‘Where am I?’ the moment Kenshin opened his eyes, he thought of this question. Currently, he was floating in an endless void that was nothing but inky blackness. There was only a small blue window keeping him company.

The last thing he remembered was standing in the middle of a dense green fogged area. But as soon as he regained the control of his body, he was affected by the green fog and instantly lost consciousness.

‘Losing control of my body!’ Kenshin frowned when he remembered that time. Although he didn’t have any control over his body, he was still aware of what was going on in his surroundings. When he saw Vera sacrificing her life for his sake, he remembered a bitter memory from his past. That moment of weakness made a crack in his WIL and resulted in something else taking over his body.

Although he regained his bearings after just a second, that second was enough for that ‘thing’ to have complete control over his body.

‘Opposites! Exactly what was the origin of that skill?’ Kenshin couldn’t help but ponder. During that entrapped moment, he repeatedly saw that scene he once saw when he got the opposites skill. But for the current moment, he kept that thought to the back of his mind. The important issue was to know where the hell he was now.

“Indeed!” there was an ancient voice heard from the surrounding when he spoke out loud. It scared the shit out of him.

“Who is there?” he yelled in panic. That voice gave him a very bad feeling as if he was talked to by his killer who had him at gunpoint.

“Don’t bother looking for me, brat! I am everywhere in this place.” The voice replied back arrogantly.

“I see. Then, where is this place? And who are you?” Kenshin asked again. Although he was afraid of the voice, the fact that it didn’t harm him yet was the indication that it didn’t intend to harm him for the time being. He gained a little confidence.

“This place is, well it can be said that it is a place in between life and afterlife. It didn’t have a name. I am the one who is in charge of guiding the souls to Samsara.” The voice replied.

‘So you are a messenger of death!’ Kenshin thought, he had that suspicion, but now it was confirmed by the voice.

“But you are quite a mystery, boy. You have died, that’s I am sure. It was the reason why you are here in the first place, but for some reason, this place wasn’t allowing me to take you to the afterlife. What’s happening?” the voice asked after being genuinely confused by the flow of events. It had never happened before, even those who were half dead, he was still able to interact with them. But right now, this place wasn’t allowing him to interfere with this boy. What's going on here?

“Is that so!” now Kenshin took a deep breath. All the confidence returned to him in an instant. It must be due to my extra lives, Kenshin concluded. But he didn’t reveal it to the voice. He didn’t want to attract the attention of beings beyond his understanding. He had attracted enough already.

“So Brat, why is that?” the voice boomed again, demanding an answer.

“I don’t know. When I woke up, I am already here.” Kenshin lied, that too with a straight face. He couldn’t let it reveal that he knew the answer.

“Hmmm! Is that so.” The voice remained silent.

Kenshin was sure that the owner of that voice hadn’t left the place yet. But what can he do, Vera’s life was in danger. He has to return no matter what.

So, in the end, he pressed the Yes button.

Realizing this, he didn’t waste any more time. Using every bit of AGI in his body, he dashed towards where Vera was laying. It was so sudden that not even the snake with its extraordinary senses could catch up to Kenshin’s speed.

Giving off a silver streak, he zigzagged through the snowy path and instantly arrived near Vera. Grabbing her with his left hand, he immediately made way towards the deep hole he came from earlier. But he didn’t simply run, during this time, he made an Exploding Domain and made it surround the snake’s head. Currently, with the level of his mastery of that skill, he could ignite it even from a kilometer away. As he jumped down, he shapeshifted his backside to create an advanced jetpack. After gaining the skill, he had made a few research on various objects and learned the working of them. This jetpack was one of them.

Blue flames appeared from it as it propelled him towards the deeper parts of the hole. His plan was simple, to take her to a secluded place and using his skill Burrow and Shapeshift he would dig a hole to get away from here. There was no other way, these people were too strong for the current him to defeat.

When he reached the edges of the fourth floor, he made the Exploding Domain ignite. He used that skill in a very interesting way. With the skill, he used the very poison it spitting as an explosive.
