"Young Master, what about here?"
Laura said with faints mile. Alighting on a rocky outcropping, she gestured at the rough semicircle of boulders.
"Sure, Laura. We'll stop here for the night," Allen agreed amiably. He set to work finding firewood.
"Young Master, I think you should have returned to that city and lent a nice cushy inn like a few nights ago, you know,” Laura suggested as she walked around, collecting twigs to use as kindling. “I think that would be the best choice,”
"Nah, this is fun too," Allen smiled over his load of firewood. “In fact, it would be best if you returned to the Grimoire, you know? I’m fine here myself~”
“As if I would leave you alone, young master,” Laura stuck out her tongue in a playful manner. She then throws the twigs out in the middle of a small circle of stones in the center of the clearing. Evidently, the area had been used before as a campground.
“Even if you choose to stay inside a boiling magma, I would still stay with you, young master. That is what my existence was for,” She said as she slowly walked over Allen. Suddenly, “Hm!?”
"What is it?" Allen asked curiously, ambling over and dumping his wood into the ring, coming to a stop by Laura who was rubbing her foot with an aggrieved look on her face.
"I stepped on something sharp."
Allen squatted and pulled something out of the dirt, holding it up for Laura to see. "It's a piece of a blade," he then told her. "Look, they're all around."
Laura glanced about and saw them, sticking out of the earth at intervals like sharks' teeth. "Hey, how'd they get here?"
Brushing dirt off the tipped blade in his palm with his thumb, Allen gazed at it as he spoke. "Well, judging from the state of the place, there should have been a battle that had occurred around here a long time ago."
"Creepy," was Laura’s comment as she walked over towards the boulder where Allen was at before.
On the path they'd followed for the last few days, strange debris littered the brush on either side. Other than cursory glances, they hadn't slowed much, but now looking down at the valley below, they felt quite strange.
Although it wasn’t noticeable at first glance, indeed, there were many wreckages and broken weapons covered by earth in this region. And not just this part, the more they ventured the forest, the more Allen saw the wreckages and debris left behind by wars.
Probably, in this world, before the Demons started their movements, the war was a daily occurrence!
In fact, this wasn’t just a sudden thought or a baseless conclusion, back in the Norse Clan, Allen had read the records containing about the wars between each God Clans. This was probably the reason, why the moment the Demons started their uprising, they were like drenched chicks that were caught off guard and was easily defeated.
"Haa," Laura commented stridently. "These worlds and whether they were humans or Gods, all were boring. All those nonsensical battles and bloodshed…"
Allen chuckled. “Well, the war would never be absent in any world. Some people say that war is an art but I don’t think that it’s just that. Unlike Art, War never creates something, it only destroys. Still, it was connected to art because it will lead to something else. Like a pathway, like creating something from ashes, war is sometimes necessary…”
“… …”
Allen spread his arms at Laura and Laura blushed for a moment before she moved and sat down in front of him, embraced within his arms. “War can never be absent because it sometimes considered as a tool to end an era, a current age to start anew. That is why, although people hated war, there were still some who thinks that it was a necessary sacrifice.”
Woosh –! A cold wind blew past them. However, neither of them felt it as both of them only felt the warmth coming from each other.

“Most instance, the new era can be said to be a bit better compared to the previous one and all this was made due to wars. Destroying and then learning from the previous era… can lead to unexpected gains.” Allen stared at Laura, showing his pair of crimson blood-like eyes; his pupils glimmered like a sapphire.
Laura felt soaring in cloud nine as she saw his perfectly chiseled face and sexy lips that were enough to drive any woman crazy.
Seeing Laura's hurried breath, laughter flashed from his eyes, he continued; “Still, I can’t nor do I want to justify the existence of war. After all, everything has its different sides just like the two faces of the same coin. Everything has its advantage and disadvantage… and most people just want to look at which side was heavier. No matter what the purpose of that action was. War will always be seen at its disadvantages, and not the advantages…”
As Allen enjoyed the warmth coming from Laura’s body, at this moment, Clank! A sound of something being stepped on rang out. Allen indifferently turned his head and saw Baishe and Mireya walking towards them. In their hands were some strange fruits and rabbit –looking like creature.
They walked towards Allen and Laura with a faint smile.

Allen checked his status. When he checked his status the first after entering this world, he was a bit startled.
It was a bit different than the usual.
Was it because he had entered a new world? He thought at first but then he noticed something. It was a part of the reason actually but the greater reason was that he had ascended into Godhood. Thus, his status was changed based on that of a Godkin!
Allen was currently not just a Nephilim with a human constitution anymore but can finally be considered a real Celestial Nephilim!
Shaka, shaka, shaka!
A very bizarre and sinister stepping sound rang out as Allen walked deeper into the forest, approaching quickly. Allen indifferently shifted his gaze and in just less than a minute, he immediately saw the owner of the strange creepy steps.
The huge spider, which was as large as two 15-ton trucks, was heading towards him.
It was menacing and looked very powerful.
Shaaa!! It bared its fangs as if threatening him.
Allen frowned. Crackle! Sparks covered his arm and when he stretched it towards the incoming monster, a huge lightning spear was shot towards it.
!!? As the lightning spear flew forward, the spider scrambled up the spider web in an attempt to escape. But the spider couldn’t be faster than lightning.
In an instant, a burned smell wafted the air the moment the lightning spear pierced through its body.
Allen ignored the grilled spider and continued walking towards the forest.

Sprawled out upon a hill, making it nigh impossible to see the grass underneath, were hundreds of thousands of dead bodies, whether it was monsters, demons or high humans.
Of particular note was the man that was on his knee on top of the hill. At first glance, it seemed that he was on a hill but upon closer inspection, you could see glimmers here and there from the armor of the dead Soldiers that had formed up to create the hill.
That’s right! It wasn’t a hill but a mountain made up of dead bodies!
Blood flowed on crevices, creating a red colored river flowing down into the ground.
It was quite a scene to watch.
“These bastard demons! They just keep on coming and coming like idiots!” The man on top of the hill made up from dead bodies cursed loudly.
He had on silver armor that gave off a slight white aura and on each shoulder had the figure of a lion’s head. His dark blue cape that was swaying on his back was dyed in crimson red, giving him another strange flavor.
In his right hand was a long spear-like weapon, matching the figure's height at six feet while dangling on his waist was a golden colored sword.
“Dikani, let’s go back! The demons should have retreated at this very moment. We need to return to the camp… this battle this time, we lost!” A man under the hill crawled and struggled to stand up. His face pale and blood covered his face.
That’s right, this battle was their loss.
Although it can’t be said to be a complete loss and although they had managed to kill thousands of demons during the battle but what’s thousands of them with the Demon’s numbers? They didn’t even manage to kill the several high-level demons that were leading the demons when instead they lose a few hundreds of elite warriors and knights.
“… …” The man named Dikani didn’t respond and instead stood up and surveyed the entire battlefield.
“We need to make a new plan. If this goes on, we will be the one who will be annihilated!” The man cursed angrily as he looked around and found some few warriors slowly getting back up.
“Haaa,” The man named Dikani let out a long sigh. This was a hopeless battle. Although he was confident in his strength but Dikani was certain that he would be insufficient fighting several High-level demons. If they attack simultaneously, it would certainly be the end.
“Is the Celestial realm… really going to end…?”
