Chapter 443: [ A Coward ]

Chapter 443: [ A Coward ]

These three men before Allen appeared to be around thirty or forty years old and they appeared to be fiendish looking with one of them had a long scar on his face.

They wore the same kind of light armor, the exposed muscles were dark and coarse; clearly, they were people that frequently operated outside. The one who appeared to be the oldest had a large tall frame with a ferocious looking face while a huge broadsword rested on his shoulders.

In contrast, the youngest looking one had a skinny frame; his facial features resembled that of a monkey with a sharp-angled mouth and he dragged a giant iron club that was over a meter long.

The last one had a face resembling a horse and also carried a giant iron club.

In terms of their strength, the highest was already at the Initial Emperor level while the lowest was also already at the Mid King level.

However, the two children appeared to only be nine or ten years of age. One boy and one girl, who was dressed in rough clothing, while each of their arms was separately dragged by one person, who walked them forward step by step. Tear stains that hadn’t dried up yet could clearly be seen on their faces.

Poor souls…

Surely not a harmonious family~

… if they were a real family that is…

As soon as Allen saw them, they also saw Allen. Almost unanimously, the three men stopped their feet at the same time; their eyes tightly locked onto Allen and glinted like that of ferocious wolves.

“Who’s there!!?” The leader of the group cried out menacingly.

Allen was standing on a low hill. He frowned but released it after an instant. The killing intent they showed on their ugly face annoyed them…!

“Well, what have we had here…” Allen looked down on the three. His voice clear but indifferent.

“Help! Please help us!!”

“Please save us!” As soon as the children saw Allen, they immediately cried out as if they had just found their savior. Sadly,

“Shut up!!” The skinny fellow kicked the boy and the girl angrily.

“What a rough fellow,” Allen’s pupil narrowed. This is surely child abuse.

“Friend, this is Strong Soul’s matter. If you don’t want to be implicated then ignore and forget what you see or else, you will regret it!”

“Strong Soul? Never heard of it~”

“You bastard!! Don’t you know that our Strong Soul is one of the largest mercenary companies in Water City!! You better scram or else…”

“Or else what?” Allen snickered.

The leader looked at Allen and his eyes narrowed dangerously. He couldn’t see Allen’s appearance quite clearly because of the bamboo hat but from his tender voice, he should be quite young.

“Friend… this is the last warning. Leave or we won’t have a choice but to use force…”

Use force…? “Scary, scary~” Allen chuckled. Then, he jumped from the small hill and slowly descended into the ground. His movements were casual and leisurely that after seeing this, out of the three men, only the skinny fellow didn’t show any reaction. But the horse face and the leader, both of their pupils shrunk.

This guy…

At this moment, the contempt on their faces slightly reduced. Vigilance appeared on their faces.

But Allen didn’t care. “Truthfully I couldn’t care less what you are doing. However, I’m also not that heartless to ignore a child’s plea—besides, unfortunately, you have somewhat broken one of my rules…”

“I never liked being threatened!” Allen’s draconic eyes gleamed.

“Interesting.” Said the leader while smiling. He immediately added: “This is what you had chosen. Don’t blame me in hell!”

“Small monkey, go and kill him.”

“Yes, boss.” The skinny fellow took a step forward and looked at Allen with an ice-cold glare while releasing a dense magic power.

Allen looked at him and laughed. He then said: “I am warning you, don’t attack. I never show mercy to those who want to kill me.”

“Die, bastard!” Shouted small monkey ferociously while throwing himself towards Allen. He released a brutal energy which created a hurricane as he attacked.

Seeing the small monkey’s burst of strength the two men nodded in admiration. It seems like that small monkey was not lazy in increasing his strength.

Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.

“BOOM!!”

Small Monkey’s iron club crashed into Allen’s chest causing his windbreaker to flutter in the wind; however, the smiles suddenly froze in place.

They could all clearly see that Allen was still standing, motionless, and his expression was unchanged. He hadn’t moved at all and he was clearly still conscious.

Allen wasn’t dead, he wasn’t even injured.

“Huh?” Small monkey was shocked. He had smashed his iron club into Allen again but Allen still remained completely motionless, like a huge mountain.

Seeing this, small monkey was dumbstruck. He raised his head and looked at Allen who was now laughing because he found the situation terribly amusing.

“How’s that possible? What’s going on!?”

Small monkey’s arms were shaking, the two men watching was astonished as well. Allen had just been rammed in the chest by small monkey multiple times with all his power and yet he hadn’t even moved an inch.

“I can’t believe this!!!”

Small monkey gave a loud roar as his eyes locked onto Allen. When he raised his giant iron club again, the club blazed in flames and then it even hurled out a dozen super-sized fireballs as it screeched and flew towards Allen.

Allen stood where he was; still unmoving, allowing the fireballs to land on him.

Poof, poof, poof, poof…

Bang!!! The flaming iron club smashed at Allen again accompanied by the fireballs exploding successively as they came into contact with Allen’s body.

The flames’ force was violently released, but after it touched Allen’s body, they became like stones that sank to the bottom of the sea, and burned out without neither sound nor causing the slightest bit of harm to Allen. Even his clothes weren’t affected at all.

“This, this is impossible!!” Small monkey was instantly terrified.

“So that’s how you were planning to kill me.” Laughed Allen coldly. He looked perfectly calm and unaffected by what just happened. Everybody was stunned, including the small children.

Although they had some inkling that Allen was certainly not simple, but they hadn’t thought of the possibility that the youth in front of them would be a very powerful person.

“This is an illusion!!” Small monkey stared at Allen in dread as his greatest and strongest move was defeated in an instant…

However, unfortunately for him, Allen would not care about him.

“I warned you before about attacking me.” Said Allen in a cold tone. He then slowly raised his hand, and then shot it on the man’s throat,

Suddenly, Allen’s hand started to move which frightened small monkey who started to quickly retreat.

However, as weak as he was, would he have a chance to retreat?

Allen’s hand immediately grabbed on small monkey’s throat and crushed it.

“Sa, ve…” Small monkey’s eyes widened in shock and fear, after grabbing his throat and convulsing, he slowly collapsed onto the ground, dead.

“Small monkey is dead?!” The leader was shocked and his heart was now palpitating even more violently. He was blankly staring at Allen’s figure.

He would never have thought that the delicate and handsome looking youth was actually a powerful man. This is absurd…!

“With just this power, you wanted to kill me. How ridiculous.” Joked Allen.

The two men glanced at each other. Feeling Allen’s aura that he had leaked during that instance…

The leader started feeling a bad premonition and his body unconsciously shivered. He nearly fell on his bottom in alarm. He suddenly recalled that this youth in front of him appeared to be only seventeen to eighteen years old, yet had the strength of someone above Emperor Realm. If not, how could he take small monkey’s powerful attack with just his physical body alone?

He didn’t suspect Allen to have used some skill to protect him because, even with his measly mana perception, he didn’t feel the least bit of mana fluctuation coming from Allen. Even the act of crushing small monkey’s throat was just pure physical strength!

But how? Even those with an invincible body and herculean strength needed to use their mana to create unbelievable feats and yet… this guy, if that was certainly a mere physical power then… isn’t he just a monster in human skin?!

Besides his appearance and age, aside from large God Clans, who else could groom such a monster?

The more the leader thought about it, the more he realized its possibility. All of a sudden, the leader started to sweat profusely. Had he known this fact earlier, he would not have dared to provoke him even if he had the courage of ten thousand. However, he had already provoked him…

An idea flashed through his mind. Promptly, he decided to kneel on the ground and loudly begged for forgiveness: “Sire, please spare our lives! The two of us had looked without seeing, wi… With your exalted status, please overlook this and let us go. We would be very grateful and will certainly change our evil ways!”

Seeing the sudden action, Allen can’t help but chuckle in amusement. This guy… so decisive…

Courage, insight, cunning, and resolution. He might look like a coward but… in battles; those who usually survive are cowards.

No matter how mighty a warrior is, no matter how much power and strength you possess… if your head was taken, then all is already lost.

Life… wealth… women… everything…

In this cruel world where power is everything, one had to not only have bravery and strength, but also a clear mind and acute senses.

There was never any shortage of battles and dangers in the Celestial Realm.

The people with the strongest combat abilities were not necessarily the ones that survived the longest. If one wanted to become a peak ranker, they had to live longer and experience more hardships than anyone else…

Humanity never lacked powerhouses. An innumerable amount of experts always emerged in the Celestial Realm, but the majority of them were like meteors – they would only flash for an instant before disappearing forever.

Thus, sometimes, being a coward was also not a shameful thing.

Allen wasn't blooded thirsty nor would he just kill without amnesty. He was about to speak when suddenly, his pupils contracted slightly.
