-Finding his will-

After listening to everything from that manager, Kenshin lost all interest in continuing this false acting any longer. With his mind occupied by the info he received, he felt that this matter no longer could be regarded as a personal vendetta, not when the lives of many small children at stake here. He needs to cool his head off before continuing on what he should be doing.

Kenshin also didn’t know he would find such an interesting piece of news while exacting his vengeance. He was ill prepared for the info dump, causing him to have a mood swing. Although he had power and his status elevated at a speed of a bullet train in just a month, deep down he was still that common man who was struggling to survive in the cruel society. Things like child porn racket or mafia still managed to make his mood bitter.

In the current society where power talks and weak suffer, things like murders, rape, organ trafficking or this child porn racket…all of these are very common. Most of the time, the government was powerless in handling these matters due to the involvement of large characters behind the scenes, allowing these pests to infest.

Kenshin knew this…but always ignored it. His reason was that he was too powerless to bring any change. It was the problem of common men, they don’t try or more like do not dare to stop crime even if it happens in their neighborhood. At best they would run away and start their lives somewhere else. Kenshin was also like that, and deep down he was still like this. He was still avoiding troubles that were happening around him, even while knowing that in the long term these things would harm him.

But today, it was like an eyeopener for him. The criminals, whom he always had ignored, now reached at his doorsteps, threatening his loved ones. Now he lacked nothing, he had power, he had status; if even under these circumstances, he keeps quiet, then he wasn’t fit to be called a man. He wasn’t fit to hold the power he currently had.

Akari was his family, but so was Ellie and Mrs. Yui. Now, people that shouldn’t be near them were already intruding on their private lives. The water has already risen to the neck, if even now he didn’t do anything, he would one day drown on it.

He had to do something while there was still time. The enemy was still unknown to his power’s true extent, he must do something…but not as Kenshin Muto.

Its time for the unknown hero, who pushed the arm of that demon back in the north, to take the stage again. Its time for his alias to come forth and cause mayhem.

While thinking of such things, Kenshin unknowingly appeared near the park where he killed that witch a few days ago. Letting out a tired sigh, he sat on a bench nearby and stared at the sky, his thoughts were unknown.

“You look tired! Are you okay?” a crisp voice entered his eardrums, pulling him out of his reverie.

Moving his eyes, he found a nineteen years old girl with black hair standing near him with a nervous expression. Her hair was not long but not short either, coming down just below her neck region. She was wearing a purple sundress and a hat, covering her face from viewers, but since he was sitting below her line of sight, he could clearly see her facial features.

She’s a cute girl, Kenshin admitted to himself. With a rounded jaw and big eyelashes, she had the making of a cutie. He cheeks were inflated and red like ripe apples. Her plump lips were pink, Kenshin could also see that she didn’t apply any lipstick, it was her lip’s natural color.

Since she was bowing a little to ask about his health, he could see her forbidden valley from the top of her dress. It was…dissapointing, to say the least. Although they weren't flat, at best they could be considered as mosquito bites.

‘She looks nieve and probably ditzy too!’ it Kenshin’s first assessment of the girl. But since she had good intentions for him, he didn’t spoil that by talking that out loud.

Flashing a smile, he looked at her and said “I am fine. A little weary but nonetheless fine…thank you for asking.”

“Is that so! Thank god. I was just sitting there and saw you looking so deep in thought, so I got curious…ah…did I perhaps intrude upon your privacy?” she panicked instantly as he eyes moved around, avoiding Kenshin’s gaze. She looked just like a frightened rabbit. Even Kenshin with all his willpower couldn’t help but laugh from his heart. Patting the seat near to him, he beckoned her to sit beside him.

Brushing the sundress below her legs, the girl sat down still looking a bit nervous about everything. Adjusting her hat a little so that her face wouldn’t be visible to him, she sat silently.

“I am Kenshin. May I know your name?” Kenshin asked gently. He found interacting with this girl very amusing, with all kind of expressions she was showing, it successfully distracted him out of his depressing thoughts.

Grabbing the hem of her hat, she stuttered out “My name is Isabella. Please don’t laugh but my parents named as such because it sounded cute.”

“Why would I laugh? I know a girl whose name is Ellie. It's not that weird to have a foreign name these days. By the way, you are a new face I am seeing, are a tourist?” Kenshin asked with a smile tugging his lips. At the same time, he looked at her direction from the corner of his eyes.

“Huh! Ye-yeah. I am visiting a relative in this town. Since I am free this morning, I came to play alone…is that bad?”

“I never say it's bad! And you…are too stiff. Relax a little and enjoy the surrounding. Let me tell you about possible places to see in this town…” after that Kenshin rattled about all the sightseeing places in Mito. But he kept quite about her change in posture when he asked about her being not a local.

He also didn’t activate his system to check her stats, not only it was annoying, but it would also break the mood he had made. Besides, she might be a hunter came for some business, her matters have nothing to do with him.

After the discussing ended, the girl left the place but not before bowing and thanking one more time. But Kenshin still sat there, his head was filled with thoughts about the future. He had already come to a decision relating to the matters.

Although he couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything about the crimes happening elsewhere, he would still not ignore those that happens around him. Most importantly, he wouldn’t back down from bringing chaos into those who dare to threaten his family, even if they are the leader of a country.

To keep his family safe and protected, to make his loved ones feel protected and safe, he would go to any length and use any methods no matter the cost. Even if it angers the god, he won't back down…that’s the will he forged while sitting on this lonely bench.

Just a second after he made this decision in his heart, a red color light gushed out from his body and flooded the whole park, throwing the whole surrounding into chaos.
