Chapter 615: [ Eerika's Growth ]
“It’s… it’s dead?”
The warriors and soldiers couldn’t even react before they heard sharp whistling sounds in the air. Multiple beams of golden light shot forth, piercing and striking monsters and turning them into a beehive.
As if being guided by invisible trajectory, every golden ray would unerringly strike their target, sinking into the bodies of monsters and beasts.
A moment ago, these vicious beasts had been savagely killing monsters. But after they were struck by a golden light ray, they tumbled down like broken kites, their entire bodies twitching and bleeding from every hole, dead beyond dead.
In just a few breaths of time, a dozen of vicious beasts had died, and those who had managed to luckily survive wasn’t in great shape either. The survivors turned around to fly away. Naturally, Eerika wouldn’t give them any hope of leaving alive.
She closed her eyes and let Mair guided her body, she then flicked her fingers and several rays of golden light beams ran them down. With eight light sounds, the over ten vicious beasts in the air fell to the earth.
Finally, after these vicious beasts smashed the ground, they had become puddles of crushed meat. There were those who fell into a crowd of monsters crushing several of them, taking them into the afterlife.
As the people looked at these monsters that had died such a pitifully horrific death, almost no one could believe it.
They all died… like this? So fast, so strong...so powerful!
They then turned around and saw; there Eerika was glowing golden while another girl was standing behind her holding her head with a hand from behind.
“These two girls…”
“When did they grow so much…?”
Many people sigh in amazement as they saw these two girls, who were always been at odds together, seeing each other as rivals yet were now working together. And their combination was not something to be underestimated either.
“Has not thought that this day would come!” Eerika slowly opened her eyes and her lips arched into a wry smile. She too cannot believe herself to be able to set aside their differences in views and personality and work together for a single goal. And now, they hold hands and fight together...protecting their home with their own small hands.
“…though I’d rather not hope it would come…” Mair’s voice rang out from behind. “Though you still owe me one… remember?”
“… …”
“…If I didn’t tell you where would ‘he’ go, you wouldn’t be able to see him any time soon~”
A smirk appeared on her face. “However, truthfully, I never thought that he would really appear in the Aryan Clan. After all, such a future is only one of the possibilities…I guess you are quite lucky~”
“…I know…” Eerika shrugged. “I’ll repay it soon…”
“…then, don’t die today…” Mair smiled faintly. She then looks up and stared at the still increasing number of monsters rushing towards them. It seems like this wouldn’t end soon yet…
Up above them, “Lightning Tornado!” The golden sword flashed in Eric’s hand, as he threw out a sword attack towards the area where there were more beasts, gathered together making a large group.
The next second a lightning tornado immediately flew towards the group at a drastic speed. The lightning bolt shot out in all directions. No matter what kind of monster or flying beast it was or how strong they were, they all fell from the sky after being hit. Scorched and burned. Once struck from the lightning bolts means instant death for every monster.
It looked like heavy black rain.
Eric Thor stood in the air, displaying an aloof figure that seemed to be like that of a mountain, oppressive and immovable. He held a coldly gleaming sword, and his face had a sneering expression as he floated. Just him standing there had already given almost all the people a sense of relief and security.
They felt that as long as Eric Thor was on their side, they would never lose any battle that comes their way!
He was their most precious pillar of support!
“As expected of the His Excellency Eric, he is extremely powerful… so this is a Mid God's power…” Eerika muttered full of awe and admiration. This was the power she had longed for... this was the stage his most beloved was also standing at!
Eric Thor was killing without shedding a single sweat. The number of monsters that fell on his hand had already reached a thousand and yet there’s no sign of him weakening or being exhausted. He was even far in the front, single-handedly decimating almost all of the monsters that were rushing here. And only those that managed to pass through him amidst the chaos, reached Elena and the others. Though, they were instantly killed as well.
“This is a power of a true Mid God…”
On her side, Mair stood and shared the same feelings. Mair can’t help but sigh in awe. In fact, they were not the only ones, almost all the people in the surrounding stared in awe at Eric’s dashing figure, slaughtering on his path. Mid God, such existence can certainly strike awe to people watching them.
Most powerhouses in the Clan are Lesser Deity realm powerhouses and only a handful of people are those who had reached the Realm of Mid God. In fact, the current master of the Clan, Elena Balder was only a Lesser Deity, a Peak stage Lesser Deity at most—however, breaking through the Mid God realm is not something so simple.
If it was so simple and easy, the Celestial Realm would have been littered with Mid God experts by now. It needs many factors to reach, and some of them are talent, potential, and most of all...luck!
Eerika stared at Eric’s power with a feverish gaze. She had finally broken through into Lesser Deity Realm after doing everything she can these past few months, all while thinking with her current power, surely she would be able to keep him safe and help him in his troubles.
However, only at this moment then she had finally realized her power has still yet to be enough—Lesser Deity Realm is only just the beginning of being a true powerhouse…!
It was nothing but the starting line in the path of Godhood!
Here, is where everything starts and begun!
Mid God Realm.

If I have such power… I would surely be able to protect him from a future of death…!!
Eerika bit her lips and her eyes showed intense resolve. She clenched her fists as a resolve to become even stronger birthed inside her.

2 days, 3 nights, 4 nights…it was almost been a week!
The battle was still ongoing.
If they were mortals, surely they would have been annihilated long before already, not because of lack of strength but because of stamina and energy.
All this time, aside from the War God Eric and several veteran warriors, who had camped on the frontline, warriors and experts go up for a few hours and fight after that, only after they are exhausted would they come back to rest and let the others on the wall to cover a wave, giving time for the experts to finish resting before going up.
Doing it this way, it could efficiently use the roles of the experts.
During this time, all the inexperience and young people had also had their share of battles, in which they are easily quickly become exhausted after fighting a few hours and returned. Though there were also several younger generation who had displayed surprising achievements, matching the veterans vigor, killing efficiency and power--showing their status of being geniuses were not just for show.
Besides, there were those who had experienced a Monster Horde before, especially those who were with Allen at that time in the Aryan Clan, they have more experience compared to other younger generations.
Fortunately, enough, there were two to three hours break in between of each of waves—when monsters suddenly stop attacking, giving them a chance to take a breathe and rest. However, even still then, when these monsters came back they are slightly stronger than the ones before, causing the crowd to feel a nightmare coming.
From 1st to 2nd level monsters, comes 2nd to 3rd, and then 3rd to 4th and so on…
If they were not high above normal people, they would have already been exhausted and lost hope by now--falling in the pit of despair. However, they held on--rather, did they already accepted their fate and just wanted to show their pride as God Descendants?
As for the reinforcements that Elena and the others were hoping seemed to have not yet arrived. Although they said they had been waiting for them all this time, but in fact, they are not and had relied on themselves since the beginning. If the Norse Clan, Asgard had suffered this devastating attack, then surely all of the God Clans would be in real trouble as well!
And as expected, Elena had received a report that Mt. Olympus and the others God Clans had been attacked by a massive Monster Horde as well and since then, have been fighting desperately. Though, of course, as Mt. Olympus has one of the strongest defensive barriers among God Clans, and with a great High God like Athena present, although she was still recovering, there’s no real problem in Mt. Olympus. Thus, Athena had promised the other God Clans to send a support team towards each of them. Only, quite a considerable time is needed to complete the preparation!
It no longer looked sunny and calm. Instead, massive waves surged across its surface, as well as numerous corpses.
At this time, Eerika and the other younger generations had joined the combat. Wielding their swords, spears and many kinds of weapons, they rallied on the battle like raging war gods. Although at first, their quite messy and chaotic but as time passed by, each of them had suffered fewer and fewer wounds compared to before in each wave.
They had started to show and manifest the prestige as the descendants of the Gods.
Their growth rate was so fast, it can lead to people’s jaws hanging. Their speed outclassed compared to those of the humans in the mortal world. Though, of course, not without casualties but there was no time to grieve and lament at all, all of them pick up their weapons, their eyes burning the will to survive and become even stronger!
Of course, not only is their will and experience soared in the sky but also their power levels as well. There were even those who managed to break through to Lesser Deity Realm during life and death situations such as the siblings Troy and Alva, Mair, and still other people--the elites of the younger generation.
Truly, life and death battle is a very effective way for people to grow stronger!
When their lives are in danger, their potential exploded and skyrocketed without limits!
RRRooooOOOaaaAAAArrrrRRRRR———!!!
RRRooooOOOaaaAAAArrrrRRRRR———!!!
RRRooooOOOaaaAAAArrrrRRRRR———!!!
Rumble rumble rumble!
The stampeding vicious beasts were just like billowing thunder. Tens of thousands of vicious beasts rampaged forwards, wild and savage. This scene was both terrifying and spectacular, the whole earth trembled!
“AaAAhhhhhHHH!!!”
“Kill them all!!!”
“Killlll!!!!”
But not one of the people retreated and cowered as they rushed towards the wave of monsters that could invoke despair. In this moment of life or death, no one dared to hold back anything.
Troy rushed forwards, his five-foot-long saber cutting forth in an epic manner. With every saber slice, large volumes of blood would spray into the air. He was most suited for this kind of rampaging killing spree, as his saber was meant to storm forwards, cutting away everything in its path.
Coupled with his now Lesser Deity Level power and might, he was able to massacre monsters and vicious demonic beasts like they were chickens and rabbits.
The other younger generations were slightly weaker, and their swords weren’t as good at fighting against large groups and even their levels are weaker. But their killing speed still wasn’t slow. With every chop of their blades, a monster would die.
Troy and the other geniuses were filled with an addicting bloodlust. In just a dozen breaths of time, they had killed a dozen monsters!
They killed an average of two monsters per breath of time!
Unstoppable!
Such killing speed could be called terrifying. But when Troy inadvertently glanced at Eerika, in that instant, he suddenly sucked in a breath of cold air. Eerika waved her hand, and the spear in her grip shot forth like an arrow. Seven or eight monsters were instantly pierced by her spear which was being coated by a halo of golden light!
Eerika threw her long and beautiful blue colored spear. With a metallic clang, the spear’s base was suddenly connected by a taut azure-colored chain! Grabbing the blue chain, “Diee!!” she waved the blue chain in her hand, with herself as the center.
The Blue Colored Spear drew a massive full moon. Wherever the spear went, monsters exploded like bags of blood!
In only a single breath of time, over twenty monsters died a horrible death. Then Eerika moved, instantly appearing in another place on the battlefield!
With a shout, she swept a giant circle with her spear once again, over a dozen demonic beasts decimated!
“This is just too inhuman…” Troy gulped.
Although some monsters weren’t considered too strong they are still a hard opponent for most people. But every time Eerika shot out with her spear, she would pierce seven or eight beasts. With a sweep, more than a dozen would perish.
This was inhumanly savage power!
Just when did she become so strong… leaving them far behind…?
Eerika’s power was already far beyond the level of their own, when in fact, they were just of the same power level just a few months ago. But the her right now was completely incomprehensible…!
It makes all of them blushed in shame.
They had the same starting point but why are their paces completely different from each other…?
This is the so-called talent!
They are just running at the same speed a few months ago but now… she was far beyond them by a kilometer…!
After the rioting vicious beasts discovered Eerika’s ferocity, they madly rushed over to her. Eerika snorted in contempt and her spear thrust out. Golden lights covered her body, and a blinding golden line slashed through the air as if it were dancing in the wind. Everywhere it went; vicious beasts and monsters would turn into scorched corpses, falling from the sky like bugs.
With a single spear strike, dozens of vicious beasts would die. The surrounding vicious beasts were overwhelmed by this spear and were frightened of flying forwards. Eerika thrust out several times with her spear, planning on tearing her way through this mass of monsters.
It was at this moment...
“Within a month, the God Clans will be destroyed!” a cold and ancient voice rang out.
It was an old man within the Monster Horde. He wore animal-hide clothing, and a necklace of bone teeth was strung around his neck.
A pair of horns like a bull at the side of his head and a long reptilian tail swayed behind him. He flew up into the air, followed by three shocking figures.
Of those three people, two were old men and one was a boy.
The two old men looked exactly alike, except that one wore all black clothing and the other wore all white. Astonishingly, their auras were comparable to that of a peak of Lesser Deity, no, it was only similar to Lesser Deities but in fact, this aura—a Marquis level Demon…?!
As for the boy, he held an apple-like Fruit in his hand, which he would occasionally gnaw at. A red glow could be seen in his eyes, and he was surrounded by a thick, murderous air. He was also at the peak of Count level in the Demon Realm.
This is the real High ranking demons...the true power of the Demon Legion!
“Demons…!” Eric appeared in front of these four people. His eyes gleaming ominously, “So you’ve shown yourselves finally…”
“Hmph, a disgusting God Clan. You have enjoyed a million years of peace, now you should welcome a thousand years of despair~”
The animal-hide wearing old man mumbled in a cold icy voice as his eyes gleamed in ferocity, much like that of a wolf eyeing his prey!
