it but deep inside of her, a part of her started to.

But then she realized another issue… “Liu Muxiao, even if what you said is real but, I just can’t believe it. Allen is a Superhuman, a very high level Superhuman. And we all know that Superhumans have low fertility rate… if that is the case, how can you conceive his child?”

“Allen indeed is a very high level Superhuman. If I’m not wrong, he’s already a Hero-level Superhuman at that time…”

“In that case…”

“But, haven’t you know. Sometimes, a miracle happened and two high-level Superhumans has the possibility to give birth. Although this possibility is less than 10%, it still has a chance to happen. Especially, if the two Superhumans have almost the same level…”

!!?

“At that time, I was already a Peak-King stage cultivator… if compared to the Superhuman system, I can be considered a Lv9 Superhuman. One level lower than Allen…”

!!

“However, there is also a possibility that the Daji’s poison has some effect to us at that time…”

Listening to Liu Muxiao, Sun Lingling’s brows furrowed even more. There’s a possibility that what she said was real…

But was it really?

The voices from the background started getting louder and the people gathered increased even more. Because of this, Sun Lingling decided to withdraw.

As for Liu Muxiao, “Liu Muxiao, for now, I still can’t believe your words but I will visit you sometime to clarify this matter. If what you said is real…” Sun Lingling stopped there as she shook her head. “Anyway, this matter greatly related to my master, so I need to confirm whether your words are genuine or not. If I found you lying, believe me, I will certainly kill you without hesitation!”

“Do as you wish, I only came here because I wanted you to stop your senseless killings…” Liu Muxiao indifferently shrugged her shoulders. “It would only tarnish Allen’s reputation… you are only repeating what happened in the previous life!”

Sun Lingling frowned as she turned around but before she did, she looked at Liu Muxiao for the last time. “Your child, what is her name?”

“Liu Wushuang…” Liu Muxiao honestly answered. “I took Allen’s fake Chinese name as a memento for him… I thought that at least, it proves that he was once a part of my life.”

“Fair enough…” after saying that, Sun Lingling was enveloped by darkness and disappeared. The people gathering in that place couldn’t react immediately upon seeing Sun Lingling’s sudden disappearance.

The other group, seeing that Sun Lingling disappeared, immediately moved and encircled Liu Muxiao, fearing that she too would suddenly disappear.

Liu Muxiao looked at the place where Sun Lingling disappeared to. Truthfully, she doesn’t have any intention to reveal it but since the government is giving this matter an extreme importance, she just couldn’t allow for Sun Lingling to continue her nonsensical slaughter.

It would just worsen the government’s view and opinion of Allen and that is something she can’t allow. If things develop that way, there’s a very high possibility that everything that had happened in the previous life would happen again.

So she went to look for Sun Lingling in order to stop her. Although she had expected for her to have regained her memories after seeing the list of her victims, Liu Muxiao still underestimated her hatred for them.

That is why she has no choice but to reveal her secret. She believes that if Sun Lingling heard of this truth, she would waver; after all, this was Allen’s child! Although it still not happened yet just that fact alone is already very important!

And for Sun Lingling that truth possess a very high significance!

In the end, just like what she expected, she had won the gamble! After learning this, not only Sun Lingling would halt her killings, she might also stay with her and protect her… after confirming her words authenticity!

That’s how loyal she was to Allen!

Thinking of this, Liu Muxiao let out a faint but warm smile behind the white colored silk that was covering her face. With this, she believes that she was slowly walking towards Allen’s side…

It might look shameless and selfish but, one of the similarities between war and love is that… there’s no concept of fairness.

There’s no value in fair play, only success is important and not the process!!

--- ---

After resting the entire night, when Allen next opened his eyes, it was already dawn. Groggily waking up, he noticed Gao Butian and Gao Zuquan doing some martial arts in the morning.

Gao Butian was teaching Gao Zuquan and their movements were somewhat ambiguous. Their arms were wide open as if carrying a basket but their waists were swaying and their postures were somewhat feminine. Even Gao Butian looked so absurd doing it.

Allen looked for a short time when Gao Zuquan finally noticed him. She stopped moving and like a startled rabbit she started fidgeting around.

“… You woke up.” Gao Zuquan asked in a soft tone. Fortunately, she was still covering her face with a blue silk if not, Allen would surely notice how red her face was.

“Hm.” Allen smiled. “You can continue.”

“That’s…” Gao Zuquan was hesitant and appeared quite awkward.

Ignoring her strange manner, Allen look at Gao Butian and asked, “Where’s Tang Yu?”

“Miss Tang went to look for some water. She should be back by now…” before he could finish talking, Tang Yu emerged from among the trees, carrying a shell around 25 – 30 cm from some fruit filled with water.

“Young Master!” Tang Yu happily called out after seeing Allen had woken up and immediately run over. “I fetch you some water, please use this to wash your face~”

“Thank you.” Allen smiled and receives the fruit shell from Tang Yu and started washing his face. After washing his face, Tang Yu offered a clean cloth.

“Ah young master, please wait a moment,” When Allen return the cloth, Tang Yu took it and wiped Allen’s face near his left ear. It seems like it was still wet in that place.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

Tang Yu’s care made Allen grateful and at the same time felt move. Tang Yu was really good at taking care of others.

Allen stood up and dusted his clothes.

“Brother Ye, why not join us for our practice?” Gao Butian offered.

“Oh, sure why not~” Allen happily accepted. “Why don’t we spar for a bit? I really like to experience the prowess of the famous drunken master even once.”

“Oh?” Gao Butian was started by Allen’s proposal.

“I don’t think I will be a matched for Brother Ye,” he said while wearing a wry smile.

He had already realized that Allen’s power was way beyond his imagination. If he still wanted to fight him, it would just be like a child trying to fight a tiger!

“Well, I won’t use my power, if that’s what you’re worried.” Allen seen through his worries and said, “… we will only compare in martial arts. How about it?”

“Oh? Well, if that’s the case, then I don’t mind.”

Allen nodded and immediately made his stance. He twisted his body to the right while making a low stance. Keeping his back straight but slightly rounded, he then put all most of the weight on the front leg than the back leg. His arm bent at the elbow and his palm was facing outward.

He curved his fingers, forming a dragon claw.

Looking at Allen’s stance, Gao Butian was enlightened. “Your stance, is that the Dragon style of the Heavenly Cloud Mountain Sect? Are you a disciple of that place?”

Allen smiled but shook his head. “I am not; let’s just say an acquaintance taught it to me?”

“Taught it to you? Do you think that’s simple?” Gao Butian made a strange expression. “If that acquaintance of yours was found out that he taught an outsider their martial arts, he will be punished severely, and worst he will be expelled from the sect. don’t you think he had made a very dangerous action?”

“Need not to worry, that person could defend herself. In any case, that person and I don't relate well. Whatever happened to her, is none of my concern…” Allen said indifferently, however, if one looks at his eyes closed, there’s a hint of sadness had flashed momentarily.

Though if something really happened like that, then I’ll just save her along the way – Allen thought inwardly.

“How can you say that? Didn’t that person taught you despite the danger?” Gao Butian frowned.

“It’s a long and complicated story,” Allen grins and made a ‘come on’ gesture. “Enough talking~”

Gao Butian picks up the jar and started drinking a huge amount. He wiped his mouth with his hand and said, “This is just a normal wine,”

He started staggering and his face flushed.

“Ha!” Gao Butian strikes with a low kick.

Allen dodged it by a side step, and then countered by his claw, aiming at Gao Butian’s throat. However, Gao Butian easily dodged it by twisting his body to the side.

But Allen wasn’t finished; his leg swept a low kick to Gao Butian’s waist but once again Gao Butian stumbled to the other side as if he fell due to imbalance causing Allen’s kick to pass him.

This was drunken fist’s greatest strength.

If one just watched him without knowing anything, Gao Butian just looked like a useless drunkard that was evading only by luck but this was actually its greatest power.

Drunken Fist fighters are not simply drunk. They become human powerhouses who'll strike unpredictably. Once drunk, the fighter’s ability to dodge enemy attacks is also greatly enhanced.

Drunken style’s posture is driven by weight and momentum of the whole body, staggering around, creating sudden power from awkward positions, and fluidity in the movements and transitions from one pose to another.

That was its strongest characteristics, feints that are made to confuse the opponent for a period of time.

Drunken body style seems peculiar and off-balance, but it is actually in balance.

During the fight, Gao Butian stumbled a lot as if he was already wasted. However, as time passed by, Allen started switching to a defensive situation. Combining the coiling, stumbling, and the use of his tensed leg, Gao Butian develop many great openings, giving Gao Butian a right moment to strike Allen where the latter least expected.

“The more father drinks, the stronger he gets…” Gao Zuquan muttered. “Although I admit that young master Ye’s skill is admirable but against my father, it is still lacking.”

She commented while watching the ongoing battle. Although she admits that Allen’s martial arts was amazing but she was confident that her father would win!

“Do you really think so?” But Tang Yu thinks otherwise. Her eyes never leaving the battle!

“Hm?”

“The Young Master’s skill is not only to this extent!” Just as she had finished speaking, the battle once again changed.

Allen’s kicks and palm was getting faster and his movements were getting sharper every minute.

He sometimes took advantage of Gao Butian’s lax side of his inattentiveness that appeared from time to time. He launches a strike from an unexpected direction and strikes an unexpected area.

Waist, leg, chest, abdomen, neck, head and throat, Allen’s kicks and claws sometimes found an opening and strike those parts, causing Gao Butian to be in a defensive this time.

Right claw, left claw, left leg, right leg, overboard kick, low kick, Allen’s swift attacks started getting stronger and fiercer. Hands follow feet, feet follow hands. When the hands draw back, the leg strike, when the leg stop, the fierce claw follow.

Allen attacked with a big right overhand palm.

Gao Butian stepped out of range, but before he could dodge, Allen made a low kick, causing Gao Butian to halt its evasion and raised his leg to defend, but this action made him his chest area wide open.

Allen moved quickly, hitting and kicking, and in a few minutes, two – three Palm claws successfully connected making Gao Butian retreat a few steps back.

“Ugh!” Gao Butian groaned.

But this was Allen’s opportunity.

Allen made a large zig — zag stepping movements while his body constantly extending and contracting.

Whenever Gao Butian moves forward, Allen would retreat and move along in the same direction as the attack. If Gao Butian retreats, Allen will then immediately move forward into his retreating motion and put the pressure back on him again.

The two fought a very intense battle!

“Wah!” Gao Zuquan gasps at Allen’s skill.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Gao Zuquan, witnessing the scene before her, was entirely tongue-tied. Before her very eyes, she clearly saw her vigorous father being kicked over and over again. Allen’s leg is like a dragon’s tail, sweeping across the ocean.

Witnessing this sorry sight, she felt like weeping. Obviously, Allen’s magical powers are not the only thing that is praiseworthy but also his martial arts. It was clear as day that Allen’s martial arts are stronger compared to hers.

He had said that he wasn’t cultivator but a Superhuman… but how come his skills in martial arts above hers who is already a mid-apprentice stage and almost at the peak stage?!

Heavens doesn’t do any justice! This clearly is favoritism!

“See?” Tang Yu’s smug face once again appeared. “Young master’s martial arts isn’t inferior compared to a master stage or even a grand master stage cultivator!”

“Although he wasn’t using any Qi, the young master had already learned how to substitute it by using mana instead!” Tang Yu proudly said.

Along the way, Allen had taught some things to Tang Yu. He even spars with her sometimes.

Due to being a [ Monster King ] Allen’s control of mana already reach an unbelievable stage. It’s already like a second nature to him.

Although he couldn’t use it for casting magic spells like a magician since he has no skills related to it but controlling it to strengthen his body was easy! His skills [ Explosion ], [ Beetle Buzz ], [ Heavy Legs ], [ Liger’s roar ], and even the newly acquired; [ Blue Flames ] all relied on using mana, so of course, Allen uses mana on a regular basis, even increasing his proficiency in controlling it.

Cultivators used Qi while Superhumans use mana.

Just like how cultivators value their Qi, Superhumans also needed their mana in order for their strength to increase. However, compared to monsters, Superhumans are still inferior. Only those who have magician-class professions have somewhat strong mana control and capacity – though they are not as skillful as monsters.

But in this sense, Allen could be considered an anomaly. Because he was a [ Monster King ], he was a monster in terms of using mana.

Perception, control, mastery, and proficiency he was already way above even higher level Magicians!

If cultivators use Qi to strengthen their bodies and attacks, Allen substituted it by using mana, imitating how cultivators used it.

It’s like a skill called [ Body Strengthening ].

“That is why, even if the young master was restricted in using his supernatural abilities, just with martial arts alone, the young master is still stronger than any run of the mill cultivators. From what I can guess, if liken to cultivation, the young master should be at least in a peak master’s stage or at most at initial grandmaster’s stage in terms of body tempering!”

“That’s cheating!!” Gao Zuquan couldn’t help but cry out in disbelief!

Her father Gao Butian is an initial master stage cultivator. This achievement, if compared to any sect is already an elder. But now, a youth even younger than her was actually still stronger than her father? This, how is this possible?!

For a moment, Gao Zuquan felt a momentary despondency. She thought she had already seen or at least estimated Allen’s power.

For her, Allen’s strength relied on his supernatural abilities and without it, he would be just an ordinary monster tamer but now, she realized she had still underestimated him.

Even without his powerful supernatural abilities, Allen was still stronger than her or any cultivators she had already seen. If any sect and organization know about this, they would surely kneel in front of him just to make him join.

Just as she was in a daze, the battle between Allen and Gao Butian finally reached its climax. Gao Butian’s fists and kicks became even stronger and faster. He was using double kicks, confusing Allen.

Then he would change into using only one leg but this leg was stronger than others from before. Its explosive might was like a kick of a horse, swift and powerful!

When Allen uses his powerful claws to attack, Gao Butian once again changes his movements. This time he would use large fast circular movements to attack. His arms constantly formed a circle in front of him.

All along, Gao Butian stumbled a lot, like a wasted drunkard but his unpredictable style of evading, attacking and defending gave Allen a tremendous pressure.

Seeing this change, Allen immediately somersaulted away, doing three back flips in the process.

“Drunken fist is certainly a pain to deal with…” Allen muttered.
