Chapter 189: [ Looking for Layla ]

Chapter 189: [ Looking for Layla ]

“It’s not Mia’s fault, Allen.” Aileen softly muttered. “Layla wanted to become a Superhuman so she asked Mia about it. Of course, at first Mia didn’t agree but she insisted. A few months ago, Mia finally agreed on one condition, Dungeon only for a day and would never stay the night. She will be escorted and protected by Mia’s subordinate and never a Boss fight without her permission…”

“… …”

“Since then, Layla was allowed to go… every night they will return but yesterday…”

“They didn’t… are you kidding me?!” Allen gnashed his teeth in anger. He immediately started walking towards the entrance.

Only his sister in this world can make him lose his cool like this. She was far more important than any people or women around him. Although he loves the others as much, Layla holds a somewhat special place in his heart, a part that any women can never replace.

He doesn’t know what to do if something really happened to her.

“““Allen!””” Flor, Sara, and Aileen anxiously called out but Allen wasn’t listening as he continued walking faster.

“Brother, wait. I’m coming with you! Stella is also there.”

Allen stopped. “Who?”

“My twin sister, stupid.”

“How would I know…? Damn it. No time to waste on you, every second count.” Allen spread his arms; golden sparks appeared around his fingertips. “Flor, Aileen…”

““Yes?””

“Go with Sara and the others… help them and protect Sara…” Allen ordered. He meant Andrea and the others.

“No, Allen we’re also going!”

“That’s right!”

“Allen, I’m also going!” Sara also cried out.

“Then go, but we’re going ahead!” Allen’s silver hair swayed in the breeze. Black haze along with golden colored sparks enveloped his body.

“Homage to thee, O Osiris, the lord of eternity, the king of the gods,” He softly muttered.

“I am Osiris, King of Kings, Lord of lords, Ruler of princes, who from the womb of Nut hast ruled the world and the Underworld,” Allen muttered the verse from the Hymn of Osiris, however, at this time, he had changed it.

With his increased dark power, he had embraced the identity of Osiris!

Black shadows appeared around him, startling the others. Even Sara, Flor and Aileen couldn’t help but step back.

Garth looked at Allen in amazement. This power is extremely… even he can feel it…

“Wow,” the only word he could muster.

Allen’s bizarre performance garnered attention as many people stopped their way and looked at him in amazement.

“Oh Guardians of the underworld, cometh hither, thy king is here! Protect him from harm! Protect him from all enemies! I order you, I am Osiris!!”

Allen slams his both palms on the ground and in an instant; there were sarcophaguses in every direction.

They counted at least 10 of them. Not far away, there was one sarcophagus that was different from the rest.

The sarcophaguses all opened simultaneously. One after the other, mummified corpses startled the people in the surroundings as a gasp and shocked screams lingered everywhere.

[ Dead Guardians from Duat ]

This was the new power he acquired from [ Osiris Fragment ] aside from [ Dead Servants ] when he received an enormous amount of dark Power from Bataliel.

Several of the mummies were holding weapons like swords and spear. There were also holding flail and crooks.

As soon as they got out, they immediately kneeled with one leg on the ground. The way they posed themselves in front of Allen resonated with how a loyal servant would serve in front his king.

“Our … benevolent king…” A rough and broken voice resounded.

Looking at them, Allen felt somewhat exhausted. It seems like summoning [ Dead Guardians ] was extremely mana consuming. At least more than half of his mana was eaten…

“Find my sister and bring her safely to me,” Allen said while pointing at the entrance of the Dungeon.

“We served for the King!” The mummies one by one stood up and immediately run towards the Dungeon entrance, scaring many people.

“Awesome…” Looking at his brother’s power, Garth’s eyes started sparkling. He was now seeing his brother in a new light.

In fact, he was not the only. Whispers appeared around them. ‘Is he a necromancer?’ ‘Never seen one.’ ‘Amazing! Did you see that?!’

Flor couldn’t help but whistle in amazement. Aileen, on the other hand, along with Sara, they only smiled bitterly. For them, Allen’s existence is full of surprises. It’s as if, something like this, for him, isn’t a surprising matter anymore. They have become numbed.

Still, Allen wasn’t finished. He will do everything he can to find his sisters immediately, even if it means flipping the entire Dungeon upside down.

He narrowed his eyes and waved his hand. In an instant, a small dagger materializes in thin air. Allen grabbed it and without any warning, stabbed it on his shoulders.

“Ah!!”

“Holy!” except Sara, everyone let out surprised screams one after another from Allen’s strange actions. Flor and Aileen immediately run towards him.

“What are you doing?”

“Allen, are you crazy?”

But Allen didn’t answer and instead let his blood drip in the ground. And when it landed, from the dumbfounded and stunned gazes of everyone, the blood bubbled up and suddenly turned into crickets, spiders, snakes and many small creatures.

“Go, and find my sister… immediately!” Allen ordered.

The pests immediately scattered around.

“I’m going first.”

“Huh?” Before they could leave out from their daze, Allen grabbed Garth’s collar and turned into lightning and flew away.

“What the!!? Hey!” Only Garth’s anxious scream was left behind before their figure had already disappeared.

Flor, Aileen, and Sara were left behind, looking at the entrance of the Dungeon, in a daze.

“He’s impossible…” Sara muttered with a bitter smile.

“Now, you know what we feel all the time…” Aileen responded with a sigh. “Being always left behind and all…”

“I feel you, sis…” Flor nodded helplessly.

“““Haaaa~”” The three women filled with complicated emotions let out a sigh while shaking their heads.

Taking the form of lightning, Allen flew around the Dungeon while dragging his brother; Garth Villaflores.

In the way, Allen saw many people as well as monsters but he has no time to waste, thus, for the monsters charging at them, he blasted them away.

Allen activated his [ Sonar ] to the very limits, almost covering the entire the Dungeon. There was as if a hologram within his mind and on it were blue dots as well as red dots. From the third to the fifth floor, All were filled with red dots… it means that there were no humans yet that had managed to enter the third floor of the labyrinth, in other words, his sister Layla was still around the first or the second floor.

Surprisingly, the entire floor was extremely big… as big as a soccer stadium.

While traversing, Allen looked at the screen displayed in front of him. He focused his attention to every blue dot he saw. Some of them should be Layla and the others!

“Brother, can you slow down a bit? I’m getting motion sickness, oh god; I’m going to vomit…” Blurrg, Allen heard a disturbing sound.

“Can you act serious for a moment, please!” Allen stopped moving and let go of Garth.

“Brother, you’re just too fast...” Garth answered with a pained expression.

“You’re the one who wanted to come!”

“Yeah, but not this way… can you please understand my situation? I’m extremely fragile, made of glass, work of the art… priceless…”

“Do you want me to kick you? Or punch you… choose.”

“Is that how you greet your long lost brother? By violence?” Garth protested.

“Of course not, I’m an advocate of pacifism and brotherhood is in my blood… I’m extremely harmless like a bunny hopping happily in Wonderland…” Allen muttered with a serious expression. “Can you shut up for a while or what? Do you have some carrots?”

Garth rolled his eyes. “Yeah, right… put some milk in it and you can drink it as a latte…”

“What are you talking about?”

“In other words, I’m calling your words bull*censored*.”

“Gosh, is mom not educating you enough not to say bad words?” Allen retorted. “Your mouth will become filthy…”

“Who are you calling filthy? I didn’t say anything bad words for the minor’s audiences, for heaven’s sake. Didn’t I add, cen-so-red with stars at each end…?”

“Whatever,” Allen shot a glare. “And stop talking for a minute. I’m looking for big sis right now…”

“So, did you found her?”

“I said I’m looking… not yet!”

Allen checks every blue dots reflected on the screen. But there were many blue dots scattered in the first and the second floor.
