Chapter 640: [The first one!]
Allen’s brows furrowed. It was trying to escape—hmph! As if I would let that!
“Analyze it and make a model, Uriel…” Allen indifferently muttered. "I'll rob everything it possesses!"
[ Acknowledge! Soul Analyze… 45%...78%...100%...Creating a model… 56%...88%...100%... ]
Uriel’s voice appeared within his mind. Then after a few minutes, a blue screen appeared in his retina where Arakel the Scorpion King virtually appeared as a whole and looked the same as the real person himself. It was rotating slowly as if to display every corner of his very being.
[ Without Blood ] [ Body Part Generation (Arachnid Limbs) ] [ Stinger Generation ] [ Poison Generation ] [ Pincer Claw Generation ] [ Superhuman Durability ] [ Superhuman Endurance ] [ Superhuman Reflexes ] [ Superhuman Speed ] [ Superhuman Strength ] [ Scorpion Transformation ] [ Seismic Sense ] [ Radiation Immunity ] [ Sand Manipulation ] [ Sand Empowerment ]
Floating next to the figure, there were fifteen azure cards with names faintly embossed on them. These are the abilities and skills the Scorpion King possess? For him to be able to analyze fifteen abilities at once—as expected of the Scorpion King, I guess. Just how many abilities does he truly possess? Allen thought.
Some seemed to be redundant to my abilities. Even still, they are better in some aspects—as expected of the renowned Scorpion King that was able to fight toe to toe with a God!
Although there should still be abilities that had failed to be analyzed, even still, these abilities are already more than enough!
Smiling faintly, Allen then touched each card presenting its skills. Immediately, the scenery in his brain started to change.
It felt like an illusion.

“Absorb…”
Glaring at the Scorpion King that was slowly crumbling into hundreds and thousands of scorpions in front of him, a wicked grin appeared on Allen’s face. Allen can feel that the Scorpion King’s shoulder and head were already left. However, suddenly the transformation was halted.
Under the Scorpion King’s shock and confused expression, he was slowly reverting into his original state. Sensing what was happening, panic and anxiety flashed across the Scorpion King’s eyes and he struggled even more.
But this time, its body slowly turning dry. The sand wrapping around it was slowly tightening as if wanting to turn its body into meat paste.
GrooooOOOaaaAAAArrrr—!!! the Scorpion King’s death cry echoed out. After a few minutes, the Scorpion King fell down from the cocoon of sand, appearing like a dried corpse. Even a Mummy was still vigorous-looking compared to it.
However, as expected of it, it was still alive, barely.
Allen walked over and raised his sword.
“Rest in Peace, Arakel… that’s what Romeia wanted you to do,” he muttered and slashed down.
The Scorpion King’s head fell and rolled down the ground. But there was no blood splashing as if what Allen had severed was just a stone sculpture.
【Congratulations! You have successfully defeated the Scorpion King Arakel (Desert King)! 】
【As a reward, Strength, Agility and Endurance are all increased by 30%. Unique Skill; Desert King’s Avatar has been learned. Scorpion King’s Desert Smasher (Mythic Tier) and Scorpion Kings Scorpio Armor (Legendary Tier) was acquired. 】
Allen swiped the blue screen that was popping out in front of him with indifference as he stared at the Scorpion King’s corpse. It was now crumbling and turning into grains of sand and disappearing. However, at this very moment, Allen’s eyes flashed and his hand reached out with lightning speed.
Crack! A snapping sound echoed within his head, and his hand blistered with cuts and blood seeped out from within.
In Allen’s hand was a blue colored orb that was invisible to the naked eye. In fact, other than Allen, no one would be able to see it. Allen possesses the Evil Eye that can see through spirits and ghosts, which was inherited by him from the original Solomon, as a Master of Demons and Spirits. This is also the reason why he was able to use spirit and soul magic with ease. Although in combat it was useless but it has its own use.
And one of them is this…
Allen’s arm trembled as he continued grappled against an invisible force that was pulling the blue orb—Cracked! Focusing his eyes on the blue orb, he can see several chains wrapping around it. Gritting his teeth, Allen’s magic power exploded and Rebellion flickered.
Baaaang!!
The Chains wrapping around it was completely destroyed and the pulling force slowly faded.
“Master…” The Mummy Lord looks at Allen’s arm which was covered by blood, though it was already healing at a miraculous speed. He had seen everything due to him being a special being who was cursed with his soul bounded in the Death Mask. Thus, he was extremely sensitive to these particular things.
Allen looks down at the blue orb, this was the soul of Arakel Scorpio, the Desert King and one of Romeia’s former comrades and friends. However, because of some unknown reason, aside from Romeia, all of her comrades in the past was bounded and imprisoned within this Dungeon and was used over and over and over again as a Door Guardians.
With their skill and abilities, it was no wonder that they would be chosen by the Dungeon—but Romeia cannot endure seeing her comrades and friends be treated like this and never be able to rest in peace.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
And so, she formed a deal with Allen to liberate all his comrades’ souls from the Dungeon. As to how she was able to know Allen’s ability to do it, it was because of her own Labyrinth Domain that had analyzed all of Allen’s abilities and physique. Romeia had always thought that there was no way to do it but Allen’s existence was a miracle for her.
“…This is the first one, huh…” Allen mumbled as he took out his Soul Sphere and put the soul inside of it. He wouldn’t be able to free the soul within the Dungeon as it would just be captured again. And so, he planned to store it first and free it after he goes out. That would be the safest way.
Turning towards the sand which was once the Scorpion King’s body, Allen can see some shiny things sparkling from within it. Allen waved his hand and six-item loots appeared, shooting towards his hand.
[ Sand Berserker (Mythic)]: A two-handed hammer that has the power to turn things smashed into grains of sands.
[ Poisonous Scorpion Stinger (Material)]: The Stinger of the poisonous Scorpion King that can be used in forging, granting the forged weapon the “poison” attributes.
[ Scorpion King’s Saliva (Material) ]: obtained from the poisonous Scorpion King. An extremely toxic, once contaminated, unless your power is above Intermediate Lesser Deity Class, otherwise, anyone getting infected will get weaken and slowly die.
[ Scorpion King’s Carapace (Material) ]: Obtained from the Scorpion King. An extremely good material for armor that even surpasses mythic tier steels and ores.
[ Skill Book Full-Power Strike]: Using the weapon in the hand to strike at the target in front with all your strength.
[ Skill Book Ethereal Body Parts Materialization ]: This is a skill that materializes parts of the body that does not originally have a physical form. It is mainly acquired by Astral-type monsters, spirits that have been contaminated with Mana, such as Ghosts and Specters. The materialized spirit form becomes susceptible to physical damage, but it does not have flesh and blood, so the damage taken is still less than damage from silver or Magic Items.
Most were materials, which was more important than items and weapons for him. Allen surveyed the ruined courtyard and saw several items which had fallen from those killed by the Mummy Lord. Since the Mummy Lord couldn’t see because he was not a player, he had left them alone after the monsters crumbled into the sand and disappeared. not knowing that there were treasures lying beneath.
Allen waved his hand and retrieves them personally as it would be a waste not to use it. Although they are garbage to him, they are treasures in other people’s hands. Especially, they are far better in qualities than those from the upper layers. It’s not something he could waste at all…!
After checking the courtyard once again and seeing nothing anymore, he turned around and walk towards the big withered tree. There, at the base was a large crevice, or should it be called a cave under the tree trunk? Allen entered it and saw a door. Without hesitation, he pushed the door open and he was then swallowed by crimson light.
… …
The place was basically void of life.
A place where hot magma randomly flowed, emitting various sulfur smells. Even the energy within it was filled with wild violence. An ordinary person wouldn’t be able to endure from such an environment.
The moment they appear from the door of light, the hot air immediately swept out like a swarm of bees, as though it had been sealed for a countless number of years…
Allen and the Mummy Lord, immediately upon arriving in this floor, felt themselves being attacked by waves of heat. The surrounding area was filled with desolate lava flows. It was an empty land…one could see off into the distance easily.
But the temperature of the lava flows here was very high.
The Mummy Lord extended his hand and gently waved it in front of him. He bitterly laughed, “Master, just this place alone is already so hot. Is master feeling any discomfort?” he asked, concerned.
However, Allen spread his hands and inhaled a deep breath of hot energy. His face revealed a satisfied expression as he smiled and said, “This kind of hot energy is what I need most. I don’t fear ordinary flame nor this kind of energy. Mummy Lord, you can rest assured…”
“…If Master says so,”
This layer of the Dungeon did not have much light compared to the upper layers who seemed to replicate a sun to light up everything. But in this layer, there’s no such thing. As if he was within a colossal cave, a faint bright-red color-filled its interior.
That bright-red glow was just like a sun that spread out, expelling the darkness in this area.
Allen and the Mummy Lord walk forward. As they preceded forward the 14th layer, the surrounding air became hotter.
The fire-type energy contained within also became increasingly pure and… violent. Allen inhaled a deep breath with all his might. A wave of hot energy followed his nose and entered his body. Finally, it flowed within his body and caused him to swiftly become fiery hot. Allen did not know if it was an illusion, but the Firebird Bennu within his body had appeared much livelier at this moment.
“Where are we? How come there is such a place…?!”
A surprised yet extremely excited voice rang out from within his head.
“You woke up?”
“Of course I will! Where the hell is this place? How come such hot energy so dense in this place?! I can feel my strength recovering at an unbelievable speed!” The Firebird exclaimed in excitement.
Because of her enthusiasm, Allen’s body suddenly ignited in crimson fire, startling the Mummy Lord, thinking that Allen ignited in the fire because of the place. Allen’s hair, shoulders, back, his arms as well as legs, all of them were blazing in crimson flame, causing him to almost look like a fire spirit.
“M, master, are you okay?!”
“I’m fine,” Allen smiled helplessly. He actually cannot completely control the flames. Damn Firebird! However, Allen becomes even more comfortable as the flames on his body burned even stronger. His body revitalized and his strength becoming stronger. Hot, wild wind whistled past his ears as he proceeded on.
As he approached the underground magma world, the surrounding air also became much hotter.
This kind of place was not one that was used to play. It was really dangerous here. Normally, if one walked around the craters, the thick pervasive sulfuric gas would choke their nose. These heated rocks underfoot could be used to fry eggs, and in the rivers of flowing lava, one could see dark red magma bubbles with molten iron chunks floating within.
Even if the ground didn’t appear to have any problems, one could not hastily step on it. Because the ground could be a shell of cooled magma if a foot stepped on it, it was possible to crush that layer of cooled magma, and lava would spew out and immediately devour whoever stood there.
The rocks underneath were red like garnet crystals; a normal person would simply not be able to put a single foot down.
In this kind of world, forget about monsters, the environment alone was enough to kill and slaughter many unlucky people no matter how strong they are.
Without enough preparation, even if it was a Lesser Deity ranked experts, especially to those affinities counter fire, they would surely be in a sorry state in this kind of world. The heat energy here, just like what the Firebird says, too dense and powerful.
A scorching hot gust of wind blew past Allen’s face. Looking into the distance, all he saw was a vast sea of roiling lava and a crimson sky.
However, as Allen and the Mummy Lord was strolling in the area, an enormous air bubble suddenly exploded from the ground, bursting open with a loud roar. Bam! More than ten gouts of lava shot up from around them, like a fountain spurting into the air. Like a lesser-dragon erupting from the seas, the lava was directly in Allen and the Mummy Lord’s path.
The Mummy Lord was alarmed. He was about to step forward and defends Allen but Allen was one step faster, his hand waved and a gust of hot windblown over, the incoming columns of lava was immediately blown apart. “Mummy Lord, you don’t need to worry about me. In this kind world, there’s nothing that could threaten my life,” he muttered with a faint smile.
“… Yes, master…”
The Mummy Lord nodded his head in understanding.
Roooooaaarr!! Roooooaaarr!! Roooooaaarr!!
As Allen and the Mummy Lord was casually dealing with the Lava column that would shot towards them. At this moment, *Ding!! [ …… A large number of wandering Magma Ants are present, please be ready for battle. Caution: You are forbidden to use any Elements inside the 14th Layer aside from Fire! ] a familiar sound echoed within his mind. But this wasn’t Romeia’s voice—it was even more synthetic and mechanical.
“Magma Ants? Elements Banned…”
As I thought, this Dungeon is not just a mere Dungeon but more like Smelting Trial. Every layer has its circumstances, situation, and elements. However, Allen has not enough time to be surprised as already seeing in front of him a large group wriggling crimson shadows.
It’s a giant ant with a crimson body and a meter long!
