-Vol 3: Enemies in The dark-
-A dark gathering!-
In a place where only blue ocean could be seen stretching to the horizons, a small fisherman boat was rowing unsteadily. This small fisherman boat had seven people sitting on it, with all having their bodies and faces covered in cloaks. Weirdly enough the seven people were sitting in a such a way that everyone had their backs to the others.
There was one thing common about everyone, the picture of a golden skull etched to their backs.
“Roxe has died.” One of the cloaked people said, starting the conversation.
“What? Then what about the mission?” another one enquired.
“It failed obviously.” The one who started the conversation said.
“Isn’t that bad! That damn Roxe, can’t it do a simple job without failing on it miserably?” another light voice, obviously belonged to a female snorted.
“It’s indeed bad. That’s why I have called everyone here on this short notice.” The lead cloaked figure said and continued.
“Now that the first step was a failure, we have to change our strategy. Starting from the east is no longer possible, we have to start from the north. That place is devoid of all living beings; it will make our jobs easy. We can also remain hidden for a little bit longer before our boss comes back from his trip from that space crack.” the lead cloaked individual said.
“Speaking about the boss, how can his plans fail? It had never happened before!” another cloaked individual exclaimed.
“There was an anomaly. Somone who was out of his calculations. Although I am not sure how he managed to escape the boss’s visionary power.” The lead man said while shaking his head. Even he was not sure how this was possible. Something like this had never happened in the past. Their boss had never failed to vision the outcomes of his plans. Even for this plan, he had seen their victory, but the result was contrary to everyone’s expectations. Thank’s to their boss’s cautious nature that made them think of many contingency plans, that they were able to continue with the plan.
“So, who was this person that was able to kill Roxe? Even though it was weak, still it was not something a hunter of that area could defeat!” the woman from earlier asked.
“Right now, I have no information of him. I think he is a contractor who had most probably formed a contract with that dungeon’s core.” The leader said.
“A contractor? How rare? I think it will be a fun to fight with him.” The woman said in a flirtatious tone.

“For now. Refrain from revealing yourselves as much as you can. We will meet again in the north.” After saying his piece, the leader suddenly vanished, as if he was never there.
“Okay, everyone let’s meet in the north.” The woman said, after that, she also vanished the same way as the leader. After that, one by one everyone vanished from the place, leaving behind that lonely fishermen boat to float throughout the blue waters. If one can see the boat from the top, they would have seen a golden sigil in the middle of it.
In a place where no one was aware of, a group of people was busy with their schemes.
What are their schemes?

Inside the spacious living room, Kenshin was sitting on a couch while his hands on his chin. His hawk-like eyes were staring at a squirming Doi at the corner. Beside him sat Akari and her friends, looking at them curiously at them.
Earlier they were busy with some girls talk when suddenly they felt a huge amount of magic pressure coming from outside the room. As magic skill users, they were very sensitive to magic pressures. Usually, when a magic skill user of high level releases their magic, it creates a physical phenomenon around them. Generally, it increases the gravity around them, hence creating a pressure.
A skilled magic user can sense the magic in the pressure. All these girls were no ordinary girls, each one of them was a genius of a field. How can they not feel the magic pressure? Immediately on guard, they bolted out of the room in preparation of a battle. But what they saw was contrary to what they expected.
Instead of an enemy attack, they saw their teacher cowering on the ground while Akari’s older brother was furiously dialing someone’s number. What made them astonish was the red aura coming from his body. It was so intense that even they are feeling the pressure form it.
Not daring to make a sound, they could only stand in a corner while watching Kenshin and their teacher. Akari had stars in her eyes as she saw Kenshin’s aura. It was a proof that he was no longer a weak hunter. Now he was a strong person to whom nobody can talk down.
After that from Kenshin’s mouth, they heard the situation. After hearing, they couldn’t help but look disgustingly at Doi. Especially Akari, who was looking at him with a faint trace of anger.
This person tried to separate her brother from her, who did he think he was? Even the school’s principal had never said anything like that! Besides, who was he to decide what should happen in their life?
Seeing the disgusted look on the girls’ faces, Doi couldn’t help but feel depressed. Today was a very bad day in his life. In his arrogance, he had messed with the wrong person. He felt like he had kicked a metal wall, no forget it, it was not a simple metal wall. It was a metal wall with spikes. Not only his prestige was gone, even his future was at danger here.
Now he could only hope his uncle, who was the vice principal could think of something. When Kenshin was calling someone, he had secretly sent a text message to his uncle. As it was a short message, he couldn’t explain anything. It was just a short message to inform him that he was in peril and needs his help.
As the vice principal of Hunter’s Acadamy, he had quite the influence in DCB. If he wants, getting the location of someone and sending him help was of no big deal to him.
Somewhere else, a bald man could be seen sitting in a study while holding a phone in his hands. There was a frown visible on his face. After reading his nephew’s message, he pondered for some time. He knew his nephew’s prideful attitude. Perhaps he had offended someone he shouldn’t have, regarding this matter he was cautious.
But he was his only nephew. How could he neglect him? With a sigh, he dialed a number.
