Chapter 634: [He's my father! (2)]

“K, Kris Tian, wh, what did you say?! Father? Who? Him?!”

Taking a deep breath to calm his shock, Ronie tried hard to keep his voice calm but a couple of tremors could still be heard coming out from his trembling mouth.

To be honest, with the words of Kris Tian, even he was stunned. Obviously, he did not expect that at all. But after the reaction kicked in, his eyes were full of complicated emotion—he was intelligent and so he became the leader of the team.

When Kris Tian claimed that, several realizations dawn upon him but most of it, he just can’t believe they will happen!

Hearing their leader’s trembling voice, the originally silent field had gone deathly quiet.

No one even rustled their clothing or fidgeted.

Within the group, the two females each covered their mouths and their faces frozen in a moment of incredible shock and astonishment. No one in this field might not know what the implication of her words was, but how could they not? They all came from the same world, know the same history, idolize and worship the same group—and they all know who Kris Tian’s parents were!

That is why, she has an exalted position in their world. She can even be said to be a princess of the entire world. Aside from being the biological granddaughter of their Great General—she was the daughter of the two greatest heroes in their world. And now, she actually recognizes someone here as her father…? What is going on here?

Such a thing caused their minds to be blown out of proportion.

Kris Tian looked indifferent, but her heart was beating so hard. Her entire body turned soft all of a sudden. This was the first time she completely acknowledges her father and had even introduced him to the entire group. It's as if she was a little girl, trying to introduce her beloved father in her circle of friends--quite awkward but full of sweet feelings.

After all, having a father, when did she ever stop desiring such a thing? When did she ever stop hoping to meet her real parents...? She even has dreams every night, her mother, her father--her family complete and they smiled at her, loving her.

If she wasn’t used to acting calm, no matter what situation she was in, every person here would certainly see her acting embarrassed, like a normal girl. Which is completely out of character for her. Though, however, a tinge of red could still be seen on her cheeks as if she was drunk. Even her eyes looked complicated but also gentle...

Father…

She called him in the heart.

“You don’t need to say it, you know? After all, it would be meaningless even if you say that…” Allen smiled wryly but deep within his heart, he was touched. Being acknowledged by her own blood daughter in front of so many people, as a father, what kind of happiness is this?

Kris Tian snorted but her face was flushed. She was actually embarrassed. Totally. She can ignore him and even pretend she doesn't know him, but she chose not to. At least in this world, she, Ye Kris Tian, has parents, a mother, and a father!

Although she can’t acknowledge her mother but since her father had known her, at least this little happiness, she doesn’t want to refuse.

“That’s right Ronie, he is my father… one of the former Ten Dawn Kings, bearing the title of Beast King; Allen Bando…!”

Kris Tian spoke with somewhat unconcealed pride.

Allen shook his head with a wry smile. Then, he turned towards the group and waved his hand, “Hello, nice to meet you, the younger generation of ‘that’ world~”

When he said that, several ‘plop’ immediately resounded in the field like bursting popcorns. The six people of the New Hope guild actually simultaneously kneeled on the ground.

“Please forgive our rudeness, your Excellency, Beast Monarch! We couldn’t recognize you!” Ronie cried out in a respectful manner, making Allen felt moved. These people, although they should still be toddlers when he was alive.

Now, they are people who can represent that world and could make anyone proud.

Allen looks at the people kneeling before him and couldn’t help but ask, “What? Are you just going to believe it easily…?”

“Reporting to the Beast Monarch! If it is what Kris Tian said, then it must be true without a doubt!”

Hoo… so, they have that much trust and belief, is it…? Allen turned towards Kris Tian but the latter averted his gaze with a flushed expression. However, her lips curled in pride. It seems like this lass has that much status in that world…

“…Well, even if Tian ‘er claims that ‘I’ should have already been dead in that world…my appearance, you should be doubtful, right?”

“This…” Ronie and the others immediately stammered, not knowing what to answer.

They also know this and were really doubtful of Allen. In fact, suspicions sprouted inside their hearts despite wanting to believe it. But, Kris Tian had acknowledged Allen’s status… what can they do about it? They haven’t seen him or the other Ten Kings, and only in the legends and myths, they had heard of them. Even still, just like hearing superman and batman’s deeds and powers, they grow up looking at them as heroes.

They worship them with bended knees and see them as their goals…

And now, the daughter of one of the Kings they idolized claims that he was the one… even if they are suspicious, what can they do? Deny it? That would be disrespectful even if it was really not him. Because they are not in a position or status to deny and reject the Heroes the entire world worshipped!

If the people of ‘that’ world learned about what they did, whether he was real or not, they would surely be beaten up or be scorned upon—after all, questioning his existence is like doubting and insulting him all the same.

Seeing their confusion and lost expression, Kris Tian couldn’t help but frown in displeasure. “Dad, don’t play with them! You’re already so old and yet you act like a child…?” her voice was full of bitterness but also had a hint of sweetness.

After all, this was her father—the one she longed for day and night. And his playful character has always been known by everyone else in her world. Who didn't know about the childish character of the Beast Monarch? Even in seeking revenge, his far more childish and stubborn than any children in the world!

“What do you mean by acting like a child…” Allen smiled wryly.

However, he didn’t say anything or argue. After all, in this world, the only people a man could never afford to offend can be counted in one hand.

Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit.

First, Parents, especially the Mother. Second, his wife, or else the bedroom would never be opened for you—and lastly… the third, the world’s most beloved and adorable princess, his daughter… no matter what kind of man in this world, they cannot be called a real man if they argue against these three kinds of people!

One must know, the most unreasonable creature in the world... is one that is known as Woman!

Allen shook his head and turned at the New Hope Group. “Well, I know you are doubtful about my identity and I don’t blame you for that. But I will tell you this, I am indeed Allen Bando, once known as Beast King or The Immortal. And also, within your minds, you must be asking why I’m still alive when I should have died long ago… and you are not mistaken. I had indeed, have died already in that world, along with my companions…”

“…?!!”

These words struck them unexpected and they all raised their heads simultaneously, staring at Allen in shock.

What is he saying? Is he saying he was already a ghost?!

Allen grinned. “Then, why am I here talking to you… of course, I’m neither a ghost nor a specter. And I surely not a bound spirit in this Dungeon… however, the reason that I’m here before you now, is also the reason why I couldn’t return to that world and help you defend it. It’s not because we abandon it but because we just couldn’t return to that world and interferes on it anymore…” He sighs bitterly.

Although he really wanted to do something. After all, that is his real Homeworld. However, too bad, there's nothing he could do...

“We…? You mean…”

Suddenly, one of the females with black hair tied in a pair of a bun, looking Asian, probably Chinese and has the looks that overwhelm famous models muttered in shock and also suspicion. She was really sensitive; Allen can’t help but admired her intelligence and sharp ears for her to be able to nitpick on his words so clearly.

Allen nodded his head and spoke the words that even including Kris Tian was left dumbfounded.

“We, the Ten Kings…are alive…”

“What?!”

“All the Ten Kings?!!”

“H, How is this possible?! Aren’t they already…”

Seeing the confusion and disbelief written in their eyes, Allen nodded gently. He was not planning in hiding it, in fact, since they are the one who will bear the banner after them, they had the right to know. He then waved his hand and the vision of the New Hope Group wavered and they were struck with dizziness.

When they opened their eyes again, they are in an unfamiliar space—a deserted world with strange weapon grave marks all over the place. Large gears as big as planets on the horizon and red-orange clouds signifying the Dawn covered their vision.

Without waiting for them to calm down from this sudden change in the world they were in, Allen appeared before them. His appearance change. Without the lax and lazy appearance from before, right now, it turned into someone with a mysterious but also intimidating aura that shut the people up the moment they laid their eyes on him.

Allen then stepped forward. His black casual coat hovered in the wind, and a terrifying amount of energy seeped out of him. As if a real God has descended, his stance was heavenly. His untainted snow-white hair tussled in the wind, and his black coat waltzed.

At this moment, four simple words flashed across everyone’s mind.

This person is undefeatable!

They felt as if, even if they combined their powers together, they would never be able to even touch his clothes—

Then, a passage of history written in books of legends and myths they had read before, appeared in their minds.

—Allen Bando, the mysterious and enigmatic; [The Immortal] also commonly known as the [Beast King]. At the age of 18, became undefeatable while still under the Level 9 Superhuman! Being given the title [Black Demon King] he was dreaded by many people and feared by the entire world, raiding countries and nations and challenging many Superhumans, even those above him. Numerous forces gathered together just to subjugate him to no avail. Later on, the other members of the Ten Kings were also sent to kill him but all of them were defeated in the end, with him only suffering several fatal wounds—

Such passage was eye-catching and even unique among the anecdotes of the Ten Kings. Not even Daniel's power that can destroy an entire continent and submerge it into the water in an instant, or Mark's power that can control hundreds of thousands of minds to do his bidding or the others Superhuman feats that made them unique among all the people of the world, was eye-catching as his.

After all, he was the only one was labeled as...

The Undefeatable...!

Now, the younger generation, Ronie, and the others, and even including Kris Tian, they finally realized what those words really meant.

… …

The planet-sized gears slowly rotated like a clock working, and the unending Dawn shone, dyeing the land in crimson.

In front of them, Allen’s hair white as untainted as snow, Coat as black as ink, his figure slender, and his stance straight, standing solemnly before them. He created an atmosphere that was pressuring and heavenly. Like a true Immortal who was standing in the mortal world, he was divine and dignified.

The Kingly aura and the Oppressive mentality covered the entire area.

The confident style he expressed shook the minds of all the World’s elites.

…this is the [Beast King]!

The world's famous and feared [The Immortal]!

All the members of the group were red-faced as their excitements raged to a point of no return. The way they looked at Allen was full of respect, admiration and even...worship.

Seeing them calming down so fast, Allen nodded in appreciation. At least, they have some discipline. It seems like Mom really took proper care of the organization. “... I don’t think you have realized this yourself, but this timeline is not yours and that world. You are accidentally stepping into a completely different timeline than yours… that is also why we existed and lived, as me standing before you at this very moment…”

“…??”

“Do you believe in a parallel universe?”

Seeing their bewildered expression, Allen asked.

“You mean…” few of the members of the group with bright minds immediately realized something when Allen uttered those words.

Allen nodded. “That’s right, this is not your universe—this is a parallel world. A world where you should have not existed.”

“?!!” The group was startled by this sudden unexpected revelation.

They all stared at Allen aghast and dumbfounded.

“As for why you are able to come into this dimension, you can say that it is also our fault.” Allen smiled bitterly. “Why I know you? Why I know the existence of that world—Rebirth is the reason.”

“…?!!”

“... When we died in that world, by Gods work we are transported into a parallel universe; ultimately back in time where the Apocalypse happened. So that the world wouldn’t be destroyed by the Demons, we are sent there, all of us Ten Kings, with all of our memories intact. However, by doing it, that world, your world, has accidentally stepped over the boundary of the parallel universe law. And so, now you are here, existing the same timeline as we are…standing before me”

“…!!” Even though they have expected this but Allen’s affirmation really was different. They couldn’t help but suck cold breathes as they stared at Allen in shock. This is not their universe, and they went off track on their timeline—here, the Ten Kings, the Heroes of Humanity is alive.

Then… as they digested this sudden mind-blowing information, a sudden notion appeared inside their minds. And Allen noticed this and smiled, “That’s right. The mortal—no, our current world is also following the tracks of that world. However, it has already completely strayed off the path to extinction by our own efforts. Of course, it is still not completely safe and peaceful—they are still many problems and chaos everywhere. In any case, that aspect is never-ending. But at the very least, we already prevented the world to fall into the hands of the Demons.”

“We have succeeded…”

When he said this, Allen saw the group’s eyes, including Kris Tian, sparkled in shock and also full of emotion. They listened to Allen’s narration as if they were listening to a fairytale, no, a fantasy novel where the heroes and protagonist transmigrated into another world to save it.

So wonderful, so romantic!

So epic!

Even still, a world where they had managed to repel the force of evil and completely alter the destiny and fate of the world—if this is not the work of the Heroes, then what are they?!

This is what they always wanted, desired…!

If only their world…

A hint of bitterness surge deep within them.

Allen knows what they are feeling and smiled, “However, we can’t appear in that world anymore nor are we allowed to interfere in that world. You should have realized it by now, that world, is a parallel universe for us right now. Nothing seems to be a problem from our meeting at this moment, but that is only because this dimension is a very special world that can negate the law up to some extent. Though it wouldn’t last long and all of you would be surely returned back to that world once the disturbance of rebirth has been fixed. And so in our case, we couldn’t do anything. This isn’t a law set by someone and can be broken, but the law of the World that even the Gods couldn’t break.”

“… …”

The New Hope group showed a dismal and disappointing expression hearing Allen’s words.

“We can’t protect that world anymore…but it doesn’t mean you can’t…” Allen smiled faintly. “Besides, our role has already ended in that world. It is already not our place to show off anymore… right now, you, who are carrying our will and legacy—this is your age and time. And thus the world’s fate… we will leave it to you…”

The New Hope members stared at Allen in surprise and then they clenched their fists and their eyes blazed in determination.

Isn’t that what they came here for?

Isn’t that what they are doing up until now?

To save the world with their own hands!

That is why I am doing everything I can do to become strong…!

If their predecessors come and save the day, wouldn’t their efforts up until now be left in vain…?
