Blade carved into flesh and blood sprayed out.
A monster head came apart like a watermelon being split at the seaside. The sound of the sword hit echoed around.
There were growls of monsters facing their dooms and bitter roars of suffering.
In the center of a group of monsters was a girl, dancing with her blade. She had long black hair, ample breast, slender hips, and firm buttocks.
With [ Enhanced Vision ], Allen could see the girl’s facial features. Willful eyes. Dignified eyelashes. She has a bit of average Asian looks but gave off a strong aura. That would be best to describe her.
Her movements were not fast but neither slow. It was enchanting as if anyone who saw it would be captivated by its devilish nature…
This was what Allen discovered after arriving at this place. Watching her big breasts, swaying at each move, Allen felt interested for research – ah no, a bit guilty. He should not focus on those things that shoulder every men’s dream~
Thinking like that, Allen returned his gaze to the fight happening on the ground.
Allen didn’t join the battle and only sat at a broken building, calmly watching the interesting scene of carnage.
In the corner of his eye, Allen noticed a group of 6 teenagers; 3 males and 3 females with age ranging from 13 – early twenties. They were curled in the corner of a broken shop, crying and wailing.
Allen wasn’t interested in them so he ignored them and only looked at the girl about 16 – 18 years old, dancing amidst the terrible monsters. Her whole body was already drenched in blood; whether it was hers or from the monsters was unknown.
Bang!
The girl was hit by a blue colored serpent’s tail and was sent flying. Her body then crashed into a building.
A normal human would have died by that blow…
But the girl stood up, albeit staggeringly while leaning on the black sword.
Her body should have been reinforced and strengthened by the demon sword… Allen concluded while watching the girl’s body.
It was certainly painful but the girl’s expression never showed such face. Different from just a while ago, it was too calm that it was already eerie…
Then the girl turned her head at Allen’s direction. Her deep black eyes didn’t show any emotion and only looked at him.
“Yo, need help?” Allen said with a cheerful voice.
“… …” but the girl only looked at him.
The monsters in the surrounding finally discovered the black clothed boy’s existence. They let out threatening roars but no one tried to come near him.
This was a very surprising phenomenon.
The girl stared at the black clothed youth for a moment before returning her gaze at the monsters. Without a sound, she dashed towards the nearest one.
Allen was still looking at her, no signs of helping her or anything.
Another monster was cut and died.
Another one…
Again..
And again…
The girl didn’t stop fighting until her whole body was already worn out. She keeps swinging his black demonic sword as if in trance… this was already a complete… Madness!!
Allen narrowed his pupil while kicking his legs. At this moment, after that one blow, she already lost her sanity… though that should still be temporarily she was still dangerous. If Allen really throws himself in, she would likely see him as an enemy and attack him.
That was also the reason why he wasn’t in a rush to enter the battle.
“…hey little girl, are you already devoured by that sword?”
The girl suddenly stopped. Her head turned towards Allen.
“…I don’t know if you know it but you should have realized it. That sword is a very dangerous thing. If you want to use that, you better keep yourse---”
Before Allen could finish talking, he suddenly saw the girl turned around and dashed towards him. Her black sword raised in the air as if it wanted to cleave him apart.
Tsk! Allen didn’t move and only clicked his tongue in annoyance. He had a face of ‘Why do people not listen to other people’s words until the end?’
In just less than a second, the girl already arrived in front of Allen and mercilessly swung down his sword.
The black sword effortlessly cut through from Allen’s right shoulder and passed through his left waist. Anyone would’ve been certainly dead but Allen didn’t do anything and looked at the girl in front of him calmly.
The girl frowned but before she could retract her sword, she suddenly saw a hand getting bigger in front of her eyes.
“…you should listen if someone is talking, little girl…”
Bzzzt!!
A spark appeared on that hand and in an instant; the girl’s dragon and Phoenix strength temporarily separated from her body. In her hazy and blurred consciousness, she felt like she falls onto someone.
Dang!
The black sword fell from the girl's hand to the cemented ground.
Lightning who was standing on Allen’s left shoulder looked curiously at the girl on its master’s embraced. It then curiously stretched its little paw and patted the girl’s hair.
At this moment,
[ Skill Replication has been activated ]
Allen stealthily activated his skill [ Skill Replication ]. He had used this once in a while but after skill [ Flesh Food ] from the zombie, he had met with failure after failure. Such as with Aileen and Alicia but both of it failed.
Just like what it says in the skill’s description, it should’ve been a good skill but was instead ranked low because of its low chances of success…
Although it looks very selfish and shameless doing this without the girl’s permission or knowledge but Allen couldn’t hold back his curiosity for the infamous Philippine Jack the Ripper. Just what kind of ability would he get, if he uses it…?
Besides, this skill is very pitiful… I might not be able to succeed…
Whether I succeed will all come down to luck so, I’m really not doing anything shameless…
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
After 5 seconds,
[ Failure ]!
Hearing the voice of the world, Allen couldn’t help but sighed bitterly.
I guess one last time…
1 second…
3 seconds…
5 seconds…
Ding!
“Oh!?” the sound of ringing bell caught Allen off guard. He never expected for it to actually succeed~
Just how does this skill actually worked…?
[ Emotion Management Lv1 ( Semi-Passive )
E-class skill.
The ability to manage your emotions and remain calm even under extreme pressure. Caution: when this skill reaches a higher level, sometimes it will activate semi-automatically even without the host’s knowledge. Skill will often be activated by the area of the brain responsible for control without the host’s awareness. The host might appear cold and stone hearted in the eyes of other people… ]
Well, it’s not a supernatural ability related to the demon sword but it was still a good ability nonetheless – though he doesn’t need it since he’s already good at controlling his emotions and feelings or so he believes.
Rooarrr!!
Allen looked around him. Monsters that have just been fighting the girl were now already surrounding the building Allen was standing on.
Rooaarr!!
They let out threatening roars one after another but not one dared to attack Allen.
Crackle!
“Shut up!” With a roar, a thunder boom under a clear sky causing the noisy bunch to immediately shut up. They took a step back but not one left the area. They still waited there and glared at Allen like a predator waiting for its prey.
Allen snorted while watching these monsters.
Once again his attention returned to the girl in his bosom. I have 3 chances, now only 1 remaining. Should I use it now, though it has a very high chance of failing…
“Ey!” Shrugging his shoulders, Allen’s arms tightened their embrace and activated his final chance.
Ding!
“What?!”
However, after 5 seconds, it actually succeeds!
[ Art Lv1
E-class skill.
An ability to create visual, auditory or performing artworks, expressing the host’s imaginative and technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power. ]
Geh! Another E-class ability that isn’t useful for me~
Looking at the notification window accompanied by the voice of the world, Allen could only smile bitterly. Although he was shocked to succeed it two times, however, all the skills he acquired are all deemed useless for him…
But why did it succeed two times today…? Was it because I’m feeling lucky today?
Thinking like this, it might be so. Allen smiled wryly and looked at the monsters creeping slowly towards him. They are already a few meters away right now.
“…well, that was a nice time but it’s time to end this here…” Allen flashed a cold smile.
He raised his arm and pointed it to the sky. “Thor’s Judgement!”
Bzzt!
Bzzt!!
Allen’s arm released a large cluster of electricity and throws it on the clouds. The white clouds suddenly converged and congregated into black clouds. Flash of lightning could be seen dancing on the surface of this clump of black clouds.
Boom!!!
As if judgment from the heavens; a huge and powerful lightning bolt suddenly crashed down from the sky, frying the unlucky group of monsters.
Boooom!!
Groaaaaaaaa!!!!
Monster shrieks and screams echoed in the whole place. The broken buildings got also involved and were destroyed in an instant.
As for the six survivors below, who cares~ whether they survive or not, Allen found himself not caring about it.
His face had only a smile on it. He finally found the first one and even acquired skills although useless, but it’s a bonus. Though it’s a pity it’s not related to the demon sword.
When the dust and rubbles were finally cleared, one would found a huge crater in the center of the destroyed buildings.
“I seem to have overdone it~” Allen lamented. His power is really difficult to control.
“Uugh…” At this moment the girl on his arms groaned painfully.
“Oh, we---”
Groaaaaaa!!!
As Allen was about to turn around and leave, out of the blue a black shadow appeared on the rubble. With a size of a three-story building, it was certainly a humongous monster.
“A [ Titan Ape ]… damn it what is it doing here?!” Allen cursed. And here I said, I was feeling lucky, damn it!
It was a Lv5 monster.
Did it get attracted by the commotion?
Frowning, Allen laid the unconscious girl on the ground first, took his Hecate II from his back and holding it in his two hands. He didn't have time to extend its two leg stand.
Ensuring its terrible weight, though in his hands it was nothing, he peered through the scope.
As it was still set on low magnification, he could see all of the [ Titan Ape ]’s upper body. That face instantly turned to look his way, smiling coldly, Allen pulled the trigger.
A roar and certain kill flash tore through space – but unexpectedly it only lodges on its huge head. It was certainly a headshot but the monster didn’t die. It only looked at him angrily and rushed towards him.
Tsk! Allen looked at it, annoyed and lightly clicked his tongue– can’t do with a normal bullet? Then how about this…?
Crackle!
Golden sparks flew from Allen’s head.
It was the omen of an incoming lightning-like strike.
His hand was clad with lightning sparks and electricity run through Hecate.
“What about my railgun then?”
After he said his words, he pulled the trigger.
An explosive noise ripped through the air.
The bullet faithfully executed its master’s will; from the muzzle, the bullet flew straight towards the monster [ Titan Ape ].
The bullet was fired at three times the speed of sound and it became an orange line in an instant. Almost like thunder, the noise rumbled in with a slight delay. Shockwaves tore through the air. It was more like a laser than a bullet.
By forming parallel currents on both sides of his arm with his electricity, Allen could fire a rail gun at two to three times the speed of sound.
Normal guns would certainly not be able to endure the pressure but Hecate was different. It was a magical gun coming from the silver crystal and its strength and durability far exceed that of a normal gun. Besides, it was originally an anti-materiel rifle that shoots through armored cars or buildings so its basic specs are much better than that of a normal gun.
That attack directly hit the huge monster [ Titan Ape ]’s right shoulder. The destructive power concentrated on that one point spread to its entire body all at once.
Groaaaaaaarrr!!!
The [ Titan Ape ] roared in pain.
Even so, it was not utterly blown to pieces.
“Quiet hard, are we?” Allen uttered in annoyance.
Allen halts his attacks and carried the unconscious girl instead. He probably could kill the [ Titan Ape ] easily but it would certainly involve the girl. He was trying to kill it by relying on some weaker attacks but it was, as expectedly, not enough to bring it down.
He still has difficulty controlling the lightning than he expected.
“[ Lightning Step ]” Golden Sparks appeared beneath his feet. In an instant, Allen flashed like lightning and disappeared from his former position.
Over 50 meters away from the battle, series of trucks lined up along the cemented street. Inside a Humvee, Aileen was restless.
Allen hasn’t still arrived. He said that he won’t fight but there were very loud sounds, explosions, and even lightning out of daylight in that direction… then what is happening?
He’s not fighting then what is he doing there? And now, there’s a huge monster that could even be seen here… just what the heck is going on in there?
“Miss Aileen, I think you should calm down a little. Mister Allen is surely alright… he possesses power that anyone of us couldn’t imagine…” Major William comforting her.
Power? Aileen cursed inwardly. Just because he had supernatural power doesn’t mean he stops being human!!
He could die if you kill him!
Aileen wanted to lash out but stopped herself. What Major William said might be right but she just couldn’t stop feeling worried.
Mia had warned her before to watch Allen carefully… and in a worst case scenario, no, just in the worst case, it doesn’t mean it would happen. Anyway, if, I mean if, something bad happens to him, do you think Mia would forgive me?!
Peeling my skin and tearing me to pieces isn’t enough!!
From what she understands about that girl’s personality, Mia would certainly skin her alive if something bad happens to Allen!
Besides, just a few days before, Allen was weak and even comparable to an ordinary human. It’s just that, for who knows what happened and who knows where he had gotten several crystals, he became super strong. But she doesn’t know how strong he currently was!
Aileen clenched her fist while gritting her teeth. Beside her was Alicia who was wearing the same expression. She was restless like a little rabbit.
As the two girls felt worried, all of a sudden a flash of lightning appeared on Allen’s former seat. The group was startled and almost jumped in fright but when they saw Allen sitting there nonchalantly with a girl on his arm, they all released a relieved sigh.
“Allen!”
Aileen immediately called out.
“Yo, sorry I was late. Something came up, anyway take this for now.” Allen passed the unconscious girl to Aileen.
“That’s!” Alicia exclaimed as soon as she saw the girl.
“Yep, that’s right. Help me take care of her for a bit…”
“Mister Allen, are you going somewhere?”
“Yeah, I’m going back there. That huge bastard possesses something good, I need it.” Allen answered while also taking the black sword from his back and lightning. He then passed them to Aileen.
“Allen?! Are you going back? That’s a huge monster, that’s not somethi---”
“Chill, Aileen. I’ll be back soon don't worry. With my current ability, it’s not something I can’t defeat.” Allen flashed a fearless smile. “…ah right, don’t let anyone touch that demon sword. That’s very dangerous~”
After hearing his words, besides Aileen, Alicia started fidgeting, making a distressed face.
“Allen, you bastard!” Aileen finally explodes. “Even if you are strong, you just can’t risk your life just like that! Besides, Mia would certainly kill me if something happens to you!!”
“I said calm down. I’ll be okay, furthermore, why are you mentioning Mia? If she was here, forget about me, she would’ve rushed there without hesitation.”
“Shut up! You can’t go unless you bring me with you!”
“As if.” Allen cut off. “…lightning stay here with them and make sure to stop them from making trouble.”
“Purr!”
“Allen!!”
Leaving with a wink, Allen disappeared like lightning.
“Allen.” Aileen was left while gritting her teeth.
