-Vol 3: Enemies in The dark-
-Conspiracies(2)-
Kenshin didn’t know what Core was concealing from him, but he understood the weight of the problem he was facing. Getting too strong too soon was also a problem it seems. But he wasn’t afraid. Because he had the system, increasing his willpower was very easy for him. There was no need for him to meditate for hours.
Right now he had four Ap in store, without hesitation he applied all of it to his WIL. But he felt no change unlike before. It has to be expected as compared to his other stats his WIL was subpar.
His stats were very mismatched.
After that he went to his home, intending on training and honing his body.
Unknown to him, at this time weird things happening all over the north pole.
Huge icebergs were melting and breaking apart. The grounds were cracking as big fissures appeared all over. Monsters that no one had ever seen were coming out of these fissures. Some were as massive as mountains while others were as small as cats, but every single one of them was dangerous and deadly.
Arranging themselves neatly, they marched towards the south. Leading them was one of these cloaked individuals.
It seemed as if the monsters were afraid of these cloaked individuals as they maintained a healthy distance from them. Some of the intelligent ones would repeatedly look at them in wary.
From a bird’s eye view, one could see endless white monsters, following behind a single black dot. Similar scenes were happening in different locations of the north as well. Huge hoards of monsters were following behind a single cloaked individual.
Soon enough one of the monster hoard lead by a cloaked individual reached a human dwelling. The humans were still unaware of the huge monster hoard approaching as they went on with their business.

AlphaPoint is a hidden from common populace village consisting only of Hunters from the north. The population wasn’t high, but each and every one of them were high levelled hunters. They would often hunt the monsters roaming outside as well as in a few dungeons located nearby. There was also a sub-branch of DCB as well as many guilds located in this area.
Everyone in this small village was busy with their own business, some trying to sell his stuff while others were preparing for their next raid. Some of the shops were extremely busy in the morning that sell materials and foods. The few restaurants located here were packed with patrons, with some of them standing.
But a serious tragedy was going to fall on such a busy place.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
While everyone’s busy with their own matters, the ground began to shake violently. As if a mini earthquake had occurred, everything shook violently.
“What?”
“What’s happening?”
“Is this an earthquake?” voices of various panicked hunters heard throughout the small village as everyone tried to come out to open and stabilize themselves. They were under the impression that it was just a simple earthquake, so no one was looking overly panicked.
“Look! There's something coming from that side!” suddenly someone shouted loudly. His shout attracted everyone’s attention near him. Looking at the pointed direction, they saw a huge avalanche coming their way. The weird thing was that this small village wasn’t near any mountainous area for it to experience an avalanche.
Some of the powerful Hunters who had advanced visions saw it differently. Their faces paled as they started to sweat even in the cold climate.
“These are no avalanches! These are f*** monsters coming at us!” One of the high-class hunters shouted in fright. He was able to see just how frightening the beast hoard was. Not just him, every powerful hunter saw this, with some of them, were sneakily running away. The beast hoard was just too frightening for them to fight.
Within a few minutes, the beast hoard reached the outer wall and broke it easily. The flimsy wall posed no threat to such a massive beast hoard. They attacked the human dwelling. Within a few minutes, all the human hunters were slaughtered down to the last man. The snowy white floors were drenched in blood and turned red. Dismembered body parts were scattered all over the place.
After killing every last human, the beast hoard didn’t proceed any further and opted for settling down. It seemed to have been an order from one of those cloaked individuals.
Similar things happened all over the north. Many small human dwellings were slaughtered by these mysterious beast hoards. The hoard was so sudden that they didn’t get the time to run.
Now, not a single human was alive in the north. Every one was either killed or eaten by the monsters.

On the fourth day after this happened, the whole world was in uproar and panic. The north pole was totally cut off from the rest of the world. There were huge ice walls formed overnight, blocking the entrance to it. A thick mist had formed over the sky, blocking the aerial view.
These mists were also acted as a type of interference for the signals.
Nobody knew what happened inside the pole. They were even unaware of whether the humans were alive or dead.
High-level officers and individuals from all over the world became very tensed at the situation. They had never expected this to happen, even, in their dreams. A complete pole was separated from the rest of the world! What kind of concept was this?
More importantly, Why? Why did such a thing happen?
Everyone was in fear and panic right now. Although the government of various countries had concealed this news, something of such big scale won’t be hidden for long. Sooner or later it will come out to the public’s eye. At that time, no doubt chaos would follow.
No government wanted that! Even the top class guilds that were in control of a country-size area didn’t want that to happen.
That night a unanimous decision was taken between all the superpowers of the world. A team consisting of all the powerful hunters of the world would form and send to the north pole. Their mission was to find out exactly what was happening on the other side of the ice wall.
On a side mission, they were to rescue as many humans as possible, considering they are alive in the first place.
An order was sent to all the branches of DCB and guilds, all over the world. They were to gather the powerful hunters in their branch and sent them as soon as possible to the north pole.
That night, while Kenshin was sleeping peacefully, suddenly his phone rang loudly. And the call was from none other than Suguro.
