Chapter 387: [ The Start of the Auction ]
Anahita Rajavi.
The woman he had met in the Mummy Lord’s incident.
“If it’s not, Ms. Anahita, no should I call you Princess Anahita…?” Allen greeted.
Anahita walked towards him, being escorted by seven big and burly men.
At this moment, Allen suddenly found out that Anahita looked even more beautiful, refined and elegant in the contrast of her seven bodyguards. Her rolled-up black hair looked slightly fluffy, which were being held in place by a silver feather styled hairpin.
Her slightly tanned face looked even more tender and delicate, while her cheery lips were curved in a smile which revealed a hint of joy, and bashfulness at the same time...
An emerald shawl covered her light green dress, which gently caressed body right down to her waistline.
Although the young maiden's body appeared somewhat immature and unripe, it was still curvy and exquisite in its make.
The young princess stood under a crystal pane window causing the sunlight to shine through it, and her body gleamed brilliantly in the rays of the morning sun.
A gentle breeze fluttered past her sleeves. Allen suddenly thought that not many people were capable of matching her grace. Even he couldn't help admire her beauty, and was for a moment... lost in the beauty of the moment.
Her face was masked at that time and with the dirt and sand covering her face and body, it was hard to see it clearly but… this woman was really quite a beauty…
“Is something wrong with my face…?” Anahita obviously noticed Allen’s gaze and her lips curled upwards into a teasing smile.
She had always been quite confident in her appearance. In fact, among God Clans, she was one of those blessed with great beauty, standing together with those descendants of the Gods and Goddess of Love and Beauty!
Allen looked smilingly at Anahita: "You look very nice today Princess Anahita; I almost can't take my eyes off you for a moment."
Anahita’s face suddenly started to glow, and she replied back: "You really think that I look pretty? I thought that you hadn't noticed me yet...."
Allen hastily replied: "How could that be."
“Well, a day before, someone seemed to have forgotten about my existence just to entertain a certain individual wrapped in bondages. It seems like that someone thought that that certain monster is far more beautiful and graceful than me… who was pitifully thrown aside? I was quite hurt at that time…” Anahita showed a wronged look causing Allen to laugh.
“Hahaha, that’s my bad. Sometimes, battles made me forget about my surroundings. Fortunately, nothing had happened to you, or I wouldn’t know how to compensate you,” Allen chuckled lightly and responded.
“Fufufu, was that so? Then, should I interpret this as you owe me a favor…?”
“Hmm, probably… so how can I repay the princess then….?”
“Hmm, unfortunately, I can’t think of anything else right now. So, it would be best if it is left for later…” Anahita seemed to be thinking for a moment before she sighs with a wry smile.
“Anyway, the Auction was about to start, if you don’t mind, should we go together…?”
“Of course, I won’t. Being escorted by a princess, what an honor that is hard to refuse,”
“Fufufu,”
Allen and Anahita talked along the way when finally they reach their respective rooms designated for them.
They then parted, each entering their respective rooms.
Allen’s room was located far above the spectator seat and can see the stage quite clearly.
He then sat on the huge soft looking sofa, and his buttocks immediately felt soft sensation. This may be comparable with the sofa on the Earth or probably even softer and more comfortable.
Turning his gaze to the right, he saw that on the nearby table, there were several plates of delicious fruits.
If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.
“May I ask if you need anything, Sire?” That young girl respectfully asked Allen.
“No need, you may withdraw.” Allen smiled amiably and waved his hand.
“Ok. If you need anything, you can press that red button on the wall, then we will come over to serve you.” After finishing speaking, that beautiful maid leaves the box, then closed the door.
"... ..."
From his position, Allen can see the entire hall.
The auction was huge and the hall could definitely fit at least dozens to even hundreds of people.
Every nook and corner stationed beautiful artifacts and bright colored flowers that give relaxing scents. These calming fragrance spread wafted in the air, making the atmosphere seem more peaceful.
In the spectator area, some people had arrived early and had been waiting for half-a-day. However, they didn’t seem one bit impatient. In fact, they seemed to be brimming with vigor and excitement.
Dozens of beautiful young women wearing bright colored clothes were serving drinks and beverages on the people sitting on the chairs. Their clothes and the graceful disposition made them look like butterflies fluttering around the place. They looked quite pretty as they moved around easy-mannered, yet with a sense of propriety and grace.
It seems like they were really trained well and practiced.
In the stage, an elegant, dragon and phoenix engraved platform could be seen. On top of it was a small table stationed in the middle. The table wasn’t from normal wood or stone but pure emerald jade.
On top of the jade table, was a hammer --the hammer which would mark the final decision.
As Allen closely observed the Auction Hall, suddenly the sound of music stopped.
Dong! A clear and sharp sound of a hitting hammer was heard from the corner of the stage which signified that the auction was starting.
“Since everyone here has received the invitation from our hall, all of you are considered real elites of this realm. And thus, our honored guests! I, Hamid, am the chief auctioneer of the Godly Relic Hall. On behalf of this hall, I am honored to greet all the people that come here in this special event….” ‘Blah, blah, blah!’ the auctioneer loudly orated what he had memorized by heart. Then, surprisingly, he bowed after he finished speaking.
His manner and behavior were proud and every movement he took looked dignified and filled with pride and grace.
Afterwards, there was a warm and enthusiastic round of applause from the audience –Though, only faint sounds can be heard from the VIP boxes.
After a couple of introduction, the auction finally started. The procedures of the auction were about the same as the ones in the mortal world whereby the auction started off with the cheapest item.
The Auction started with a bang and continued with its merry atmosphere. Although there was some fierce competition but no one dared to create any kind of commotion and problem within the hall.
Rare Herbs, magic items and artifacts, ancient relics, pieces of antiques and many more.
There were even those that look like ordinary and doesn’t seem to possess anything magical. But for some reason, the value keeps on rising and every item was being competed heatedly by many people. Though each one of those can be considered as rare and exotic, still most of them were merely decorative items.
These items were something that Allen was obviously not interested in. He doesn’t know why… either, it has some sort of secrets or these people just love throwing cakes in the trash bin.
In any case, Allen was inclined to think on the latter as his eyes can’t see anything precious on them.
Besides, in the other VIP boxes, they also displayed an extreme lack of enthusiasm when these items were bought out and there was no noticeable activity.
Thus, with no real competition, these items, all of them fell into the hands of some rich businessmen seated in the halls down below.
However, what made Allen unexpected was that… there were silver crystals being auctioned!
That’s right! Silver Crystals!
And from the introduction, Allen found out that Silver Crystals was treated as a precious Grimoire or relic of the past era.
The bottom price of a Silver Crystal was at least; 500 GB or 5 silver Black Coin!
[ Voice Pheromone Alice ]
[ Blood Control ]
[ APR Nen Ability ]
[ Warp Gate ]
And all of these Silver Crystals were extremely expensive that it reached over 10 gold Black Coins.
However, Allen wasn’t interested in them. [ Blood Control ] was actually good. [ Warp Gate ] was also but Allen’s financial capability wasn’t that extravagant. He only has up to 12 gold Black Coins.
Still, Allen thought he can resist the temptations but never did he expected that he would almost use up all his money for one single item.
The last Silver Crystal that had appeared in the Auction: [ Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan (Uchiha Itachi) ]!
This had greatly startled Allen. The Sharingan that he had always been looking for actually can be found in this place.
But from the further introduction of the Auctioneer that Allen had heard, it was said that it was the second similar relic that had appeared.
Fifty years ago, a similar relic, [ Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan ] appeared on the auction and this was taken by someone from the Shinto Clan. Its full name was [ Kekkei Genkai: Sharingan (Uchiha Obito) ].
However, unfortunately as for the abilities receive in acquiring a relic was unknown as the one who had taken it didn’t divulge anything about it. As for the reason, no one knows.
Unfortunately, at the end of the [ War of Myth ], the one who had taken it was killed. Thus, further information was cut off. But now, a second relic had apparently been found accidentally by some explorers in the east.
If Allen wasn’t mistaken, what had been found before was, Uchiha Obito’s Sharingan and this time was Uchiha Itachi’s very own Sharingan.
Knowing this information, many people had found interest in the item and the competition become very fierce. Fortunately for Allen, no one actually knows what Sharingan really was. And so, the price only started from 3 silver Black Coins.
At this moment, Allen started to join the competition.
"5 silver Black Coins!!"
"... ..."
When Allen's voice echoed through the entire hall, the whole place went into momentary silence. Not because everyone knows who he really was but because most of the others VIPs also fell into silence.
Everyone in the normal stands knows that someone sitting in the VIP boxes certainly holds not so little background. Thus, when these VIP boxes started their competition no one would dare to join the fun and just watch happily the entire competition.
Everyone really didn’t think that much when the sixth VIP box voice out. But what startled them was that almost all the other VIP boxes also went into silence.
