Chapter 666: [Leviathan (2)]

As Princess Ilse was having a confused expression, rumbling sounds could be heard as a golden vortex of swirling electric sparks appeared at the very center of Allen’s clone which was slowly floating at the top of the bed. This vortex spun and then rose higher, creating a pillar of golden that rose up out of the room, piercing the ceiling and still high up into the air to where everyone could see it.

At this point, time seemed to have frozen, and the entire world seemed to have grown silent. Innumerable gazes were fixed upon the Palace of the Norse Clan where the golden light pillar was originated!

In the room—

At the center of the pillar, a small silhouette could be seen curling like a baby fetus, deeply unconscious. It was none other than Allen, no, it was the other personality—[Schwarz]. At the same time, his body was undergoing a strange change.

A layer of golden light appeared around his body. Despite the bright sunlight in the sky, the icy cold frost energy emitted from within his body covered him like a cocoon. The spider-web-like cracked flesh on his body was starting to heal up at a speed discernable to the naked eye. What was most shocking was that while his flesh was healing, his bones, muscles, internal organs, and even energy were being infused with a layer of pale bluish energy.

It was a nearly indescribable azure-colored ice cocoon, giving an impression that was even colder than the temperature within the room, yet still filled with a strange vibrancy and life. However, as this layer of pale-bluish light slowly spread out from within his body, there was a strange change development, as blue-colored fish-like scales appeared on top of his skin—similar to that of Allen's Demi-Dragon Form. His ears slowly turning into that of dorsal fin akin to that of a fish.

His long black hair had some dark blue strands of it, especially on his sideburns.

The reptilian tail was completely covered by azure scales with golden stripes and a small horn appeared on his forehead as well as on each side of his head, curving upwards like some sort of a crown. The horn on his forehead was much smaller with only the size of a thumb.

When this transformation slowly appeared, the frost cocoon slowly melted, turning into a blob of water where Allen’s form was suspended within it. Curling in a fetal position, the face akin to Allen was like that of a baby, peaceful and full of innocence. Seeing the face and expression of the person within the blob of water, Princess Ilse and the other finally heave a sigh of relief—he’s okay, they thought.

They thought that the commotion finally ended, but they were wrong!

A translucent image of a dragon suddenly appeared, coiling around the blob of water, startling the others. This Dragon was like a long serpent with beautiful azure-colored eyes that appeared to glow, coiling around the blob of water protectively. Then, it raised its head and let out a deafening roar, a shockwave blasted away everything from its surroundings, even the room was completely destroyed—Princess Ilse and the others jumped back from the Dragon’s threatening air. And that’s when Princess Ilse and the others saw it—

Now that they were outside, Princess Ilse and the others saw the sky above the entire Palace was filled with tempestuous lightning. Roaring sounds echoed out, as clouds piled on top of each other. Massive Thunderclouds had appeared in the blink of an eye.

“This is—?!” Princess Ilse stared above her with a dumbfounded expression.

What is happening…?

They didn’t know.

They could only watch the scene in silence—waiting for the person before them to wake up.

The Thunderclouds were shocking to the extreme. Anyone who looked at them couldn’t help but stare wide-eyed with disbelief and shock. The reason was that these Thunderclouds were simply gargantuan!

They covered all of Asgard!

From out in the sky, it looked as if Asgard had turned into one giant mass of clouds. All of the entire city was shaken as… the area covered by the Thunderclouds… continued to grow!

Even Eric Thor was flabbergasted as it the thunderclouds, no, the lightning itself, seemed to be foreign to him. He had tried communicating with it but it was completely ignoring him. He had tried controlling it but it’s as if he was trying to grasp something from someone’s hand, extremely difficult.

Someone is controlling all these thunder and lightning! Eric immediately concluded. But who? Who in the entire Asgard can control such majestic elemental?!

“W-w-what is happening in Asgard right now!?!?”

That was the question running through the trembling minds of all the observing people.

… …

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

As of this moment, the people of Asgard were shocked, the members of the Thor Clan were shocked, and the God Tyr, Princess Ilse, Eerika, Elena and all other people who were watching while knowing who was causing this spectacular scenery, were… completely shocked!

Their eyes were wide and their minds reeled as they saw the Thunderclouds cover Asgard, and then spread out continuously.

“This aura—!!”

“What… what kind of aura is this?”

“Someone is descending!?” The God Tyr exclaimed in shock. “The God of Lightning and Thunder was descending?! How is it possible!!”

His gaze turned towards the boy who was peacefully sleeping as if it was unrelated to him, all while curled in a fetal position as if he was a newborn, within the blob of water—was he a God of Lightning and Thunder?

A High God?

…How can that be possible…?!

This power is almost similar to that of the War God Thor, the Olympian Zeus or the King of Heaven; Indra!

However, the God Tyr noticed something. No, it wasn’t him, all the other Elders, including Princess Ilse, felt something wrong—this is not just a God’s power, in fact, a Celestial power that is contaminated with Demonic Power. It has some holiness on it but it exudes greater demonic miasma—

Then, under the eyes of everyone, the Dragon that was protecting the Blob of water entered it and into the boy’s body—

[Leviathan]

A demonic name appeared within their minds the moment they saw the dragon after feeling the aura.

The [Demon Prince of Envy].

There is no mistaking it!

The Demon Prince of Envy is awakening…!

The God Tyr’s expression fell and a heavy shadow veiled on his face. He clenched his fist and his golden sword appeared. With a frown, he started walking towards the pulsating water, but before he could reach the fourth step, Princess Ilse appeared on his path.

“Princess of the Frost Giant…is there a possibility that that boy had been possessed by the Leviathan?”

The God Tyr managed to calm down after seeing the girl’s serious and threatening expression.

If that happened, then, Asgard would surely be done for!

The Demon legion was just waiting for an opportunity and now, a Demon Prince is descending...?

“Look!” But instead of an answer, Princess Ilse pointed her finger towards the thing that appeared above the suspended blob of water—a magic circle with a strange octagon inside it was floating above it. Some strange language was written around the outer circle while a black metallic skull with a pair of horns.

Within the inner circle was a long snake, eating its ail—revolving around the octagon. Under this strange magic circle emblem was a black cloud with a golden lightning spark intersecting it—“…the symbol of Incarnation—it means, he is undergoing an [Incarnation Transformation]!” Princess Ilse muttered in cold voice.

“… …”

“… And I don’t think I would need to tell you who can cause an [Incarnation Transformation] other than the owner…?” Princess Ilse snorted. “Possession? It’s not—that is basically my husband. Though I don’t know why he has the aura of the infamous Leviathan but he is ‘My Husband’! And not some Demon Prince of Envy!” She then glared at the God Tyr, “If you attack him now, you will be my enemy, Asgardian!”

The God Tyr’s hands clenched tightly into fists, veins bulging on his forehead. “So be it…!” He had already created a mistake due to misunderstanding before and caused ‘Allen’ to be in a coma and he doesn’t want to create another mistake again.

Princess Ilse and the one named Allen is not an enemy—although they are not truly allies either. However, creating an enemy out of them in their situation is an fool's decision!

“I hope it’s not a mistake, Frost Giant…!”

Furthermore, behind the youth’s back was none other than, the High God Athena—he had learned this a few days ago and he had gotten a fierce argument with the Wisdom Goddess after learning of what he had done, even reaching to the point of him being threatened by the Wisdom Goddess. Hence, he doesn’t want to repeat such a mistake.

However, regarding Allen, he really couldn’t help but feel complicated.

This power already transcends his—a High God…!

To be able to create an Incarnation, just how strong is the real one…?

... ...

Athena in the Olympus felt the sudden surge of power and looked up into the Heavens.

She had a complicated relationship with Allen, and as of this moment, her mind was in chaos. She had expected that Allen would reach true God Ascension, as he was an original God, to begin with. There would be no blockage in his path to Godhood. However, she simply couldn’t wrap her mind around the fact that, although there’s no sign of ascension yet, he had already possessed this kind of power.

The fierce aura covering the entire heavens is just so incredibly unbelievable.

Just how far are you going to go…old friend…?

... ...

In Hell.

“Is Leviathan waking up? Isn’t this unexpected…?”

A black-robed person frowned as he looks at the dark sky after feeling something.

“…no, you are wrong Mammon…” Vergil was always staring at the sky, his lips curling upwards. Excitement filling his eyes, “This is ‘him’…!”

“What? That is impossible! You mean Dante?! But this amount of power…!”

“I told you before, Mammon… my brother is someone that wouldn’t follow the script you’ve written. Weak? Heh, that’s stupidity—the moment he stepped in the soil of the Celestial Realm, the hand that had stopped turning has once again started working—the broken clock once again ticking!”

“… …” Mammon frowned. His eyes gleamed dangerously as he really never expected Vergil’s premonition would come true—Dante would chase him in a blink of an eye. But this timing is just the worst, the unsealing is already halfway—it must not be disturbed!

Vergil watches the miasma around Mammon grown thicker and he couldn’t help sneer inwardly—that’s what you get for looking down on mortals, Mammon.

Especially ‘him’!

Never underestimate Mortals, Mammon, the One True God favored them for nothing—and that being now is my Brother…!

Vergil grinned evilly as he stood up and walked towards the deepest chamber with casual steps.

“What are you going to do now? Don’t you think you need to do your part now? Dante cannot be left alive any longer!”

Vergil halted but he didn’t turn around. “Not yet. It’s not the time yet—I want to fight him in the best stage and the greatest and memorable moment of history! Furthermore, he’s not yet ripe for the picking. I want to fight him in his best!”

“You are insane, Vergil. This is not a Game we’re playing!” Mammon cried out in anger.

“…but this is Mammon… this is our Game…!” Vergil grinned and he resumed walking, disappeared in the darkness of the corridor. "And you are welcome to join if you want," Vergil laughed heartily and started walking away.

“…bastard!” Mammon cursed inwardly. “…if you don’t want to do it, then I will do it—I might not be able to move yet due to the ritual but that doesn’t mean the others couldn’t—!!” He snorted and left angrily. “Let’s see if he really what you think him to be, Vergil…!”
