-Vol 3: Enemies in The dark-
-Challenging Level 3 dungeon again!-
Kenshin didn’t feel tired at all. With skills like Passive Regeneration and Tireless Body; getting tired without making some serious workout was becoming very difficult. For past three days, he was not doing any serious exercise or engaging in some blood pumping battles. As a result, he was not feeling tired and sleepy, even though it was close to midnight.
Tossing and turning on his bed, he felt too energetic to sleep.
“Eii! So, irritating!” He screamed to no one in particular. He’s frustrated. With him not feeling tired, he wasn’t able to sleep. Now he was bored after laying on the bed for a long time.
“What can I do?” he thought. In the middle of the night, what can he do indeed!
He didn’t have friends to spend time with, even if he had; who would entertain him at this hour of the night? He also didn’t have a girlfriend to share some mushy feelings. As for family, his only have a sister. Right now she was in her academy.
“Wait for a second! Am I, really, that pathetic?” Kenshin suddenly had a frightening realization. He was, in fact, really, that pathetic. From the moment his parents died, he dropped the school and didn’t have any relation to them.
During his career as a hunter, his only focus was to get as much money as possible. He had given many girls the wrong impression due to that money-grubbing nature of his. But he was desperate, what can he do?
Wooing girls were not even in the top ten of his to-do list!
Mrs. Yui’s words make sense. As of right now, both his and Akari’s lives were on the right track. There was nothing for him to worry about, anymore. Now that he thinks about it, he felt like he should seriously consider her proposal.
But all of that for later, right now, he should think about what he should do in this hour of the night!
“Should I go to a dungeon?” Kenshin muttered. He hadn’t been to any dungeon for the last six days. During that battle, he had gained many skills and upgrades. After that, it seemed as if he had stagnated. He wanted to reach his limit as soon as possible and surpass it. Only by doing so, can he be more powerful.
As for the dungeons, he understood that level 2 dungeons held no more meaning to him. He could solo those dungeons. Hell, he could even speed run them. Opting out the level 2 dungeons, Mito had only a level 3 dungeon.
The very dungeon from where everything started.

“Shal I go there?” Kenshin wondered. He thought of that near-death experience and shivered for a second.
“No, right now I am different from that day. I had become stronger. I will no long succumb to such situation again!” Kenshin said loudly. He understood that he had developed a trauma for that dungeon. But to become he had to overcome that trauma.
“To the level 3 dungeon then!” Kenshin took a deep breath while prepping himself to face his trauma.

In the middle of the night, when the whole city was asleep; a man wearing a black hoodie was running at speed, impossible for a normal human to achieve. In fact; his speed could rival that of a modern sports car.
Without a doubt, this person was none other than Kenshin. He was running with everything he had to see what’s the maximum he could achieve. But even after running at such speed, he still could feel that it wasn’t his maximum.
He increased his speed again.
The surrounding was becoming a blur to him. He was reaching the limit of the speed of his perception. The air resistance was also becoming unbearable. Thanks to his High-Speed Movements Skill, he was feeling less air pressure than he should have.
The dungeon was around one hour travel from his house by a public bus. But by running at such a high speed, he was sure he would be reaching that place within the next ten seconds or so! It’s only been a minute since he left his house!
His speed, it had really increased the limit of a human body could handle. Now the Military camp was gradually coming to his field of vision.
Seeing this, he started slowing down.

The military soldier in charge of the dungeon gate was feeling very bored and tired. He had been standing here for the last five hours. Just as he was about let loose a yawn, someone appeared on of his field of view.
It was so sudden that he nearly let out a girly scream. But as a trained soldier, he immediately adjusted himself and pulled his handgun and pointed it towards the object in front of his field vision.
After regaining composure, he noticed that it was, in fact, a young man who didn’t look a year older than 20.
Getting angry, he placed the gun on his head and screamed. “Who are you?”
But Kenshin didn’t answer him. He didn’t even care about the gun pointing to his head. He rummaged through his pant pocket and brought out his golden license. He handed it to the soldier.
“What!?” suspiciously, the soldier took the golden card and inspected it. The moment he did, he felt like an electric current ran through his body. It turned out to be a high-class officer!
“SIR! I am sorry for my impudence! I didn’t know about it!” the soldier immediately put away the gun and saluted Kenshin. As someone working for DCB, his rank was even higher than a Major. He has the ability to command a battalion of soldiers.
Unfortunately, right now he was unaware of this.
“No problem! You continue with your duty.” Kenshin waved off the soldier and walked towards the DCB office. Seeing no need to announce his identity, he simply entered the dungeon after going through a document check-up at the dungeon entrance.

Unlike the previous two dungeons, the gateway to this dungeon appeared inside a sinkhole. It was so well placed that, one only has to jump into that hole, and he will appear inside the dungeon.
As he jumped inside the sinkhole, his vision distorted and the scenery around him changed. Then suddenly he was standing on a stairway. The stairway was leading down to an ancient looking garden, which could only belong to a god.
The garden had large walls surrounding it; as if it was preventing something from entering it. The whole place was filled with wild plants and roots. There was no semblance of a well-managed garden anymore.
It was the place from where everything began.
Taking a deep breath, Kenshin calmed his rapidly beating heart and took a step down, towards the garden.
