Chapter 683: [Next Step: The Demon World!]
Early morning is the golden time of the day.
The curtains cannot be closed properly so there is a gap. Thus, when Mia opened her eyes, she can’t help but smile at the sky outside the window and the sunlight shining below the curtains. The surrounding is quiet until you can only hear the faint breathing sound.
She was holding the corner of the silky quilt and looking at the handsome side face of Allen who is sleeping soundly beside her. Then, she recalls everything which happened last night and silent tears starts to stream down her cheeks.
He’s finally here… fate had led him back to her…!
The heavens had finally heard her pleas…
He was still sleeping. His arm was draped heavily across her. That part of him was handsome. Muscular. Yet slightly slender, with the right amount of muscles. His hand was laying against the sheet. A large, strong hand with long sensitive fingers. Looking at her most beloved, it suddenly struck her that this exact moment personified everything that was Allen Bando--soft and caring but ruthless and hard when protecting those he cared about.
And he had never changed--not even after a long time passed by, not even when worlds change and enemies came flooding in to do their worst--he would still stand tall, just like before, show his back only to them, that weak and sad back and yet still stand to support the sky even if it comes falling.
She already knew that from his lovemaking. She ran her own fingers along the back of his hand, contemplating how beautiful it was. She knew him by touch, and she used those familiar sensations of him to calm herself as she gathered the strength to finally accept this dream-like reality.
"……you're still a bastard you know that? A very bastard I cannot stop loving," Looking at Allen’s quiet sleeping form, Mia suddenly feels very resentful. This bastard… hmph! He really messed her up last night, can’t he just treat her gently…? It’s their long-awaited reunion, he should have made it a bit more romantic… then, something flashed inside her mind. It seems like, she’s the one who had begged him…was that right? No, that shouldn’t be possible! It surely is this incubus incarnation’s fault! Mia harrumphed.
Stretching her hand, she brushed away the strands of hair that covered his eyes and smiled sweetly…
Looking at him, his beautiful snow-white hair seems a bit disheveled and his eyes look tired as his brows somewhat furrowed. Though, for some reason, amidst this exhaustion, there’s also a bit of satisfaction. His tightly purse up lips are a bit pale and there is almost no trace of color on his face.
One can imagine how much wind he was exposed to outside tonight and how much he had made an effort to sow a seed. Mia giggled as she savored the look at her beloved when Allen’s brows moved and his closed eyes slowly opened.
As he looked at her lying there, staring at him, her face serene and her lips slightly open, he thought how beautiful she looked. He slowly looked down her body, seeing that at some time in the night she had obviously been too warm and had pulled the covers down to her waist. He marveled at how her breasts were still firm and held their shape, each smooth hill topped with a light pink nipple and areola.
As he looked more closely at the small bumps surrounding each nipple, he blew gently onto the closest nipple and was rewarded by seeing its involuntary change from a small flattened disc to a hard, erect nub.
Allen frowns slightly but there appears to be a smiling expression in his eyes: “Good morning, Sweetheart,”
His smiling eyes look at her. His slanted lips hint at his not-so-good intent.
Mia smiled sweetly, “Good Morning, love,” She leaned over and placed a soft, gentle kiss on his lips.
Raising himself on his elbow, Allen placed the other hand on the side of her face and gently, lovingly, tucked a stray blonde lock behind her ear, he leaned over and lightly brushed his lips against hers.
“Mmm that’s a nice way to be woken up,” she said, turning towards him sleepily.
“This is a very good way to start a day,” Mia purred as she burrowed herself against Allen's chest like a spoiled kitten.
"Isn't it?" Allen grinned boyishly. "Well then, I'll give you that duty in making my life gorgeous every day,"
"Every day? I don't get a day off?"
"No, sorry," Allen lowered his lips to hers. "You have just enlisted yourself on a black company~"
I'm not, she thought before losing herself in his arms. “Then, you better brace yourself. Because every day, we’ll start it like this,” Mia’s heart is suddenly filled with colorful effervescent bubbles, her life brightened up as if a 2500 Lumen Feit Bulb was placed in her life.
“Now, that would be the best present I could have,”
It is as if that phrase, ‘people are in high spirits when involved in happy events.' Allen looks relaxed and pleased. His eyes look a bit joyful when gazing at Mia. His voice is soft and thick with emotion.
Every single word seems to carry a strong sense of yearning; “…with you here, I can feel as if I can do anything…” he leaned his head towards her and overbearingly kisses her mouth before she gets to speak up. His soft and hot lips cover her lips, rubbing and sucking gently. His tongue deftly enters her mouth, enticing her to frolic and twist. A burst of earth-shattering passion engulfs her.
Mia’s breathing unknowingly becomes rapid and she gradually let her limp and numb body collapses in his arms ……
She has to admit, this guy’s kissing technique is really getting better.
After flirting for a while, Allen slowly stood up and went towards the bathroom. He then quickly took a bath, then wearing only underpants, he walked out. Seeing Allen coming out with bare upper body and with only underpants on his lower part of his body, furthermore also seeing a big ball on his crotch area, Mia couldn’t help but smile wryly. Her body also felt hot and dry, then she avoided his gaze, sitting on the sofa, reading some books.
“…Am I handsome?” Allen grinned. He showcased his well-proportioned muscles which were filled with explosive power.
Mia chuckled in amusement but didn’t say anything. Sizing up his body once, she snorted in disdain, she muttered, “Yeah, yeah, you’re handsome…” her voice covered with intense sarcasm. But Allen was not the least bit fazed. Drying his hair with a towel, he sat on the other side of the couch.
“Can’t you properly dry your hair?” Mia frowned. “Come here, let me help you,”
Allen shrugged his shoulders. “No need, I can use magic for it,”
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
“Don’t be so over-reliant on magic,” Mia replied as she grabbed the towel and started rubbing it on Allen’s hair with a serious expression. She looks extremely like a little wife, helping her husband. This move Allen’s heart. Chuckling in sweetness, he stretched his arms and embraced Mia’s waist, pulling her into his bosom, like hugging a warm fragrant jade.
“Don’t move,” Mia frowned slightly. Sitting on Allen’s lap, she works the towel on Allen’s hair, causing Allen’s face to directly face Mia’s quite ample bosom. Burrowing his face against her neck and collarbone, he inhaled her faint fragrant with his nose. This kind of natural feeling made Allen to suddenly think that perhaps he and Mia originally should have been like this.
Without any worries or problems, without any anxieties, staying together, living a very happy life together.
Draping the towel on his hair, Mia dropped her arms and coiled it around Allen’s head, pulling it closer to her. Hugging Allen doesn’t seem to be enough no matter how much she does it…
She wanted more…
She wanted time to stop…
Allen’s heart softened, and his big hand holding Mia began to get restless. Mia’s slender jade hands stopped Allen’s mischievous big hands, then angrily said: “Don’t move randomly.”
“I am not moving randomly,” Allen said with a smile. “I am really moving in a regular pattern, is in line with the world’s rationale.”
“Yea, right…” Mia rolled her eyes but she didn’t stop him anymore and let him knead her waist and legs to his satisfaction until it became a well-knead dough.
"I hope it won't be another three years before we see each other again."
Instead of answering, Allen reached for her, putting his small, warm hand on the back of her neck, lifting his lips to hers.
They kissed, first lightly, then more urgently, his tongue in her mouth, her hips tilted against his, her breasts against his chest, her whole body sending a message that was undeniable. Her tongue fluttered against his, and his hands were deep in the softness of her hair, and it was like time unspooled, carrying them right back to when they were still in the mortal world.
He pulled her against him, thinking that he'd never get her close enough, that if he could fold her inside of him, like a mother tucking a baby into her coat, he'd do it. He'd keep her warm, he'd keep her safe, he'd keep her with him, always.
“None… it would never be that long again…” Allen muttered as he broke from the kiss.
“We should probably get up,” he said, into her ear.
Mia wanted to stay in the room all day. She wanted to feel her lover’s body against hers, but at some point, she knew Layla and the others would wake up, or probably had already woken up. She wanted to meet them as well—it seems like they have a lot of things to talk to.
She let out a little giggle, “Are you sure we have to?”
“Yes sweetheart, we have to,” Allen said wryly.
As she grudgingly began to pull herself away from him, he quickly kissed her neck which sent shivers through her body.
Once she was out of the couch, she turned and faced him.
“Any more of that, and we’ll be staying in bed the rest of the week,” she said, before turning and walking across the room.
“What a hot lady,” Allen muttered in astonishment. He then stood up and followed him, clothes slowly materializes around his body.
“There has never been such a perfect day up until now~” he mused as he stared through the window.
The sky seemed bluer than before...
… …
“So what are you going to do now, Allen?”
Layla pushed a rolling tray car towards Allen and the others who were sitting in the throne room.
The Throne Room was now completely different than before. Although, the Throne Chair was left untouched as well as the large hole on the wall, due to Allen not having any proper materials to fix it, after all, Ruinos Castle was a God Tier Magical Item and it needed specific materials which were extremely rare and difficult to find--there were now several soft couches, table, and still other kind of furniture placed in the throne hall.
Allen didn’t bother about it before but now that there were now many people staying in the Second Floor as well as the Throne Hall, many things were changed.
Allen slumped on the couch, sighing as he stared at the large hole on the wall, displaying the beautiful blue colored sky.
“I don’t know… I’m still considering what to do next,”
“…well, you said that you haven’t completely checked and explored the 50th layer right due to some disturbances, what about starting from there. After hearing about the existence of the Greek War God living there all this time, I felt that the existence of this Dungeon is truly not so simple…” Something warm hits his shoulder. Allen raised his head over to see Romeia sitting on the ceiling above him, her long black hair hanging down into the room. She’s gnawing on something and her hands are slightly greasy.
Why does she always stand on the ceiling…? Allen knows better not to pinpoint her weird antics. His mind then wanders towards Ares, indeed, since Athena’s old temple was there, so was the two other Gods of War, there must be something wrong with that Dungeon. Or at least, the one who created should have some purpose that is yet to be known…though I doubt asking Ares would do me any good…
That muscle brain would surely not know or probably even if he knows, Allen doubts he would answer him properly.
“Well, actually… I’m thinking of visiting the Demon World for a while,” thus, he answered, which issued a great storm of reaction.
“““What…?!!”””
It's as if Allen dropped a bombshell that caused the entire atmosphere in the room to freeze over.
“No way!”
“That’s not possible!”
“No way! Absolutely no way. Even if you’re strong and powerful but the Demon World, just hearing its name is certain to have many dangerous monsters. I will not allow you to go because it is too dangerous,”
“No way! Why do you take actions without thinking about the consequences? Nothing good can come of this. Absolutely Stupid!”
“In any case, that’s dangerous!!”
One after another, Layla, Mia, Alkrasha and the rest immediately objected, their voices rising in tone. They glared at Allen fiercely as if their eyes can make everything burn. Their expressions were really fierce.
Allen understands their worries but he had already made up his mind, “…I don’t have a choice,” he replied with a wry smile. "This time will come sooner or later. And besides, with the war already finally starting, the countdown had started,"
“Even Still…!”
“Mia,” Allen shook his head. “The war had already begun… and even if we gathered all our power and forces, I doubt we would be able to win. Especially in a defensive position like this! Unless those idiots from the Demon World stop, this war would never end. And right now, there are on the process of releasing something that shouldn’t get out—if they are not stopped in time, our chances of winning this war would become even lesser!”
“Although I don’t know what this Demon World looks like but do you think waltzing in like that is alright?!” Mia frowned and couldn’t help but get angry. Sending Allen in that kind of world would be like sending a sheep in a pack of wolves.
It’s not just mere dangerous… it’s super dangerous!
Allen smiled wryly, “I’m going to be fine…after all, I’m basically a Demon as well… Going to the Demon World is just like strolling in my backyard,” Allen muttered with a faint smile.
“That doesn’t mean a shit, damn it!” Mia snarled angrily.
“Mia, mind your language,” Layla warned. Then, she turned towards Allen with a fierce expression, “Allen, I also don’t think this is appropriate! Whether the Demon World is safe or not doesn’t matter! All the enemies come from that place, do you even think what would happen if you rush into that kind of place?! Furthermore, judging from your character,” Layla’s eyes narrowed dangerously, “You will once again go alone, won’t you…?”
