-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-
-Ade’el’s challenge: You just have to defeat me!-
The gathered hunters looked at the lone green haired man with caution. They were not fools, the fact that he was confronting them at this time, moreover he was being surrounded by some of the cloaked individuals like whom they fought just now, it was clear that he wasn’t on their side. And to top it all, from the distinct pressure he was emanating, it was clear that he was strong…too strong!
“What are you?” one of the hunters in the lead asked, at this time they could no longer ask the question ‘who are you?’. The enemies they were facing aren’t humans, to begin with. In fact, for some of the hunters, it was their first time seeing so many ascended monsters who had attained their human disguise gathered at one place. What’s more, none of them was weak. There were still a few hunters who were busy with fighting their respective opponents, as such unable to join them.
Among these gathered people, not all are level 150 powerhouses; there were also some whose strength was similar to Vera. Unfortunately, when this event occurred, they were on a mission to escort all the weak hunters out of the area and got caught in the storm. They were forced to come here, the eye of the storm, even though they knew they would be of no use. Besides, the hovering monster above their head made their bodies tingle in fright, it made them feel like a sword was hanging above their necks. They couldn’t relax. They were even more reluctant to leave the side of the powerhouses. The presence of the monster was like cancer, it was there, threatening their life but they could do nothing about it.
“Welcome gentlemen. I, Ade’el, welcome you to this show of destruction. You are all privileged to watch the world being engulfed in chaos, sitting in the front seat throughout the event. You will encounter the glorious moment of our rise!!” Ade’el spread his hands and exclaimed with a wide grin stretched on his face. His handsome face, together with monochrome gave off a very unique vibe to everyone watching him.
But not one of them dared to admire him. His words just now had confirmed their suspicions, and they suddenly realized the source of all this issue. The way he spoke about the diabolical events as if talking about some movie he was going watch made their bones chill.
“Engulfed in chaos? Who the fuck do you think you are? Don’t underestimate us!!” a terse tempered middle-aged man who was wearing a changshan, belonging to China region guild, shouted while he lunged forth towards the Ade’el. He was one of the three level-150 powerhouses sent by China. Due to his young age and power, it made him proud of his abilities. As such he disregarded the danger of the situation, and directly attacked the enemy. In his mind, even if he has to fail, there were still two other powerhouses of their guild, they would surely come to support him.
As he accelerated towards the green haired man, his body suddenly bulged, and his muscles became defined. The changshan on his body became tighter and looked like a skin fitting dress, rather than a loose one.
When he passed the border carved by Ade’el, the latter's eyes narrowed as a derisive glint appeared on his eyes. The Chinese man was fast, very fast. Even with his bulky physique, he ran faster than Kenshin even with his Highspeed Movements and reached near Ade’el with his fingers curled into a tight fist.

“Die you bastard!!” screaming at the top of his lungs, he launched his fist to Ade’el’s face.
Bang!!
A huge booming sound was heard, as metal was striking another metal. Then the silhouette of that Chinese hunter flew away from Ade’el and landed several meters beyond the line Ade’el had drawn as a warning.
“What the…!” in surprise everyone looked behind and found the man lying motionless on the snowy ground. The right side of his face had been deformed with all his teeth disappearing somewhere. His nose bent to an awkward angle and blood oozing from it nonstop. His eyes were rolled back to the back of his head, a sign that he was unconscious.
“Please! Don’t be hasty. No need to hound on me, I am a little nervous when people come too close to me!” Ade’el looked towards the gathered hunter with an exaggeratedly, frightened, face while patting his chest, as if to calm his heart. Then suddenly his face twisted and his scared face disappeared, replaced by a calm demeanour.
“You think too highly of yourself! You want to beat me? With your measly strength, it won't be possible even if you try for a thousand years.” His words made some of the hunters to take deep breaths while others felt like he was boasting. But it became clear as day to everyone that their opponent was stronger than all of them individually. Alone they don’t stand a chance, but together, there might be one!
But, how can they work together when before today they all were like oil and water?
“You all seemed to be very indecisive about something! Okay, then let me tell you something. That thing above your head, it was a creature I am summoning from another world. That thing, its power was beyond measure and not something that you people can handle. Even if all the hunters in the world have to fight it at a time, they still won't be able to defeat it. The moment that thing comes here, you humans won't even get your spot in the future history. But I will give you all a chance, beyond me, lies the main function where you can deactivate the summoning ritual, all you have to do is to get past me and destroy the source of that pillar. Easy, right!?” as he spoke, Ade’el couldn’t stop himself from laughing. He was enjoying this. his only regret was to not be able to broadcast this worldwide, fearing that the true powerhouses of the world would come and instantly vaporize his existence.
The smirk on Ade’el’s face rubbed everyone the wrong way. After listening to everything, some of them couldn’t help but fall on their butts as a look of despair flashed on their face. Even some of the levelheaded ones looked pale as sweats poured out of their body like a faucet even under this freezing climate.
“Impossible! I don’t believe it!” one of the hunters, a fairly old man shouted as he glared at this green haired devil. He was having a hard time grasping the words of the green haired man. But although he denied believing in the mouth, deep in his heart, he believed it. He believed that the world was about to face its biggest crisis to date. That’s because he had an innate talent that allowed him to glimpse some of the possible future outcomes. For past three years, he was having this glimpse every now and then, the world was engulfed in a sea of flames as countless humans were dying every second. And in the horizon, stood a shadow so big that not even it’s head could be seen.
This vision had plagued him for the past three years. He even tried to relay about his visions to the guild, but nobody believed him. In fact, some of them thought he was paranoid and advised him to go and see a doctor.
But now, he became clear of his visions. He was not paranoid, and neither was his powers acting strangely, the world will come to an end by the end of the day!! This was what he had seen on his visions.
