-Vol 5: A New Life-
-Chapter 334-
Kenshin watched in silent amazement as the small particles which was Core’s body parts disintegrate into thin air, one by one. Then his eyes landed on the mountain-like hammer and an equally big anvil discarded on the ground. Shaking his head, he smiled wryly and thought ‘Core if anything it should be you who must be careful. You have broken a contract made in the presence of the godly system.’ Kenshin didn’t tell Core about this, after all, he was also a human, and humans sometimes hold grudges.
Then he pulled his phone and gave a call to the secretary of Suguro.
“Hmm, yeah, about this image. It’s a fake. Yeah, please contact the authorities to not mind about this.” After that, he put the phone back on his pocket and sat there, digesting the words spoken by Core. His horizons were broadened, that true, but it came with some additional headaches. Currently, he was thinking of what he should be doing with this information.
‘Sigh! It's better to tell everyone about this. I am not the only person who lives in this world, neither I am the leader. I am not even the strongest person. There are many more strong people here, let them think about this. I will stick to my own matters.’ Kenshin came to this decision after long deliberation. He didn’t want to be the only one who does everything. He had done the same thing back on the north, using Vera as the medium, he pushed the workload to the others. Although he had to do the bulk of work, thanks to the interference of the powerful hunters, his work was flawless and void of any hitches.
After that, he stood up and decided to go back too. There was nothing for him here, and he wanted to see Yuki as soon as possible. It was the best opportunity as some of the top brass people were gathered in his locality. If he goes through Yuki, given her status, people were bound to take everything seriously.
Just as he was about to use [Burrow], a sudden shine attracted his attention. Looking down, he found a small purple stone shining nonstop, discarded unimpressively on the huge anvil. Getting curious, he decided to inspect. After a few jumps, he arrived at the top of the anvil. Before his awakening, his physical stats, especially his ATK was 1999, which was equivalent to the thrust of a powerful engine. Now, although he wasn’t sure how much it had increased, he was sure at least it had crossed 2.5k. When he jumped with that much force, it was bound to be a sight to behold. It made him feel like a certain green and angry superhero from his favorite comics series.
With just a few jumps, he managed to scale the huge mountain-like anvil. After arriving at the top, he calmly walked towards it and reached near the discarded purple flashing object. It was actually a broken sword. Half of its blade was missing, with was its handle and guard. Only the tip remained, it was actually that was flashing incessantly.
“What is this?” he wondered and grabbed the broken sword shard. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the system to know about it. Nonetheless, he was sensing a huge amount of magic and some unique energy that he had never sensed before from it. He knew that it was something probably discarded by that Core. A discarded part of an artifact that could help one cross dimensions! How important was that? Kenshin stored the broken sword shard into his Inventory and jumped off the mountain. This time he decided to no longer use the skill, rather run with his own power. He wanted to see where his limits lie.

After doing minor stretches, he took a running pose, then waited for the right moment to run.
1…2…3…”Go!!” Shouting loudly, Kenshin used all the force in his body and pushed himself off the ground.
Boom!!
A huge booming noise was heard as the ground beneath where Kenshin stood caved in with spider web cracks and fissures continued to spread all over the mountain. Later, the whole mountain broke and caved in as it couldn’t manage to hold itself upright due to the many cracks at its base. By the time this happened, Kenshin had already crossed more than 5 km distance. And it took only 5 to 10 seconds.

“…please contact the authorities to not mind about this.” Hearing Kenshin said this, the man took a breath of relief. Then he looked at the man standing in front, it was none other than Suguro. After Kenshin disappeared, the meeting of higher-ups ended. The PA showed the same image to Suguro, and after hearing that Kenshin had gone to confirm the authenticity, Suguro told him to wait for the time being.
“What did he say?” Suguro asked with a frown on his face. He was very worried about this, after all, they were talking about a real-life giant here. No one knows how strong it was, or if anyone in this world could take it on. More importantly, he was worried about where it came from. If one came out, then more must follow later…it was really troubling.
“He said the image is a hoax and there was nothing there. he also asked me to not make authorities worry about this.” The man said while smiling. Hearing this, Suguro took a deep breath that he was holding for god knows how long. Looking at the image, he gritted his teeth and said, “Ask everyone here to use all their power to stop the circulation of this image and get me the damn person who posted this online. I will teach a good lesson to that person who did this. Also, remind the other relevant departments that this image is a hoax and they shouldn't waste their time on this.”
“Yes, definitely. Also, sir, how did the meeting go? Did they deduce the possible cause?” the PA asked whilst looking at Suguro expectantly.
“Nope. They couldn’t come into a solid conclusion. In the end, Miss Aoi decided to take this matter to the Elders’ Court.” As he said Elders’ Court, Suguro looked very grave and serious. That name implies power, a power that was above all and everyone else in this world.
“What Elders’ Court? You think those old monsters spare a glance at such a remote city?” The PA knew pretty well about what Suguro was talking about.
“I think this matter is strange enough to garner their attention. Also, you don’t know, but a member of that court was there during the mission of Sea Monster invasion. Who would believe it? I only came to know about it two days after that.” Suguro shook his head as he said these.
“Are you talking about lady Sachiko? When did she join those old monsters?” The PA was pretty surprised at the news.
“It's not lady Sachiko. Although she is very powerful and has an even more powerful status, she is still far away from level 200, she wouldn’t be eligible for the court. It's the old man who would always hang around with her, even I don’t know what his name is. I heard he is an old friend of the captain who sailed the ship that boarded by appointed hunters from DCB.” Suguro said as they both walked towards his office.
“Really! Wow! I hope those guys consider this matter seriously, it was really strange that a dungeon just vanishes out of nowhere…” The PA shook his head too, as he followed Suguro to his office.
At the same time; in another place, two girls, one young and one a little older stared at each other. One had a serious and cold look while others had a sheepish look as they both stared at each other. They were none other than Yuki and Aoi Yamazaki.
They stared at each other in silence for sometime before Aoi broke it with a snort. Narrowing her eyes, she stared at her and said, “Don’t you think you should be saying something to me right now?”
