Chapter 370: [ Intense battle against the Mummy Lord (3) ]

Allen’s body was knocked to the ground like he had been hit by a shell due to the shockwave generated by his attack.

Fortunately, they seemed to be alright –though, Lama, Fiona, and some tamed beasts seemed to have been injured due to the impact and rubbles. Fortunately, there were no grave injuries… Allen sighs in relief…

He really needs to apologize after this battle…

Well, there were still many monsters and undead that had survived the explosion. But Allen ignored them. His focus was entirely on finding the Mummy Lord.

It had disappeared…

Allen activated all his search type skills since his vision was a bit impeded by the clouds of dust as well as rubbles. As he focused his attention on it, suddenly, Swoosh! along with the sound of wind tearing the empty air, Allen felt a chill crawling on his spine and he reflexively dove towards the side.

But, the moment he thought that he was finally safe, another attack from nowhere hit Allen’s back, and the force sent him stumbling back a few feet. Before Allen could gather himself, he saw another wave of belligerent barrage coming at him.

In desperation, Allen rolled on the ground and then with his right foot, kicked the ground with all he had and soared into the sky.

But not before long, a tremendous pressure overwhelms him. It’s as if the sky had collapsed, causing him to bear all the weight of the world.

Still, Allen endures the high gravity forcibly and spread his wings like an eagle, his eyes lit up and the aura around him become even stronger, stabilizing his condition.

There, his opponent, the Mummy Lord was standing not too far away from him. Violet light that looks like ripple creeps around it, and its body shines golden.

However, if one looks closely, the Mummy Lord’s right leg was muggled and seemed to have been severed, though it was already slowly healing and reconnecting. There were many burn marks on the bandages around its body as well and even his right arm was still sizzling in smoke.

Looking at this, the Mummy Lord certainly didn’t escape unscathed!

“That attack…superb!” The golden Mummy Lord muttered as it covers its whole body with a violet light once again.

Allen shrugs after hearing the Mummy Lord’s words. Indeed, just a while ago, Allen recalled there was indeed a notification that had appeared but since he was in the battle, he just brushed it off and ignored it.

Well, as for his Curse Resistance, he should thank his Angel of Death Physique and Solomon’s innate body that originally possess the Curse Resistance from his past endeavors. Sadly, this ability was not enough for extremely high-level curses.

But for someone like the Mummy Lord, his current level of resistance was enough for Allen to resist.

Thanks to my cheat self-healing skills, such as [ Flawless Restoration ] his wounds have disappeared in just an instant. It still hurts though, But not to the degree that impeded his fighting capability.

Even so, mana is used for recovery, so I should take care as not to get hurt as much as possible. My mana is not unlimited. Besides, it hurts after all.

Normally, although an undead like a Mummy had powerful explosive strength, their agility was lacking in comparison to other undead. Still, the boss monster, Mummy Lord wasn’t included in this disadvantage.

This monster excelled in both power and speed. Whether it was a physical attack or magic attack, the Mummy Lord outclasses many Deities!

In fact, the only reason why Allen had managed to contend against it equally was due to his numerous OP abilities as well as innate physiques --especially the Dragon Physique and [ Goro Goro no Mi ]!

With only his level, he would have been defeated long ago!

As Allen dodged the oncoming punch, he countered with a blow at a person’s weak spot—the chest. His arms coated with intense lightning and blue flames, it was a very powerful combo attack.

The Dragon Clan’s anti-magic barrier broke in an instant, showing how powerful the Mummy Lord’s attack. But even so, the barrier brought him enough time.

Allen’s body turned into a flash and disappeared. The Mummy Lord’s magic pierced the air and boom!! Bursting the broken rubble behind.

Allen reappeared a few meters behind the Mummy Lord and took a big breath and spewed out water column as well as blue flames coated with intense lightning from his mouth.

Water and fire, the two different elements coiled around each other like intimate snakes and rushed towards the Mummy Lord.

He twisted his body and was about to dive forward but the speed of the breath was terrifying and half of the Mummy Lord’s body was blasted. His left arm, plank and leg disappeared without a trace.

Naturally, Allen only shot this powerful attack after learning that Asmodeus, Baishe and the others had already left the ruins vicinity, which even the woman from before was brought along.

As for Dakna, it was still fighting with the Sphinx on the surface, outside the ruins. Dakna seems to be having a hard time since the Sphinx seems to be almost immortal.

Baishe and the others rush out to help her.

Thus, inside the ruins, aside from occasional monsters, only undead were left!

With this, Allen can now fight the Mummy Lord without worrying about anything.
