Chapter 631: [We have met again]

Allen glanced at Celty who had fallen into a deep and peaceful slumber. Only while sleeping, would her ice-cold face become so warm and gentle.

Allen furrowed his brows, he knew that the pain left behind by him was something of an enormous magnitude. He had, not only her but the other girls as well, especially Mia and Eliade. This debt is not something he could repay for one lifetime.

Allen hugged Celty who was sleeping, feeling the smoothness of her skin, and enjoying the feeling of silky softness as he kissed her cheeks softly.

The warmth of the winter sun seeped in through the windows, creating an enjoyable atmosphere.

Allen gently covered Celty with a blanket, covering her alluring figure. He sighed in his heart. If only the world is at peace, he would exchange everything in the world for that moment, where he would worry no more and spent life with them without care. Surrounded by his family and adorable wives, he would care no more about Virgil or the Demon Legion, or that idiot father-in-law, and just casually enjoy the time.

Haa… that kind of dream is something he wanted to obtain, no matter what happens.

Only…

Looking at Celty who was in an extremely deep state of slumber, Allen estimated that she wouldn’t be waking up any time soon. He slowly donned his clothes, and then walked to the windows and cast his gaze far off into the horizon, lost in his thoughts. The war has started…

Mammon had made a move…

… …

Even though he couldn’t contact his clones, it doesn’t mean he couldn’t receive any more news about what was happening in the world outside this realm. The members of DAWN stationed outside had updated on-time news on the forum. In addition, his other alternate personality; Allen had given him some news, which surprises him a lot.

However, it was not something he needed to worry and rush outside.

Mammon’s plan was still at the early phase, so it’s not yet that worse. Besides, the other Allen was there with Eerika, while he had planted clones in the Aryan Clan as well as the other places, including the Divine Martial Continent.

With his newly advance power, they should also feel the boost—against several Demons, it wasn’t something he would worry. There was no still real disturbance of the Three largest Continents yet—the God Continent, The Divine Martial Continent, and lastly, the Takama-ga-hara—the smallest continent of the Three largest Continent where the Shinto Clan resides.

Takama-ga-hara, since a hundred years ago had always secluded themselves from the world, and who knows what had happened in that land.

Athena had confided Allen that she too had tried contacting that side, however, to no avail. There was a strong barrier that surrounded the entire continent that even Athena can’t break in her current state. Even the Ama-no-uki-hashi or commonly known as the "Floating Bridge of Heaven" that functions as the gateway to enter the continent was broken…

As for whether the Takama-ga-hara still exists or not, Allen and Athena didn't hope anymore. They might have already been...a long time ago...

If only the entire Celestial Races, set aside their differences in views and beliefs and united, no threats would surely be enough to move the entire Celestial realm. Too bad, in being inflexible, Gods are superior to mortals!

They held so much pride more than anyone… there was no such thing as compromise in their world.

This had always been the case… too sad.

Allen could only sigh. As to how this war would end, Allen can’t see any good outcome of it. There are too many problems popping out one after another… it’s not like he can change things alone. Although his power is significant to change this war, it is still, after all, one man effort.

Allen turned his head back, glancing at the soundly sleeping Celty, which was sleeping with a happy contented smile before sighing. If only he can bring those he loves on the battlefield, without care. He would have many trusted people. Sadly, that is impossible for many reasons.

This is the Celestial Realm. Although they are already strong beyond the mortal world’s limit, against the truly powerful Gods, their abilities are still insufficient. He’s too scared to think of what would happen if he involves them in this war—obviously, if he does that, even if there was a fire pit in front of them, they would still jump in with no hesitation. But if something happened to them, then, what other reason does he have to be involved in this war and fight?

Isn’t that like putting the cart before the horse?

He never thinks of being a hero and fighting for the sake of the world, he only had one reason—and that is because of them!

If he loses them, what reason would he still have to wager his life?

In addition, the mortal world needs them as well. Without them, preventing that world to be destroyed is zero to none chances…

That world is his home. Never would he think of abandoning it—he can abandon the Celestial Realm but not that world—

Really… when did I sign up for this role?

I had just wanted to become stronger, then to protect the people I dearly love—why did it turn into something large-scale like protecting the entire Thousand Worlds…? Too mess up! If the One True God is writing this bullshit with a smile on his face, I would surely pull him out and beat him black and blue!

【Currently, 【Wind Dragon King】 is awakened】

【Monster King of Envy; Allen Bando has the power to release both their frozen abilities Do you want to release them?

≪YES≫ ≪NO≫】

Err?

Allen felt coincidental. As he stared at the blue screen that had appeared in front of him suddenly, his lips curved into a faint smile. Finally, his suffering had ended! The curse of the Death Mask was lifted and the Mummy Lord has once again awakened. Even the mysterious egg that he had once bought from the shop located in the Passing Cloud Sect had also hatched and for it to be a child of a Dragon King… wasn’t that too fortunate!?

Allen selected ≪YES≫ and in an instant, two figures appeared in front of him.

“We have met again… never thought so sooner…”

When the Mummy Lord appeared, he stared at Allen a bit shock. He had thought he would regenerate for a few dozen years or even past hundred years… but now, he actually managed to regain consciousness only for a few months?

Only he knows how much magic power and energy he needed to consume to recover. And the amount is not a single person could give—!

Although a God has the possibility, who would let themselves suffer for a long time just to let him awaken?

“Hehe, I told you before, we would meet again sooner than you expected,” Allen muttered with a smile. “Mummy Lord,” he propped his elbow on the armrest and stared at him, “I am now your lord. Do you have any opinion?”

“… …” The Mummy Lord kneeled on the ground in response. “This lowly servant sees his Majesty!”

Allen looks at him and smiled, satisfied. Then, his gaze turned towards the other figure; little Wind Dragon King. It looks like a little cute dragon with little spikes all over its back. Its scales were dyed with green, looking like an emerald.

It turned its head and look at Allen curiously—however, hiding behind those eyes was actually an affection, like a child, staring at their parents confused whether to acknowledge or not since Allen’s imposing manner at this moment, was extremely heavy, like a King to his subordinates.

Allen looks at it and the little Dragon felt apprehensive. It started fidgeting so adorably—

Really, for it to be in that small shop, this egg must have been accidentally found or placed on that shelf.

But even still, why is a child of a Wind Dragon King appeared in that Continent? Allen just can’t make heads or tail about it.

“Come,” Allen muttered and the little dragon immediately felt excited and dive towards Allen’s bosom. Allen caught it and started stroking the adorable little kid’s head. “Mummy Lord,”

“Yes, your majesty?”

“I will be sending you to the Mortal World later, is that okay with you?”

“Mortal World?” The Mummy Lord asked, confused. What would he do there?

“The solstice is coming, and so those beasts. Although I had prepared some means for them to defend themselves. But I fear it would not be enough. The Celestial Realm is becoming dangerous, so I want you to protect my family there.”

“If it’s the Master’s family, then I will protect them with my life!” The Mummy Lord nodded his head. He was wearing a Death Mask so Allen can’t see his expression but with the blaze in the Death Mask’s eye socket, Allen can somehow felt his sincerity and nodded warmly.

Allen stood up and slowly walked towards the room. He was now was at the top of Romeia’s Castle—it was already four days since the Banquet for the Players had ended. He walked over the window and look at the ground; people are coming and going to a piece of a large strange door at the foot of the mountain. They wore armors, robes and many strange attires and uniforms. In fact, there were even several looking groups that look like Special Forces holding guns.

After the Banquet, the Dungeon has been officially opened. Although several times, Layla and the others dive in to play, Allen actually not. It’s not that he didn’t want but he was doing something else. He had something to do, something needed to be finished as soon as possible. However, he feared that even with this, the Mortal World might still have some difficulties. Fortunately, the Mummy Lord had awakened with a good timing.

Allen looks at his hand, it was shining with a crimson color. He was finally regaining back all his power and magic energy. Because of the Death Mask as well as the matches against the Dragon King, Allen can feel that he was slowly breaking through the 1st Grade of the Mid God Realm, reaching the intermediate stage. He doesn’t know what realm does Mammon and Virgil was currently at but at least he should not be hopeless against them anymore!

The moment he returned to the Celestial Realm, there would be no rest…!

At the very least, I’m prepared. No matter what the outcome of this war is, I had already done everything I could! Makes no regret!

Ruffling the Wind Dragon’s feathers on his bosom, Allen turned towards the bed where Celty was just sleeping a while ago. Now, she and the others should be inside the Dungeon. He had already checked before, 1st to 3rd layer of the Dungeon, there was actually no apparent danger whatsoever to them.

As for the 4th layer to 8th Layer, there were actually some that can pose a danger, especially the bosses. For the 10th Layer, Allen had not gone yet. Starting there was actually becoming difficult even for him. Although he was certain that he can bypass it easily but it would be hard for the others—might as well start here for now and let Layla and the others have this opportunity to stiffen until the 10th layer.

Right now, they should still be at least at the 3rd Layer.

“…Mummy Lord, you return for now and recover slowly. You should have yet to recover till peak, am I right? I will call you if needed.” Allen muttered as he turned around and looks at the Mummy Lord with a faint smile.

“Yes, your majesty!”

As if being suck into his shadow, the Mummy Lord slowly submerge into the ground and until he had completely disappeared.

Allen turned back and looks at the window, then his figure blurred and disappeared from within the room.

A group of adventurers had appeared, not too far away.

“Them?” Kris Tian let out a secret sigh of relief. Although she didn’t know the names of many of the Adventurer Groups listed in the guild, she still memorized what they looked like. “It seems like where already closer to the gate towards the 7th Layer.”

“Probably… after we conquer the 7th Layer, that should be four months already. We should go back, that should be the time when we take back the Mainland from the hands of the Demons.”

One of the members of her group responded. His face was full of determination, his eyes burning.

“Grandmother has already planned it for too long! The debt of blood must be repaid in full!”

“That’s right! We must take our world from those bastards!!”

This was the 6th Layer of the Ninth Mountain Dungeon; Dream of the Lost. The sixth layer was a jungle world. Dense foliage and brambles were everywhere, making it very hard to see any dangers that might be present here. Kris Tian and her group, a group of seven individuals are the top elites of the World’s Liberation Army.

They are the treasures that the new liberation army was nurturing carefully.

Kris Tian turned towards the sky but the trees of this jungle world reached all the way to the top of this level, and they were so dense that they completely blocked one’s field of vision. This layer was occupied by an extremely unique type of monster, which had a huge difference compared to normal monsters, most was plant type monsters that were extremely terrifying and best in sneak and ambush-type of attacks.

In addition, in this layer, there exists a troublesome tribe monster that can only be found on this floor. The Yeran Tribe—or commonly known as Man-Monkey, primates with monkey-like characteristics.

They are bloody and carnivorous, terrifying and full of ferocious nature! Although they are much weaker compared to the other beasts and plant-type creature in the 6th Layer, and in fact the weakest monster in this layer—but they belonged to the hominin category of monsters.

Any monsters that were categorized as hominin monsters, had formed a society due to necessity, as well as had a certain amount of wisdom. Usually, these types of monsters loved to gather and survive together, making them even more dangerous. The 6th layer was basically occupied by a large number of this tribe. Although they weren't extremely formidable, they absolutely hated humans. Sometimes, they would group together and rush forward, making it certain that even heavens themselves cannot save their target.

"However, even though we have been in here for almost a week, we still have some problems dealing with these monsters, especially the Wild-Man tribe! They are truly annoying!"

“Must persevere! Our world is depending on us!”

“I know that.”

"In any case, we can’t be complacent. The monsters at the 6th layer are scattered. It is also one of the best places to quickly rack up experience points as the strength of a single Man-Monkey is trash, but they have a large population. Ha ha ha, I can already see experience points piling in front of us...."

Crooked teeth Loucho, one of the members of the group had already started to daydream. Even if they wouldn’t be able to conquer the 7th layer in time, they would still be able to rank up without a problem!

"Yeah, right!"

Conquering the 7th layer is not really that necessary!
