Although Kenshin destroyed the pentagram floating above the ground and the beam of light that was emerging from it, the pressure nonetheless didn’t lessen. Though it didn’t increase either.

“Oh common!! How the hell did I do that when I am unable to stand up?” Kenshin complained in his heart with a red face. How the hell was he going to drive that damn arm back when he was barely able to stand up? Then a thought struck his head, the system would never give him a mission that was impossible for him to complete, if that so, then how did it conclude that he could drive that arm back?

He remembered the properties the divine skill he just got, it can penetrate and deal 1000 damage to anything regardless defence or level. By virtue of this skill, the system might have concluded that I can drive that arm back.

“Okay, I understand your point. I say, system, how the hell am I going outside with this pressure bearing down on my body?” Kenshin complained. Of course, the system wouldn’t answer him. While complaining, Kenshin used every ounce of strength in his body to stand up. He didn't realize it yet, actually, the pressure that affected on his body before had reduced by at least 40% since earlier. It was because since earlier his WIL and PHY stats had increased by 40 each. It wouldn’t have possible to endure the pressure by having only that much stats. Kenshin was spiritually getting used to the pressure. It was in the end, all that to the system.

If he didn’t have the system, he couldn’t have able to endure the pressure even if his stats increased by 400.

Holding the walls for support, he ambled towards the exit. Every step was taxing but so was the excitement in his heart’s increment. He couldn’t help but want to see the so-called fifth servant’s arm and how his divine skill works on it. He wanted to see the very reason which had nearly destroyed his grand life plan of living his rich life.

With the amount of gold he had at his disposal, if he converts it to money, he could be called a rich second generation. But currently he wasn’t excited about that, that’s because the threat was yet not removed. Unless it was removed, he couldn’t relax.

On the outside, a state of silence prevailed. Everyone looking at the sky with their eyes wide as saucers. Especially the face of Ade’el was worth watching, it looked like a squeezed lemon right now. It couldn’t be any ugly than that.

Not only the light in the centre that was powering the spatial tear vanished but also the boundary pillars were no-where to be seen. All vanished to thin air suddenly as if they didn’t exist in the first place.

On the contrary, the faces of hunters who were also kneeling in the snow, couldn’t be anymore bright. Especially the old man who was able to see the future, his face was the brightest. Nobody except him knows the truth about the cataclysm that earth should have encountered. Until now he could able to see that vision again just by closing his eyes, but right now, he could no longer see it. This could only mean one of two things, either the event had already passed, or someone had changed the future.

In this case, the first one didn’t happen. Then that means, it was the second one. Someone had changed the future and avoided the absolute destruction outcome. He didn’t know who it was, but he was extremely thankful for that individual.

“How! HOW!?” Ade’el shouted loudly, rocking the floor with it. He had planned everything precisely and took into consideration everyone’s power levels. He even had to give an arm and a leg to those bastards to create this barrier that didn’t allow any interference. He had planned everything perfectly for past ten years, but how could it end before it could even come to fruition?

Why?

Had he been played by them? Suddenly Ade’el’s body shuddered when he thought about those people. Their power, their wisdom, their intelligence and more importantly their resources, it was out of one’s expectations. To join their ranks was like the highest form of honour one could reach.

He, Ade’el was also extremely happy when he was selected to join one of their sub-divisions. As a new recruit, he was given a task. But even with his ten years of plans and preparations, he still failed. Now the mere thought of them getting wind of his failure shuddered him to no end. Their punishments were never light, and death was the lightest of the punishment one could get.

Thinking of this, Ade’el’s subconscious screamed him to run and disappear from everything. But the pressure emanating from that exposed arm made him unable to even move, let alone cast his magic to escape.

“Hey! Everyone, look, the mist that covered the sky was vanishing.” One of the hunters who was laying with his face up suddenly screamed when a patch of the sky became visible behind the spatial tear.

“What?”

“Look, the mist it's clearing!! The sky, we can see it now.”

“has their plan failed?”

“Are we saved?”

The hunters clamoured while still laying on their spot. Their faces were filled with excitement.

Then as they all were celebrating, the exposed arm suddenly began to emit a misty red aura, and the pressure increased by a fold again. Those who were beyond level 150 and were kneeling earlier, could no longer sustain their position and fell down face first, those who were already laying, felt like an elephant was sitting on their chests.

Even speaking became difficult for them. They could only watch in horror as the spatial tear was being widened by the red glowing golden arm.

“That’s right! Tear it! tear down that barrier and prove your might to everyone!!” Ade’el also became excited seeing the hand that was struggling to open the spatial tear.

Just when he was in the height of excitement and the hunters were in despair, suddenly a four laser beam of varying colour hit the exposed arm and penetrated through the golden muscles. The grip of the arm on the spatial borders loosened, and the red misty aura vanished in an instant.

With nothing to keep it opening, the spatial tear began closing up at a faster pace. The arm also started to wiggle like a worm as it tried to keep the crack opened, but again another cluster of colourful beams hit it. The second was probably more painful than. First, the fingers of the hand, for a second opened and closed as if the owner it belonged to was in severe pain.

Then it began to retreat into the spatial tear slowly, like how it came outside.

“No! No! Come back! Come back here! Don’t go back! Show your might to these ants!” like a mad man, Ade’el completely lost his cool and shouted at the top of his lungs. With the retreating arm, his last hope of survival was also fleeting. He was the most miserable person among all the gathered group here.

At the same time, the pressure on the hunters also began to release. A few seconds later some of them completely regained their mobility. All of them, including Ade’el looked back to find who was it that forced back that arm inside. But when they saw the direction of trajectory, they didn’t find anyone, only dead corpse of the minions of this Ade’el.
