Chapter 84 — Kalek

Chapter 84 — Kalek

Kalek

Ciemnosc then saw Valeria fight the rest of her battles for the next 30 minutes. While there are many deaths in each arena, shortening the overall actual time needed for the preliminaries to take for it to finish, there was a large discrepancy in the comparison of death rates among all major organizations and the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect.

The reason is simple, 7 out of every 40 deaths are from the sect, while the rest are, more or less, equally distributed in a certain sense. And with the way that things were going, this was basically a mass murdering kind of different war. As from the tens of thousands of arenas, and the hundreds of stadiums, many die every new round and every minute.

While there were many deaths, those like Valeria, Enaro, and Fu Lan weren’t saved from having to fight their 5 rounds of preliminaries, and this was such a great opportunity for assassination that no major organization would let go of no matter what.

Yet, they were, of course, completely useless in the end. Those kinds of people from all major organizations were nothing that any cultivator that wasn’t on their level could deal with.

Valeria only needed to use her Mortal grade sword another couple of times, while the first one was the bulky young woman, and the second was a man who used chains to fight. Her dagger was countered rather ‘easily’ by the Eagerburning Flames Sect disciple, who would intercept the chain following wherever the dagger went and stop it before the blade could reach anywhere near his body.

In the end, such brains were broken by the Mortal grade word even if the opponent sect disciple had excellent whip-chain mastery, he was completely overwhelmed the moment that the sword appeared as his 10th stage Spirit Gathering realm could barely be of any use against such formidable weapon, but he at least managed to be useful to Ciemnosc before dying as he failed to shout out ‘surrender’ in time.

Though he ended up dying, the opponent was capable of giving Ciemnosc even more thoughts. He had never used his ‘whip’ in battles, so he could only fantasize about the ways in which he could use such a painful ‘skill’ of his.

The other one that Valeria had to use, was forced to use her sword was with another young man, this time a bit younger and about 29 years old, just 10 years older than her. He was lithe and tall and held a pair of crescent blades that weren’t actually ‘just’ blades but tools!

When the fight started, then, the dagger was practically overwhelmed as the young man would constantly send beams of Power Energy that were shouting from the crescent blades, their handle shining notoriously which was the only way in which it could warn Valeria besides the young man fiercely swinging his arms to send those beams flying out.

In the end, resisting a few superficial cuts that could heal back up with just the flow of her Power Energy and some meditation at the very least, all over her face and arms, Valeria ended that man’s life in a similar way that she did with the bulky beauty. That was also the reason why, despite having her powerful Mortal sword, the young man was able to survive more time as he, and anyone else, would’ve been analyzing her every move from the moment she showed her strongest trump card.

But, instead of killing the young man with her dagger, it was her Mortal sword that ended his life as he was penetrated at the center of his torso by the quickly flying sword, not even impaling him as it went right through like melting butter and it wasn’t even smeared in the slightest of filth.

Except, all of the insides of that young man could be seen ‘trembling’ for quite a moment from the outside before they finally began flowing out of the not-so-large cut at his torso and back.

The other remaining opponent that Valeria defeated, but not killed this time, was an 8th stage Spirit Gathering realm sect disciple, which is why she didn’t kill him…despite him dying a few rounds later when he fell at the hands of a beauty from the Preferential Light Justice Sect; frozen to death by the crotch to his ass.

Though she could do an effort to save her fellow sect disciples from killing or maiming them in any way, interrupting their next rounds, she wasn’t any kind of angel protector; that sect disciple died to his own bad luck. Because Valeria was just at the 9th stage, she didn’t face as many of those of similar level as her, unlike Fu Lan or the 8th stage, who faced many of the same stages and only higher but not lower for the latter.

…When it all ended, Valeria and Fu Lan walked up to Ciemnosc, who was still gazing at the many fights in the arenas, mostly at those who were using medium-long distance melee weapons; be it spears, halberds, pikes, whips, chains, chained weapons, throwable weapons, and extreme melee fights that were full of cheers and the crowd’s apple of their eyes.

“...Are you coming, little Ciemnosc?”

Ciemnosc raised his head as he was intertwining his hands and seriously looking at the arenas, Valeria was locking her left arm with Fu Lan’s right arm, standing practically glued to each other. He tilted his head to the left and blinked once, saying with a sheepish tone. “I actually want to watch more, but uh, Valy?”

“Mhm?” All with hearts in her eyes and with the word ‘doofus’ written all over her face, Valeria was already leaving for what could possibly be her date, she stopped and turned only her head around to look at Ciemnosc patiently.

“Could you give me the information to break through all the other realms? I forgot to ask for those things earlier to the Sect Master and I doubt my teacher has it. I’d also like to not ask for too much later on.” Ciemnosc elaborated, Valeria didn’t even need to think as she nodded, but she indeed looked at him silently in thought before doing so.

“That’s really impossible for others, I’ll leave them in your hands tomorrow, alright? There will be the 64th, 32nd, 16th, and 8th playoffs tomorrow. I think it’s a pity you aren’t yet at the Phrenic realm, don’t you think?” Valeria said and then asked, but without Ciemnosc answering, an actually clever and not hostile Fu Lan added in with a knowing tone. “With your strange but unique prowess, Ciemnosc, becoming the one and only to ever participate in the core disciples’ grand event for all the major organizations would be one of the highest records in history.”

“As for winning one…hmm…perhaps in half a decade, you might be able to win one!” Fu Lan said after seriously thinking, the Spirit Gathering realm was the slowest realm to advance through but not to break through into or out of it into the next realm, with even the Obsidiafying realm being much faster, let alone the Conflagrate realm or any realm lower than that.

“Um, thanks sister-in-law, very nice,” Ciemnosc said, not minding any previous bullshit. But Fu Lan’s eyebrows jumped tantalizingly with potent charm as she stepped closer to him. Her right hand forming a fist to grab his collar, she brought up her nose to his at the same level of height before whispering in a way only she, Ciemnosc, and Valeria could hear.

“To call me like that after ‘promising’ ‘Valy’ so many things to show your gut, yet you are now acquiescing before me? Or is it that you want to take us both at the same time when we least expect it?” Her breath, on his mouth, her eyes, locked and even lost in his as she couldn’t resist letting them fall on them…a bit more.

“Lan Lan please, I was just speaking cordially, I naturally do not fear having to take care of more than one wife. I’m up for the task,” Ciemnosc said, reassuringly nodding at her, giving such smooches to Fu Lan’s tip of her nose that made her very bright white skin flush instantly.

The crowd: (இ௦ இ) (°ỏ°) o(●⍥●)o

Valy: (◎0◎)ᵒᵐᵍᵎᵎᵎ (/.\)

“Ahem,” Valeria ‘spoke’ of her dissatisfaction with getting netorare’d. She pulled Fu Lan back to herself and locked her arms again. She slowly turned around while giving Ciemnosc a fantastic wink before leaving with her hands seemingly holding Fu Lan’s as the latter behaved and no longer said anything nor did anything…except turn her head back and give Ciemnosc a look before quickly hiding her flushed face away from him and Valy at the same time.

The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

Though the crowd couldn’t tell what they were speaking about, especially the latter parts of it, as everyone was able to hear Ciemnosc ask for such important, top most important stuff in the major organizations, and then Valeria right away gave it all to him. They could still make out a few of the not hidden at all meanings in Ciemnosc and the company’s eyes and behavior.

Especially those wanton, perverted, over-sexualized, and elicit nose-to-nose smooching, too lewd!

No one would dare to question Ciemnosc when those 2 monstrous geniuses were suddenly so nice, shy, and all too girly with him when they are monsters instead that do not know anything else but to make shit out of every opponent that wasn’t from their sect. And with statuses that not even elders dare to look at them directly and always give smiles out to them.

…Afterwards, Ciemnosc stayed for another hour to witness a few more battles. But after seeing about 30 times the same thing for each thing he had just now discovered without any lack of ‘personal’ view, he finally stood up and left the stadium.

Instead of walking straight into his Inner Sect Disciple enclave or to the mountain-rock building, Ciemnosc moved around the street, taking out his utterly eye-catching commanding vehicle armored car and stopping at certain points in the city from time to time to slowly walk and even sit on the ground for some time. He wasn’t going to be bothered until the celebration at the end of this week for the champion of this year’s grand event anyway.

Walking, walking, walking, and walking…

Sometimes, he would sit lots of times on the ground while people walked by and looked down at him as if to know who was the idiot being an idiot in the middle of the sidewalk, grass, park, or even close to water.

Other times, he would be simply walking back and forth in an overly enlarged circle on the sidewalk and on the streets whenever there weren’t any cars coming to make him sweet, juicy, and viscous mushy meat.

All in all, Ciemnosc went through the entire city-like sect’s territory for quite a long time, though he didn’t really go all around, he went to the most desolate places, the most bustling, and the most random places all over the city itself. His commanding vehicle was, hence, seen quite a lot from the moment he went out of the stadium in the afternoon to the late evening.

As a result, whether because he wanted or planned it or not, Ciemnosc began to be renowned now. There was a little bit of a commotion in social media as wherever he went a new set of photos would be taken of the mighty handsome ‘teenager’ who still seemed to have childish features on his face, somewhat.

But everywhere he went, as long as there were cute girls or nice old milfs, and some males perhaps— ? —, because of his mighty handsome, charming appearance in his stylish but humble-looking black clothing and dark colors he made large commotions every time he arrived at a new place, and only then did he begin to be taken photos of by others.

Once it became too late and night had arrived, the deep blue, darkest skies of the world arrived and showered a Ciemnosc who suddenly felt like staying there on his spot in the middle of a piece of land with grass and the sidewalk adjacent to it; looking up into the starless deep blue and not even make the slightest of movements, only breathing…

After standing like this for some time, he left and moved towards the mountain-rock building, where the old man was already waiting and with Enaro at the small study, teaching him array formations by letting him watch how they were slowly being created.

At that time, Ciemnosc said nothing and merely entered the basement, elder Apegos was seemingly too busy teaching slowly that he genuinely didn’t notice Ciemnosc coming into the basement after the array was triggered by someone having entered his small study; barely.

When elder Apegos woke up and finished teaching Enaro the way he inscribed not even arrays, merely the simulation of such to a level of slowness that was just impossible to speak of in the same dialogue compared to how Ciemnosc was directly shown array formations, nothing to do with the other.

When elder Apegos came down to the basement that Enaro could still not get into, as a form of ‘advancing’ in elder Apegos’s eyes…yet; he saw Ciemnosc already drawing many sketches of ships left and right. He had 3 new sketches finished, with only 1 of them belonging to the one he had already shown to elder Apegos.

Without much more time to waste, elder Apegos then began to anxiously show Ciemnosc all he needed to know…and wanted to know, as the boy asked and asked the old man, and the old man answered and replied it all to the satiation of the knowledge-thirsty boy.

. . .

The next day, on another stadium and on the top floor. Just about 2 PM and the stadium had been specially and uniquely made to be extremely large and wide; made by elder Apegos.

It had already been a whole day since the start of the preliminaries, which took about up until the last few hours of the day, giving the last few fighters who fought bitterly and became severely injured little time to recuperate. But from this, the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect aided them to restore their full strength and heal back up with pills.

Of course, that was only for their own sect disciples, the rest would have to be treated by their own major organization and their own resources, this wasn’t a simple grand event nor a righteous one. It was even so factious in that way, let alone if this suddenly became a straight-up disordered battle of major organizations vs major organizations, which, thanks to experience from the past, didn’t really get to happen yesterday.

In any case, it has already been a bit of time since the second day started. On the second day, the best 64 would be selected, followed by the 32 best from those 64, 16 best from those 32, and 8 best from the 16 best remaining.

Tomorrow, on the 3rd day, it would be the 4 best from the 8 best of today. And from there, the 2 who remain alive or standing left standing at the end of those 4 fighting for the last battle will fight their last on the 4th day when the entire grand event would finally come to an end. As simple as anything else could be.

Already, Valeria had fought against 3 opponents, in which she had killed them all. All the way from the beginning of the tournament grand event to the playoffs for the best 8 of 16, Valeria has only killed 7 out of her 8 opponents.

But that was mostly due to the great number of deaths in this tournament, which had led to an easy and flowing motion that allowed it so that there could be only about 128 most powerful, clever, cunning, and capable among the core disciples/believers of the 4 major organizations.

Her fight to the 128 for the best 64 was against another Moribund Yearning Cult believer. This one was actually perilous this time, even if it was not so much for the genius that Valeria is. Her opponent was a young man with abilities pertaining to intrusion into one’s mind and knocking out, hurting, and dizzying his opponents.

Valeria wasn’t immune to this, and even stumbled about many times before knocking off the head of her opponent with the side of her Mortal sword. A pretty gruesome and unexpected death as even his head remained mainly ‘untouched’, rolling on the ground…

The fight of best of 64 for the best 32 was fought against another sect disciple, he wielded a short but heavy and fat spear, one whose shaft was as if deformed by its forging-creating process and had a smallish spearhead that could barely do damage.

Though it was heavy, the fellow sect disciple could still brandish it however he wished, slowly and heavy but making the arena floor crack quite a bit despite being designed to endure even Conflagrate realm cultivators’ battling.

In the end, though, the fellow sect disciple ended up dead due to his jokes and obscene movements of treating this spear as his junk and making obvious ‘jokes’; that was what did it as an irked dear Valy ended up impaling back and forth, in and out at his crotch with her ruler dagger and the chains out, the dagger flowing in and out of his body smoothly as if it enjoyed it while easily moving exactly how Valy wanted it to without delay.

Nobody stopped her. Who would dare? Though the upper echelons of the sect wouldn’t be here until the 4th day to watch the final fight, elder Tin’s reputation, name, and effect on the Self-Mutilating Honores Sect were rapidly increasing as of late. It wouldn’t even matter if it was a lewd young woman and Valy a young man. He was now raping her out of disgust. Though that may sound impossible or too offensive for delicate, hypocritical people but anyways.

Lastly, Valy faced another Moribund Yearning Cult core believer, she once again never faced a Preferential Light Justice Sect disciple by sheer luck and didn’t sustain any injury like Fu Lan, Enaro or other such geniuses from the other major organizations had to go through the entire time. This opened her path to fight for one of the 8th places to continue on tomorrow easily even if she did struggle in this second day so far.

She faced a Moribund Yearning Cult core believer at the Spirit Gathering realm 8th stage and quickly decided the outcome with her belly almost getting scratched by a slow yet powerful fat ass puppet resembling the corpse of a golem but still not a corpse nor a golem; just a puppet.

With that quick and decisive ending move, she almost got her guts out herself. But even then, Ciemnosc doubted that would’ve stopped her. How could elder Tin not worry about her disciple even if he doesn’t seem sincere? Even if she could slow down her cultivation if she took such strong medicinal pills as it is said in the books and by the elders and acting elders of the sect that it always happens if not treated by cleansing one’s impurities with several cleansing-like pills; how could elder Tin or Valy ever care about such things in the middle of such a grand event tournament?!

And now…now she was facing yet another Moribund Yearning Cult core believer…but not just anyone anymore…instead, he was the most promising genius of the cult!!

Spirit Gathering realm, 9th stage, Kalek from the Moribund Yearning Cult. A core believer and the most promising youngster of the entire cult as he was just a 21-year-old who had, according to rumors, started cultivating just 8 years ago!
