Chapter 310: [ Maria Makiling ]

Chapter 310: [ Maria Makiling ]

The group consists of over twenty people- monster race and many other types of beastmen.

“Husband, don’t tease,” Alkrasha shook her head. “Are you all prisoners here?”

"Y, yes"

"E, excuse me... a, are you going to help us escape?"

One of the people in the crowd slowly stepped out and said with a very rigid voice.

Hearing her voice, it seemed to be coming from a teenage girl.

When Allen glanced at her, he realized that the girl was actually an elf.

An elf girl with golden hair and sharply pointed ears!

Although she's wearing very plain clothes, her exquisite-looking face cannot be completely concealed.

What is an elf doing here…?

“What are you doing here?”

“Hii!” Allen’s sudden question startled the poor little elf as it immediately retreated back.

“Ah, sorry,” Allen realized his mistake and apologize. “I just want to know, what is an Elf like you doing in this country… Aren’t you from the Elf Kingdom?”

“E, Elf Kingdom?” Seeing that Allen didn’t mean harm, the elf timidly walked over. “Are you saying… the kingdom of legend…?”

“Legend?” Allen frowned. Don’t tell me… “You are not from the Elf Kingdom… and your Queen isn’t Falis? Are you native here?”

Then, could she be… an Annani…?

Annanis are elves in Ibanag Mythology that look like human except for their pointed ears.

They have a wide knowledge of healing, longevity, and other secret arts which they sometimes share with human friends.

Legends say that as guardians of certain places they are unable to leave their territory, otherwise, they will fade away.

The elf nodded her head. “We, we are living somewhere in the east… I, I was kidnapped by the Ravenas, along with my friends…” The elf glanced at the back. There, a few Elves were timidly hiding.

Ravenas… huh…

Now that she mentions it – most birdpeople he had met up until now were indeed, have red and dark red feathers. Though he was certainly not interested in them. Thus he never noticed it~

So this is the setting of Ravenas and Mulawins…?

“If this is the lair of the Ravena, is there a race called Mulawin?”

“Y, yes!” The Elf nodded.

“I, I’m a Mulawin!” Suddenly, a bird looking woman with a feather headdress raised her hand. Beside her were several similar people.

The author's content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

“I see… that’s interesting…” Allen grins. Looking at them, Allen suddenly remembered a television series he had watched. It was extremely nostalgic and familiar that he subconsciously showed a gentle smile, almost caused the women to be charmed. Most women even started blushing, humans or not.

“What?” Alkrasha asked.

“No, nothing…” Allen smiled faintly. “Just curious…”

"W, we don't have anything of value that we can reward you but p, please help us..." The Elf bowed at Allen while gripping the helm of her clothes.

Allen shrugs. “Suit yourself…” He simply muttered before turning around.

“Wa, wait! You, you’re going to save them too?” Suddenly an unpleasant voice rang out. Turning his head, Allen found the human group staring at Allen in disbelief at the same time looking at the monster and beastmen in complete disgust and doubt.

“Di, didn’t you come here to save us? Then we can go now! We don’t need to save the likes of them!”

A man stepped forward. He looked obese with a fat stomach.

Though, judging from his suit, he looks like a rich man. Although worn out but one can still imagine its former state.

Hearing his words, the monster race and beastmen growled angrily at the man but they didn’t do any actions.

“So what?” Allen indifferently said. “Besides, aren’t you misunderstanding something…"

“What!?” The man was startled by Allen's indifferent expression.

“I didn’t come here to save you… you look so pathetic that I just freed you on a whim.” Allen stated coldly. The man immediately paled and his body trembling. He wanted to say something but he can’t seem to find any words.

“If you want to leave, then leave… not like I care. Let’s go,” Allen snorted before turning around and started walking deeper in the corridor.

The fat guy was struck speechless, his face turning green.

But neither Alkrasha nor Jayla cared about this little man as they both ignored the humans and followed Allen.

The Elf and the others hesitated for a moment before also following Allen.

The human group was left in the place, though after a few breaths of time, several people followed as well.

… …

… …

As expected of someone who really wanted to be a king, the king’s hall was quite flashy.

Floor-to-ceiling windows – though, that shouldn’t be the right word after all, instead of a wall, the king’s hall only has six pillars supporting the roof from the ground.

It was extremely open and if one looked down, one would be struck nausea due to the height.

On the ceiling, there were still many similar cages.

Allen and the others freed them but there was some monster race who wanted to attack them so Allen has no choice but to kick them outside.

Then Allen faced the queen.

She was sitting on the throne with glazed and indifferent icy cold gaze, staring at Allen and the others as if nothing concerns of her. She was extremely beautiful with light olive skin, long shining black hair, and twinkling eyes– though almost looked ethereal for some reason.

She looked human but Allen knows that she isn’t a human.

An Encantada … Allen opened Solomon’s eyes which were a skill acquired from the title; [ Master of All Demons and Spirits ].

She wasn’t moving nor reacting as she just stared at them.

“Poor Maria… The tyrant has cursed her… to become a doll…” A voice rang out.

Allen saw a three feet tall little man with bulging eyes, long pointed ears, red curly hair, and big bellies.

Followed by it, they suddenly took some kind of instruments and started playing a song – though, it was a very sad and mournful song that anyone who hears it would certainly cry in overflowing emotions.

Atros. Though in legend they are soul catching demons but at this very moment, they don’t seem like one.

“Poor Maria,” Another group fell on their knees in front of the woman. All of them were women barely three feet tall and with long flaming hair.

Burulakaw.

And still, many different monster and beast men followed, kneeling in front of the queen who was wearing a white dress.

Maria…?

The forest fairy… Maria Makiling…?

Allen’s interest suddenly sparks. His lips curled upwards.

“Husband?”

“Allen?”

Alkrasha and Jayla stared at Allen doubtful when he started walking towards the woman.

On the other hand, the moment they saw Allen, the crowd were startled and immediately tried to stop him. But before they could touch him, suddenly Woosh!! Something invisible, like a gust of wind, blew towards the crowd.

Then,

BaaaANG!!!
