The group wandered around the city which was named as PAGASA City and noticed the people were quite living a bit better than they had imagined. It seems like the authorities aren’t that useless…

Trading was done by Barter while big transactions were using Monster Cores…

The open-air bazaars were shaded by canopies as they displayed everything from figs to icons and the commerce was strictly regulated by city officials.

Clothes, Foods, Weapons… although not as progressive and fantastical as Italica since there only several people wearing armors and swords – most were guns and rifles…

There were also craftsmen like shoemakers, tailors or leather workers setting up shops on the streets and arcades.

The order inside the city was quite praiseworthy as there only a few of those who have starved or homeless. Military personnel distributed bread and porridge to the poor daily and the impromptu city hall provided an empty building as well as the church a haven for those hard-pressed.

The Military had also started recruiting and training civilians to become soldiers. Though from what Allen had seen so far, this city can be called a Military City since 70% of people; aside from children less than 15 years of age and old people above 60s, male or female were absorbed by the Army. Whether they had wanted it or not, they needed to be enlisted and trained.

This city was under Martial Law!

After wandering around for a whole day, Allen and the others returned to the Barracks.

There was really nothing to be done and Allen was starting to get bored of the life inside the City. His boredom even reaches enough to the point that he had wished for a strong monster to attack the city so that he can play even a bit…

However, the Mud Demon Golem was still MIA, for who knows where it was hiding.

Allen had tried looking for it, still, there was no result as of yet. Allen had even made small clones like snakes and pests to scatter and look for it but for now… not even a small rat had discovered that Mud Bastard…

Every night, Allen felt some fighting everywhere and when he came outside to take a look, it seems like the City is constantly being attacked by native monsters called [ Aswangs ], but fighting them brings no joy to him anymore. They are just too weak and he wanted to fight something stronger to satiate his thirst for battle…

Aileen, Jayla, and Sara volunteered to help the Army while Dakna and Draia didn’t really care. As for Allen, every night, he was outside looking and surveying the battle – of course, he was on the lookout for the three girl’s safety. Mireya didn’t join at all as she just stayed beside Allen, similarly bored.

Suddenly, in the sky, few monsters appeared flying towards Allen’s position. Since he was currently sitting at the highest tower to survey the entire battlefield, several monsters had noticed them.

With a muscular human body, each arm in the form of two-meter wingspan and lastly a head of an eagle – These monsters were none other than Garuda! Man-Eating monsters!

However, without waiting for Allen to move, Mireya and Dakna who was sitting beside him, immediately attack. Mireya shot meter long Icicles one after another while Dakna release a powerful breathe incinerating those who have been hit.

The two women’s domineering auras caused the monsters to immediately retreat in fear, not daring to attack them anymore.

The battle on the ground was heating up.

Other than Aswangs, there were also Filthy looking giants that were holding big wooden logs as a weapon while smoking, a minotaur looking monster, a horse people and some small monsters that looked like goblins.

This attack seemed to be quite intense compared to the usual as the wall enveloping the city was starting to break. Fissures and cracks run along it.

While watching the ongoing battle, Allen decided to lend a hand – since he was bored anyway.

From the Summoning Grimoire; [ Lightning Mouse ], [ Sigbin ], [ Flame Lion ], [ White Dragon Snake ], [ 8 Wind Wolves ], [ Cloud Serpent ], [ Infernal Grimalkin ] and lastly, the newly evolved [ Titan Ape ] who was now called [ Titan Knight ] a Lv7 monster.

The [ Titan Knight ] shrunk in size and became double that of an adult human. Wearing steel guards on its arms and legs, and several spikes appeared on its back. The Ape’s face looked a bit like a human, though still looked like a monkey with a brown long hair and breasts…

An unexpected surprise.

Aside from Beisha who now possesses an ability to shrink its size from reaching the rank of a Rook and curled itself around Allen and Grim who immediately leaped on his lap and slept, the other monsters came down and joined the battle.

“Another Bungisngis came!! Two o’clock!!”

“Surround it! Kill it before it rams again! The wall wouldn’t be able to take it!!”

“Recover the injured! Magic users use anti-group attacks!!”

“Attract that Bull Monster’s attention! Don’t let it cooperate with the Kapre!!”

The Soldiers were extremely busy, fighting and giving orders overlapping with the sounds of explosions as well as screams.

Aileen led Sara weaving in and out of the crowd.

Aileen had activated her speed force, circling the entire battlefield, targeting and killing the big guys like Bungisngis, Kapre, Tikbalang and et cetera. Following her was Sara who was currently on her Manticore form, in the midst of her brutal rampage.

They danced and swim in the battlefield like fishes in the ocean.

Blood was spilled while heads and limbs flew on the air. Aileen has the most killed count as her every attack was fast and deadly; throat, neck, chest, all of them were pierced by blades and showered by bullets by her carbine. No one can catch her nor see her move. Her targets can only see a bright flash and their vision gradually turned darker – giving them invitations from Hades himself.

Sara, on the other hand, had activated her [ Primal Fury ] and went Beast Mode, wreaking havoc in the battlefield. As her limiters have gone off and instinct taking over, her speed, power, and endurance doubled immediately making her a brutal killing machine.

She torn them apart, pierce them and those who had managed to escape her claws and stinger died the second after from the poison…

One last surprise was that, Jayla was surprisingly a Magic user, possessing both attacks, defend and healing type abilities. She was unexpectedly a mage, far stronger and convenient than the local magic user in the city; PAGASA.

She positioned herself in the rear group, doing support, attack and healing those who were injured.

In the hail of bullets and magic, in the midst of the orchestra of screams and wails, the three girls became the leading actresses of the stage.

Wherever they go, a path of blood was paved and death plays around and even those who were almost at the door of death was pulled back and send once again into the battlefield.

Unbeknownst to them, since this night, their name would spread around, like a wildfire, their names would top over famous celebrities and will be known to be as; Aileen the Death Flash, Sara the Beast and Jayla the Saint - in the Philippines!

However, they were not the only one showcasing their incredible powers as Mayla and the others who joined the fight performed their own dance.

Mayla produced flames from her arms and even her hair started burning. She burned monsters one after another as if she was using flamethrower and there was also a man in the far corner who was wearing a tight yellow suit. He looked like he was Superman as he throws one huge monster after another.

Mayla acquired Dragonna’s abilities of Flame Manipulation while the man found Captain Barbell’s powerful mysterious Barbell used to transform into a superhero.

There were also people who show off their superpowers such as a man who have wings similar to those of a bird or an eagle while wearing a feather headdress.

He was fighting the Garuda who was attacking from the air together with some people.

A man was flying without wings, generating winds and storms, a giant who was acting like a guard on the wall, slapping the Garuda and other winged monsters from entering the city – Though some still managed to pass through.

There were still many types of Superhumans fighting in the war – battling like some sort of superheroes straight out from television.

They have managed to protect the entire city all this time because of them – watching them battle, Allen can’t help but nod his head in satisfaction.

With them and other superheroes, why would they still be afraid of the demons in the future? Even if the demons are more powerful than normal creatures but, they are after all still demons, not immortal or invulnerable.

In the movies, Doomsday, Parallax, Trigon, Brainiac, Nekron, Krona, and still many supervillains were even defeated time after time. One must know some of them were extremely powerful that they had already destroyed many worlds and galaxies before – what are demons compared to them?

If humanity had become united in the previous world, they wouldn’t be in the demon’s mercy. However, due to human’s foolish conflict within themselves, before they got to face the real enemy, they were already losing…

Allen didn’t wish for them to be selfless like those heroes from movies like The Avengers or Justice League instead, he wanted them to have some sense and come together when it was extremely necessary.

Discrimination and racism will be thrown out to the window or better, buried it in the mud put some flowers on it, pray with your heart and call to God to take care of it and let it Rest In Peace.

At least, when facing destruction, everyone knows how to set aside their differences; face, skin color, culture, tradition and et cetera, whether they were alien or monster, if one can understand each other, just work together and see the better future.

Not just exchange words like ‘Die, you monster’ ‘F8ck bitches!!’ ‘You’re not a human but a monster!!’ ‘Die!’ ‘Die!’ – Well, that was already repeated… anyway, what so good about racism?

What so good about discrimination?

Would it make you look cool?

No!

They didn’t know that they’re just all making fool of themselves.

They said God made humans in his own image. If they hated and discriminated others, aren’t they just hating God himself or worst themselves, since just like what they hate, they also came from the same parent, after all…

Allen watched the Superhumans worked together to protect their city. Although some were certainly not protecting the people just because they wanted to or because they were selfless enough to think for other people’s sakes, still, they tread the same path in the end.

They managed to protect the things they wanted to protect…
