Chapter 700: [Daughter?!]
“Hahahahah,”
Allen let out a laugh, amused.
“I know that there is a price to pay for such actions but I will not be the one to pay the price, I am certain of that.” Allen glanced at the young woman when he said that he wouldn’t be the one paying the price.
He was talking extremely calmly which surprised everybody.
What Allen meant was clear to everybody. If she kept provoking him, the young woman should first think about her own safety and escaping this place alive!
Even Socratia was surprised and was blankly staring at Allen. Who is this youth? And something is strange with his aura—she actually couldn’t see what rank he is. It’s too messy and unstable… so vague, so blurry—it’s as if it existed at the same time not.
“Are you threatening me!?”
The young woman who had fallen into a daze from humiliation snapped back and heard Allen’s words, immediately understanding what he had meant. The mark left by Allen’s hand on her cheek still hadn’t disappeared.
“Oh, you are not as stupid as I thought… you understood that I was threatening you. Congratulations! Too bad, I had not prepared a reward,” Allen smiled sarcastically.
“You—!!”
“You better stop now. Maybe when you know who she is, you will not be as calm and serene as now,” said Socratia. She wanted to scare Allen. She wasn’t used to seeing such young people remain so calm and have so much self-control.
“She is…” She was about to say something but before she did, she suddenly heard Allen’s voice—
“…I know who she is…!”
“…?!!”
“But what does it matter? The 72 Pillars had fallen so low already… why does it matter who and which is now?” Allen sneered. Socratia was dumbfounded and so was the woman who was about to reveal her name. “…you are Lilith’s people, am I right?”
“…eh?!”
“…if that is the case, I advise you not to interfere in this matter…” Allen stops and turned at Socratia, glaring at her with a [God's Eyes]. Socratia felt like a frog being stared by a snake, and her body seemed struck by lightning, losing all her strength and energy. “…because even if she is here, as long as I want to destroy this place or kill all of you here, she would not care…trust me, she would rather all of you die, than argue with me…”
After saying that, Allen continued walking towards Asmodeus, leaving the stunned woman and Socratia, staring fixedly at his back.
Lilith?
Did he know the Great Lilith?
And what does he mean by what he had said?
… Who is he really?!
Socratia was puzzled. She looked at the woman sitting at Allen’s table. Her gaze shrunk slightly. It was Asmodeus.
Asmodeus was sitting leisurely and without care, even though something had happened just now. Her posture and other small things made Asmodeus look very elegant and noble.
There was an aura of nobility that emerged out of her which really made her look like a member of a royalty or a Great Clan. Socratia seemed less confident after having looked at Asmodeus.
Who are these people?
“Who is annoying my daughter?”
At that moment, a strong and loud voice spread through the atmosphere. It was coming from the room on the second floor. A silhouette then appeared and came down the stairs from the second to the first floor. That person looked incredibly imposing. He was only standing there and people could already feel oppressed by the demonic aura emerging from his body.
It was a middle-aged demon with bull horns, and eagle wings behind his back. His nose has a large nose ring on it and his muscle seemed like stones protruding from his tight clothes.
“Daddyyyy!” said the arrogant young woman who Allen slapped just now. She wanted to walk towards him but realized that she couldn’t. A strong and cold demonic aura was enveloping her body and she was couldn’t move at all. It seemed like if she tried to resist, she could die at any moment.
“How audacious!” said the bull-horned demon walking towards Allen, while releasing some oppressive demonic aura.
Zagan’s aura…
Allen felt somewhat nostalgic and his lips curled slightly.
As expected of a direct descendant of Zagan.
At that moment, the entire restaurant was filled with an oppressive demonic aura. Some of the people were ready to collapse because of that extremely strong aura and many were trying to move farther away. But for some unknown reason, Allen was still standing without care and seemed to be unaffected by anything…
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
But his silence was mistaken as fear by most people.
“Do you regret now?” said Socratia in a cold and detached tone. She hoped to see Allen express negative emotions and feelings such as fear or resentment. She didn’t know who he was but in the Demon World, there are many posers and arrogant demons who tried to pretend. Did he think that mentioning their master’s name would make him look strong and undefeated?
Who didn’t know about the Great Lilith….?
This boy who acts arrogantly before them was just a few years of age…did he really think no one would care about his age? And he even mentions that the Great Lilith would not dare argue with him? Who does he think he was?
Allen sneered, “I am not someone who regrets.” at that moment, a demonic aura exploded from him and the oppressing aura of the bull-horned demon was erased in an instant. And even a gust of wind seemed to have blown from within him, and the things around him, including the woman and Socratia couldn’t help but feel a pushing force that sent their bodies flying away.
The Bull horned demon who was acting arrogantly stops his advancement and stared at Allen with wide-open eyes.
He was shocked and startled by Allen’s sudden burst of aura.
“Who dares?!!”
At this moment a loud voice rang out from the second floor.
At that moment, incredible and astonishing energy invaded the atmosphere and made everything and everyone in the restaurant turned frozen.
People’s hearts were pounding.
They were terrified and frozen in terror.
“Who dares to cause strife in this place?!”
A long-haired beautiful lady with fair skin, considerable height, and long legs floated down from the second floor, with a fierce expression. Blood-red eyes and beautiful glossy scarlet dyed hair. Her skin was smooth and clear like that of a child, and her eyes were fine like those of a deer. Alluringly, she would blink her eyes from time to time, allowing her eyelashes to flutter like the wings of a butterfly.
Her well-groomed eyebrows harmonized with her forehead. Her nose was also wonderful. If one was to stare at her face for just a while, they wouldn’t be able to escape from the gripping radiance coming from her. Her seraph's ears were pierced by golden hoops that were concealed by her beautiful red hair.
Even her hands, feet, and body exuded beauty. She was currently in a red-colored casual T-shirt with denim jeans-like trousers, and her slender legs were wearing long black boots; she appeared youthful and beautiful—but her face was empty of emotion. Like a French doll, she seemed lifeless.
Her beautiful silhouette made males and female alike within the restaurant unconsciously follow her with their eyes. However—
“Everybody else, get lost.”
The atmosphere was getting colder and colder.
People were shaking from head to toe in fear.
“Young Lady!”
Socritia hurriedly kneeled he moment she saw the beautiful woman coming down.
However, the beautiful woman just ignored her and instead walks towards Allen—
“This aura… you, are you…father?!” her eyes widened in shock as she looks at him. Then, she started looking up at him from head to toe, daring to believe but could not.
“What?!”
Not only Socritia who was startled by the beautiful woman’s words but also Allen.
His eyes practically opened widely.
Why the hell is there a girl suddenly claiming him as her father all of a sudden?!
“I don’t know what you are talking about…but I sure know I never had a daughter like you~” Allen smiled wryly.
“No, this is not a mistake, your aura, I cannot mistake it for someone else!” The beautiful young woman frowned as she stared at Allen as if observing him carefully, “…my name is Lifilia, Lilith’s daughter! You are my father… Great Demon Prince Dante, are you not?!”
“…huh?!” Allen’s eyes widened in shock. “Yes, I am Dante… but I never had…”
“I knew it! Mom didn’t tell you…?”
The self-proclaimed daughter; Lifilia frowned.
“She sure did not,” Allen smiled wryly.
“Y, you’re Demon Prince, Dante?!!” Socritia stumbled backward. Her face pallid and in fear. So that is why he said that even if he massacres all the people here and destroy this restaurant, the Great Lilith would not even bat an eyelid for him!
So he was the Great Demon Prince; Dante!!!
“Demon Prince Dante?! Grutila!!” shouted the bull-horned demon loudly. He took a few steps towards the arrogant young woman, grabbed her and moved far away from Allen. Now he realized they really did mess someone that shouldn’t!
The Great Demon Prince Dante had returned to the Demon World!
This information was not a secret. But now, he was actually in front of them..?!
Trying to act tough in front of the Demon Prince? Isn't that just acting for a beating?!
“What the hell are you still doing here?” Lifilia turned at them and said coldly.
The bull-horned demon’s pupils shrank and his facial expression looked extremely hideous.
“Let’s go,” he muttered while moving his hand as a sign that it was time to leave. They left using the window and not the door on the ground floor.
“You’re not going to chase them?” Asmodeus walked over and asked.
Allen turned at her and shook his head.
“No… let them go, I owe Zagan quite a lot in the past life. But next time would be the end…”
“They would tell on you…”
Allen grinned. “Then, let them… In any case, Vergil should have already noticed that I am here…”
Asmodeus shrugs and didn’t say anything anymore. Allen turned at Lifilia. “You’re my daughter…you say…?”
“You didn’t meet mom?” She asked, skeptical.
“I met her… but she didn’t say anything…” Allen smiled wryly.
“That fool of a mother…!!” Lifilia gritted her teeth and cursed. Then, she turned at Allen and raised her shirt, revealing her chest. Allen frowned but he didn’t look away like a virgin boy and instead look over—not because he was a pervert who lusted upon his daughter but because he knows that Lifilia wouldn’t do this without reason.
No matter how open she is!
And indeed, on the center of her chest lies a strange tattoo—no, it was not a tattoo but an emblem in a form of a long double-edged sword with a snake coiling around its blade and a pair of wings at both sides.
“Mark of Belonging,” Lifilia muttered with a soft voice. “Every child of Lilith has one, to mark where they belong… at first, it was the mark of Lilith but after twelve years have passed, it would be changed into the mark of the Father to easily be identified. And just like what you see, I have your mark… the Mark of Dante…” Lifilia muttered, her face was still expressionless as ever. “I know your aura…because of this”
Allen’s brows furrowed.
When did…?
The last incarnation?
Seeing Allen’s silence, a small bit of disappointment flashed across Lifilia’s eyes, “…I only wanted to tell you… this action has no significance whatsoever, even if—”
“Nah, let’s set that aside for now…” Allen shrugs nonchalantly, “…and tell me all about you.”
“… …”
“Don’t think that I still doubt you…it’s not about that, I just want to hear the story, your story, that’s all…”
Allen smiled gently as he extended his hand and pat Lifilia’s head. The latter didn’t say or do anything though and her expression didn’t even change, “…then, follow me…”
What is that idiot doing? Why did she not tell me about this?! Allen couldn’t help but complain about Lilith. Though, within his mind, he can see Lilith laughing and saying, ‘I forgot hahahaha,’ with a silly expression on her face.
Allen suddenly born a thought of beating her up the next time they met.
… …
