-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-
-The Golden Skull Organization!-
Our hero Kenshin didn’t know about the sudden changes that had occurred among his enemies. Neither was he aware that the man behind everything was coming himself to the centre stage, he was simply busy with his actions to complete his tasks given by the system.
As such he began his trek through the cave towards the place that was being marked by the map. But not long after he entered the cave, he encountered these little devils. Bats! That’s right this high density of monsters detected by his system were nonother than bats. But they aren’t average bats. Similarly, like that earthworm he had faced back in the level 3 dungeon, these bats were also magical bats who were, by a leap of fate, acquired the ability to absorb the magic from the air and use it as their own, hence attaining a very unique evolution.
What’s more, these bats were using their louder than usual voice as a form of weapon against intruders. These roars were magically enhanced as such could be fatal to a normal hunter, let alone normal humans. For especially strong hunters, it could only cause a mild sense of discomfort, but one should think what these little beasts can do with their tiny claws when the hunter was writhing in pain. Either way, it was fatal.
When he was unaware of such fact, Kenshin was nearly torn into pieces. The extraordinarily high pitched sound had made him nauseous, and when he was trying hard to regain his footing, these bats were ganged up in him and started to scratch him with their sharp claws. If not for his exceptional defence, his skin, as well as muscles, would have been chunked off by them.
Rescue came unusually in the form if his Heart of Rhythm skill due to which he was able to recognize this frequency. With the usage of this skill, he made his ears immune to the frequency at which these bats were screaming. But of course, it was just a crude way of using this marvellous skill. Kenshin had decided to do some extensive study on vibrations and sounds after he returns from here, or else he could no way use these three vibrations related skill into good use. Had it been Natasha, she would have killed these bats by overriding their frequency and producing another which was fatal for them.
But even so, he couldn’t do anything when these little monsters would gang up on him. All he could do was to surround him in a hexagonal cocoon, courtesy of his Destructive Energy Manipulation. Killing them was also of no use as they give a measly 20 EXP, to the current him, it was of no use.

While Kenshin was dealing with these bats, a major change was about to occur in the north, that would change everything.
Inside a dark chamber, where an image of a pentagram was etched to the floor, a group of three cloaked individuals stood in a triangle formation around the pentagram diagram, taking three key spots. They were none other than the lady who was in charge of that candle room, and the two other individuals from the organisation who were standing guard outside the candle room.
Although there were more than ten cloaked individuals in this area, the statuses of these three were the highest. In fact, these three were the core members of the organization. Earlier that day, the leader had ordered to prepare the teleportation circle for him. Due to sudden unexpected changes, he had decided to come personally and start the third phase of their plan, completely discarding their second phase.

From the beginning, their grand plan was divided into three parts. First was to create a huge commotion by simultaneously creating dungeon overflows. Then their second plan was comprised of causing as much chaos as possible so that they could attract all the highest power of the world into this northern region. And the third phase of their plan was to use these powerful hunters as a sacrifice in a forbidden ritual and summon a being from Outside World. Their leader would then use his mystical skills to control that beast and create mass destruction around the earth.
This grand plan was being cooked by them for the last ten years. The amount of time and resources that were invested were beyond the capability of humans on the earth. If not for being that mysterious person who had given the formula to summoning to their leader, they would have still thought of crude ways to cause harm towards humans. The knowledge of this mysterious individual was known to all the core members of their organization.
Initially, this organization was built by a ragtag group of sentient monsters who were prosecuted by humans. From the past, humans kept a regular check on their numbers and mould cause a regular massacre if the number increases. This cruelty had forced them to take shelter in dungeons and other secluded spots. As the years passed, hatred bred among the hearts of these masses, and they harboured the feeling of killing off all the humans.
As humans became their mutual enemy, the other races secretly formed an alliance and named it The Golden Skulls. Their motive was to cause as much chaos as possible towards humans. But even with the joint force of more than ten different races, due to their low numbers, at most they could cause was a mild annoyance to humans.
But everything changed when the current leader of the organization came along. He claimed that he had a divine skill in his possession and would use it to bring a new future for these allied races. Being attracted by his claim, they swore utmost loyalty to him, and Golden Skull organization went through a transformation. But somehow this secret meeting reached to humans’ ears. On the very next day, a large army of human hunters marched to various dungeons and secluded places and started purging these so-called Golden Skulls. The newly changed Golden Skull fought valiantly, but they were no match for the humans who had the numerical advantage. Besides these humans had another help, the advantages of dungeons.
By killing them inside a dungeon, humans would get powerful armours, weapons and other magical items, which were impossible for them.
The war continued for more than a hundred days, and the casualty on both sides exceeded the previous amount recorded in history. Finally, when it appeared as if humans were going to win and even the life of their newfound leader was in jeopardy, that unusual stranger suddenly came out of nowhere and easily slaughtered the humans cornering them. He alone killed more than thousands of human hunters who had easily transcended level 150. Unable to cope up with this enormous loss, humans finally retreated. But the other reason was also that at that time there was not a single human who could be a match of that stranger.
After that the Golden Skull, as well as these allied races, went into hiding under the leadership of the new leader, bidding for the time when they would reemerge and kill all the humans, like that stranger. Till now, no one except the leader knew who was that cloaked person and why did he help them, but they were sure that he was someone who hated humans as much as them.
All this happened more than eighty years ago.
The cloaked man from that day had also vanished as if he never existed. Not until 11 years ago when he unexpectedly appeared during one of their secret meetings and gave them this summoning method. This summoning method could use any living being as a sacrifice to open a gate to Outside World, a mysterious and brutal world and summon a very powerful being form theirs. That cloaked man wanted them to summon a creature from that realm and use it to destroy the humans.
As an order from his saviour, how could their leader oppose it? Besides it was completely aligned with their plans, how couldn’t they agree?

Suddenly the pentagram started to glow green as a ghostly silhouette materialized. Then it transformed into the outline of a man with long hair, and finally, after a second, the leader of Golden Skulls appeared on his full glory in front of the three members.
“Is everything ready?” he asked the moment he came out of that green light.
“Yes!” the three answered simultaneously.
“Good! let's go and give these humans hell!!” the man announced as he walked away in big strides.
