Chapter 192: [ Dungeon Exploration ]

Holding Layla’s hands who don’t want to let him go, Allen led the others back to the surface. There were Dungeon monsters that can’t read the mood and appeared but Allen let the groups defeat them while he steps aside. He will only move when it was necessary.

The group’s backpacks were full to the point that it was even spilling out. The loots they acquired were extremely generous, especially from the Hidden Boss Monster. As for the monster's body, since the monster was just a golem and actually just a golden armor, Allen melted it with his Lightning powers and turned it into a huge Gold ingot and stored it in his storage bag.

In the first floor, Allen and the others met Andrea’s group including Sara, Flor, and Aileen. They were extremely glad that nothing bad had happened.

However, due to the prior appointment, Allen and Sara separated from the group and joined Andrea’s expedition.

Layla objected but after talking with Allen, she yielded. In any case, Allen was already there and will be coming home now… she and her group needed some rest too.

Flor escorted Layla’s group back while Aileen and Garth remained with Allen. They wanted to go with them, killing time.

“Monsters on the first floor are just around Lv3 – 4, quite weak I think…” Aileen muttered as she shot her carbine to a Minotaur charging at her. “I don’t even need to use my abilities…”

“Well, they were just appetizers for the main course, you know…” Garth in the side responded. “The first floor, the beginner floor, the amateur’s banquet… virgins garden? I think I can recite many appropriate names for it…”

“What’s with the last one? Are you mocking us?” Aileen scowled.

“Oh sorry,” Garth immediately apologized while kicking a monster away. “I thought brother already did it, judging from Sara’s reaction… ah never mind.”

Garth immediately shut up as soon as he saw Aileen’s glare. Meanwhile, Sara who happened to hear their conversation turned beet red.

“You really are a pervert, Garth!” Aileen’s face was immediately dyed with the color of sunset. “Allen and I aren't what you think…”

“Yeah right… people always say that. I didn’t have an affair with her… then why is she in your bed naked? Oh that, I only lent it to her because it feels nice sleeping on it… want to try? What a bummer….” Garth snorted.

“Is that from your own experience?” Sara who arrived at their side joined in.

“Oh, hard times… dark of the world….” Garth sighed and throws a strong punch.

“You know it…” Aileen nodded her head in understanding. “Humans are ironic…”

“Yeah, learned it in a hard way~”

Watching them at the side, Allen couldn’t help but felt complicated. What are these idiots doing?

Just like what he had seen before, the inside of the Dungeon was almost like a maze, big and wide. Many stops and turn and the varied windings of the paths were quite confusing as if you are just walking in a circle.

There were some houses along the way, empty old houses made of stones and bricks.

Along the way, Allen noticed many kinds of symbols or signs engraved on the wall, it’s not ancient or old but it was newly made. From a dagger, a sword or something else, probably a paint?

Well, I guess they made something like these in order not to lose the way. However, for Allen, it was unnecessary since he possesses the skill [ Sonar ] he can walk wherever he wanted without ever being lost.

A panther pounced at Allen but without looking at it, Allen sent it flying away with just a wave of his hand.

Andrea’s group also started conversing with each other while fighting. Sometimes, they and Aileen’s group laughed together while talking.

This continued after almost an hour in which they had actually managed to conquer the first floor.

Compared to a normal run, this could be considered one of the fastest records in this Dungeon.

And now they were already in the Boss Room of the first floor. However, it was already empty since the Boss Monster was already defeated a few days ago. It will once again respawn after three days.

Thus, they went straight to the second floor.

“Why are there also human soldier’s lookalike monsters? I always feel bad since I felt like killing a human being…” Garth complained.

“I don’t know, there were considered monsters so… they shouldn’t be human…”

“Indeed they are not humans, they are records,” Allen said while following behind them. He was eating grapes while walking behind them. Unlike the groups who were doing the entire job, Allen follows them as if he was on a stroll or in a vacation.

However, no one complained nor voice out any kind of dissatisfaction. They just let him be as if it was natural.

“Records?”

“Yeah, Records. Dungeons have cores and these cores possess records. This was the one who makes monsters out of those records. It’s like they materialize out of the records information and data… you know, like game production…”

“Well, that’s high technology… can Dungeon Cores also be used?”

“Of course,” Allen responded to Barbara’s question. “Dungeon Cores are extremely special… they are far above monster cores in other aspects… however, some possess sentient. They moved around and always hide from humans so if you want to find them, you needed to flip this entire dungeon upside down.”

“There were also newborn Dungeons. You can find their cores easily in one of the rooms… however, if you take the core, of course, the Dungeon will also vanish and will look like just one of the empty ruins.”

The Monster bodies were distributed and looted among the group, giving everyone some equipment and weapons. Though most were just Normal – Rare ( Superior ) tier items such as parts of a body armor, a heavy belt, light leather gloves, a long sword, as well as several skill books.

Although the tunnel was winding, it was still very tall, spacious, and densely packed with monsters crawling like some sort of resident evil-esque events.

As they went deeper into the forest they came upon a path. Nearby were the skeletal remains of a corpse, decayed and almost turned into ashes – though there were also those who seemed to be new, probably eaten until they were bones

Allen walked over, kick a corpse sideways and found a crystal necklace. He picked it up along with an earring which he wore and hanged in his left ear and throws the necklace at Sara before clasping his hand and giving a prayer. “Have a safe trip to nirvana, whoever you are~”

[ Earring of the of Longing Woman ( Rare – Superior ) – Double the strength for half an hour and have the chance to negate one attack – Cooldown: 1 day ]

[ Necklace of Courage ( Rare - Superior ) – Double Strength and Agility for Half an Hour. Skill: [ Roar of Courage – a Buff skill that gives everyone around you within 5 meters a 30% boost of Strength and Physique. Cooldown: Half a day ]

It was an earring clearly for females but Allen didn’t care the least bit and wore it – Though it actually fits him.

Allen’s actions were extremely casual as if he was plucking feathers from a chicken. You can do that!!? The people who saw him can’t help but become startled. That’s right! These corpses might have some good items left behind! Why didn’t they think of it before?

They hurriedly scrambled around, checking every corpse in the vicinity. In the end, they found 3 pieces of equipment – though what Allen found was a bit above what they had found. Is that the reason he picked it up himself and let others alone?

As they continued on their way, suddenly they found two paths ahead of them. One was going left and one going right.

“Which way?” Sara inquired. She looked not at the leaders of the group but to Allen.

“Truth be told, I also don’t know. Allen, what do you think?” Aileen shrugged. Garth also remained silent.

“The left side led straight towards the boss room,” Andrea said, “… while the right side led to many rooms with monsters inside,” Although she said that but she doesn’t have any intention of choosing which sides.

Even though the left side was their goal but, they could accumulate some experience fighting the monsters on the right side before going to the Boss room. Thus, she left the decision to Allen and stood back. Allen, for some reason, had become the real leader of the party.

No one objected and the entire group followed and sent their gazes at Allen who couldn’t help but wear a wry smile. Why are they looking at me? “Didn’t I said, I won’t do anything unless it’s necessary?”

“… …”

“… Fine,” Since no one responded, Allen sighed. He was still not willing to help them, after all, for them this kind of experience would probably be helpful in the future. “Let’s do it like this,”

Allen opened his palm and a gold coin appeared. He flicked it in his fingers and let it drop on the ground, “Tail… left side. Or what do you have better ideas, then do it… I’ll just pick randomly, anyway~” He said with a mischievous tone as if saying, ‘You want me to pick for you… then let’s leave it to luck~’

Oo0!!? Allen’s way startled the group and they couldn’t help but showed wry smiles. F*ck! That was one hell of a way!

“…” They were speechless. He was really depending on luck?

“Let’s go along with what you said,” Aileen agreed. Either way, each side is the same for her~

Thus, the group chooses the left side and entered. They all swaggered towards the left, catching up to Aileen, Garth, and Sara who run first.
