“Everyone, are you okay?” when the earth finally stopped shaking, Ms. Grace slowly stood up while looking around. Her face held some panic but she still held herself and stayed calm.
“Teacher, I’m fine.”
“Me too.”
“Just what was that? That was a strong earthquake, wasn’t it?”
… …
Noises filled with discussions rang out inside the room as every student talk about the earthquake that had happened.
“Keep quiet, everyone. Anyway, there might be some aftershock so we need to go out h---“
“Ms. Grace, I advise you not to go out.”
“Mr. B…Bando?” Ms. Grace was surprised because she was unexpectedly cut off by Allen.
But when she looks at him, she noticed the serious expression he was wearing and caused her to forget what she wanted to say.
“Ms. Grace, get away from the door and come here right now.” Allen’s ordered in a serious tone.
“Oh my, so overprotective~”
“Shut up, Mia.”
Allen’s behavior caused a commotion. The students couldn’t help but frown at his overbearing attitude.
“Mr. Bando what are you talking about…?”
Allen didn’t reply but looked at Lieri. “Lieri, can you please pull her towards here?”
“As you wish young master Allen.” Without hesitation, Lieri does as he wanted and walked towards the bewildered teacher.
And then Allen looked at his classmates and said, “If you don’t want to die then get away from the door.”
“What?!” Most of the students were shock hearing Allen’s words. Die? Is he threatening them?
“What are y---” Someone who couldn’t take it anymore spoke up but he couldn’t finish what he was talking because suddenly the door was opened with a Bang!
Kyaah!!
Several students started screaming when they looked towards the opened door because in there appeared a figure.
Height that of a 10 years old child. Green skin, pointed ears, green slit eyes and long crooked nose. On its one hand was a short battered sword.
Yes, no matter who saw it as long they watch anime, movies or even heard stories then they would be able to call the name of the creature.
Goblin!
A live ugly goblin!
Kyah!
Kyaaaaaah!!!!!
No one knows who screamed first but it was followed by many people’s screams while trying to run away from the creature.
Gbluckk! The goblin looked around with sparkling eyes as if it was saying, ‘There are many delicious humans here!!’
However, it was doomed not to step inside because…
As he reacted to the noise, without no one noticing, Allen took an object out and aimed it at the ugly creature without hesitation and...
Bang bang bang.
And with that sound the entire room became quiet.
In a blink of an eye, there were three smoking holes in the goblin’s head. It then fell down, eyes wide open as if not realizing that it was already dead.
The classroom froze.
As if drawn by the sound, Mia and the other students’ gazes were drawn towards the youth. Their eyes were wide as it could be, as soon as they saw what he was holding.
Although they have never seen one in real life, they could still recognize it from movies, and pictures.
It was shiny and black with silver in color; its body shaped like an L and had a small hole at the very tip.
It was none other than a gun.
Kyaaaaahhhh!!! One of the girls started screaming as for the real reason no one knows. Was it because of the creature, the corpse or the gun?
There were even some who couldn’t help themselves but fell in their butts, knocking the desk and chair behind them.
“A headshot~ did you use a gun before?” Mia exclaimed in admiration. Although she ordered Lieri to give him a gun for self-defense, for him to use it so skillfully was really outside of her expectations.
This isn’t the same as from the other world.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Even Lieri who was pulling Ms. Grace towards them was also surprised. It was fast and done as if the one holding it was a veteran.
But that couldn’t be… isn’t it?
He was still what, 14, 15 years old?
Allen looked at his gun and then nodded his head. As expected, he seemed to still have the [ Equip ] skill!
But how? That shouldn’t be the case…
One of his very powerful skill in the ‘Past’; A-class skill [ Equip ] skill.
He had acquired it by luck.
[ Equip ] skill give Allen an ability to use any object that was made with the intent of being used as a weapon at an extremely high level of skill.
He also becomes significantly stronger, faster and tougher. Even weapons that he had never touched before, such as guns, can be instantly understood and utilized.
When reached a certain Level, this skill let the user make all the things; whether it was a beast, monster or even humans turned into weapons to oneself and he would be able to use them efficiently as if he was using them for many years.
This skill was also the reason why he became known as the [ Beast King ] in the past. When this skill reached Lv5 he would be able to turn any beast or monster he bonded with into a weapon and use them for a particular time.
This skill greatly corresponds to his class [ Beast Master ].
He has guessed that he had it two days ago when he was practicing his knife skill but to really confirm it now was really different.
But didn’t he return in the past?
Then this skill should have been lost, so why…?
‘Besides from the sensation, this skill seemed to have reverted to Lv1.’
From his ‘Past’ he has leveled it up to Lv6 and could even transform his beasts into weapons to use in battle, making him known as the [ Beast King ].
Anyway, with this, my confidence and battle power increased.
Lowering his hand, Allen looked at his trembling classmates.
“I don’t particularly care whether you live or not…” Allen started.
This wasn’t a lie. He could still remember what happened in the ‘Past’.
Because of panic, they push others towards the monsters to escape.
They have never helped each other. While they were running, they would pull their own companions down, entrapping others.
They are selfish creatures.
Kicking, punching, those are just things they did towards their classmates just to survive.
This also happened to him many times. The friends he thought and the classmates he fought with all of them made use of him just to survive. If not for some rotten luck, he would have long been dead.
And so, he doesn’t owe anything towards these people… aside from some, especially his teacher.
“…but let me tell you this. The judgment has come. Whether you survive or not depends on yourselves.”
“What?”
“Hey, what are you talking about?!”
“Just what is that monster?”
Questions popping out one after another but Allen ignored it and looked at his teacher, Ms. Grace who was looking at him in shock and bewilderment.
“…that is why teacher, I will pay my debt back and assure your safety.”
This is his repayment.
“Mr…Mr. Bando, just what are you talking about? What is happening?”
“Teacher, this is ‘His’ judgment.”
“his?”
“Yes, ‘Him’ God.” Allen was looking towards the sky which was now covered in darkness.
Following Allen’s gaze, Ms. Grace and the others turned their gaze towards the location and immediately, their body shivered.
Ms. Grace widened her eyes because of Allen’s words. God?
“In other words, this is the apocalypse.” Mia who was standing beside Allen spoke. She was smiling while muttering the word ‘Apocalypse’.
“Wait, what are you talking about? Apocalypse? Are you nuts?”
One boy voiced everyone’s opinion of Allen while trembling. However…
“Shut it, you damn annoyance!.” Mia stared at the boy who was in a panic with cool eyes, the boy slightly flinched and closed his mouth.
“We don’t care if you don’t believe it or not, you can all do what you want and get lost, boy.” Understand? Was what Mia’s eyes asked, but no one said anything.
Immediately, she turned her gaze towards the other students, and all they could do was slightly nod.
“…anyway, that’s that teacher. This is the apocalypse, ‘His’ Judgment.”
Without caring about that small interlude, Allen continued his explanation at Ms. Grace.
“The world won’t end in fire or water but human’s imagination. Have you seen that right? That’s a goblin; it was created from stories and myths humanity created throughout time immemorial.”
“What?!”
“Of course it’s not just goblins. Man-eating insects, beasts and monsters, demons, dragons and much more. All of the creatures you heard in stories would appear one after another.”
Apocalypse? Monsters?
All the people couldn’t believe what they are hearing, however, looking at the corpse of the creature that shouldn’t have existed in this world, they could only suck a cold breath.
It might be hard to believe it and might be considered insanity but as the proof was in front of them, no matter how dim-witted they are, they couldn’t do anything but believe.
Deny it? That would be like escaping from reality and would never do them good.
Feeling a tremendous feeling, some people collapsed and let out weeping sobs. Ms. Grace and several students were also exhausted and sat deeply on the chairs.
“I-…I-…Impossible.”
What is happening in this world!
Ms. Grace raised her head and looked deeply at Allen as if she was hoping that she could find anything that would let her prove that Allen was lying and pranking them. Unfortunately, from Allen’s serious expression, nothing could be seen and thus, her hope was destroyed in an instant.
The tense atmosphere lingered for a while. Nobody spoke and, even though it was only a few seconds, it felt like much more time had passed.
Then someone broke this silence. As if she was the one representing the class in finding out his real identity, Ms. Grace Lim asked. “Mr…Mr. Bando, why do you know of this. And that gun, just who are you?”
Allen smiled and said, “Well, I’m just a regular high school student you can find just about anywhere…”
“You’re acting too cool, idiot” Mia elbowed him while smiling mischievously.
Their actions and behavior didn’t have an ounce of anxiety or fear, vastly different from the other people inside the classroom.
“None of your business,” Allen muttered as he turned around and faced the door.
One goblin dead. But it was just a scout.
From his memories, after a few minutes, there would be several of them coming here.
Thinking of that, Allen walked towards the door followed by Mia who was walking quite leisurely without any tense.
“Lieri, can I ask you to wait here and protect Ms. Grace?” Allen asked.
Lieri looked at Mia and saw her nodded her head and so she also nodded in confirmation.
“Thank you.”
“I will leave milady in your hands, young master Allen.”
“Yes… is what I want to say but I don’t think she would need my protection~” Allen smiled wryly as looked at the girl holding a rifle called a Kalashnikov that was made of both wood and metal. In her face, there was still that annoying smile that seemed to be saying how she was enjoying this situation.
“Wait!” a voice called out. It was Allen’s teacher, Ms. Grace Lim whose face was filled with anxiety. “Where are you going?”
“Clean up…” Leaving those words, Allen steps outside the classroom.
As expected, once he got out the classroom, everything seemed to have changed.
The fishy stench emanating out from everywhere was enough to make anyone’s nose crinkle.
Cries and screams echoed in the whole place.
This, right now, is the battlefield.
‘No need to waste time.’
Holding two BERETTA 92 each in his hands, Allen’s fighting spirit surge up. This wasn’t the same as the ‘Past’.
In here he wasn’t merely a prey, but a predator.
Experience, he had them. Knowledge of the future, he also had them. What else does he need?
For those bastards who treat me as nothing as a prey in the ‘Past’,
“It’s time for my Judgment.”
