-Vol 5: A New Life-
-The conclusion to a Pointless battle-
In the silence of the night, in a narrow alleyway, bright flashes of purple, red and golden could be seen coming accompanied by heartwrenching pressure and incomparable killing intent. From the flashes of light, the red and gold held the dominant presence, aside from them, nothing could be seen. Suddenly the sound of something crashing was heard as a man landed heavily on the ground, forming a trench on it. A few seconds later a lady was revealed to be standing a few meters away who had a burning right hand and three concentric discs rotating behind her, giving her a divine presence.
Kenshin and Lily looked at each other with unknown intentions behind their eyes. Lily didn’t want to fatally injure Kenshin and Kenshin didn’t use his killer moves, as such they were in a stalemate. From this fight, Kenshin benefitted a lot. He finally found a Wheatstone to grind and sharpen his skills and stats, at the same time clarify where he stood strength wise. Without using his collection of skills like [Summon Minions] providing him much needed help, [Create Dungeon] which would give him an additional 500% stat boost as well as help from Core and other monsters from Ekla’s garden dungeon, [Exploding Domian], [King’s Presence], [Starfall Dominion] and his choice of ‘Titles’, he could barely contend against Lily’s while she holding back somewhat. He wasn’t sure by how much, Kenshin was sure she was using at least 70% of her strength.
Although it was still not enough, Kenshin could make a rough guess that with using his full power, he could defeat someone who had reached level 160. It’s a stretch out guess, but he was sure he could hold on against them without any problem. Well, if he uses his invincibility granted by his revival after death, he could probably kill a level 199 hunter. As for level 200, he could only run in the opposite direction when he sees them. Kenshin’s confidence originated from this battle with Lily. Regardless if Lily finds out what she seeks or not, Kenshin already benefited from it. From henceforth, any more will be pointless. Kenshin decided to wrap this up.
“Okay Lily, since you want to see my Intent that much, I will show you!” Kenshin spoke as he sheathed his sword back to its scabbard. The scabbard was just for the show, to hide his Inventory, he used this method often.
“Ho! Why the change of heart?” with a frown Lily gently asked. She wasn’t showing it on her face but fighting while holding back was causing a huge toll on her body. She was also taking damage although little, it still piled up and was making her stumble every now and then. The thing that startled her most was the recovery prowess of Kenshin. Even when he was wounded by her, with just a few minutes of rest, he would be back for more. She felt like dealing with a stubborn cockroach who just keeps coming no matter what.
“This battle was starting to become pointless…since you want to see my full power intent, there is no harm in doing so. I also realized that you harbor no mean mentality towards me, so there is no need for me to push my luck. But I just want you to be prepared for a disappointment. I have only awakened my Intent not too long ago…so…” leaving his sentence midway, Kenshin relaxed his body and closed his eyes to envision that Umbrella in his consciousness. Slowly a red aura flickered around his body like a flame surrounding a piece of wood. It wasn’t fully opaque, as there was still transparency in it and Lily could see through them.

BOOM!!
Suddenly the aura exploded from his body, and the previously transparent flame became more visible. Behind him, the shadow of an umbrella emerged as it faced to the sky. The umbrella was closed, but still, the pressure coming out of it wasn’t small. The surrounding wall, as well as the road beneath, cracked just from the appearance of that umbrella in the real world.
Lily who was standing tens of meters away from Kenshin also felt the pressure, making her eyes widen. She couldn’t believe that someone who just formed his intent not long ago had already reached the stage of condensation or manifestation of that Intent in the real world so soon. Generally, an average person needs at least a year to manifest their underlaying Intent in the form of a physical object in the real world. Although he had yet to manifest the umbrella into a solid object, its form had already been conjured. With just a little practice and guidance, he could manifest it completely.
The reason why she was so surprised was that the manifestation of a WILL or Intent doesn’t need someone to be a genius or naturally gifted. As long as they had a firm will and unwavering determination, their Intent will take the form. There was a record of some genius people who couldn’t manifest their Intent even after ten years of their awakening of Intent. There were also some people who within a year, manifested their intent as well as its physical manifestation.
She knew a person who had taken only one month to completely manifest and master his Intent. Kenshin had already beaten him in term of awakening speed. Although he had yet to master them, Lily was sure, given Kenshin’s comprehension, he would take almost a week before he masters it completely. He just needs a little guidance.
Suddenly the aura vanished without a trace, and Kenshin kneeled on the floor with his paler than snow and sweat covering his brows. A horrified look plastered on his face and his shoulders shook every now and then. Gritting his teeth, he sat down on the road and closed his eyes, trying to recover his depleted WIL. His originally three digits WIL was now down to two. With the depletion of WIL, all the actions and killing he had done till date started to weigh on his psyche, giving him scare and reducing his mental stability. It was the biggest weakness of using WIL. If mana depleted, one would feel weak. If health depleted, one would simply die, but if WIL depleted, it would plunge the user into a state that was worse than experiencing Hell.
The psychological backlash one would experience at that time would be out of this world. All their actions, all their deeds, and experiences would weigh on their mind, making them suicidal in some cases. Therefore in most cases, powerful hunters would keep track of their usage. Although they didn't have a system like Kenshin to see their consumption in a numerical value, they could still feel it in their mind.
Kenshin already knew this would happen, but it would be this serious he didn’t know. Nonetheless, he somehow maintained his composure despite huge psychological pressure. By doing so he realized another thing, his speed of WIL’s regeneration wasn’t slow either. Within just a few seconds, he had already regained at least 50 WIL. Going by this speed, within a few minutes, he might regain all his WIL.
While Kenshin was busy with restoring his depleted WIL, Lily fell into a trance as if she was in deep thought. The form Kenshin had shown earlier was really unusual than what she was used to. She could guess that it was at least on the same level as her. Although he lacked fine manipulation like her’s, under such circumstances, he still maintained that aura form for a few minutes.
‘His recovery speed isn’t normal either!’ Lily thought when she saw a quickly recovering Kenshin. His past uneasiness and pained face had already vanished. Although he still looked pale, it wasn’t as bad as before. She could still remember her time, she was like that for half a day. Compared to her, Kenshin was a thousand times faster at recovery.
