Chapter 655: [Crocell(2)]

“This is…how could this be?!”

Mair gritted her teeth in frustration and fear.

They couldn’t touch her? Is this the power of the rumored 72 Pillars of Hell?!

They have been complacent! No, they became arrogant because of the battle up until now! They thought they had become stronger but in front of these monsters—they are nothing!

“…lah#$%2at&*ch, ants thinking they are something after given wings—but even if thou bestowed with wings to fly, thou are still ants that can be stepped on!”

Crocell muttered with a cold tone, harshly attacking the hearts of the people around her.

“…shut…up!” Except for one. “Even if we are ants in your eyes, we have something to protect! And to protect it, even a Mammoth will still bleed if we bite on it!!” Eerika cried out in anger and full of pride. “To chase his back, I will stake my life to defeat you!! I will stand equally on his stageeeeeeee!!!”

“Pitiful…so pitiful…” Crocell shook her head, then with a wide grin, she muttered, “…then die!” dozen two meters Ice Spears appeared above her and then shot towards Eerika. “Death is an extrication, for fools such as you!” Crocell muttered coldly, the sound coming from all sides, and the numerous ice spears shot straight towards Eerika.

This strike surged with momentum, ice-cold energy welling forth just like a torrential river!

The dense rain of ice spear made the hearts of the other people in the vicinity tense up; how could one possibly hide from this? It’s not just number but one hit would surely cause a limb or two. That’s what they felt as they look at the shower of attacks surging like shower rain, their heart stops as if being frozen by fear and apprehension.

This is the difference...!

“God’s Guarddiaaaannn!!!”

Baaang!!

However, contrary to everyone's expectation, Eerika who was standing up let out a golden light, her whole body bathed in light rays. A large avatar of a beautiful woman standing behind her appeared. It was translucent and in fact almost transparent, but behind her was like a circle of golden light, akin to that of a sun.

She was holding a spear, and when Eerika thrust out her spear, the Avatar followed and thrust its spear out as well.

It looks simple but anyone can see the explosive power hiding behind it.

Even Crocell’s eyes widened slightly after seeing the transparent avatar.

BAAAAANG!!!

The ground under Eerika’s feet shattered under the power of her step. Hundreds of grain-sized light filaments erupted outwards and plunged towards Crocell’s surging ice spears like a savage Golden Flood Dragon. If Crocell’s attack was like the torrential river, then Eerika’s full emotional attack was the ferocious dragon that crossed the river!

Boooooom!!

All of the ice spears were directly demolished after being struck by the azure spear that was shining golden. It was even able to break through the Ice spears and thrust out directly towards Crocell. However, a thick Ice wall appeared before her, blocking the spear. However, it still caused the Ice wall to form a crack that looks like a spider web.

Seeing Eerika’s sudden explosive momentum, the entire surrounding was stunned. Even Mair, Troy and the other elites couldn’t help but felt their jaws falling off.

What just happened…?

How the hell did she do that?! Is this still the Eerika that they know?! How did she suddenly got a power-up? This is unscientific!

This defies logic!!

No way—this must be a dream!

Mair felt her eyes popping out from its sockets as she stared on, full of disbelief. She mumbled, “It’s only been a few months, ah, damn your sister, how did this animal make so much progress? Do you really want to give this sister a heart attack until you’re satisfied?!! What kind of power is this?”

However, one of them was still calm—Crocell stared at Eerika in full interest. “A Deity Manifestation…" she muttered. "... although a bit crass and lacking, thou had already done well!”

“… …”

“However, awakening the blood of the Gods in the veins of people should be quite difficult, even if it was their closest descendant. Although this can indeed increase the power of one, and thy potential… but awakening the Gods bloodline can only be done when one reach at least the last stage of the Deity Mortal. If this one is not mistaken, that is what they call, Lesser Deity Realm—as…if awoken prematurely, one will suffer a tremendous pain and might even cause a backlash, due to God’s blood’s explosive power…and thee, thou aren’t even yet passed the threshold of the middle of the Deity Mortal, and probably had just transcended not too long ago…thee sure are one tough ant, bravery and luck, even this one could only praise…!”

Eerika grinned, “I have one reliable guardian in my life… as long as he was here, awakening God’s Blood is nothing difficult!!”

Crack! Eerika’s power erupted and even caused the space around her to distort.

When Mair and the others heard about Eerika’s answer, a certain person appeared inside the group's mind and they can’t help but feel dumbfounded.

Awakening Bloodline? Obviously, they also know that as well. After all, each one of them has the Blood of the Gods flowing through them. However, it’s not something easily achieved. When the blood of God used in a mortal’s body will only cause the body to die, either wither or explode.

Although they are not really mortal, and true descendants of Gods, even still the Blood of a True God was still not something they could contain with their current bodies. Until their bodies haven’t reached a certain threshold, they are not allowed to awaken their bloodline. Even the strongest body among the younger generation’s elites could not control even a small percentage of the blood, much less them?

Furthermore, how is awakening God’s blood so easy to do?

They are many rituals and process to do to successfully do it without causing any problem to appear afterward. However, for Eerika to suddenly able to awaken and control it, it was obviously not done by the way they know of. And to make this possible…indeed, that abnormal monster has a high possibility of achieving it!

“Ha ha ha, a guardian…and thou really think that thee can defeat this one even with that measly manifestation? Absurdity has its limits—daring to look down on this one, the 49th guardian of Master Solomon, the Duchess of Hell; Crocell!!! Thou will be killed by thee, little girl!!” Crocell cried out in anger and humiliation.

She felt as if she was being looked down upon by a mere godling. Her aura exploded and cold chill spread throughout the area.

Those with weaker power were immediately turned frozen stiff, most monsters and demons but there were also those coming from the Godclans, who were unluckily unable to endure the piercing chill that assaulted them.

Eerika gritted her teeth, “Indeed, I wouldn’t…if it’s by myself. BUT I am not ALONE!!” she stared at Mair and the others direction, which was also staring at her.

Nodding their heads, they stood up one by one and their aura exploded ocne again--like a fire has been ignited in their hearts. A blazing fire of power and hope!

Stolen story; please report.

They might not be able to defeat her, but together, with Eerika as the center, even a storm would be blown away!

“DON’T UNDERESTIMATE US DEMONNN!! We are the Asgardiansss!!! We fight for glory! We fight for honor!! We fight for ASGARDDDDD!!!!” Eerika cried out with a crazy, incredible momentum that even stunned the nearby crowds.

Mair grinned, color returning on her face. “She said right! Just like our ancestors had done, we will defeat you damn demon and sent you to the deepest abyss, for which you truly belongs!”

“We are not afraid of you!!”

“For Asgardddddd!!!!”

Clanking sounds rang out as each and every one of them grabbed and picked up their weapons and stood up, proud and tall. In their eyes, there was still some fear but fighting spirit overwhelmed it.

Crocell snorted as she stared at the foolish people standing up around her.

She was irritated, she was extremely annoyed—fools who don’t know what’s good for them!

“…I will make you all sleep for eternity…!”

She snorted, and anotehr intense battle began!

Baaaaaang!!!

Two swords collided in the air.

The glow from Allen’s sword did not manage to push Tyr’s sword even a bit at all. It was a draw! Allen was indifferent but Tyr was shocked as he watched his opponent;s combat skill was obviously almost on the same realm as him.

A ripple was created as their attacks collided.

Due to the impact from both sides, the both of them were shaking and were forced to step back. As they stood still, they charged towards one another again and the two swords collided once more, shaking the entire area…

Every time they launched their attacks, there would be a tremendous bang on the battlefield. Even the ground was shaking and the monsters and people in the vicinity would be blown away even though they were still twenty to thirty meters away from them.

The surrounding people did not dare to breathe as they couldn’t help but stop fighting and watched the ongoing battle between Gods.

This is not something anyone could just interfere with nor join...!

This is the battle of the apex...!

And to think, both of them have not even unleashed their full power yet. But the battle that was easy on the both of them was already shaking all of the creations.

“God Tyr! Please listen to us! Allen! What are you doing?! I said, please listen to me!!” Eerika's mother, Elena was panicking, her face adn expression pale in fear, anxiety and anger. Just what are they doing in the middle of the battlefield that could cause their Clan's extinction?!

If the other party was not their highly revered God, and a boy who they had felt greatly indebted to, as well as the love of her daughter's life, she would have rush at them, and beat them herself. Though, the problem is, if she could even do it.

“God Tyr! He is not an enemy! He is an ally! Please listen to us for a bit!”

“Sir Allen! Stop for a moment! There’s just a misunderstanding here!”

… …

Tyr and Allen could not hear the cries and shouts going on around them as both of their focus was directed towards each other.

The collisions were getting more and more vigorous with both of them continuously upgrading their attacks to test their opponents. Before they revealed their true power, they wanted to determine the limits of their opponents.

An extraordinary Magical Energy pressure that surpassed that of a Mid God powerhouse emitted out from Tyr’s bent body like a storm.

Bang Bang Bang!

The ones that were nearby could not withstand the pressure from his aura and shot back awkwardly.

“Die!”

Once the God Tyr spat out this word, the Godly aura pressure was completely released. Cracks quickly spread out on the ground and even the air seemed to have started to distort terribly. Around the two of them, a fierce wind blew while the clouds gathered. At the same time, the magical energies within the world seemed to rampage wildly.

At this moment, everybody’s faces changed dramatically.

“Tyr, you son of a bitch! You dare strike a heavy hand! I’m going to take your head for this, you damn old codger!!!” Allen cursed out in anger.

A longsword fell from a high altitude in the sky. It carried a cold and dazzling light with it. The sword seemingly cut the very sky as it shot down. However, the target suddenly vanished in front of him and so, the sword had only struck into a large rock on the ground with a loud screech and embedded itself into it.

Only the sword hilt and the handle remained outside the rock...

It was Allen’s sword!

The Frostmourne!

It was an extremely sharp and divine weapon.

It was so sharp and powerful that it had pierced a solid rock up-till its hilt like it was tofu. And the cold chilling aura around it caused even the burning ground beneath it to freeze in ice in an instant. Even the rock had turned into a block of ice.

“You dare scold me?!”

Tyr shouted angrily and moved out. And, his hand moved like a sky-rendering hatchet which would behead Allen. But the latter disappeared.

“Hmph! Scolding you is me being lenient enough, you damn old codger! I already told you I’m not any Býleistr, whoever shit he was…I am Allen, ALLEN BANDOOO, you sick head!!!” an exceptionally lofty figure appeared as the angry shout resounded.

He somehow appeared right in front of Tyr, and a glittering sword flashed towards his throat without any warning.

The sword hadn't touched his throat yet. However, Tyr had already started to feel terrible goosebumps on his throat because of the sword's aura.

A sharp and heaven-piercing aura enveloped him.

This is…? God Slaying Sword…?! Tyr had felt that this was the case since a while ago but now that it was just a few inches away from him, he finally made it clear.

This cold chilling strange sword has the aspect of Killing a God!

But how can such a sword exist? This strange sword, he hasn’t seen anything like this before! Did the dwarves made another dangerous weapon again?! After the Lightning Hammer, Mjolnir, they should have sworn that they wouldn’t create another weapon of such caliber again!

Then, why did this appear now?!

A God’s body was stronger than steel, much less an Ancient True God. So, they needn't fear attacks from normal weapons. But, this heaven-conquering divine sword left Tyr to feel that his life was as fragile as bamboo. In fact, such a feeling could be compared to the instinctual premonition of death. Although Tyr was certain that even with such a sword, he wouldn’t be killed by it as long as he was careful, a grave wound would surely be fatal.

Tyr’s blazing eyes narrowed in danger and anger. He didn't slip up at this critical juncture. His body moved quickly, and he changed direction at a lightning-fast speed. A long string of after-images snaked his trail as he soared into the air. A cold chilling light flashed and pierced on his every afterimage but Tyr was still able to dodge every critical moment. Then, with a leaped he made a distance from the attacker.

In the air, a young and aloof figure could be seen. He held a coldly gleaming sword, and his face had a sneering expression as he floated in front.

“Old Codger, I don’t know what’s your deal with but I am not an enemy of the Norse Clan. I am not on the enemy’s side this time so you better tuck your claws properly or I will cut them myself!” Allen muttered coldly as burning hate flashed across his eyes.

In the exchange just a while ago, he confirmed that he was not on par with the God Tyr. He was just barely losing and it was all thanks to the Frostmourne that he has managed to still hold on and able to fight the God Tyr on equal standing.

However, he realized that if this goes on, his body will be the one who will give up first. If he used all his power, his clone body wouldn’t be able to contain it and the body will explode.

“You have gone senile God Tyr…was it due to old age? Can’t you think clearly that I am standing on the same side…? Or are you just pretending to not see anything to bully people!?”

The God Tyr frowned and his eyes transfixed on Allen’s young age. Is he not really Býleistr? No, impossible! From the fight just now, I can really feel the Frost aura of the Niflheim and Ymir’s oppression. He is Býleistr…that is without a doubt!

However, the God Tyr’s eyes caught the panic and anxious expression of Elena and the others—they do seem to be worrying about this youth.

“Býleistr…whether you are on the same side or not, you are still Ymir’s child! Your existence enough is a threat comparable to that of these damn Demons!”

“… …”

Allen's eye twitches in extreme annoyance.

This fucking stubborn old man!!!
