Chapter 472: [ Last Trial of Humanity ]
“This aura…” One white dressed young girl among them let out an expression of surprise.
“I only know one God who had this strange aura…” The young girl one faintly smiled after a particular face appeared inside his mind. Then that smile turned into a cold smile.
“Humph!” Looking in that direction, the frosty expression on the white dressed young woman’s face didn’t warm in the slightest: “‘Fool’ this time, you would never be able to escape from me…”
After muttering this, her whole body began to glow and shot towards the direction of the pillar of light.

As Allen and Hanjin started the finale of their battle, something strange happened in the world of the Celestials.
Feeling the strange ripples in the world’s magic power, the youthful face of Athena finally revealed a smile.
At this moment, there is only one word appeared inside her mind; [ Ascension ].
Someone out there finally ascended from being an ordinary deity into a higher plane of existence; [ Godhood ]!
The first step of being a True God, commonly known as the Mid God.
It was a strange fluctuation so Athena was certain that it was still the first step of the process of reaching the Mid God Realm and wasn't real ascension. But the power exhibited was still equivalent to that of a real Mid God.
It was still not consolidated enough to consider a real Mid God but with this kind of power, she was sure that it was just a matter of time.
And most of all she had an idea of someone who could have this achievement…
“Solomon…” Athena’s lips curled upwards.
In a luxurious room within a familiar temple, Athena looked at the girl sitting across from her. “Did you feel it as well?” she asked.
It was a petite girl in a white colored robe.
She has arranged facial features that looked like a delicately made doll but since both her eyes were covered with a wide eye patch, it’s impossible to see her eyes.
With that outfit and both her eyes closed, she gives off a mysterious impression to people who see her. It’s a young woman that has an otherworldly appearance that does not seem real.
“I had seen him, you don’t need to ask me with that as I know what he was doing right now…”
Athena smiled faintly at the girl. “Is that so… actually Clotho, I called you here… because of him…”
“… …”
“What do you think of him…?”
The girl, Clotho raised her head and look forward. Although Athena can’t see her eyes but for some reason, she felt that Clotho was staring her giving her an uncomfortable feeling like she was being seen through naked in front of her.
Clotho—one of the Ladies of fate… the lady who can see the past of every being. Her sister was Lachesis who can see the future and Athropos who can see Death. Together, they were called the ladies of fate or the Moerae sisters…
“If you want to know the future, then you should ask my sister Lachesis, not me…!” the black-haired beauty sitting across from Athena said up in a light, clear voice.
“That won’t do, Lachesis won’t tell me anything about it,” Athena smiled wryly. In regards to the future, the three sisters wouldn’t tell anything—only some vague prophecies. Sometimes, even her father, the High God Zeus would flip in anger due to them.
They wouldn’t tell clearly what they know.
In the legends, her father Zeus was their leader but in fact, that was just in name. After all, these three sisters were her father’s advisors, and nothing more. They advised him in right course but they would never tell what the future shows.
Lachesis’s lips are sealed.
Athropos are just a mischievous brat.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
But Clotho—“Clotho, among you three sisters, you are the closest to me. So, only you, I can ask these things.” Athena sighs.
“The Celestial Realm is facing a disaster, that was the only thing Lachesis told me. It seems like it was something to do with Mammon… but she told me that it wasn’t Virgil… Then, who was it? Right now, Virgil is the one carrying the most power in the Demon Legion. And this war, he was also the one who had started it… now, please Clotho, please clear my mind from all this confusion.”
“… …”
“And the one you feel right now… Solomon, is he the one I am waiting for…?”
Clotho was silent for a moment before she let out a sigh. She extended her hand and grabbed Athena’s pale hands. she gripped her hand tighter as she said, “Athena, you know full well the repercussions of me telling you all of these things right now as it were like telling the future itself.”
“… …” Suddenly, a trace of disappointment rose inside Athena’s heart.
“Future, only my sister can see it but she didn’t tell you because she understands that it would bring you no good. I can see the past and I can tell it to you without a problem, but my other sisters have their own difficulties. So please don’t blame them…”
“Haa, it’s not like I blame them or anything. I just feel bad. This is related to the wellbeing of our world and yet…”
“Athena, you are a good Goddess… everything has its own purpose. And even if you knew it beforehand and do something about it, fate will get angry at you and will certainly get back at you in the worst possible manner—even us, ladies of fate can’t go against it. We can not control the string as it has its own will… I apologize…”
“… …” Athena bit her lip in helplessness. So as I expected...
“However, I need to warn you about something…” As Athena was disappointed about the lack of answers, Clotho suddenly raised her head and said something Athena couldn’t believe.
“That man… as a friend, let me give you a warning—just like what you wanted, he can be the savior and protector…”
“Really!?” Athena’s eyes widened in shock. However, happiness can be seen through it.
“However, just like black is the opposite of white and vice versa—that man can be the greatest destroyer you can ever imagine…”
“What?! What are you saying, Clotho!!” Athena slams her hand on the table and the entire temple shook.
“Athena, that man… Solomon is a God…”
“…what?”
“Just like you and me, as well as the others, Solomon is originally a God…”
Athena stared blankly. It looked as though Clotho was serious. “What do you mean, Clotho? Speak honestly, what are you talking about!!” Athena gritted her teeth.
“You should blame your father for this, Athena… Zeus had done something he shouldn’t do…” Clotho sigh as she looks at the blue sky as if she was reminiscing the past. “That was also the reason why we left Olympus and removed ourselves completely from the everyday concerns of the Celestial Realms and no longer kept on being Zeus advisor—”
“Zeus cursed a God to become a mortal. He was then chosen to become Judah, the overseer of fate that leads to humanity’s salvation from their sins and Solomon—the mortal wise king.”
“Zeus cursed Solomon?! Why?!” Athena’s mind short-circuited from the revelation.
“My dear Athena, are you not curious as to why Solomon, despite being a great sinner reincarnated, and then still favored by the heavens…? Like an actor of a play, a protagonist of some story…?”
“His life revolved in many stories, settings, climax, events, many people, and gods…”
“… …”
“Because he was…” Clotho sigh.
“…!!!?”
“I can tell you this as it has no real repercussions. What the Celestial Realm was facing right now, not an invasion, nor some tyrant's conquest. But none other than… The Final Judgment… Even the True God doesn’t have an option, no matter how he loved the mortal world, the Final Judgment will always occur—Armageddon, Apocalypse, Ragnarok—in any kind of myth, the end of the world was always present. It always occurs. That is inevitable!”
“It’s not the will of God… nor was it the True God… It’s the Will of Heavens—The Law of Nature that even the True God couldn’t interfere."
"The Crucifixion of Christ, the sacrifice of the Son of God was the True God’s way to save the world and humanity—but it only managed to postpone the Final Judgment; [ The End of the World ].”
“What are you talking about, Clotho! That is…”
“Absurd, right? I know what you feel but this the truth of the world, the fate of all living beings, my dear Athena,” Clotho shook her head in silence. And then she continued, “The Fate of all is one big game—sometimes, it needed an end to start again. And the reset button is the Final Judgment…”
There is no game without an end, beginning without an ending...!!
All things die, end and return to the starting point!
Athena’s brow was slightly furrowed, and though her face was as beautiful as ever, it contained a hint of unpleasantness. Her eyes flickered as she thought, “What was this—what is this truth…!” She wanted to treat it as nonsense but it was Clotho who said it to her.
Clotho, aside from her personality and character, the Ladies of Fate would never lie…!
Then, is this truth…?
“How is Solomon related to this…?” Athena frowned. Her fist clenched tightly and mind a wrecked mess.
Clotho stared at Athena, and after a long time, she finally answered, “Solomon is greatly related to this…”
“How?” Athena frowned.
“… He is a ‘sign’—a sealed fate unbeknownst to the world.”
“…???”
“This is only the beginning of his harsh fate as he holds the key to determine the fate of this world…”
“Speak less riddle, Clotho!!” Athena snarled. Her eyes started emitting out a dangerous glint. Even though her magic power had slumped, her eyes that belonged to the goddess of war could still see through people's heart. Feeling condemns from Clotho, she immediately corrected her posture and faced her.
Suddenly, a gust of wind came in.
The spring breeze blew on their faces and flower petals flew unto the inside of the temple. Enjoying this breeze, with her black hair loose, Clotho let her thoughts materialize into words.
“——[Last Trial of Humanity]——that is what Solomon is…”
