Chapter 118: [ Unstable. ]

Chapter 118: [ Unstable. ]

Allen returned his gaze towards the black clothed figures.

“What, what should we do?” one of the assassins asked nervously. “He’s not… normal.”

He had now realized the danger they were currently in. He felt as if any moment now, he would be oppressed to the ground due to the heavy pressure smashing on him. And he was certain that, even if someone’s strength was exceedingly high, they wouldn’t be able to move under this kind of oppression.

The black clothed youth in front of him is not simple… no, it should be he’s terrifying. Three assassins were even dealt in an instant, worse, he didn’t even lift a hand.

How is that possible…!!?

“I thought the target is just a beast tamer with strong monsters,” another man said with a note of fear in his voice. “This sh*t is not what I was told!!”

“Shut your mouth,” snarled one of the men. “Whatever it is, this is the mission entrusted to us! We are already here, we can’t turn back any longer.”

“But Big brother…”

Finally, in what had to be the last, desperate move to escape from the terrifying reality, that man pulled a pistol from his back waist and emptied the clip into Allen. The ejected cartridges hit the ground, each of them making a faint pinging sound.

He shot at point-blank range, no less than two feet away. No way could he miss…and he didn’t.

The bullets passed through Allen’s undefended body and struck the tree standing behind him.

“Wushuang!!”

““Young master(Master)!!””

Liu Muxiao and the others cried out in alarm and almost rushed over when Allen tilted his head and smiled nonchalantly.

Their eyes grow wide and their jaws hanging open.

What the-!?

What happened?

Abruptly the gun clicked empty and it fell from the man’s suddenly-nerveless hand. “What-!? How can this be possible?!!” he screamed in fear as well as frustration.

Allen was still standing as if nothing had happened.

“Seriously, a gun?” Allen smiled wryly. “A martial artist, used a gun? What is that?”

“Y-You monster!!”

“Yeah, yeah monster here~” Allen shrugged his shoulder.

“As I thought, you’re not from the Tang Sect.”

!?

“You used throwing needles before to turn the blame to the Tang Sect, isn’t it? But sadly, I had fought the Tang Sect before so I’m pretty knowledgeable about their techniques.” Allen spoke. Just now, throwing needles are well known hidden weapons used by Tang Sect so using that beforehand is like saying, ‘they were the Tang Sect’.

However, not hidden weapons but they are also using guns… although not rare but, among martial artists, using guns aren’t quite common. After all, they were all fond of using martial arts, weapons and martial techniques to fight.

Hearing Allen’s words, the assassins momentarily trembled.

“Now we can only finish him off as soon as possible sparing no effort.” Looking at Allen in front of them, the man gritted his teeth and pulled out his sword.

The gun had already lost its effectiveness. It was meant to be for assurance but who would have known that their target was actually a monster that wouldn’t be hurt by guns…?

Really, it seems like out of horror movies…

“But Big Brother can we really win?” Looking at the man acting like their leader, one of the assassins asked anxiously.

If guns are already ineffective, then doesn’t it mean that the man before them is already unkillable?

“We don’t have a choice! We are already here! Even if we die, we can’t bring trouble back home!” The leader of the assassins spoke with firm determination.

Nodding their heads, the assassins one after another pulled their weapons. Saber, sword, spear… all of them immediately entered their battle stance.

The leader held his sword as he retrocedes to the back. He then arrived beside one of the assassins and said in a whisper, “Young lady, it's better if you escape now. This mission has already failed. We will give you time so you should-!”

“No! I can’t do that! I will stay here and also fight!” but the assassin shook her head.

“Young lady!”

“I am not a coward! I am not afraid of death!” The assassin gritted her teeth.

“Besides, if I turn back right now, I would just end up like those three people, dying without even fighting back.”

“But young lady, the house would be implicated if you are known…”

“Even still.” The assassin was stubborn and hard headed.

Allen watched them with cold and indifferent eyes.

“…Trouble, ey,” Allen pitch black eyes narrowed and his smile turned cold.

“Well, even if you try to, escaping is impossible.”

When those words fell, Allen’s figure vanished as if he was turned into a flash of lightning.

Watching this scene, the assassin’s heart turned cold. But before they could react,

“I can kill you easily, one by one without you even noticing it but that wouldn’t be fun…”

Allen reappeared beside the nearest assassin. In his hand, a small dagger was twirling through his fingers. Of course, this small dagger was a product of a skill.

[ Equip Skill: Infinity Armament ]

A super convenient skill that could make any kind of weapon as long as he desires it.

However, what made the Assassins despaired was that, on the edge of the small dagger, a trickle of blood could be found.

And the assassin beside Allen was motionless even after his surprising reappearance.

“Bu Cang!!”

The leader called out but before he could move, the assassin beside Allen fell with a ‘Thud’ sound. In his neck part, covered by a black cloth, blood flows into the ground.

He had died without knowing it.

“Bu Cang!!” The leader cried out in despair after seeing the assassin fell to the ground. Surely, he had already died.

And this fact gave him another despair.

What happened?! He had just disappeared less than a minute ago, how come one of them was already dead?!

Is this still possible?

Allen looked at the corpse with an ecstatic smile. It’s as if he had enjoyed what he had done.

In fact, Allen was really not boasting. He could kill these assassins easily without even them noticing it. After all, he possesses a skill called [ Invisibility ].

Although it only hides his body and not his overall presence so it would not work against people with high perception. However, Allen was also not new to hide his presence.

If he wanted, he could hide his aura, breath, and presence at quite a high level that won’t even be the slightest inferior to high-level assassins.

With [ Invisibility ], even if he was in front of you, you wouldn’t still be able to notice him.

“Wushuang!” Liu Muxiao called out but she was stopped by Tang Yu.

Tang Yu shook her head.

“What are you doing, Tang Yu? Something is definitely wrong with the young master!” Sun Lingling asked worriedly.

Smiling as if excited while killing without batting an eye, certainly, that was not how usually Allen was.

Something is certainly wrong!!

She also wanted to stop Allen but she was instead stopped by Tang Yu.

“I have seen the young master like this before.” Tang Yu said with great gravity.

"Mentally, currently the young master is unstable." Tang Yu showed a pained expression. “The time you and Lady Xue Ling died, the young master turned into like this. No matter what you do, you can’t stop him.”

“What do you mean?” Liu Muxiao asked.

“It’s Dark Young master.”

“Dark young master?”

“Un. It’s what Lady Si Ning called him before. Young master would change sometimes and become ruthless.” Tang Yu shook her head as she explained helplessly.

“Although this time it should be considered light, not like the last time where he was like a real demon...”

Tang Yu was about to say more when Liu Muxiao took over the conversation.

In a sure voice, she said, "Then what? Let Allen be? That’s impossible! We need to do something!"

It was her turn to cut someone off. Tang Yu’s steely eyes met with the girl's and she spoke in a loud voice so she was sure to be heard. “No, I think we should let him be… especially you, Lady Muxiao.” Tang Yu glared at Liu Muxiao with disdain flashing in her eyes.

From what she heard from their conversation a while ago, she could deduce some things but, it doesn’t mean she would act familiar with her.

“The young master is not normally like this but with your appearance, he suddenly turns into this, do you think there’s such coincidence?” Tang Yu said coldly.

“That’s…”

“Tang Yu!”

Tang Yu ignored Sun Lingling and started walking towards Madam White. “…you better stay back for now. Right now, young master is certainly unstable. If you still interfere, it might do harm to young master…”

Liu Muxiao was stunned. But she didn’t say anything and could only clench her fists in frustration.

Sun Lingling, on the other hand, let out a sigh as she stayed standing beside her. She also never expected for things to turn into this.

If one just thinks about it clearly, Allen really has a point. Although he hadn’t known about the child matter, still if the one who you treated as a normal friend all this time, where you often see each other and yet, not once she had told you she was actually the woman you once loved and had forgotten, what would you feel?

Although she treated you as a friend but, isn’t that just like treating him as a stranger?

That would certainly be painful…

However, it’s not like she didn’t saw where Liu Muxiao’s decision was also coming from.

Both of them didn’t do any wrong. One for the sake of many people while the other was hurt for being lied to by the one he once loved…

Huh, the reality in itself is certainly cruel…

No, the world was the one who is cruel…

--- ---

While the other three women thought about a different problem, Allen’s fight was also continuing.

The moment they had seen their comrade died, the assassins finally moved. With their weapons, they rushed towards Allen.

“All of you kill him with me!” Seeing Allen standing there leisurely, the acting leader immediately gave the order to attack.

Hearing his command, all the assassins tried to overcome the fear in their heart and brazenly initiated assault towards Allen.

“Humph!” Seeing the assassins rapidly rushing towards him, Allen just snorted coldly in disdain.

As the distance gradually narrowed, and when Allen and assassins were about to make contact, Allen heavily stepped on the ground, then soaring high up in the sky, and raising the small dagger in his hand, he rapidly rushed forward.

Ping!

The small dagger perfectly repelled one of the assassins saber upon landing.

In a series of moves almost too fast for eyes to follow, Allen ducked under the second sword swing from behind him and snapped himself into the dragon mindset.

Like a beast roaring in excitement, Allen’s pitch black eyes flashed. His lips turned into a smile.

No holding back.

He formed his hands as if I were gripping imaginary tennis balls and launched himself at the assassin in front.

Like a dragon clawing, he dug his fingers into the abdomen, twist it and then sends a pushing force towards him.

Boom!!

As if an explosion sounded, the assassin hit by the palm was send flying, hurtled through the air while spitting blood, and crashed into a nearby tree.

Bugaa-!!

Allen was still not finished as he put his both hands on the ground and did a handstand, but it was no ordinary handstand as he did a roundhouse kick, hitting the one behind him.

And this was no ordinary kick as Allen possess the skill [ Heavy Legs ]; a passive skill that increased his legs’ strength and power. In other words, Allen’s kick is almost or even above that of a horse’s back kick!

Because of the force of the kick, the assassin behind Allen flew in the air and then violently crashed into the ground.

“Sword against the heavens!!” As Allen send the other one flying, a somewhat feminine voice rang out above him. Another assassin raised her sword, flashing as if it wanted to cut the air.

A woman…?

“Stubborn…”

And just after Allen had spoken, wind breaking sound suddenly resounded from the sky behind him. But Allen’s complexion didn’t change; just exerting force in his right leg, his body directly changed into a blur and disappeared from that location.

[ Phantom ]

Peng!

Slash!

A wind blade struck the ground, creating a long fissure while from the opposite direction, a spear struck a rock.
