Chapter 138: [ Qin’s Sacrifice ]

Chapter 138: [ Qin’s Sacrifice ]

Allen only called out the Lightning Qilin since it was the only strongest monster he has!

His speed was also extraordinary.

However, if he also called the others, who knows how many of them will survive, especially in this kind of battlefield.

This situation is really a disadvantage for them!

But when the Lightning Qilin looked at the giant monster, he couldn’t help but get started. “Ah, master, that looks… bad!”

“Isn’t it?”

“Master, forgive me for being blunt but, a huge monster that as powerful as a Monster King, against one newbie monster king and a small divine beast… are you sure it’s okay?” Lightning Qilin looked at Allen with a cynical gaze.

“Don’t make it sound ridiculous!” Allen shouted back.

“Fine, it’s truly ridiculous but I don’t have a choice, it just came and picked a fight!”

“… …”

“Don’t look at me like that! We don’t need to defeat it. We just need to find an opportunity to escape!” Allen said, “Anyway, let’s agree to freak out about this later, okay? Assuming we don’t die.”

Lightning Qilin took a shaky breath. “Deal.”

Rooooooaaaaarrrr!!! The huge monster let out a deafening roar and the sea exploded, and a wall of water crashed over towards the two.

Roooooaaaaarrr!!!

Yaaaaaahhhh!!!

Allen and the Lightning Qilin charged simultaneously towards the huge monster.

Allen brandished his sword, trying to cut a massive tentacle that was wide as a building, although he only made a small cut, the electricity travels through the wound, emitting a burned smoke.

“[ 100 Million Volt Shocker Shock ]!!”

“[ Lightning Storm ]!”

The enormous monster cried in pain as Allen and the Lightning Qilin simultaneously used lightning attacks.

Allen’s pulse raced. He charged into battle, flinging lightning strikes making him looked like a thunder god. Really, is this possibly what Zeus or Thor felt when they fight?

With that ridiculous thought, Allen braved the strong winds that rushed past his cheeks as he traveled forth, desperately dodging the tentacles.

He felt as if he was the one portraying Perseus in the movie Clash of the Titans – though absent with the lightning attacks~

He was focusing himself on evading and attacking, his sword coated with lightning danced in the air.

---and hence, he wasn’t able to notice it earlier.

The sharp threat that suddenly appeared behind.

“……?” The first to notice the change was the [ Luan Bird ] that was in the form of the [ Wings of Flames ].

It tried to warn Allen but it was too late.

The sharp tentacle came faster than a bullet and pierced through Allen from behind.

“Master!!” Lan’s voiced inside his mind and the Lightning Qilin’s overlapped.

But still, it wasn’t over. Another one, two, three, four sharp tentacles took Allen’s momentarily shock and stabbed.

Five tentacles pierced through Allen’s body.

If anyone other than him was in that kind of situation, they would probably be deader than dead!

However, Allen was different!

“Bastard!” Cursing, Allen raised his arms upward, ignoring the tentacles that were piercing him and, “[ 200 Million Volt Thor’s Judgment ]!!!”

Booooom!!!

As if using his body as a lightning rod, Allen summoned a very strong lightning from the heavens and struck the enormous monster through its tentacles that were currently piercing Allen.

Gyaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!

The monster howled in pain and its tentacles immediately retroceded. But how can Allen let it go just like that?

This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

He grabbed two of the tentacles with his hands and intense killing intent, “[ Blue Flames ]! Burn them!!”

His hands produced blue colored flames that traveled through the tentacles.

Once again, the enormous monster howled in pain as its tentacles burned in beautiful blue colored flames.

Coated his sword with blue flames and lightning, Allen swings his sword downward, trying to cut the massive tentacles but the monster was now completely enraged and more tentacles came towards him while two burned ones hurriedly dived into the sea.

Allen dodged past them, though some managed to hit him.

The monster opened its huge gaping maw.

“Breathe incoming!!” The Lightning Qilin’s voice resounded.

Allen instantly transformed into lightning and disappeared from his normal position.

Boom!!

A huge column of water shot from its mouth towards Allen’s original position.

Seeing that its attack failed, the monster once again opened its mouth, this time towards the Lightning Qilin’s direction.

It was not the water breathes from before but numerous amounts of water balls that shot like bullets were launched simultaneously.

And according to the estimation of what the Lightning Qilin could see, there were more than a hundred water bullets.

Continuously moving at lightning speed, Lightning Qilin dodged many of those water bullets that were traveling at five times the speed compared to the speed of the water breathe that shot at Allen.

As the enormous monster lost sight of Allen and focused its attention to the Lightning Qilin, Allen at this time appeared behind its head.

“[ Skill Robbing ]!!”

Work you, idiot!!

Ding! [ You have successfully robbed Water Bullets ]

Yes!! Damn it!

Ding! [ Since you have already acquired Water Bullets, the skill has improved and reached Lv2! ]

The monster’s barrage of water bullets suddenly stopped.

The monster felt confused as it couldn’t shoot any again. But it was only for a moment as the tentacles were at work again.

It focuses on the Lightning Qilin.

Allen reached his hand again and wanted to try again.

Ding! [ Robbing Failed ]!

You gotta be kidding me!!

Allen cursed inwardly. He once again reached his hand but at this moment, as if feeling something wrong behind its back, the monster suddenly turned its head around and saw Allen.

Its eyes immediately glared, opening its mouth as if trying to devour him.

Clicking his tongue, Allen’s free hand clenched and a lightning spear appeared.

“Eat this moron!!”

Boom!!!

The lightning spear struck the monster mouth and huge explosion happened inside. The monster cried in pain and its huge body dived underwater.

But Allen didn’t let his guard down and instead flown even higher.

“Qin!” Allen called out. “Let’s go!”

Allen turned back and with a flash of lightning, he immediately flew away.

But suddenly, massive tentacles were back, blocking his way. Damn!

The tentacles didn’t attack Allen and the Qilin but instead, it began to revolve around them.

Faster, then faster, then even faster!!

Water spin around them, forming like walls.

Tornado?!

It’s making a freaking huge as* tornado!!

Allen realized in horror.

The winds swirled around them. If they wouldn’t hold on properly, they felt as if they would be sucked in and be one of those creatures spinning through the water as if they were inside a washing machine.

Allen looked up above. That’s the only way!

“Qin above!” Allen cried out.

Allen felt he was in the middle of a storm.

The wind was strong but he felt as if he couldn’t breathe. Allen followed by the Lightning Qilin flew upwards with lightning speed. They don’t want to be entrapped here even a single minute.

It was high, extremely high with the height of around 30 – 40 meters or even more, the strength of this tornado seemed to possess the power to break a country with ease.

As Allen and Lightning Qilin was almost at the opening, at this moment,

Boom!!

An explosion happened and at the opposite side of where Allen and the Lightning Qilin was a full image of the enormous monster flying towards them.

Not good!!

Allen’s expression froze.

Its tentacles were spread wide open and at the center of it was a huge gaping maw with numerous sharp teeth that looked like bones stakes, completely different from the mouth located on the face so it must be the lower mouth of the monster!

Allen and Lightning Qilin wanted to dodge but because of the monster’s huge size, it almost seems as if it enveloped the entire sky.

Damn it! So this was a trap?!

Allen never expected for this monster to have this kind of intelligence.

When the monster’s mouth was already several meters away from them, the Lightning Qilin suddenly faced Allen.

“So long master, survive!”

It suddenly said and with a ‘Boom!’ Allen was blasted with a lightning towards the small gap of the monster’s tentacles.

“QIN!!!!”

Allen was shocked and his wide open wide open.

Reflected in his vision was the scene of the Lightning Qilin almost enveloped by the huge mouth.

As if you idiot monster!!

Even if you want to die, without my permission you still can’t die!!

Allen, without hesitation, summoned his Grimoire, “CANCEL SUMMON!”

He called out.

The Summoning Grimoire lit up and the Qilin that was pierced by some teeth turned into light and flew towards the grimoire. As long as it was still alive, even if it was on the brink of death, the Grimoire can keep its life.

Seeing this happened, Allen almost forgot how to breathe.

Did it work?!

He opened flipped the page and in Lightning Qilin’s page;

[ Lightning Qilin

Status: Gravely Injured; Fainted.

( Impossible to Summon for a short time!  ) ]

Reading this, Allen finally heaves a sigh of relief. That was close! Too close!

Damn that Qilin! Doing unnecessary things!

Allen cursed inwardly. Even if he was eaten, he knows that he still has a high chance to survive. He was a Lightning Human! A logia and he can pass through anything if he transforms into lightning.

That Lightning Qilin sacrificing his life to him, seriously, should that Qilin stop giving him a headache?!

Failed to eat anything, the monster was enraged and let out an angry howl. It then passed through another side of the tornado and disappeared.

Allen was completely angry. He almost lost Qin and this drives him crazy.

And anger cleared his thoughts.

At this moment, Allen looked as he always had, with his tousled dark hair and deep and mysterious crimson eyes, but if Mia and the others were here, they would be surprised as they would have never seen him filled with such rage as this.

Anyone who dared to hurt his family would suffer his full wrath!

Electricity arced between his fingers and sparks flashed in his eyes.

“Bastard Monster! I will return and get back at you for this, surely!”

His voice hummed with power.

His black and already a bit wore out parka flapped crazily. His eyes glowed, his pupils shining in a crimson color.

As if hearing Allen’s words, the monster let out a loud roar and the huge tornado slowly went towards Allen.

By way of answer, Allen spread his hands.

No choice, he needs to accede.
