Chapter 544: [ Beast Wave! (4) ]

Chapter 544: [ Beast Wave! (4) ]

—Yes, master. Can you give that huge snake to me…?—

A pleading voice rang out within Allen's mind, amusing him.

“Be my guest~” Allen shrugged as he extended his hand, stroking Bulan’s large snakehead. Then, he turned towards the left forest where Lady Liu Yifei and the others stood stunned. He grinned, “…how about you? Satisfied just being a spectator…?”

“...My, you are really… a man full of surprises…” Lady Liu Yifei muttered with a wry smile after a long time of being speechless.

She doesn't know what to say and could only praise simply...

“…you still haven’t seen it all…” Allen grinned mischievously. “Anyway, they are coming… if you want to leave and escape, I won’t mind.” He shrugged, then, several lights came out from his chest, landing around him in a circular formation.

“…I have them with me…”

“…?!!!”

He was then, surrounded by several people, no beings--his tamed beasts!

They stood proudly and full of elegance and nobility.

All while exuding a terrifying pressure and auras, giving them a warlike impression!

"Master...here I comes!"

In front of Allen, stood like a fearless knight was a half a meter tall Rhodent like bipedal creature, proudly and smugly all while crossing its arms in front of its chest.

Its body was covered with beautiful golden fur, and brilliant ruby eyes that shines in an intelligent glow. It was wearing a western hat, a pair of black gloves and boots, like a certain Cat in boots. At his waist was hanging a small rapier, which was almost as tall as her.

—[ Akrabolt Type: Beast Level: 6 Offense: B Defense: B - ]—

Small as she was, this small rodent; Lightning, was extremely strong— armed with higher intelligence and quick wit, she was trained in combat martial and sword arts by Allen and others, becoming proficient in fighting like a human, just after being discovered of possessing high wisdom and intelligence.

And Allen was not disappointed!

She was a prodigy in terms of learning martial arts!

Whether it be talent or comprehension, she was a genius.

She learned extremely quickly!

Whatever movements Allen and the others made, she could perfectly imitate them and make them her own. Her only problem was her understanding of human nature. She sometimes fell for an easy feint, or the cunningness of a human during a fight when survival and desperate emotions kick in. Well, Allen thought that it really didn't matter for now. This was something that required time to slowly learn and incorporate. It couldn’t be rushed, the more one rushed, the longer it would take to properly learn.

Furthermore, she is capable of summoning bolts of lightning and capable of charging electricity throughout her whole body.

This is because she has special organs in her body found in her head, limbs and chest that generate these powerful electrical shocks and is used as a defense or against threats or attack. Using this lightning, she has the ability to move in quick lightning speed, making him a deadly combatant…!

“Master… I can kill…?” Lightning turned around and asked Allen while grinning, showing her sharp fangs.

“Just be careful…” Allen affectionately rubbed her head.

Lightning showed a joyous smile from Allen’s response—though, seeing a rodent making a grim smile sure is terrifying enough…!

Next to her, was a quadrupedal creature with the same height as Lightning, closely resembling a cat. It was Grim, remaining indifferent, while leisurely grooming her right paw. She currently looked like a long, lean and slender Persian cat, with a sleek jet black fur.

She had long tufted ears like that of a rabbit and furry mane with a purple color. Her eyes were like a pair of beautiful amethyst gems with an almond-shape and silver pupil. In addition, her four paws were unlike her body’s color, on the contrary, it was clean snow white with pink skin on the bottom.

—[ Abyssal Soul Stealer Type: Beast Level: 6 Offense: B Defense: B+ ]—

However, what’s more, noteworthy on her current appearance was the three purple jewels encrusted on its forehead, just above its eyes. The center jewel was a bit bigger while the right and left side appeared the same. Her eyes slanted as she roamed her gaze around, seeing nothing but dirt and trees, “Oh god… another forest,” The beautiful cat rolled her eyes, expressing her displeasure.

“Master, this place smells disgusting…” she turned around and started walking towards Allen, then, jumped into Allen’s embrace.

Obviously, Allen caught her gently--although this cat was arrogant to the bone, but in front of Allen, she was actually quite meek and a dear.

Allen sigh, “I’m going to fight, so if you don’t want to do it, then sit in some safe place and watch,” he muttered. “

…that’s why I hate violence…” she murmured in response. “Full of savagery, no class, no beauty, and completely uncivilized. Master, if you want to kill an enemy, just order these barbarous bunch and leave it to them…just rest with me…!” She raised her right paw as if trying to express her opinion and then pointed towards a pack of three-meter-tall wolves.

They were once the Wind Wolves but now, along with Allen’s advancement as well as their accumulated experience form the battles up until now, they had undergone many evolutions in which, should have been impossible.

To evolve even once is already a miracle for ordinary monsters. However, due to Allen’s complicated nature that was a complexity of itself and a miracle of nature, they were affected as well, causing several mutations of their genes whenever Allen advance a step up—more so, Allen has already stepped in the Realm of God, and was only a few steps away to become a real true God.

Thus, their rapid advancement that could make almost all monsters die in jealousy!

—[ Frost Woragon Type: Beast Level: 6 Offense: A Defense: B+ ]—

—[ Frost Wolfang Type: Beast Level: 6 Offense: AAA Defense: AA- ]—

The pack of Frost Woragon was now number in fourteen. They look like normal white wolves with snow-white fur as if they had reverted to their initial appearance. However, a notable difference can be seen at first glance. The back of the four legs of the creatures was now covered in ice-like crystal spikes. Their claws heavy developed to have longer silver ones and they grew a longer pair of fangs, like a sabertooth.

There is one horn on their forehead, akin to that of a unicorn, having a spiraling ridge from base to tip. Its majestic azure mane running down from its head down to its long bushy tail was standing on end as if charged with static.

As for the leader of the pack, the Frost Wolfang was even larger—four to five meters tall in height. With a beautiful snow white fur, and had three striking violet stripes at each side of her body, like stripes of a tiger, drawn from a claw. Its mane is sky blue with light purple tips and its eyes are a luminous red.

Just like the other wolves, it had a horn on its forehead and a pair of long fangs, sharp as swords. With long heavily developed claws. And just looking at it gives other an expression that they can tear apart steel like paper!

Unlike Woragons, the Wolfang doesn’t have crystal spikes covering her legs, and instead was a ball of fluffy hairball that appeared like a cuff. However, she possesses an ability to encase her legs with ice, creating a kind of armor, causing all of her attributes to double. Also, probably due to Allen and Mireya’s influence, Frost Wolfang now possess the ability to shapeshift into a human form, causing Allen to change her name from Tiaowen to Elsa. Sadly, because she only has the ability to shapeshift, not really her human form, she has no proper appearance and instead, took Mireya’s appearance as her own, with a bit of difference whenever she assumed a human form.

“No can do…I’m also itching for a fight.”

Allen shook his head in refusal, gaining Grim’s disappointed expression.

“Fine…” she rolled her eyes in helplessness. Then, her expression changed into a sharp look completely different from her usual droopy one. She raised her right paw, “…I’ll join as well. And,” Kasshing!! sharp claws suddenly came out from her paw—her claws were steel, almost the same as the infamous Wolverine.

“I’ll end this immediately!” she grinned wickedly, showing her sharp canines.

She was now different from before—at first, she was a scaredy cat because aside from her lazy character, she knows that she was extremely weak and would just be defeated. She is scared of death! But now, she was confident that even if the guardian of hell, Cerberus would appear in front of her, she could kick it away with no problem!

Though, it was still debatable if she could really kick the Cerberus that easily.

“…But Husband, where are we…?”

Aside from the Lightning, Grim, and the wolves, the one who appeared was Mireya, Laura, Asmodeus, Feriat, and lastly Sheeya.

Mireya, Laura, and Asmodeus looked around curiously, Sheeya respectfully stood behind him, while Feriat seemed to be in a bad mood—more like, why did she even go out? She wouldn’t even respond to my call whenever I wanted to see her…?

Feriat saw Allen’s bewildered expression and snorted, all while averting her eyes from his. Why did she even come here for? Allen shrugged, smiling wryly, “…You seemed to come out. What’s wrong?”

“Master, we sense a large amount of hostility directed towards you so we came out,” Laura answered, her face expressed her worries and concern.

“…And it seems like you’re quite in a predicament, master…” Asmodeus turned towards the monsters rushing towards them, which were already passed the twenty-meter mark. “Though calling it a predicament might not be appropriate for this worthless crowd which was not even enough to scratch the sole of master’s foot!” She mocked full of derision.

“Hoo… I get the gist of it…” Mireya stared at the monster horde and smiled, but her eyes were terrifyingly cold!

“So this bunch is rushing to their deaths…is that it?”

“Although I still haven’t explained today’s circumstances, well, that’s about it~” Allen shrugged.

“…Then, wouldn’t it be… first blood will be…mine!!” Lightning, with a ferocious grin, rushed towards the monster horde with her body radiating intense electric sparks.

Whiiizz!! A golden arc of light suddenly flashed, and Boooom!! the first line of the Monster horde was immediately decimated by a loud explosion. Seeing this, Allen can’t help but smile wryly, “That Lightning, she really turned into a battle junkie, didn’t she?”

“And? Whose fault do you think that was?” Mireya smiled wryly.

Then a shadow flew over, and another round of explosions occurred, along with an icy cold voice, “You bunch… you dared bare your fangs to my, Asmodeus, beloved master…?! You rude inferior races need to be taught a lesson…!! [ Hellfire ]”

Bang! Bang! Bang!!

The entire forest was set ablaze.

Asmodeus was really in a rampage, dancing amidst the torrent of monsters. As for the Bakunawa, she had already rushed towards the gigantic Winged Mountain Serpent just after Lightning took action. With Empathic Link, Allen can feel the excitement and delight surging through the large snake’s body—it seems like she really likes the Winged Mountain Serpent—no, it should be, she desired the Winged Mountain Serpent’s Core, flesh, and blood.

Was it because they are of the same race that she desired it strongly…?

Because it was extremely compatible with her…?

Well, she was only a few steps away into becoming a real Dragon, so she must be desperate, huh…

Allen lost the opportunity to join the battle, as Lightning, Bulan, Asmodeus, and all the Frost Wolves along with Elsa, the leader of the pack were already having their moment.

The ones who were still beside him were Mireya, Laura, Sheeya who was standing behind Allen, like a professional bodyguard, and lastly, the yawning Grim who was lying on Allen’s embrace, waiting for Allen to enter the battle and then she would follow.

As for Feriat, she…

Allen raised her head and saw a beautiful angel leisurely sitting at a branch, watching the battle as if it was a movie. She was even eating a pie, was it custard? Or apple…? Anyway, she really did come here for no reason…huh…

“Master, are you not going to join?” Grim asked, bewildered. Why is her master still standing there? Look, the savages are almost done decimating the entire forest…! Really brutal…!

Can’t they even sympathize with Mother Nature…?! Even this Lord Cat knows how to love nature, and yet these people—really savages…! ‘Tsk! Tsk!’ Grim shook her head and made an I-really-can’t-believe-these-people expression and sigh…

“… …” Allen smiled wryly at seeing the changing expressions of his cat. It probably because she possesses noble blood, she acts like a proper noble—though it was extremely cute!

The location where Lightning went to was covered in golden flashes, limbs littered the ground. As for Asmodeus, she walked on the ground, full of leisure momentum, yet many unsuspecting monsters would be suddenly left with a hole in their forehead or chest. It seemed like the two of them were wordlessly taking a stroll in the forest. However, nothing was left alive in their wake.

The Frost Wolves as well, wherever they go, all was frozen in ice or cut into pieces, though as expected of a tightly bond family, their teamwork was among the best. When one was surrounded, the other would immediately rush and help. Thus, even the weakest of the pack, there’s no mortal wounds that can threaten their lives even though they were surrounded with monsters much stronger than them individually!

“…well, I’m going in…” Allen shrugged as he grabbed the death scythe’s shaft and rotated it, stopping when the long curved blade was almost closer to the ground just behind his waist. With his silver hair, crimson eyes and all black outfit, he really looked like a real Death God!

As Allen was about to join in on the fun, suddenly, “Wait!!” someone called out to him from behind. Allen stopped and glanced back, only to see Lady Liu Yifei and the others staring at him and his family, full of complicated emotions.

After seeing Allen summoning strong and magnificent looking beasts one after another, and now there were even several people around him appearing out of nowhere, they couldn’t understand things anymore…!

“…what’s up?” Allen asked softly.

“…W, we want to help as well…” Lady Liu Yifei muttered, her voice lacked her usual confidence. The Passing Cloud Sect disciples also had trouble tearing their eyes off them.

There were just that shocking!

Even the mighty looking Elder Chen Yutong was at the back, not speaking and only stared at Allen full of fear and vigilance—this is the power of DAWN? Just what kind of organization was it truly…? What kind of power does this kind of organization possess…?

Liu Yifei clenched her hold on the Dawn Medallion, her hands trembling. Truthfully, she was actually tempted, very tempted to accept Allen’s invitation.

Allen’s display of power is just too attractive that she wanted to know and see just how capable this organization is with her own eyes.

There was Pain, then, the other two unknown people with him… and now, there was this Ye Wushuang whose power was already beyond other people his age!

Furthermore, with these many powerful summonses she feared that even if she and the others gang up together to fight against this youth, they would surely lose in an instant!

Allen stared at her for a while, then smiled, “Do what you want…just don’t die…Yifei Jie…”

“… …” the two of them stared at each other for a while before Liu Yifei averted her eyes from Allen. Her face beet red.

Seeing this, Mireya and Laura immediately felt scared, their vigilance skyrocketed. Although they had never cared about how many women will stand beside Allen, but it’s not like they didn’t feel anything about it.

Who knows what kind of person would appear…?

What if it was a Daji that would try to attract Allen, then, wouldn't something bad surely happens!?

They had already been given very important duties by the ones left in the mortal world and they don’t have any intention of ignoring it!

Their gazes immediately turned sharp, glaring at Lady Liu Yifei, scaring the latter.

As for Liu Yifei, she could not understand why, but at that moment, she suddenly felt her heart beating so fast when she look at Allen. What was the reason for this?

Lady Liu Yifei herself had met many of the continent’s talents. Even in the Imperial City, there was a man who was reputed to be the most beautiful man of the five nations.

However, even in the face of that famous, beautiful and charming man, Liu Yifei had never felt as mesmerized as she felt now. Facing Allen, who was extremely mysterious and seemed to be full of secrets that are forbidden to be exposed in the light, why was she unable to keep her heart from fluttering?

She just can’t understand. When she saw Allen’s smiling face, she could not stop her heart from fluttering that she felt as if, she must have gone crazy or been possessed by an evil spirit!!

That must be it!!

Allen turned his gaze back at the chaotic battle, grinned and run towards it!

He wasn’t planning on using anything flashy ability or magic spells and instead Allen wanted to quench his thirst for battle using his own body and martial arts, wanting to act like a true cultivator--as the saying goes, 'When in Rome, do as what Romans do'!

An arc of golden light flashed, Allen rushed over with lightning speed. It was followed by a swing of his Death Scythe + Whirlwind Strike combo by twirling the scythe around him, and everything that touched the blade was cut into two. This was then followed by a grinning cat, Grim, with four to five inches long sharp steel claws that seem to have the ability to rip anything, going towards throat, eyes, or heart, then followed by a wind-like shadow blades the moment she rotated her lithe body in the air, just before landing in the ground.

The shadow blades reap every life it hits, and then, Grim would once again disappear as if she sunk into her own shadow—Shadow Walk! Together, they instantly took a group of over ten monsters out easily.

The others were also slain when Mireya, Laura, and Sheeya entered in as well. Mireya moved like a beast, swinging her claws and shooting icicles and freezing her opponent. Laura on the other was neater—she holds a small silver fork on her hand and several kitchen knives on the other—slashing, stabbing and throwing it to monsters. Her movements were so precise it was scary—though, the fact that it can easily pierce through its barrier beast Qi and kill them was already terrifying enough!

She was like an assassin maid, calm, nonchalant yet deadly…!

Without as much a change on her expression, she somersaulted into the sky and flipped a few times, when she did, eight eerie looking tentacles appeared behind her back, stabbing and piercing through the beasts that were flying towards her. She inhaled a large air and spewed a large column of fire towards those speared by her tentacles, burning them mercilessly—even those who were still alive had instantly lost their lives.

Landing gracefully on the ground, she stepped backward, a sharp looking green colored scythe slashing towards her former position. When she turned her gaze, there was a four-meter-tall monster that looked like a praying mantis.

Shhksksksk!! it shrieked angrily when it saw Laura successfully evading its sneak attack. Then, with both scythe-looking arms, it started attacking Laura more vigorously than before—fast! Laura frowned as she couldn’t help but taken aback by the Mantis prowess. It as if she was fighting a master swordsman holding two swords.

It was so fast; she couldn’t find any loophole or opportunity to counter, even using the eight tentacles to block the scythes, it still managed to cut a tear on her maid uniform. As she was having trouble evading the attacks, “…Duck,” an indifferent voice rang from behind her. Laura reacted, dodging a slashing attack by hair’s breadth. She then dived and roll away on the ground frantically.

Then, from behind her, several brown arcs with fan-shaped edges that seemed to be made of brown sands flew past Laura, striking the large Praying Mantis. The Praying Mantis was caught off guard and was pitifully blown away.

Laura rammed her hand on the ground and used the impact to flip her body in the air, then landing on the ground with her two feet. She looked towards the source of the voice and saw Sheeya standing there, with her usual indifferent expressionless face.

The first successful human creation of her beloved master; Sheeya. She was a girl who looked like she was thirteen or fourteen years old. Her hair was flaxen in color and her eyes were the color of glass. The features of the beautiful face seemed almost sculpted. She had double eyelids, and a frosty face, as if her expression never changes.

She had a suffocating sort of beauty... Laura thought.

Sheeya, with an indifferent face, rammed her both hands on the ground and muttered, “Be buried and die, Desert Burial!” Then, from the position of where the large Praying Mantis crashed, brown sands came out from the ground and instantly covered—no, it should be swallowed the large giant Praying Mantis in an instant.

The sand that now looked like a cocoon started shaking and wriggling, showing that the Praying Mantis was still alive and struggling. But not for long…

“…Desert Grande Espada!” Slash!! a large sand that shaped like a large tip of a blade erupted from the ground with greater speed, slicing the cocoon where the Praying Mantis was imprisoned.

After a few seconds, the brown cocoon stops shaking as it started falling on the ground as if it was dissolving, showing the Praying Mantis on the inside which was now cut into two.

“Sister Laura, Father said that among these monsters, there were exceptionally strong and above other monsters so please do be careful and don’t let your guard down. Go all out in the fight, is what master ordered.” Sheeya muttered as she turned towards Laura, with still an indifferent voice.

“Okay, thank you Sheeya,” Laura smiled and nodded. Although Sheeya’s voice didn’t have the slightest undulation and seemed to be uncaring, still Laura could feel her worry and concern. Probably because she was created by Allen and so Laura can somehow for some reason understand her hidden emotions and feelings.

“Um,” Sheeya nodded and then turned back, rushing towards another group of monsters.

As for Laura, she took a deep breath and when she exhaled, her expression instantly changed. If master says so—time to get serious…!
