-Vol 4: To The North Pole!-
-Copying without any shame-
[Ding* You have ingeniously combined skill with your WIL.]
[WIL +100]
[Ding*You have created a new skill by combining WIL with your skill Death Stare]
[Skill Death Stare has undergone a Variant Evolution and became King’s Presence]
[King’s Presence Lv0][11000 EXP to next level up]
* The presence of King demands respect and obedience. When a King is present, others have to bow down to show their respect, if not, their heads would roll. Nobody can disrespect a King and get away with it.
* Paralyzes an enemy whose WIL is lower than the wielder. Stuns an enemy for a second whose WIL is higher than the wielder up to 100 points. Ineffective to those who have a higher will than that.
* Consumes 2 WIL per min
“This…the system! Its rules are still mysterious to me.” Kenshin could only sigh in amazement after seeing the recent set of notifications. Aquaring a variant evolution out of nowhere whose fundamental properties were totally different from before! He couldn’t wrap his head around it.
Earlier, his Death Stare skill was a psychological based skill that affected other’s state of mind, especially to those with a lower level than him. It consumed MP, although it depends upon his WIL stat, it was just for reference.
Well, now that he thinks about it, the only thing this new skill had common with his earlier one was the dependence on his WIL.
‘It seems this has something to do with my formation of Intent. But if so, then why did it not changed when I formed the Intent? Ugh! As usual, sometimes I don’t understand the workings of this system at all! Whatever, let's not look a gift horse in the mouth.’ He settled his mind and calmed his emotions, throwing the question about the working of his system to the back of his mind.
Although it consumes WIL, the good thing was that it could cause some physical changes to his opponents. The paralyzing effect may not sound that effective, but if used carefully, it could change the tide of a battle.
While Kenshin was pondering about all these things, the group of six Gilgamesh Guild members were getting breathless as they laid face down on the snow. Their body had stopped moving, and they perspired so much that even the snow around them slowly melted while forming steam.
Although these reactions sound exaggerated, it was actually the truth. These people’s WIL was almost at 50 or 60. Compared to them, Kenshin’s WIL had surpassed 200, besides he had also formed Intent, so his ‘willpower’ and ‘presence’ was many times stronger than them. It was a little wonder why they felt like a whole mountain pressing on them.
As for the two members of DCB, one was still unconscious from blood loss, while the other one was looking at him with stars in her eyes. Of course, he recognized both of them, especially the punk-themed lady who was now looking at him like she had seen some kind of idol.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Although Kenshin was very uncomfortable with that stare, he didn’t say anything, fearing that he would break this whole cool entry scenario. He opted to stand like a statue, while not doing anything.
“You are Kenshin, right?” the punk girl finally spoke, spooking him a little. Although they had all seen each other, currently his face as well his whole body was covered so it would be pretty impossible for someone to recognize him from just seeing him.
“Hmm! How did you recognize me?” Kenshin asked as he was genuinely curious about it while thinking, ‘she may look like a punk, but her voice was very soft, like that of a young girl’s’.
“Ha! It’s really you! Haha! I can’t forget that unique heartbeat ever!!” her answer made Kenshin take a double take.
‘Sound of Heartbeat!’ while thinking about it, he used his system to scan her stats.
[Natasha][Level 61]
[HP: 124/700][MP: 0/1000]
[Status: Weakened]
[Skills]
1. Shaker Lv9[MP: 5/use]
2. Impact Touch Lv5[MP: 12/Min]
3. Heart of Rhythm Lv7[Passive]
‘Three skills! Not bad! But as I thought, all her skills are based on vibration. She’s a unique magic user after all. Okay, lady, sorry but I am kind of borrowing your skills!’ as all of them were useful and handy skills, and he didn’t have any specific feelings for her, he felt no shame in copying her skills. But before that, he level-upped his replication skill twice. But there was another surprise waiting for him.
[Ding* You have used a skill point to level up Replication to Level 13.]
[You can now replicate two skills at once.]
[Remaing Replication slots: 3/3]
‘This!! It’s a nice surprise.’ While thinking of such, he immediately copied all the three skills.

* As the user of Vibration Energy, your mind and body become very sensitive to all kinds of vibrations happening in your vicinity.
* +5 SP(Sensory Perception)
[Ding* Your Sensory Perception has surpassed 10, it was now visible under PHY.]
Unless they grow by themselves, increasing sub-stats through AP wasn’t possible at all. And his SP had finally surpassed 10 and visible under PHY. As of now, STA(Stamina), END(Endurance) and SP were the only stats visible under PHY.
‘It's my first time seeing someone with a passive skill increasing one’s senses. There are truly many hunters present with divergent skills. I shouldn’t be conceited with my limited strength anymore.’ He reminded himself again. Although he hadn’t shown it, he was a little proud of his achievements before being killed once.
It became a life lesson to him that there exist people who were more powerful than him. They can kill him with just a thought, so there was no need for him to flaunt his limited power in front of such people.
“What happened to him?” Kenshin asked while pointing a finger towards the unconscious man.
“He had suffered a few attacks from that bear and used up all his stamina and energy. He has just lost his consciousness.” The punk-themed girl explained with an eager expression, which frankly weirded out Kenshin a little.
“Those blood?”
“Those are not only his blood. There was some bear’s blood mixed in. It may look like he bleeds to unconsciousness but not to worry, nothing serious has happened. But if you haven’t shown up in time, we two surely have died. By the way, I am Natasha, nice to meet you.”
“I am Kenshin. But what are you guys doing here?”
