Chapter 740: [Demon Palace Pandemonium (2)]

The demonic dragon roared in pain as it started to roll on the ground, flatting and crushing demons that were pitifully implicated. However, no matter what it did, the snow-white flames seemed to be burning forever and just cannot be killed off.

Allen snorted and turned his attention towards the horrified demons and fallen angels. His expression was fierce and full of killing intent.

“What about you all? Will you scram? Or make me do it for you?”

“Demon Prince Dante, indeed you are strong! But that doesn’t mean you can do what you want in the demon world! Do you think the demon world still accepts you?!”

One of the demons scowled in anger.

“Demon Prince Dante! His Highness Mammon had already given up your judgment, you best lay down your arms and accept your fate! The Demon Emperor will soon awaken; you can do nothing about it!!” another screamed.

Allen was unfazed, however. His eyes rose to fix upon the demons suspended in the air, talking highly.

“You refuse to submit?”

The demons glared daggers back at him.

“Why should we submit?”

Allen sighed once more.

“Some people are so stupid there isn’t any medicine in the thousands of universes that can save them. Well then, as once the Prince of the Demons, let me help teach you all a lesson.”

“Dante, speak less rubbish! Do you think the Demon World needed your teaching?! You are a traitor and always will be!”

“Even if we die today, you also will not be living anymore!”

“Very well then. I’ll give you all a chance,”

Allen snorted.

“Beat me, and I will give myself to all of you.”

“…?!”

“…that is if you can do it…”

His eyes fixed upon the courageous and foolish demons and flashed an ethereal crimson. Two beams of light radiated from those unsettling red eyes. The world grew bright as day. With Allen at its center, scores of searing golden lightning erupted from the skies to obliterate everything they fell upon. In the face of this abominable tempest, even the high ranking demons had to devote all of their power to self-preservation.

“Hmph!”

The grunt was cold and angry.

The heavens fractured, and then in from the skies and red clouds just above the enormous castle, there radiated forth a great beam of light. Then, the world became crimson. A deep, true crimson from heaven to earth. It was no forest of lightning, but a sea.

An ocean of all-consuming electricity.

Yet before Allen was about to attack, suddenly at this moment-

“Wait, Master!”

Allen halted. Then, from behind came a surge, no, a tsunami of sound along with a powerful momentum hit the surrounding demons, blasting them away.

"Wh...!?"

The demons, shocked by the sudden turn of events, hurriedly turned around to see -in close formation hundreds and thousands and demons and fallen angels came through the open crushed door dressed in shiny armor. And leading the front was actually Asmodeus whose body was burning in hellfire.

Not only her, Amy and Andrealphus and several other familiar faces could be seen as well. Such as Lucy Zagan, the leader of the Order of Dante, and also some members of the Ancient 72 Pillars of Hell; like Stolas, having an appearance of a bird-man full of feathers that were like that of an owl, and Marchosias that appeared like a fallen angel with fur on his arms and legs and a long tail on his back that was constantly slithering, appearing like a snake. They charged through the open palace door, full of murderous intention.

The moment they appeared, they rushed past the surrounding demons and surrounded Allen in a protective formation. Led by Asmodeus, the entire army including Lucy Zagan and the original 72 Pillars hurriedly kneeled on the floor;

“We greet the master!!”

Allen’s momentum slowed down and then eventually disappeared.

He stared at the people around him with a faint smile.

“Spare me the greetings; this is neither the place nor the time for it,” he said.

“Yes!”

Their thunderous voice seemed to have shaken the entire palace and along with their auras that had exploded like a ticking bomb. Their presence in the tense battlefield surge like an erupting volcano. Their sudden appearance greatly shocks and disturbed the elites gathered in the Imperial Demon Palace.

“You bunch of traitors!!”

One of the leaders of the Knights of Hell roared in anger as he stared at the group protecting Allen.

“How dare you step into the Imperial Palace!”

“Shut up!!”

Andrealphus eyes turned blood red and his body shone with rainbow colors. From behind, there were hundreds of eyes glaring at the demon.

“How dare you speak like that to my Master!! Who do you think you are, grunt?!”

Andrealphus was completely furious.

Faster than lightning, his hands moved towards the tall and skinny demon’s face who had just spoken. His power exploded. That tall and skinny guy didn’t even have a second to struggle before his head immediately exploded.

In the next second, as if following Andrealphus charge, Amy appeared in front of the heavily-muscled demon with an ox-head. That heavily-muscled ox-head demon was still in shock. He never thought Andrealphus and the others would actually attack without care and even would have the ability to instantly kill his comrade who was equal to him in strength.

Although they are strong, they are now considered in the Old Era, and their powers gradually diminished over time. It’s not only them, but even the other ancient 72 Pillars in Hell were also gradually weakened by time and some couldn’t even hold a class against the new generation. This is also the reason why, although the 72 Pillars are Ancient Demons whose prestige and history follows the birth of hell, they are slowly being replaced by the new generation of demons.

Time passed by… the Ancient Demons strength stopped in momentum while the new ones are becoming stronger.

Aside from Demon Princes and the Ancient Class Demons like Lilith whose power and potentials are greatly connected to the Underworld, the other old demons stagnated.

The Demons of 72 Pillars of Hell are no exception.

And yet…

How is this possible…?!

Not only was the heavily-muscled Ox-head demon shock, the other demons as well.

Andrealphus and the others' burst of power seemed to be akin to that of a bursting dam that had exploded and the water could not be contained anymore. Their momentum was surging nonstop and seemingly endless. However, as an Elite of the chosen Knights of Hell, the Heavily-muscled Ox-head demon had a quick reaction speed.

When Amy appeared in front of him, he didn’t think much and simply punched forward.

This punch was strong enough to split a mountain. Even a gigantic Behemoth Monster would collapse to the ground with this punch.

“AGGHHH…”

However, the heavily-muscled Ox-head demon only felt pain in his fist. His body suddenly went weak and involuntarily collapsed to the ground. He felt his fist was grabbed by an unstoppable force and was completely crushed at that moment. That kind of pain shot straight into his bones.

He heard a weird sound in his ears, which he was actually very familiar with. This was because he would hear that cracking sound every time he crushed his enemies’ bones. He even liked that cracking sound that makes others’ hair stand on its end.

But now, the tables have turned.

The Heavily-muscled Ox-head demon listened to the voice as he closed his eyes in an attempt to endure the pain. Then, he realized his arm was completely numb. It continued to twist and changed shape. In the end, his whole arm was twisted out of his shoulders…

The elite demon who had reigned at the top of the food chain within the demon world never imagined that today, the one that was being tortured turned out to be himself. He didn’t even bother to shout in pain before he turned around and escape.

This kind of enemy was not someone he could handle, much less alone. He could only run away. He must return to the other demon elites, only then could his life be saved!

As he was about to run away like crazy, he could hear a contemptuous snickering behind him. Then, a cold hand touched the back of his head. A great force suddenly pushed the heavily-muscled Ox-head Demon’s face to the ground. His head sunk into the ground, but the great force continued to push his head forward. Like a plow that the bull pulled to loosen the soil on the ground, his head drew a long line on the ground.

Everyone, including the other elite demons, was completely dumbstruck by the scene in front of them.

They were shocked speechless.

No one could understand what was actually happening!

That fellow whose head was pulled through the ground like a plow was not dead yet. When Amy released him, he could even jump up and ran towards his comrades, with a face like a rotten fertilizer. Only his squished mouth was calling out in an unclear cry for help. The sight made everyone’s heart tremble and hair rise.

“Boom!”

He didn’t even manage to run ten steps away before his head was exploded to pieces by Amy’s terrifying power. His brain matter and skull pieces splattered all over the ground!

“Aha, ahaahahahahahaha!!" Amy’s eyes turned crescent, as suddenly she burst into a loud manic laughter. Her body was shivering till the tiniest cell of her being and her body shaking— "... this is it!! This is…ahahaha, amazing!!”

She had curled into a fetal position as she suspended in the air. Around her was a mist of blood, but her face dyed with intense excitement.

This is it!

The power from her master surging through every part of her body- boiling, erupting, cleansing—!!

It’s as if she had gone back to those times—no, this was even better! Stronger!

Her beloved master, to her unexpected surprise, had indeed become even stronger than before!

She can feel it!

The ‘Love’ from her master flowing through every cell of her body—

Amy was intoxicated.

She felt she was once again been reborn!

"I. AM. BACK!!!!!!!!"

The 72 Pillars of Hell had indeed weakened over time, but that's because they had lost their Master. But now that their Master had once again came back to their side, the void that had appeared in their hearts had been filled up, and their bodies surged with power!

That's right!

The original Demons that had once ruled Hell, but had lost their master and had become nothing but an empty husk, has finally- returned!

... ...

Maybe because they have witnessed Amy and the others' terrifying power and also understood that they couldn’t escape anymore, all of the demons roared and charged towards Allen’s group. Some of the elites also confronted Andrealphus and the others.

Two Knights of Hell and three Malebranche charged forward towards Allen like madmen, intent on attacking him from all sides. If they didn’t risk everything to kill Allen, they wouldn’t have any chance of surviving. Right now, they had understood that their opponent was not the least bit like they are expecting—their powers are above and beyond what they can imagine.

However, before they could reach Allen, they were blocked by Asmodeus and the others including Lucy Zagan.

“How dare grunts like you dare attack my master?!!”

Asmodeus roared in rage.

Lucy Zagan only snorted. She felt her power surging within her, which was now stronger than ever. Lucy turned her head and look at Allen who was watching at them with a playful smile and couldn’t help but thought: So this is why the 72 Pillars of Hell were once known as the greatest force of the Demon World that even heavens above were wary of them—

Their power alone couldn’t support the title but had become doable because of the master that always stands behind them—

[The Master of Demons and Spirits]

Once the Demons submit to their King, their powers doubled or even triple as the King’s Power supplement them. The Stronger the power the King possesses the stronger the Pillars become!

This is it!!

Lucy Zagan’s smile becomes even wider.

The legendary [Favor of the King]—

One that she had sought for... for a long, long, long, long time.

One that she had dreamed of having for thousands of years- finally in her hands!

In addition, to Lucy Zagan’s excitement, the metals around him, whether they were weapons or shields or even pillars or ornaments, Lucy Zagan can feel their existence as if they are connected to them by limbs. She can control them with much ease, and can even turn them into which object she wanted—

This is the power that once made one of the 72 Pillars in the world; the Great King and President of Hell: Zagan, infamous.

And now, it was now in her hand!

The progenitor of the Zagan Family once holds this power, but now, it was in her hand- the power that should not belong to her, as someone who is not a true blood member of the family. Despite not being a true Zagan, she shouldn’t have been able to. But now, Lucy Zagan turned towards Allen and immediately understood what was happening!

And this realization caused her to become ecstatic and full of intoxication as if she was drunk!

It was like a dream come true!

In the new 72 Pillars, she now holds a position—

And that is the inheritor of the Great Demon Zagan!

She is now one of the 72 Pillars of Allen, replacing the old—

The true inheritor of the Great King and President of Hell's position-

Lucy Zagan!

That's right!

That is now her true name!

Lucy Zagan didn’t know how or expect this kind of development. Probably it was because Dante was the true King Solomon who holds the right to lead the 72 Pillars of Hell or probably not, seeing that even Vergil was not able to establish a new 72 Pillars of Hell. Well, he might not be interested in it. In any case, right at this moment, Lucy Zagan was now a true member of the 72 Pillars of Hell!

Her lips curled into a drunken smile and her expression beet red.

When she turned her head, she found a very familiar group, looking at her in shock and panic.

The Zagan family!

Even her husband was there looking as if he had seen a ghost.

Her lips curled into a mischievous smile.

The time of her ascension has come!
