Sara suddenly raised her head from the screen and stared at Jayla, “By the way, are you also going to come with us? Jay?”
Jayla was, although it’s kinda unfair to say this, but she was an outsider to the group. She just happened to come with them and hitchhiked a ride. Thus, it’s normal to think that she would stay here and separate with them – though, Sara prefers for Jayla to join their adventure.
“Of course, I will,” Jayla answered, rolling his eyes at her. As if she would leave Allen alone.
“Hm,” Sara narrowed her eyes and the corner her lips curled upwards. “As I thought, right?” She glanced at Mireya and Aileen.
Mireya nodded with an ‘I noticed since the beginning’ look while Aileen flashed a malicious grin.
“What?” Jayla frowned seeing their funny expressions.
“You fell for Allen,” Aileen spoke with a mischievous tone. “Probably that’s the reason why you come with us in the first place. Besides, I haven’t seen your family you said you wanted to visit, ever since we arrived here~”
“In other words,” Mireya said, her face saying ‘I’m Sherlock, bro’ “You lied to us and did it because you wanted to be with Husband…”
Jayla’s eyes widened in shock. “No!” She cried out, her expression like a startled rabbit. “I,” She wanted to deny it but after seeing Mireya, Aileen and Sara’s assured expressions, she couldn’t help but sighed. “Fine, I lied… but I did it for other reasons than, that fa, fa…” Jayla’s expression turned brilliant red and her ears almost started smoking. “–Fa, falling for him…”
Aileen and the others didn’t reply and instead cast her doubtful and suspicious glances, clearly not believing her. Jayla could only sigh, she then took out the necklace she was wearing. It was a superior mythic rank artifact that increased the holder’s regeneration ability; gives two healing skills as well as strengthens her healing-type abilities.
However, aside from those convenient effects, there was still one convenient ability of the necklace.
Jayla caressed the big green jewel in the pendant and in a blink of an eye two golden lights came out. These two lights materialize into two swords in her hands, one small, one big. Then her entire body lit up and transformed. Under the three women dumbfounded expression, Jayla turned into...
“F*ck!!” Aileen subconsciously cursed out loud!
Sara jumped out from the couch and stood, stunned and speechless. Her jaws hanging open.
Mireya, on the other hand, was a bit calm compared to the two women but her eyes widened in shock.
It was none other than, Layla! Allen’s beloved big sister!!
“Layla!!!?”
“Sister Layla!!?”
“Hey,” Layla smiled and waved her hand, awkwardly. Her face blushed as she spoke, “I know what you all want to say but hear me out first,”
“… …”
“I know what I did, but I wanted to be with Allen and take care of him. It’s my duty since I was born but I know that he wouldn’t bring me along due to the danger so I disguised myself to stay.” Layla said with a bitter smile. “Can you hide this from Allen… I won’t ask anything just, let me stay with you and adventure with my brother… please?”
“… …” Sara looked at the others. Aileen shrugs while Mireya only nodded understandingly. Seeing this, Sara didn’t have a choice but to agree. Though lying to Allen gives a bitter taste in her mouth but, she can’t do anything about it, as Jayla’s best friend and Allen’s lover…

Layla happily smiled as small tears flowed from her eyes. She bowed expressing her gratitude – at this moment,
KNOCK! KNOCK!
Layla was startled and immediately returned her appearance to Jayla.
“Come in,” Sara said as she returned towards Jayla’s side.
“Hey, sorry for disturbing your rest,” Who entered the room was Mayla wearing her usual khaki uniform. She stepped inside while wearing a smile.
“Do you need anything?” Jayla asked softly.
“That is,” Mayla paused for a while as she looked around the room. She seems to be looking for something, no , someone.
“Can we help you?” Sara asked curiously.
“Actually, where is the man, ah no, where is he?”
Mireya frowned. Aileen and Sara also did the same, confused. Mayla seems to be strange… odd. He? Is she talking about Allen?
“Are you looking for Allen?” Jayla who was extremely gentle didn’t find anything odd and responded, still with a smile. “Yeah, right! Him, Where is Allen?” Mayla cocked her head to the side and stared at Jayla, waiting for her answer. “He’s –”
But before Jayla could answer, Aileen and Mireya sprung into action. They both rushed towards Mayla, Claws, and Blades pointing at her. Sara, on the other hand, immediately stepped in front of Jayla protectively, her eyes turned into glowing cat eyes.
“Wha!?”
Aileen was the first to reach her with her super quick speed as she reappeared behind Mayla, her blade circled on Mayla’s neck. However, at this moment, a snake suddenly came out from Mayla’s back and sprung towards Aileen. Startled, Aileen buzzed and disappeared, avoiding the fatal snake.
Mireya was already inches away from Mayla but suddenly, Mayla turned into a small rat, avoiding Mireya’s claws. All eyes turned at the rat which, after taking a distance from them gradually turned big and become a silhouette.
A woman with long black hair and tanned skin. Her eyes ruby colored and her face, neck, arms and probably entire body, tribal and strange tattoos could be seen. Shh! The woman hissed and then jumped towards the window, escaping to the outside.
“What was that?” Aileen asked.
“I don’t know, but it should be an enemy!” Mireya answered.
“But it’s looking for Allen!!” Sara exclaimed. “We can’t let it escape! Pursue her!!”
To her words, Mireya and Aileen immediately moved. Sara remained, guarding Jayla against any mishaps.

Outside the Mansion, on the courtyard where Allen and Alkrasha fought before, stood Mireya and Aileen, both in their battle stances. Aileen wields daggers in both hands while Mireya summoned icicles floating above her. In front of them was the woman, no monster a while ago.
It tried to escape but due to the brilliantly shining sun, it’s transformation as undone and she was momentarily blinded. Like Vampires and Undead, the monster’s weakness seems to be the sun…
“Wait,” The monster cried out as she saw Aileen was preparing to kill her. “I’m not here to fight!” She yelled out, anxiously.
“Then why are you here?” Mireya frowned.
“I’m here to see… the king…”
“King?” Aileen halted her movements and curiously asks.
“Are you talking about my husband?” Mireya cancels her attack as her voice somewhat softened after seeing the woman nodded her head vigorously. “What do you want with my husband?” She asked.
“I want to ask for help…” The woman begged as she suddenly kneeled.
“How can I help then?” Suddenly as the woman lowered her head, she felt something blocking the sun and it wasn’t a parasol nor was it an eclipse. A shadow was reflected on the ground.
“Husband?”
“Allen?”
The woman raised her head and her heart almost leaps into her mouth. She can’t seem to find her voice as she saw the one she was looking for, standing right in front of her. Silver hair with crimson eyes. The man entitled by the elder of her tribe, King of Monsters.
Allen was topless with only a beach short. His silver hair is a mess– his blood colored eyes bold and dazzling.
He looked at her. Confident, sexy, eyes blazing and the woman’s heart begins to pound. Just like what the Elder had said, you will know it yourself if he really is a king. Now, she knows what she was talking about. She felt as if she was just a small ant wanting to see the sun. Her blood’s pumping through her body.
“Things seemed pretty noisy, so I just decided to check it out,” Allen said as he flashed a smile towards Aileen and Mireya who was walking towards them. “Although I apologize for butting in so suddenly, but what’s going on around here?” asked the silver-haired youth.
“… …”
“A monster came looking for you. We thought it might be an enemy so we confronted it, but it was suddenly saying weird things…” Aileen replied nonchalantly.
“Weird things?” Allen’s face became cloudy as he heard the explanation.
“Yeah, she wanted to ask you, the King for help to some unknown matters,” Mireya slowly walked towards Allen.
“Ho? Now, that’s interesting…” Allen returned his gaze back to the woman.
