“This restaurant is considered the best you can find in this city, as it was built by one of the famous Superhumans in this place. It’s well known by its good but expensive food and reputation la.” Ye Shishi happily talk. Her mood is good and friendly the moment she had heard that Allen’s surname was also a Ye just like her.
It felt as if they were familiar with each other.
“Hm.”
“Ah, what I mean about Superhumans is that…”
The girl, Ye Shishi awkwardly explained when she noticed Allen’s uninterested response.
She thought that he didn’t know about the existence of such people because of his lack of interest. However, Allen cut off as he shook his head slowly.
“Ah, I know about them.”
“Oh…”
Allen gave a half-smile wondering if he did something wrong.
Upon entering the restaurant, they approached the reception desk. Looking first at the girl then Allen, the man in front of the desk asked, “Do you have any reservations?”
“Unfortunately, we don’t have, it’s my first time here…”
“Is that so…”
Hearing Allen’s answer, the man walks out from the desk and stand in front of them. With a smile, he respectfully said, “Well, then please allow me to guide you to a table.”
He said with a typical Chinese accent and bowed to his at the hip.
“This way to your table please.” The waiter said and turned to stride purposefully into the dining rooms with a wine list in hand.
“Okay…”
Allen followed but he suddenly stopped as he looked at him. Ye Shishi was looking at him without any intention of following.
“Mr. Ye, I should now leave la. Please enjoy your stay la.” She said as she turned around.
“Wait,” Allen called out. “… why don’t you join me for dinner… as thanks?”
“Yes?” Ye Shishi was momentarily shocked. “You don’t need to…”
“Nah, it’s no problem,” Allen said, then held her hand, not giving her the chance to reject him.
Ye Shishi looked at Allen’s hand, her face reddened.
Allen and Ye Shishi were led to a mostly unoccupied section of the dining area.
A wall separated this room from the main dining area.
Heavy looking velvet draperies crossed the open doorway blocking the view and nearly all of the sound from that part of the restaurant.
As they took their seats in a cozy booth, Allen glanced around and took notice that this room was much quieter.
“This is quite expensive looking place…”
“Nah, this is our private booth, specially built for couples.” The waiter flashed a knowing smile causing Ye Shishi to hang her head down in embarrassment.
“Is that so…” Allen magnificently ignored the atmosphere. “But, I wonder what kind of currency does this place accept?”
Right now, Allen has a master card, black card given by Mia for him to use whenever it was necessary. But, in this age, although money is still acceptable, there are also other ways to pay.
“Ahm, you don’t know about… Heninbi…sir?” The waiter asked doubtfully.
“Heninbi?”
Looking at Allen at lost, Ye Shishi suddenly realized something. She stood up and scooted around to his side of the booth.
She then leaned in Allen’s ear and whispered, “Heninbi, it’s a kind of currency issued in this place la. It’s issued by a group currently ruling this place for comfortable trading. You can receive them by exchanging monster parts, core or silver crystals.”
Ah, is that so! Allen immediately understands.
So people here sold things in exchange for Heninbi and used this as a currency. What a smart way of organizing things!
But even so, Allen’s brows tightened. So he couldn’t use money here…
“I didn’t know about this so I don’t have any… but do you accept monster cores as payment?”
“… Of course!” The waiter was taken aback by Allen’s words but he immediately regained his senses.
“You have a monster core la?” Ye Shishi asked in surprise. She knows that monster cores could only be acquired after killing a very strong monster that could easily kill a whole platoon of trained soldiers.
Because of this, monster cores are rarely seen in public and were only in higher ranked people’s hands.
But Allen has monster cores, in other words, he had managed to kill a monster like that… alone? That sounds impossible.
Allen smiled faintly. “So what can I afford in one monster core?”
Of course, not just one but two actually. Aside from Mia’s present whom he had already consumed, he had met two Lv5 and above monster along the way and killed it.
“For one monster core,” The waiter ponder for a while, “… you could buy at least three sets of the most expensive dish from our restaurant.”

“Is that so,” Allen nodded his head in understanding.
“What do you want to eat? Order anything you want.” Allen said to Ye Shishi as he gave the menu to her.
“Anything is fine la, you order.”
“How can that be, go on, you don’t need to be casual,” Allen said, determined to have her order.
Ye Shishi unable to persuade him ordered the cheapest Chinese dish.
Allen, however, knew that she was looking out for him and might be thinking about his money issues so he ignored it and ordered another else.
An expensive Chinese dish for her; Sweet and Sour pork and Chinese Scissor Crab-- A dish made from a monster called Scissor Crab that inhabits a river not so far away from this place.
It was quite a strong monster and the weakest was at least at Lv2.
In fact, along with the way here, it was one of the monsters he had eaten by roasting it in the fire. Although not as good it’s still fine.
Ye Shishi hurriedly splayed her hands and said: “There’s no need to order that la, it’s quite expensive.”
But Allen ignored her complaints and said, “It’s my treat and thanks.”
“No, actually you don’t need to la. I-”
“Quiet.” Before she could finish her words, she was cut-off by Allen’s rough yet gentle tone.
“You're being treated, so stop babbling! Just accept it and eat.” Allen playfully said. His lips turned into a mischievous smile.
Ye Shishi was mind blown. Who would say something like that? She looked like she’s not being treated anymore, but instead, she’s being forced.
Looking at them, the waiter let out a faint smile.
“Umm, I think I’ll have beef lasagne with meat sauce. I prefer white wine but I’ll have a glass of Zinfandel to keep it proper.”
Although Allen didn’t dislike Chinese foods, he prefers western ones.
Chinese foods have the tendency that no matter how much you eat you feel hungry an hour later - though this actually depends on the food or the people.
However, Allen was used to eating western foods rather than those Chinese ones and although he knew how to use chopsticks, he prefers spoon and fork.
That is why, seeing that the menu had some western foods, he choose it without hesitation.
Allen raised his head and looked at the waiter. “I don’t know much about wine but I do know red goes with meat dishes and white with fish. Beyond that, I know what my taste buds tell me.”
“A sensible choice… sir.” The waiter smiled professionally. He then turned and left to take their choice to the kitchen.
“You’re rather used to places like this la?” Ye Shishi asked curiously while watching Allen’s nonchalant behavior.
“Well, I had gone to few places like this in Europe and Italy.”
“Oh,” Ye Shishi exclaimed in admiration. Now she’s certain, Allen came from a prestigious family.
She didn’t know, Allen was actually talking about his time in another world. When he was still wandering alone where the wind blows him to.
He crossed oceans and went to Venice, Italy, Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia and much more… although all of them were already changed into a new shape.
That was only stopped when the Demon King army appeared and he met Mia and the others and was invited to the [ Dawn Alliance ].

The restaurant didn’t keep their customers waiting for long. After a short while, the waiter returned with their wine and salads and left again.
Allen took the spoon and started eating. Ye Shishi followed after him.
The entire dinner went smoothly and quietly. Seeing that Allen didn’t speak anything, Ye Shishi also kept her silence and quietly ate her food.
This was the very first time she had eaten something like this in her entire life. This place was known for its expensive foods and only high ranking and wealthy people entered this place.
But now, she was actually eating here and what’s more? She’s eating one of the best dishes this restaurant serves.
Ye Shishi really couldn’t believe it. This moment seems like a dream.
Date. She thought. It’s almost like a date… though it’s with someone whom she just met a while ago.
Ye Shishi was feeling incomparably sweet but also incomparably conflicted. She doesn’t know anything about Allen but she was already on a date (?) with him. Oh, my god!?
Although she had already realized that the world has really gone crazy but she never thought that it would be as crazy as this!?
Stop! She admonishes herself. Stop thinking strange things! This is only a treat for thanks!
This was certainly a blissful and romantic moment for her life.
However, this was suddenly destroyed in an instant.
A short moment later since they had started eating, a group of three suddenly appeared not too far from their location.
They walked straight towards Allen and Ye Shishi’s table and shamelessly sat down at the next empty table.
Then one of the men said, “Hey, mind if we disturb your little date for a moment?”
The voice was rough and held a bit of provocation.
Ye Shishi’s body jerked for a moment before raising her head. Looking at the men, she noticed that they were all wearing a badge with a head of a dragon spewing fire engraved on it and under the image was a Chinese character for Dragon [龙 ] (Long)
Superhumans!
Ye Shishi recognized this badge. It means that the people wearing it was part of a group named [ Dragon ] and its members were all Superhumans.
So the three men that just arrived were all Superhumans!
Allen put down his spoon and looked at the three men. His face was smiling but Ye Shishi felt chill crawling on her body.
“Can’t you see that I’m eating here?” Allen's voice was cold.
The man in front of Allen and seemed to be the leader of the three, started dead straight at Allen, his eyes seeming as if they might spew out a fire.
He had already heard about the appearance of a new Superhuman that was brought here by some group of soldiers from hunting and when he saw Allen just now, he already knows that it was him. Just from the clothes, he was wearing he already knows it was him. No one would wear a parka in this kind of season.
But what perplexed him was,
From the beginning to the end he could not see through Allen’s strength. From his appearance, Allen appeared to be a normal human, but something was creeping inside of him and telling him that he was dangerous. Because of this, he did not dare treat Allen as a normal human.
At first, he has no interest in Allen but when he heard about the existence of the monster core, his interest was picked.
Monster cores are valuable. Although he doesn’t know how Allen managed to get it, how strong could he be…?
In this city, they are the law!
Superhumans are the heroes of the people that is why, no matter what he wants he could get it and no one would complain!
And now he wants a monster core!
“I apologize for being rude but can I see your monster core?”
If it was an earth type monster core then he would take it.
But Allen didn’t care the least bit about him.
“And if I don’t?”
“Hey boy, we are asking for your monster core, nicely, you know.” Another man said with a mocking tone.
He suddenly disappeared and then reappeared behind Ye Shishi.
“… so you better be obedient or else you would regret it”
“Hiii!!” Ye Shishi was surprised and shriek in horror. A hand suddenly appeared on her neck and circled it.
Looking at this Allen’s brow twitched. “Take those hands of yours away that is, if you still want your hand.”
At this moment, the atmosphere immediately changed. A spark flashed in Allen’s eyes.
“Fang Xi, stop playing. We don’t do those kinds of things…” Seeing Allen’s changes, the leader suddenly felt danger. But he brushed it away.
He was a prideful man. He doesn’t like showing any kind of weakness.
“But captain.”
“Fang Xi.”
“Fine, fine…” The man named Fang Xi cockily shrugged his shoulders before vanishing and then reappearing again on his former position. He looked so irritatingly smug.
“Hey, boy I just want to see what kind of element does you monster core possess. If it’s what I want, I could exchange it for something…”
Allen didn’t like them so he just casually said, “No thank you.” Before picking his spoon again.
Without caring about them, he started eating.
“You Bit-!”
The man named Fang Xi was displeased by Allen’s actions and stepped forward, however, before he could, he suddenly saw a flash and then Allen disappeared from his seat.
“Wha-!?”
“You’re so annoying…”
Suddenly, Fang Xi’s heart jumped and he quickly turned around. However, it was too late as a fist struck him from the back, easily sending him flying out of the place.
Tang Xi was helpless as he flew out like a cannonball crashing to several tables before slamming into a wall.
The people present were dumbstruck while looking at the man stuck on the wall with only his feet sticking out.
The speed and power, by which Allen had suddenly burst forth with, shocked all of the onlookers.
Allen dusted his hands and nonchalantly walked back to his seat but then suddenly he felt someone above him.
Slash!
