Chapter 656: [I will wait for it!]
“…Hel’s words, don’t tell me you don’t know who she is? You come here because of her, didn’t you?!”
The God Tyr’s expression turned severe.
“…talking to you is meaningless, old codger. You have gone senile, indeed. You should have realized that rather than fighting me, protecting Asgard from the Demon Legion is much more important at the moment. However, can’t help, Gods like you always remain the same. No matter how much time passed, how many centuries passed, all of you stays the same. All too narrow-minded—!”
“…I will make that judgment myself after I see through you completely!”
The God Tyr sneered.
Allen shot a deadly stare at the God Tyr and said, “Then watch it with your old eyes…old man!”
A severely cold wind arose from his hands as he rushed towards the God Tyr.
Rumble…! A large amount of earth elemental energy immediately solidified, and the body of the God Tyr became covered with a sparkling earthen armor. The cold icy wind struck the armor but it didn’t even leave a scratch on the surface of the armor. One…two…four…and dozens of chilling cold winds struck he God Tyr. However, not a scratch still appeared.
“…You frost giants, return to your world! Or else you will be brought down by me for JUSTICEEE!!”
The God Tyr kicked off the air powerful enough to cause a massive sonic boom that had blown all the monsters and demons behind him, charging forward while smashing towards Allen with his sword. The sun reflected off of his sparkling earthen armor in a dazzling manner and the sword he held on his hand actually transformed into the head of a vicious wolf which opened its mouth and bit downwards.
Wooooohhh—!!
The vicious wolf actually let out a howling sound. Allen’s face changed. He wanted to retreat, but Tyr had actually utilized his Domain. As a God, Tyr’s domain had caused Allen’s speed to drop dramatically. Allen’s body and soul felt a lagged and his strength’s seemed to have seeped away for some unknown reason.
Baaaang!! Frosmourne clashed against that vicious wolf’s head. However, the power behind Allen’s attack was instantly overwhelmed. He was then sent blasting backward like a sandbag. With a ‘boom’, he smashed viciously into the ground just like a meteorite, sending rocks and dirt spraying everywhere. The Ice that had covered him in the nick of the time to protect him was shattered in an instant. And under the light of the sun, the shattered ice that looks like pieces of glass flying everywhere seemed like sparkling jewels.
“Hey, that’s way too weak.” Tyr shook his head. “Býleistr, you’ve become too weak it seems!”
Booom!! Allen erupted out from the surface of the crater, then landed on the ground. Staring at Tyr, he said with a grim, “Wargod’s domain…manipulation of conflict!? You are one terrible senile old man!”
Allen frowned as he felt his body and mind separated for a while in that instant. Because this body is not his own, even if he had absorbed the wisp of soul ‘Allen’ left on his clones, he was still not the real owner of this body—and so, with Tyr’s power, he caused a conflict to appear between his soul and body—
Although, he might want to achieve something else, such as controlling and manipulations his emotions and feelings of rage and anger but this also caused a not-so-little effect on him.
“You have a very distasteful hobby, don't you, old codger?”
“Hmph! Don’t be so naïve, in war—there is nothing fair or unfair, all there is... is true Justice!”
The God Tyr snorted.
“…so be it!” Allen gritted his teeth and the ground started to become encased in ice as it runs towards the God Tyr’s direction.
Baaang! Crack! Crasssh! sparks appeared between them as two clear fields appeared on each side of the clash. One was frozen hell while the other was cracked earth with distorted space. Both invoke their domains, clashing against each other, wanting to overwhelm the enemy.
However, if one looks from the outside, Allen was on the disadvantage.
The frozen world was slowly being pushed back.
“Tsk!” Allen clicked his tongue.
There’s a limit as to how much power he could release in this kind of body. And this annoyed him. Just what kind of misfortune did he have to be subjected to this kind of idiocy?! As he cursed himself for being unlucky, his enchanting icy blue eyes gleamed sharply, and then weapons of all shapes and assortments materialized behind him.
Some weapons were extravagant, some looked plain and ordinary, some seemed obviously sharp, while others were filled with killing intent...
The numbers continuously increased to the point where it was difficult to count!
The God Tyr was astonished at this.
What... the hell was this!?
"…taste this, you old bastard!!’"
Allen muttered coldly as he pointed with his finger.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
The countless sharp and mystical weapons were sent flying towards the God Tyr like a torrential downpour!
The God Tyr frowned and a translucent barrier appeared around him. But those weapons flying at him were far more powerful than he anticipated. His barrier only lasted a few seconds before it was on the verge of collapsing. The excess weapons which had either been repelled or passed through God’s Tyr’s barrier went passed him and wreaked havoc around them.
Elena and the others immediately defended themselves from being collateral friendly damage. However, among the monsters and demons that were skewered by the weapons, there were also those Godclan’s that were unluckily caught up by the storm and suffered wounds and injuries. Fortunately, they were no casualties…
However, because of the battlefield between the two monsters expanded, whether it was the God Clan or the Monsters—both sides were terrified and hurriedly halted their battles and retreated, in fear of being caught up in the clash of these two monsters. Aside from the powerful personas, weaker monster monsters and demons started retreating from the battlefield.
Swish!!! An astonishing crimson sword aura suddenly appeared, scraping directly towards Allen. Allen, a bit shocked, immediately retreated at high speed, Frostmourne immediately appearing in his hand. Claaaaang!! The crimson sword and the Frostmourne intersected.
Baaaaaang!!
Even the rocky ground or the entire Asgard City shuddered, and a storm of energy blasted in every direction, breaking apart large amounts of stone.
“Frosssst Giaaaaaant!!!”
An enormous golden sword flashed and the God Tyr slashed down towards Allen.
Allen’s eyes narrowed from the light. However, he himself was very calm. the Frostmourne, in his hand, suddenly transformed into ten million devilish flashes of white cold chilling light. Everywhere the flashes appeared, blurry folds in space could be seen, while at the same time, the snow white flashes of cold light all bizarrely coiled and snaked their way forward in a very peculiar pattern as they stabbed towards one spot.
World Freezing!
The humungous golden sword charging towards him suddenly dropped dramatically in speed, as though they were traveling through the mud. As for Allen’s ten million sword flashes, they actually converged on one spot, uniting into one indistinct, heart-stopping snow white chilling cold light. This snow -white light was like a comet charging straight ahead, utterly unblockable.
Boooooom!!! The snow-white sword light charged forwards, and the golden sword instantly crumbled and shattered, with countless shockwave and explosion was sent flying everywhere. Allen felt his body trembled as blood seeped out from every pore of his body. Even his eyes were dyed by crimson as blood started falling on his cheeks, like tears of blood. His face turning extremely horrible due to the blood almost covering half of his face, but his expression was still indifferent as if the pain was non-existent.
Slash! the excess power from the clash caused a large crevice on the space itself to split open within it, while at the same time, the sword energies blur carried what seemed like countless wind blades, charging downwards towards the sea like thousands of soldiers in an army.
BOOOM!!
The ground rumbled the entire Asgard shook, and instantly, the ground beneath that point for hundreds of meters around turned into a massive hole that was dozens of meters deep.
When smoke, mist, and dust covered the surrounding, “Old Codger!” a voice rang out, and a figure suddenly appeared in front of the God Tyr. His entire body was covered with azure-colored draconic scales. Beneath the dazzling light of the Sun, he was very eye-catching. Those two ocean colored eyes stared at the Ancient God, with a solemn and serious expression. His wounds slowly healed under the Dragon Transformation.
Unlike ‘Allen’s draconic transformation which has black and crimson scales, Allen’s appearance was that of a pure water dragon with azure-colored scales—Leviathan. Even his ears appeared like a webbed fin of a fish and his eyes appeared sky blue with slitted pupils. Though, with only the small fraction of power of the Leviathan within the Clone's body, he can only be classified as a normal Water Dragon.
The God Tyr’s eyes narrowed in surprise.
Dragon?! A Frost Giant having the power to transform into a Dragon? Just what kind of horrible existence had he turned into?
“Old God Tyr, today you must know what’s right or wrong. I don’t want to fight you.” Allen muttered coldly said. “However, if you push my hand, I will risk my body and make you suffer a life worse than death!”
He wasn’t completely certain of his ability to win this battle, but if he had to, Allen would use all his power he could muster and he would surely make this old senile pay the consequences of angering him. Just that, he was rather unwilling to.
God Tyr is a High God of the Norse Clan and he was also a necessary force for the God Clan’s victory over this war.
He didn’t want to affect that!
And also, if he and the God Tyr duke it out here and now, he would surely put the Balder Clan, Eerika’s clan in a very awkward position. It’s the last thing he wanted.
“… …” The God Tyr stared at Allen for a while. Then, his brows furrowed.
As he was about to respond, “Please, your majesty, please listen to us!” Elena suddenly appeared in front of Allen with wide open arms. Her expression was frantic and full of panic anxiety. “Please, Your majesty Tyr—this person, this person is not an enemy!”
“… Child of Asgard! Why are you protecting this rebel?!”
The God Tyr asked in a cold voice.
“Your Majesty Tyr, this person is…!”
“…this person is an enemy of Asgard! Why are you protecting him!?”
Allen frowned. He grasped Elena’s shoulder who was about to answer aside and faced the Wargod Tyr. “…Old codger, you have the right to want to kill me. Within my veins is the blood of an enemy of the Celestial Realm,” Elena was startled. She wanted to stop him from talking any further but Allen didn’t allow her. “…but I can’t die here!” he spoke strongly. “I have something I must protect! Even if it costs me my life.”
“…?!”
“If you’re determined to kill me because of my roots then, I would have no choice but to fight you!” Allen’s expression turned calm and solemn.
My existence is an unwelcome existence; he knows that far better in this world. His ‘death’ had come faster than he imagined. Whether he liked it or not, but he was being strangled by the thread of destiny spun by someone other than him. He has no chance of going against it—but its fine.
He was the one who hoped for it!
He decided and chose it!
This accursed destiny…it was him alone who had chosen to bear it…!
Elena gritted her teeth and suddenly kneeled in front of the God Tyr. “Your Majesty God Tyr! Please listen to this lowly subject! This person is indeed not our enemy! He might have the blood of a demon flowing through him but he did not share the same wicked ambitions our enemy has. He is a good man, a good warrior—and a friend and benefactor of our Clan!”
“… …”
“Please God Tyr, I beseeched you to spare this person!” Elena cried out in desperation.
Allen stared at her and felt somewhat move. His lips curling upwards, revealing a gentle smile.
“…Býleistr, I know not what you’re planning but I will overlook it this time in the face of my precious children.” The God Tyr snorted and then turned around. “We will finish this once this situation subsides! Till then, you better be prepared! No matter what kind of lies you have woven, I will break you apart and send you to the deepest level of the Abyss, if you possess any kind of ill intent towards Asgard!” After speaking, his figure flickered and disappeared.
“…I will wait for it…”
Allen muttered softly as he looks at the battlefield below.
Because of their battle, the weaker demons and monsters had retreated in fear. However, it doesn’t mean the fight has ended. The high-level demons and monsters are still fighting the powerhouses and guardians of Asgard. Then, his face turned towards a certain direction, his eyes narrowed…
… …
