-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-
-Second Class Advancement-
He had never expected to see such serious changes to his stats, no wonder he was feeling energized and more powerful than before, the reason for that lied here!
First, his eye lay upon that human and ??? divide, the unknown element had increased to 20%. It was the reason why he lost control over his body after all! Whatever that ??? was, it’s very powerful. Even while only 20%, it was able to dominate his human side. But still, he was unable to figure out what that ??? was in the end.
Moving on, he found his level had stopped at 50, and instead of showing his required EXP for next level up, something else was written. It's something about the selection of a second class. Then Kenshin remembered, in some RPG games, you can able to upgrade the existing class by selecting the second class. Those classes would appear after every 100 or 200 levels. But here it seems to have appeared when he was only level 50. Not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth, he selected the level.
[Second class advancement requirements fulfilled. You are eligible to choose any of the following classes.]
1. Monster Knight(5% increase in all stats after every level up. 50% more EXP gain for killing a monster.)
‘Out of the following? It only got one choice though. Sigh, whatever.’ Kenshin thought of filing a complaint about scamming after reading the notification.
Then he selected the Monster Knight option.
[Ding* You have chosen your secondary class. Magic Knight class upgrades to Monster Knight.]
1. Gained 5% increase to all stats after every level up. 50% more EXP gain for killing a monster.
2. Learned Class Skill Lure.
3. Additional +5 ATK, INT, DEF after Every level up
[Ding* Since you have selected the secondary class. All the accumulated experience points could be used now.]
[Ding* You have leveled up]
[Ding* Your level has risen to 72]
[Ding* You gained +110 ATK, DEF, INT]
[Ding* You received 88 AP and 22 SP]
Wow! It was all Kenshin could say. In just a moment, he jumped all the way from 50 to 72. But it has to be expected as he had killed many monkeys and even killed that damn snake. Those monkeys gave close to 150,000 exp each. Very low exp compared to their level but again it has to be expected.
After observing a few times, Kenshin noticed something. The amount of EXP he gains from killing a monster depends upon how strong that monster was from him. It wasn’t related to level but their overall stat count.

Suppose, he faces a monster who was 5 levels above him. Calculating by standard attribute point gain, that monster’s stats should be 20 more than his. At that time he should be gaining a standard EXP plus 20% more as a bonus. But suppose, that monster’s overall stat count was lower than him by 20, then his total EXP would be deducted by 20% as a penalty, even though the monsters level is higher than his.
That’s how his level up system works.
Although those monkeys’ levels were higher than his, his overall stats were higher than them, especially after his constant level ups. Another thing he discovered that while he was in that deranged state, all his accumulated APs were automatically allocated to various fields.
He felt loss at this.
He skipped over MP, HP and title section as it would explain itself when he checks his stats.
Currently, all his stats were different than what he had last seen them. But again he chose to skip over them as it wasn’t the right place to check them. Unless he unseals his full power, he couldn’t keep track of increments. Right now wasn’t a good idea to do so, especially when he had a 500% bonus from his Create Dungeon skill.
Then he schemed over his skills, before that he moaned in depression for a few times after seeing his lives reduced to only 1. He had indeed died!
Every skill in his arsenal had gained some EXP with a few actually gaining a level or two. But the most noticeable change occurred in his Flaming Slash skill. In fact, it was no longer Flaming Slash but something called Fire Manipulation. Moreover, this skill has formed from a merging between his Flame Slash and Fire Constructs. The final product of that merging was able to dish out a staggering 2000 ATK value, how cool was that?
But it also comes with a price.
To use this skill, he had to spend 50 MP and 25 STA per minute. Kenshin also noticed that after his skills evolve, they tend to use MP at a minute basis, not per use basis. It was both a good as well as a bad thing as the amount of MP he had to use was more than before.
After seeing his stats, he couldn’t help but think that he had reaped a huge reward. Although he had yet to check his full stat values, he was sure that his total stat amount wouldn’t lose to anyone under level 100 or probably 150. This realization made him very happy. After all, there was a compulsory mission waiting for him to complete.
From that earlier notification, he discovered that to complete his task and stop that summon, he had to find another 6 of these pentagrams and destroy them. Besides, the good thing was that now his map was showing the exact location of those 6 pentagrams.
He just has to follow them and destroy them one by one. But from what happened today, he was sure that those places must have someone of these people as guards. If everyone had strength equal that woman, things would be tough for him. Although he had become strong, he has yet to touch the boundary of level 100. From what he heard from Vera during their time together, after one surpasses Level 100, a fundamental change occurs throughout their body.
Someone who was below level 100 wouldn’t hope to match them. Although there were some exceptions like Aoi, who had a Divine Skill. Now Kenshin was also added to that list. But even so, he wasn’t sure if he could match someone of that level. Besides, excluding skills, these people also had some frightening skills like that woman who was a summoner. Since he caught her off guard and she was ill-prepared for it, he managed to seriously hurt her, he was sure it won't happen again.
He wouldn’t be arrogant enough to think that he could take on these guys. He was sure that woman had some more powerful summons under her possessions, but since she was caught off-guard, he didn't manage to use them.
Completing that compulsory mission was a must, but this time he couldn’t charge in like a bull. Well, preparedness and a plan were needed for the job. With his skills like Opposites, Burrow his preparations was solid, he only needs a decent plan.
He then glanced towards Core and Vera’s prone form, the gears started to turn on in his head. His over 150 intelligence and wisdom worked overtime to make a perfect plan on how he should complete the mission.
