“Ugh.”
The wind began to grow colder and fierce as if it was expressing to her not to be satisfied with just this…
Carrying the basket filled with fruits, suddenly
“Oh, Miss Lieri!”
A relieved voice called out to Lieri and stopped her from leaving.
Turning to its source, Lieri saw a youth in his teens jogging toward her.
If she remembered correctly, the youth was the new guard of the Mansion. She did not remember the youth’s name, but she was sure of this.
“Did something happen?”
“Um, yes ma’am. Actually, I was at a bit of a loss…”
“About what?”
“I’m on guard duty at the gates today, and a little girl that I’ve never seen before was adamant on entering the Mansion. And, I didn’t know what to do…… She wouldn’t give me her name,” said the young guard, who brought the matter to Lieri’s attention with large gestures while still wearing full armor.
This kind of fashion had already become normal in this city, Mia named Italica.
Armors and weapons straight out from medieval period but since they give extra power compared to normal weapons, they were more preferred by people or Superhumans.
“Did you ask why she wanted to enter?”
The young guard nodded his head. “She said she was looking for someone…”
Lafetti frowned and so she decided to deal with it herself.
--- ---
An angel stood before the Mansion’s gates.
It was a ridiculous expression, but it had undoubtedly been the first thing that Lieri had thought when she laid eyes on her. The girl before her was simply that beautiful.
She was probably 8–10 years old. She was enveloped by a mysterious and yet intelligent aura around her.
Her long, straight, black hair reached down to her waist. Her large, sapphire eyes grew steadily darker inwards from the outer edges of her iris to her pupils like a gradation.
And if one looks closely, one could find a pair of long pointed ears at each side of her head.
No matter how you looked at it, she was not a normal human.
Is she an Elf…?
But from her dark-colored skin, she must be a Dark Elf.
Did she come here because of the Elf Queen?
“Hello,” For now, Lieri tried greeting her.
“Hi,” The beauty with gentle—but strikingly handsome, features looked up at Lieri and showed a dashing smile.
She was rather mild-mannered, which was rare for a child of her age – wait, where did she saw this kind of expression? Seeing her expression, something tugged at the edges of Lieri’s memory.
She looks extremely familiar for some reason… does she know her from somewhere?
But Lieri can’t remember where or when did she meet this kind of mysterious child.
“I heard you’re looking for someone here…”
The beautiful child happily nodded.
“Can you tell this big sister who you’re looking for?” Lieri asked gently, Curiosity and Interest slowly growing inside of her.

“… Or perhaps are you looking for the Elf Queen?”
But the beautiful child shook her head, then answered, “I’m looking for my father…”
Lieri was startled. “Oh?!” “May I know who your father is then? I probably can help…”
The silence that followed this question was longer than the previous one had been.
The beautiful child looked down for a moment, hesitating, probably thinking if she can tell Lieri the truth or not.
The guards standing behind Lieri exchanged nervous glances between each other, wondering just who was the little girl.
“Don’t worry; I’m not a bad person,” Lieri said as she started stroking her long glossy hair. “I can help you find your father, immediately if you wanted…”
“Un,” The Little girl finally nodded her head. “Mother said that people here are Father’s friends…”
Friends…? Lieri frowned while trying her hardest to recall who can give birth to such beautiful daughter – and most of all, it’s a Dark Elf…
“… My father’s name is Allen, Full name Allen Bando.” The little girl said happily that a pair of dimples could be seen from her face… she looks extremely angelic. “I heard from my mother that father is here, I want to see him…” Her voice so soft, gentle and innocent.
“I see, Allen…… so you are Allen’s daughter…… Allen, Allen, wait, whaaaaaat?!”
Lieri startled herself after repeating Allen’s name after her. Suffice to say, she was utterly astonished.
Lieri felt her heart was being pulled out of her chest from shock.
What did she say!? She’s Allen’s daughter!!!!?
Ignoring Lieri’s surprise, the little girl asked with an innocent smile, “Is father here?”
--- ---
The little girl was named Ciel Flare Bando.
She took her father’s surname while Flare was her mother’s.
Mia, Flor, Lieri, Alicia, Ye Yuesheng, Xia Yi, Jira, Stella, Garth and Leo, all of them were currently sitting inside Mia’s study room.
Just a while ago, Lieri burst inside Mia’s study room extremely distressed and panic to the point that she had forgotten etiquette of knocking the door before entering – she literally kicked the door open surprising Mia.
She was carrying a small beautiful child by the name Ciel Flare Bando, which turned out to be ( self-proclaimed ) Allen’s daughter. Learning the little girl’s identity, Mia’s mind instantly blanked out and she immediately ignored her current work.
Fortunately, Allen’s clone wasn’t present since he was playing house with Celty – I guess her craziness sometimes helps.
It’s not like she doesn’t want to tell Allen about Ciel’s existence, however, before she could do that, Mia wanted to confirm Ciel’s identity first. There are just too many doubtful edges about her claim.
Mia called her parents for help but for some reason when Lieri came back, it wasn’t only her parents that had appeared.
As for Ciel, she was currently happily eating cakes and candies while sitting on Mia’s lap. She looks so adorable and beautiful that the moment the people saw her they were immediately smitten.
“Is that brother’s daughter?” Garth asked curiously.
“Oh my god, she’s so cute…” Stella immediately approached her. “Hey, Ciel, my name’s Stella, I’m your father’s little sister so you need to call me little aunt,”
“Father?” Ciel ate the munchkins like a small hamster and tilted her head.
“So cute,” Stella spread her arms and took her from Mia. Ciel turned her head and looked at Mia as if she was looking for permission.
Mia gently rubbed the icings on the corner of her lips and smiled, “Go on,”
“Kyaaah!! So cute! Ciel is so beautiful!!” Stella didn’t mind the icings and chocolate that had landed on her cheeks and clothes as she carried Ciel while dancing around.
“But Mia, is she really Allen’s daughter?” Xia Yi asked, curiously.
“That’s the problem, mom…” Mia smiled bitterly. “I don’t know yet…”
“Why don’t you try asking Allen,” Jira suggested. “If one looks closely, she really has Allen’s eyes…”
Mia nodded. That was also what she had noticed. However, “I think Allen also doesn’t know about Ciel,”
“How would you know?” Ye Yuesheng joined in the conversation.
“Because if Allen knows it, he would have told me already…” Mia replied. “Besides, Ciel’s age is extremely strange. She looked like a Dark Elf, however, Fantasial Apocalypse had only started for only less than a year… if Allen met a dark Elf at this period, even if they give birth to a child, it should only be a less than a year old baby, not almost eight or nine years old like her…”
“Now that you mention it, yes, that’s impossible…” Xia Yi nodded in understanding. “Then, who’s this child then…?”
All the eyes turned towards Ciel who was happily eating cakes while being played by Garth, Stella, and Flor.
“Ciel, dear…” Xia Yi stood up and with a smile. She approached Ciel and took her from Stella. “What’s your mother’s name?”
“Mother?”
“That’s right… can you tell this aunt your mother’s name…”
“Un,” Ciel happily nodded. “My Mother’s name is Eliade Flare,”
“Eliade…” Not only Xia Yi but also, Mia, Lieri and Ye Yueshing repeated that name. But they never heard of that name before.
“Where’s your mother, dear?” Xia Yi asked again.
“Mother is busy so Ciel went out to look for father alone…” Ciel answered.
“How did you know your father’s name and he’s here?”
“Mom!!” Mia was startled by Xia Yi’s question. Isn’t that already overboard? She’s just a child!
What if she felt hurt from being questioned?!
But Ciel seems to have not minded it, or probably she didn’t notice and answered while showing a proud expression as if she had done something amazing. “I overheard Mommy and Aunt Ava talking about father. When I ask mommy to find father, mommy said she’s busy and she will find father when she’s not… so I decided to go out and find father alone!”
“I missed father…” Ciel’s expression fell.
“Ava!?” Mia and the others were startled from hearing an unexpected name.
“Mia, I think you really need to call Allen now,” Jira finally said. “Probably he knows about this Eliade…”
Mia sighed and nodded.
Lieri then immediately went out.
