-The Dungeon Break(3)-
“Come in!”
Hearing a reply after knocking thrice, Kenshin entered. The inside of Suguro’s office was a mess with important official papers lying around haphazardly. To the middle of his office lied his desk, on his seat Suguro was sitting while holding a stack of papers in his hand.
“You look really awful!” Kenshin commented after seeing Suguro’s state.
It should be noted that Suguro was a high-level hunter himself. For him to look like this, one can imagine how much stressed he was.
“Kenshin, you have finally arrived” Suguro was very happy seeing Kenshin. In fact, he was very stressed right now. The dungeon was exhibiting weird behaviors, some of the upper floors were suddenly becoming inaccessible and the group he had sent inside, had gone missing. All these factors attributed to his current state where he looked like a frustrated white collar worker.
“What’s the status?” Kenshin asked.
“Very bad. It’s heading in a direction we have no record of; exhibiting all kind of strange phenomena. Floors are becoming inaccessible and hunters have gone missing. It’s a real mess out there. We are also detecting irregular radiation fluctuations from last night” Suguro massaged his head and briefly explained the status.
Kenshin silently listened to him listing out the problems. He was also comparing it to what core had said before. Although not everything had come true, it was certainly going on that direction.
‘Looks like, I can’t delay this anymore’ he thought. Core said they have time, but from what he was seeing here, it doesn’t seem like the case.
“Suguro, I am going in. I have to check out what’s happening there” Kenshin said and stood up, heading for the door.
“Wait! Kenshin, right now, it’s very dangerous to go inside the dungeon” Suguro anxiously shouted when he heard that Kenshin was trying to enter the dungeon. He had already sent a team of hunters, though they were not as strong as Kenshin, who was a magic user. The result? All of them were missing right now. If a team was missing entirely without a single member managing to return, how can Kenshin, who was alone, will survive?
“There’s something seriously wrong here. Sitting here, we are practically blind. If I don’t go inside and see whats really happening; how will we know the truth?” Kenshin asked while looking Suguro in his eye.
Although, he was aware of what’s really happening, how can he say that he met a dungeon core? To disclose such information, he needs an excuse, that excuse can only work if he goes inside the dungeon now. Besides, he also had to meet Core, as soon as possible.

Kenshin’s words struck a chord in Suguro’s heart. In fact, he knew the situation’s importance better than Kenshin, but he was unwilling to send him in. It’s not because he was sentimental, but because, Kenshin was the last line of defense.
“I understand that. But, you were just recently drafted. For you to go inside, I won't recommend it”
“Don’t worry! I will take a peek inside and come out” after saying so, Kenshin ran away from his room, lest he stops him again with some other reasons.
“Kenshin! Wait a minute!” Suguro’s shouts were heard from inside, but he didn’t pay it any attention.
Kenshin briskly walked towards the gate of the dungeon which was now blocked by some military hunters. Flashing his golden license, he entered inside.
As expected, the first floor of the dungeon was crawling with zombies. It was not even 24 hours since he had cleared them up. He let out a worried sigh at this.

Kenshin decided to clear as many of these creatures as possible, so he used his skill to summon a minion and had it fight these zombies. It was his first time using this skill, after replicating it.
With a flash, a zombie appeared beside him. It was holding a sword which was an exact replica of his Skeleton Sword. Kenshin remembered the description of this skill, it summons a minion with stats exactly half of the summoner.
“Go” Kenshin commanded.
Heeding his command, the zombie ran as fast as it can. Very soon it jumped over a hoard of zombies, its sword flashed leaving behind a trail of white light. It exhibited all the skills Kenshin had learned with half of its efficiency. Even then, it was enough to slaughter these zombies.

Notifications popped one after another, and experience points increased slowly. The threat of zombies was nothing to it as it was zombie itself. With its high skills, it slaughtered zombies like a pig in a slaughterhouse.
Seeing this, Kenshin could only gape in astonishment. This skill was very op in his hands. Even the boss hadn’t shown this much ferocity when it used this skill. Unknown to him, it was all due to his high intelligence. The minion had half the value of all the stats of Kenshin, making it way more ferocious and powerful than the one boss had used.
The zombie minion had killed 100 zombies in less than one minutes, that was faster than Kenshin’s record. Suddenly an idea struck him; what if he deploys another zombie? Didn’t that mean he can clear up the entire floor again?
Itching to test out his idea, he used a skill point to level up, his summon minion skill by a level. After that, he bought a minor magic potion and filled his mana bar to the brim.

He used his skill again, summoning another zombie minion. Like the other one, it immediately vanished from its spot and slaughtered any zombie that came to its field of view. The place which was once the crawling space for zombies became their chopping board.
With the increase of his EXP, somehow his title effect also boosted by this, even though he was not the one killing them.
Fifteen minutes later, Kenshin was standing alone amidst a sea of corpses with his face gaping like a pipe. Not a single moving zombie was on sight, having all them slaughtered by his minions, though they also perished in the end.
The exp he had gained was not much, but what he gained was his title bonus, which was now 1500%.
“This…!! why didn’t I think of it earlier?” Kenshin screamed to no one in particular.
