Chapter 746: [Allen Vs Icefyre (3)]
From the ink-like shadow beneath him, a pair of red gleams appeared.
No, not just one pair but two, three, dozen, and even more as if they are increasing in number like countless Christmas lights that had been turned on. Then, when those sharply pointed icicles were about to fall at Allen’s head, an enormous bone hand suddenly appeared from the pool of black shadows, covering him like an umbrella.
The sharp icicles struck the back of the bone hand, but they were immediately broken into a thousand pieces. Then, another one appeared from the other side and completely engulfed Allen’s body within the large pair of bone hands.
Roooooooaaaaarrr!!!
A deafening roar echoed.
The winter world shook.
Countless explosions followed as the attacks of the monsters surrounding the area finally arrived. Smoke billows and even the thunder clouds slowly dispersed.
The flying monsters floated in the air, staring at the clouds of smoke while the ones in the ground slowly crept towards the location. They stared at each other, caution and anxiety appeared flashing across their eyes. They stared at each other for a while before seemingly decided to check things out. Which, is actually the worst decision—
Just as they reached a few meters away from the edge of the thick clouds-
Fwooosh.
A massive skeleton hand reach out and grabbed the nearest Ice Dragon. The Dragons were startled but before they could react, the Ice Dragon caught by the skeleton hand was squashed like a tomato. Blood spurted like a fountain, appearing extremely conspicuous in the clean white background.
“Gashadokuro, I told you, I need them intact. They’re good materials,”
An indifferent voice rang out.
“Kekeke, if master ...wills it, I... do... what... you wish, kekeke,”
From within the thick fog, a massive giant, an over twenty-meter tall Skeleton came out. On its eye sockets were two to three-meter sized eyeballs, rolling and rotating. Sitting leisurely on its left shoulder was a black-clothed youth with snow-white hair and red eyes. It was none other than Allen.
{Gashadokuro} - a monster infamous from Japanese Mythology as a gigantic skeleton, known for its habit of roaming around the streets after midnight and bites off the heads of anyone unlucky enough to get in its way.
Allen created this monster personally from the remains of the {Magma Tyrannous} that he had encountered at the Dungeon of Romeia. Although this monster was quite stupid, just like other creations, it was actually quite loyal towards him. Not to mention, though slow, its strength is excellent, and even its durability was beyond normal monsters, that even great Dragons would be ashamed.
Wooooo-!!
Gashadokuro’s arm swung towards the left, slapping the monsters flying in the sky as if swatting flies. Some were hit but most were able to evade it. Although Gashadokuro was strong, his speed and agility were the worst among his creations. In just a few seconds, Gashadokuro was besieged by attacks from every direction. Still, one of Gashadokuro’s strength is not just physical power but also durability and immortality…!
As long as there is a bone in his body, he will never die…!
Gashadokuro felt mosquitoes biting him. However, not one attack hit Allen as all the defense of Gashadokuro was centered on its master.
“A big guy, but a waste!”
Icefyre who was watching the situation sneered in contempt.
Although Gashdokuro is strong, he has a very obvious weakness.
But Allen remain unperturbed.
He smiled.
“Is that so?” despite having hundreds of meters away from Icefyre, Allen can still hear him clearly.
“Then, why don’t you look around?”
“What-?!”
Icefyre’s eyes widened in shock.
When he turned around him, his face immediately paled.
Monsters were dying one by one, slaughtered and killed by strange monsters that he didn’t remember seeing before.
Monsters that look like beasts were countless; there were also humanoid monsters and the like. If one looks closely, there are monsters among the group like the infamous; Yuki-onna (Snow woman), Shuten Dōji, Yamauba or (Mountain ogress), Tengu. Nekomata, Namahage, and still many more strange demons and monsters were running about everywhere, killing and rampaging.
It was like a nightmare that came out from piled-up horror books that originated from every part of the world, gathered in one place. It's a Monster Festival.
“What is going on here?!”
Icefyre exclaimed in terror.
Just what the hell are those monsters?!
Most of them were even those that he had never seen before!

The Humanoid Dragon's face becomes even paler and his body started shivering.
“Welcome to my parade, Icefyre.”
Allen’s answer to his absent-minded question.
“Welcome to my Hundred Demons Parade…”
He grinned coldly.
When the smoke and snow faded completely, what had appeared in everyone’s eyes was a horror that one would never forget.
Strange monsters and beasts appeared out of nowhere and slaughtered the ice monsters in the field. Individually, their powers were slightly inferior to the Ice Demons and Monsters under Icefyre but their persistence was terrifying.
No matter how many wounds and how fatal their injuries were, they keep on coming and attacking relentlessly.
It’s as if death is a form of honor for them.
Courageous, yet cruel without fear.
There were even Giants, Aeternae, Arachne, Arae, Catoblepas, and still, many more monsters heard and found in Greek Mythology appeared on the battlefield wreaking havoc. Of course, not only Greek but also those found in different mythologies, including Japanese and Chinese Myth. Their varied appearance made a striking appearance from Ice-type monsters and dragons that inhabits this world.
“How, How is this possible?!”
The slaughter of the monsters below him seriously affected Icefyre and all the remaining subordinates alive.
Allen stared at Icefyre’s terrified expression and couldn’t help but feel amused.
These monsters are the products of his [Monster Creator] power bestowed by Cerberus. And along with his former [Creation] ability, he was able to create monsters he wanted and designed much easier than before. And these monsters are the first experimentation product he had made. Though some of them were actually a failure, some even have loyalty so low they would attack anyone who appears before them. But letting them loose in this kind of place still gave them uses.
The Ice Dragons morale fell.
The crawling Ice Bears and Frost Spiders had the urge to escape.
As for the lower level creatures, they simply betrayed and run away without a care. With their low level of intelligence, it definitely would not follow a weakling that was on the verge of death. Moreover, they are simply not the type to be loyal to their masters; they are demons and monsters who only follow their instinct!
The weakest ones jumped out of the hole on the snowy ground to hide. Unfortunately, the ground was no longer safe. Cyndaquil, Quilava, Slugma, even DemiMeramon, Flarerizamon, and the other fire-type monsters are already waiting for them.
What greeted them the moment they thought of diving underground to escape were blazing flames, burning them to death.
Booom! Baaang! Boom!
Along with Gashadokuro, other giants and giant monsters wreak havoc in the Winter Hall, causing Icefyre to feel horrified!
Their powers are beyond one could imagine—and now, all this in the hand of a single man.
“How is this possible!! How could you be so powerful!!?”
Icefyre cried out crazily, his eyes turned blood red in anger and jealousy.
“How? Bingo. That’s a nice question…”
Allen slowly stood up on Gashadokuro’s shoulder and stared at Icefyre. A mocking expression appeared in his eyes.
“It is quite a pickle actually, no doubt about it. The bad news is that there's no way you will know if you are strong or not, neither how you have become really strong nor how you will become strong. In an actual sense, it's really up to you. Just have to make up your own damn mind to either become strong or not, and to do that, you will then know that you are when it’s the only choice you have.”
“… ?!”
“Just like you Icefyre. You are strong, stronger than these monsters here…then, you can answer your own question. How could you be so powerful than them?”
Allen pointed at him. Then, he shrugs; “Unfortunately, at this moment, you stand against me, not them. Because of that, you finally realized, your cards still lacking, buddy… your strength is actually not enough. But regret always comes in the end. Now, it's checkmate because I’m stronger than you…”
After Allen finished talking, his body flashed and he had disappeared.
Icefyre’s expression paled and he hurriedly turned around to run.
However, at this moment—
A deafening screech tore through the air.
Great peels of thunder roared before the Ice Dragon, as behind him there appeared a black figure. Icefyre’s face was full of panic.
A hand raced towards him, reaching with tearing fingers for his eight crystal wings.
… …
Booooom!
Blinding flashes of electric light preceded Icefyre’s inelegant tumble forward as the glittering hand found its mark.
Blood spurted as the hand grabbed a pair of wings and as if plucking feathers on a chicken, pulled the wings from his back.
“Gyaaaaaaaahhhh!!!”
A horrified painful scream echoed in the entire winter world.
The battlefield seemed to have stopped as all of the attention of the monsters focused towards the two masters above them.
They saw the Ice Dragon whose wings were plucked and back spurting with blood, curled and started falling towards the ground. Though before that, sharp ice spears shot from the Ice Dragon’s back, flying towards the black figure behind him.
These Ice Spears are different compared to the ones created by Ice Dragons. The moment it hit its target, a soul fire would burn and trap the victim to eternal imprisonment in a coffin of ice—even Gods would be unable to breakthrough. It’s a curse!
As the Ice Spears were about to strike him, a flash overtook Allen’s body and he vanished. He reappeared in the air a short distance away, covered in bluish-white flames. The Ice spears had missed him but their aura still affected him since he was just too close. Even still, little by little the soul fire burning his right hand, died away as lightning and bluish-white colored flames covered his body, seemingly protecting him.
In addition, Allen’s body was an anti-curse body due to him being the Wise King Solomon. A mere curse would never affect him and with the purification of the Ice Phoenix, Icefyre’s curse would not do anything to him. Still, not like he would let himself get hit though…
“Aaaaahhhh!!!”
Icefyre roared while vomiting a mouthful of blood one after another. He gritted his teeth and ice slowly crawled on his scales, covering the wounds on his back. After a few minutes, Icefyre slowly recovered and the snaking bolts of lightning that had been coiling around him were swept away by the frost aura he was emitting. Shock and confusion were behind those flaming eyes.
“That speed…”
It was much faster than before…!
Just how did he do that?!
He had already transcended Godspeed!
No ordinary power had produced that speed, or else he wouldn’t have lost the Spirit of the Wind’s hold. It was as though Allen simply tore apart space to appear elsewhere, folded reality. Whatever it was, it didn’t fall under the domain of the power of speed.
Meeting his hate-filled eyes, Allen glared icicles at Icefyre.
“How is it? A bird falling to the sky…a once-mighty fell in ruin…”
“You Bastard!!”
“Now you know what true power is?”
Allen’s arms raised slowly on either side of his body. Slowly the golden bolts of lightning around him vanished, but with each passing second his body grew more and more luminous. He showed with a glaring, white-hot splendor.
“It ends right here… Icefyre. I have an appointment I cannot miss,”
Allen grinned.
“You bastard!!!!!”
Icefyre beat his remaining six crystal wings in desperation, launching him forward. His sharp claws stretched forth towards Allen as the air around the Ice Dragon shimmered with ghostly shadows. As he drew closer, the shadows became great whirling tornadoes of Cold light that filled the skies, threatening to devour his opponent.
