Now that the girls are no longer here, Kenshin decided to do the thing which he had been thinking of since the dungeon break. It was counting his loot. During that battle, he had accumulated many weapons, armors and other things as loots. In fact; he even had a few Mystery Boxes unopened.
After helping Mrs. Yui in her shop, he returned home in high spirits. Closing his front door, he immediately opened his UI and opened the inventory. The inventory had neatly arranged every weapon and armor into different blocks and even showed the number each type contained.
From this, he discovered that each slot in the inventory can store only one type of item. And the max amount of items a slot can contain is 99.
There was a total of twelve slots are filled in his inventory. Eight slots were filled to brim with weapons and shields. The remaining ones contained armors and rare monster drops.
Out of those eight, six slots contain only swords. One for shield and the last contains spears. He extracted a sword from the inventory and inspected it. After a few seconds, he placed it back in the inventory. Although these swords couldn’t be comparable to his Skeleton Knight’s sword, they were still weapons of good quality. Even the weakest one was still better than the black steel sword he was using earlier.
The black steel sword costed him around 200G. Since these swords were better than it; they could fetch him at least 500 G at a minimum.

From these swords only, he would get more than 400,000 G!
“Rich!! I have become rich!!!” Kenshin couldn’t help but shout out loudly. Then he started dancing around in joy.
Although 400,000 is nothing much in the eyes of high-level hunters; to Kenshin, who had never seen this many golds in his life, was an occasion worth celebrating.
This was only from the swords. There were still armors, shields and other drops left.
After an extensive search on the internet about the current price of various things, Kenshin calculated the subtotal of every loot he gathered.

78 shields, 78 x 470=36660G.
19 spears, 19 x 781= 14, 839G
17 full set level 4 armors, 17 x 11247=191199G.
20 arm guards and 20 leg guards, 40 x 1145 = 45800G.

Five million golds!!! Kenshin nearly fainted after seeing the numbers. Not believing his eye, he even counted it twice. But the result was the same.
His jaw fell to the ground and didn’t come up for a long time. Millionaire, he had become a millionaire!!!
Kenshin felt like he was in a dream. He had almost died to make enough money for equipment for his sister. But now, he had so much money that he can buy a luxurious car or a villa.
Holy shit!!!
“Calm down! I must calm down first!” Kenshin kept telling himself that repeatedly while seeing the huge number on his calculator.
This much money!! The first step is to find someone who would buy them.
Suguro came to his mind instantly. According to the deed, the government would charge no tax to his loots. If so, then he will sell everything in his possession to the government.
Kenshin called Suguro’s number.
“Good evening Kenshin. What happened? You are calling at an odd time?” Suguro’s voice came from the other side. It had a little slur, indicating that he was a little drunk.
“Are you busy right now?” Kenshin asked, thinking that he had called at a very unconventional time.
“No! Don’t worry about me. I am at a party right now, that’s it. So what’s the matter?”
“Suguro, I am just asking this, but, is it possible for you to come to my house tomorrow? It’s very important.” Kenshin asked after a lot of hesitation.
“Hmm! What’s the matter? You sound very serious! Is something troubling you?” Suguro was very concerned about everything concerning Kenshin. He’s a very promising individual with incomprehensible powers at his disposal. Besides, his contribution to the Mito during the dungeon break was very huge.
Regarding the poachers from the guilds, he was very careful about them. That’s why he didn’t publicize his name. Who knew what would they do, to have such a hunter under their banner!
“It's nothing serious. I want to discuss about the loots with you.” Kenshin clarified.
“Loots! Okay! Then I will be with you tomorrow after 12 PM. Is that okay?”
“Yes. I will wait for your arrival.” After talking about a few more things, Kenshin hanged his phone.
There was a smile on his face as he giddily anticipated Suguro’s visit tomorrow.
That night Kenshin smiled even in his sleep.

“Who was that?” a golden spectacled man came forth and asked Suguro after he hanged up his phone. He was a government official working directly under the mayor and happens to be Suguro’s childhood friend.
“Our new recruit. He was the one I am telling you about earlier.” Suguro replied with a smile.
“Ohh! So he is the powerful hunter you are bragging about! What’s his name?”
“Kenshin.” Suguro proudly said his name.
The arrival of this man had solidified his position in DCB, making him one of the individuals with the most sway in Mito and all over the DCB in Japan. In fact, today’s gathering was about that matter only.
There were some huge changes occurred in Mito’s upper echelons. Today’s gathering was all about discussing those changes. Besides, the center had sent an influential woman over to keep track of Mito from henceforth.
Both the men stealthily looked at a black-haired woman in a red dress talking with the mayor. She was very lovely and had an elegance incomparable to others. Her temperament was also incredible as she was talking with so many old foxes without losing her cool for a second. Currently, she was holding a wine glass in her hand while discussing intensively with some old men.
Some of these old men, who wasn’t aware of her status were trying to hit on her. To them, if they can have this beauty under their thumbs, their future was all set. But towards them, this lady didn’t even bat an eye.
Its as if she disdained the very existence of these old men.
Seeing this, Suguro and his friend couldn’t hold back their laughter. These old men, tomorrow they will inevitably face some bad lucks.
